I went in today to have keys made and to purchase a new key fob. I called ahead to get pricing and to schedule the appointment. I was told in advance that the key fob would be $185 and I needed a key to go inside it. I was told it would be $10 for the key, and I said that "for that price, I will get 2". I was then passed to the person to schedule. Today when they told me they were done, my bill was about $350. The keys were actually $31 a piece and they had charged me a $75 programming charge for the fob. Nothing was mentioned about the cost of programming it in advance and now the keys were 3 times what I was told.On a good note... the keys and fob work great, and the folks there were all super nice. I didnt have to wait long to make it happen. Just a little irritating when you are planning on about $250 and it is $100 more!! That is a pretty big surprise!
When I first checked in the guys were good and took care of me but i wanted to say Nick was the guy that was very friendly and knowledgable. Took excellent care.

brought in my vehicle to have it checked and Melissa gave an invoice and I paid it with a check and after I was gone and already at home she called and said she charged me with another customers invoice. They do not pay attention, wonder if the other cuatomer is aware of leaked information

Took 2 hrs 10 min for a oil change, and tire rotation, the radio antenna was laying inside, I had to screw it in, and rear wind shield wiper was unhooked.

After about 4 months of going back and fourth with Marshall Motors here in Salina, my engine issue was fixed in less than a week at Midway! Not happy! Broke our dash! Waiting to get that fixed. Hopefully its a new part not used. We take pride in our vehicle. Truck was dirty inside and grease on outside. After spending $2000 you would think you could at least clean up your mess inside and wash grease off on the outside. We had faith that youd take care of our truck but you didnt. Not a happy customer! Sorry!
Got my van serviced and they were very friendly and helpful. They washed my van afterwards and realized the washer fluid was low so they filled it up too! Went the extra step!!
Everyone there was so wonderful and welcoming! This was my first new car I have ever purchased and everyone there made the experience super smooth and easy! I am now driving my dream car!
Friendly service is what we always experience from Midway! We needed a recall taken care of and another repair made. We were given a loaner for the duration, which was delayed due to shipping delays (Covid?). We needed to make a couple long distance trips (2 hours one wayand Midway had no concerns we made those trips with the loaner. And...the loaner was a comfortable, clean vehicle!

You know what its like to try to trade a vehicle in but this was just the opposite. We traded with Adam and he listened to what our needs were and ordered exactly what we wanted. No pressure and no BS. Will trade there again A+++ Dealer
*Edited to reflect conversation with GM after review was originally posted.*Our experience with Tom Ruxlow was absolutely wonderful! We love working with him. We bought our previous vehicle from him as well. Great guy to work with, for sure..So, whats my beef??? NO MASKS on employees (thank you Tom, for wearing one all day with us)! Austin Haase, who went over our financials, also wore his correctly the entire time we saw him. He was very friendly and professional and did a wonderful job! Id be happy to work with him again anytime. Bob Ruxlow had one on when I saw him briefly.There were no signs asking or even encouraging customers to wear a mask. I would appreciate that change in the future. Communities MUST work together to stop the spread so our hospitals dont get overrun, so our elderly and fragile stay alive, and so our children can go back to school. If it wasnt for the Ruxlows, I would have never given my business to this establishment. During this pandemic I have been known to walk in and then right out of a business if I dont feel safe. But alas, we had driven 1.5 hours to get to McPherson and I needed to take care of the car situation I was there for! Fast food restaurants are doing more to keep the community safe than Midway Motors was that day. The school district is doing more. Step it up, its just embarrassing to be so careless at this point. This business is currently part of the problem! If you truly care about your staff, customers, and community - you will mandate masks in your buildings.Update: I cant make this up. A week later, my husband and I tested positive for COVID-19. It for sure may just be an awful coincidence. But I now have to feel a nugget of guilt at the fact that I was possibly the reason my family is now suffering from this virus.The owner did call me in an attempt to make amends. Which is always appreciated. However, by the end of the conversation I felt like I was getting lectured. Though he was polite, he was clearly annoyed with my strong review. It started out as a decent conversation and then quickly got awkward. I very much appreciate that he did talk with his staff the day after my review and reminded them that they need to be more careful. I truly and sincerely hope that things have changed there and that masks are being worn by all staff and customers when indoors. I did not write this review to be vindictive. Im not out to get anyone. I simply wanted policy changes- which hopefully happened.Another easy suggestion: give all customers who will be signing anything their own new or newly sanitized pens and have them keep those to use the rest of the time there. I touched a lot of pens and desks that day.I stand by what I said. I am not trying to "ruin" anyone, but business practices are now a matter of public health. Whether I got it from the dealership or not, the fact is I COULD have. I now have an immediate family member in the ICU with COVID. Again, we dont and cant know where our exposure came from, but it is an example of why vigilance in this time is so important. We need to all mask up and care about each other.By the way, we LOVE our new Chrysler Pacifica. If you need a new family vehicle - wear your mask and go on down to Midway Motors and buy one from a Ruxlow 👍🏼.
I had a great experience buying my truck from them. They were willing to drive it to us to let us take a look at it and a chance to test drive it. Jon was really helpful in answering any questions we had about the truck and getting some of the issues we had fixed. When we went to pick it up everybody was real helpful in getting done what we needed to and explained everything. I would definitely think about getting another vehicle from them in the future.
I showed up at my appointment for the service time and they couldnt find my appointment. Then the lady at the counter said she put my appointment in for 8am AFTER we told her the previous week and she wrote down the PM time that would work for us. Then because she screwed up the appt. time they treated our car as a walk in. She didnt tell me that it was going to be a while nor did she even bother to fix what she messed up.
Midway Motors got me in my dream Jeep. 7 months later, I come in for my oil change and Nick Garst is there to treat me like a true friend. He’s helping my family look for our next dream truck, and he’s definitely putting in the work. His team of professionals are always open with genuine hospitality and warm hearts. I’m a customer for life!
Great experience working with Jason and staff. Went in expecting the same run around I have gotten at other dealerships, but it was far from that. Let him know what my situation was and what I needed and him and other staff worked until we got what was needed. Wonderful fast and friendly service.
My son and I are traveling from Nebraska to Texas.. We had a scary experience involving a wheel and shoddy work by another shop back home. Reba and the service team got us in right away, got the problem fixed, and Reba even gave me some advice on getting the other shop to make it right! Great experience, especially given the circumstances. Thank you so much for making a suddenly bad day much better! I wish we lived closer, Id be bringing our Jeep here for everything.
I was not pleased with the maintenance provided. My car went in with no heat on the driver’s side and the issue was back the next day after they replaced two actuators and disabled my remote start all for just $700+ dollars! Then I had to get my remote start fixed for another $200+ at the installer’s shop, where they fixed the heater problem by reseating a connector.
Thank you for the excellent service we received on October 19, 2020. We had car trouble and we had our car towed to Midway Motors for repairs. We were told the transmission needed to be replaced and the cost would be more than the value of our vehicle. We decided to look for a replacement vehicle and Bill Kennedy helped us get a good deal on an excellent 2013 Chrysler Town and Country! Thank you again. Dave Mealiff
We had a great experience finding our new truck at Midway Motors! Scott Radke did a wonderful job finding the perfect truck for us - one we can use as a family, but also to haul supplies when needed! Purchased a used 2017 Pacifica and worked with Jeff Feil and John through the process. We did an extended test drive which was nice to show the family and get a feel for the vehicle. In regards to financials, the Midway team was able to work what I felt was a good deal. Not a high pressure experience. Would highly recommend to anyone in the market.
Bought a used vehicle at this dealership. The sales people were nice. Everything went pretty fast. The only problem i had was with the vehicle itself. Had a check engine light and tire pressure monitor light on. Once i got the vehicle home i spent over $400 in sensors. Knock sensor, 02 sensor, throttle position sensor, oil pressure sensor, and 4 tire pressure sensors. I also had to replace an axle seal that was leaking on the front axle and it has a bad oil leak. The vehicle i traded in had no check engine light and was mechanically sound. I did not ask for them fix anything but should i have to?
Went to 4 car dealerships before going here not good experiences. Both cars I test drove were priced under Nada book value. So, I knew I wasn’t being taken advantage of. Ashley helped me with my purchase. She actually negotiated and finalized my deal on her day off. Couldn’t ask for better service. Will definitely be buying from them again.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would have given a five star review, but was not satisfied with having to bring my Jeep to them twice for warranty work with parts they have in stock. Having to take off work early on two separate days in one week driving from Hutchinson to McPherson, when my extended warranty covers a rental/loaner vehicle.
Great service with no unforeseen issues! Rental vehicle staff very friendly and helpful and when they did not have a rental, sales team stepped up and found me a ride. Thank You Tim and Bill!!
