Migration Camp by Elewana in Serengeti

Simply extraordinary! The rooms are beautiful, spacious and comfortable and you have a lot of privacy because the tents are far apart. The service is the best we have ever experienced (you have a waiter just for you, the read every wish from your lips and are very helpful). The whole lodge is built into the rocks so you have a stunning view over the river, hippos and other animals. Also the food is excellent and we especially recommend the walking safari , which is both thrilling and educational.

While further north from the center, we really enjoyed staying here and you can still do a game drive down there if you leave early (well worth it!The Grumeti River is right in front of camp and on a short game drive we saw zebra and wildebeest crossing it when we stayed in early July. You can easily see wildlife across the river from the deck around your tent, from the elevated platform where meals are eaten, or from the even higher deck where cocktails are served - and the sunsets are divine every night. If anything, just be aware you may come upon some potentially scary wildlife while walking to your tent (buffalo on the path for us)! Youll be escorted by security when its dark but would advise asking for guidance upon arrival on how to conduct yourself should you end up in this situation, if youre not already informed. We had delicious meals (including packed breakfast and lunchesand amazing service from Israel as well as many others during our time here. We really enjoyed getting to know the staff - asante sana!

The service, food, and facilities are completely luxurious, but you always have the feeling that youre really experiencing the Serengeti (not sequestered away in some built-up luxury behemoth). Our server Julius was so warm and took such amazing care of us. Our guide Joseph must have been the most knowledgeable naturalist in all of the Serengeti National Park -- he was superb! Highly recommend this spot in June/July, when the animals are all around, and even walk right through the camp as you relax on your deck, or while at the pool.

Small piece of heaven on earth, amazing staff, manager Saidi really goes all out for a comfortable stay... now there is a pastry chef that can serve u 5star anything....but ask him to make U his personal favourite lemon chicken and vegetables with 4 thick slices of fresh baked bread...then u know what you want....

Migration camp is an oasis in the Serengeti with stunning views and the most incredible customer service. Shout out to our server Hassan for going above and beyond. Although we only stayed one night there, he was sweet enough to give us a cheat sheet of Swahili, which we took home with us. The food was great as well! Thank you to Charles, the manager, for ensuring we were happy the entirety of our trip. Our cleaner (“Horito” I thinkmade sure our room was spotless! We definitely loved waking up and hearing the hippos at random. That definitely reminds you that you’re in the wild!

Très sympathique lodges, cuisine excellente et accueil super gentil et adorable. Pour le safari pas trop d animaux mais attention beaucoup d escaliers. Ça vaut vraiment le coup de passer par là.

Lodge 5 étoiles au sein de la réserve Serengeti. Petit déjeuner avec vue sur les hippopotames, babouins, buffles, éléphants, gazelles dik-dik, Damas des arbres, etc, le personnel est aux petits soins pour rendre notre séjour mémorable.

The True jungle of the Serengeti

Incredible experience - loved every bit of our stay at the Serengeti migration camp. It was a fantastic location, excellent service, high quality lodging experience that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend, especially for special occasions!

Very luxurious at affordable rates

The Migration Camp is set overlooking a river frequented by hippos, whose musical grunting will serenade you to sleep at night. A large number of rock hyrax like to hang around the camp and are quite used to people - they make perfect companions when relaxing on the upper decks of the main area.The accommodation is luxurious with all necessary facilities provided, and the food is of a very high standard.The staff here are friendly and attentive, and service and facilities are excellent.Escorted bush walks are available and offer the chance to get a different perspective instead of bouncing around in a jeep.
