Its delicious, we went to the town to visit my mother and father in law. We ordered pizza for lunch, and its really good. Friendly people and fast service.
They have the best-grilled chicken salad in the world! You must try it with honey mustard. 🙂
Got my pizza with no cheese , called in they said that’s how I asked for it although on there website it say no cheese or extra cheese that’s it which extra cheese is a topping charge , they told me they would make another I didn’t eat any of the pizza they gave me and when I went back inside to get the other they decided to argue instead of making me a new pizza like they said they would do your self a favor and go to pizza factory
Not sure what has happened to this place. They are raising prices while lowering the amount of toppings they use and it’s getting worse and worse. Recently got a medium calzone for 15 dollars and the whole thing was just bread hardly any cheese or toppings. This has slowly been happening over there last couple of months I won’t be coming back anymore sadly and I have ordered from there at least 50 times. I did not post photos out of respect. The new owner is rude and has yet to acknowledge any complaints that I’ve heard from neighbors and friends, please bring back the old owner.
Great service and great Pizzas and Calzones!
Delicious. And thank you for having vegan cheese!
Good pizza but forget the owner, shes as rude as they get and I see many other reviews here saying the same thing about her. We were basically lied to the other night there by her. Oh well.
Really good pizza, possibly the best in the Tri-City area; but the owner, a dark-haired younger lady acted like a skanky you-know-what when we asked why there were no mushrooms on our $25. veggie pizza (instead of acknowledging it abd correcting the issue). She neither looks like OR acts like an owner. But their pizzas cant be topped! (pun intended).
The pizza is a solid 8.5! The jalapeno peppers were around a 3. I think the poppers were of the baked variety. Super cute place! The service was top notch!! Very well located next the the brewery, just a block away from the rest of down town. We had a pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeno pizza. The kids shared a 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese. The topping were stacked as well as the cheese... Just a solid pizza spot. Cant wait to go back and try a different pie.
I had a pizza that was very doughy and when I called the owner told me that was how they made them and maybe I should just never order from there again. About 8 months pass and I order a calzone and breadsticks they are good so I order them again but this time the breadsticks never even touched the oven it was proofed and put in the box. I just ordered a calzone today and it was raw dough in the middle. I go in and they say well that is why I dont recommend calzones....they did not offer to make new ones or anything just looked at it and threw it away. The customer service here is terrible and the food is extremely unreliable. I wish I could give them no stars. Also I am attaching pictures, no that is not cheese but I wish it was.
I always recommend this pizza spot to all my friends n family when they come visit.. i love this pizza
This place possibly has the best pizza I have ever eaten The staff is always nice and courteous, and The place is always clean and the food is always good
Mile High Pizza 🍕Came highly recommended,And was definitely worth it!Pizza 🍕 is excellent, wings were excellent and the jalapeño poppers are the best ever!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍👍👍👍
I go here every Friday for lunch. The food is consistently good and the service is great !
Great food, decent service. Beat pizza within 20 miles.
Pizza was good, ordered deep dish, had alot of toppings. Convenient and close.
Worst calzone I have ever had. Antipasta salad was not good either. No cheese in the calzone just filled with lots of ham and other stuff. Where was the ricotta?
BAD....I ordered thin crust....got a RAW DOUGH regular crust with hardly ANY sauce. UNABLE to talk to anyone on the phone...BUSY BUSY BUSY....finally got through to be put on hold NOW FOR 15 min..NOW YOU KNOW WHY TH PHONE IS BUSY. Still unable to talk to any on short of going in PERSONIT USED TO BE GOOD....phones were manned. Wrose yet is to READ the OWNERS responses to the reviews.....take head to the reviews, they can help improve business...hostioty wont.. Man the phones would also help
Not sure how this place gets 5 stars in other reviews. Thin pizza with no sauce. Was delivered cold. The toppings were ok but it was a huge disappointment for the price paid. Hot wings were what to appear to be boiled wings with hot sauce on top. Again, delivered cold. Mozzarella sticks, inside was a cold stick of cheese. Not sure how they were cooked and still cold on the inside. Worst pizza and wings Ive ever had.
The pizza:Its all right but it had no sauce, and the pizza toppings were okay and but the pizza had no sauce when eating the slice. Its would be a 5.1 out of 10Wings: The wings were a nightmare and there was no seasoning on the wings and it was a sloppy sauce forthe wings and I would not recommend them. 2.3 out of 10.Mozzarella sticks: The sticks was the best part about the food. 9.5 out of 10I have to say that it is the worst pizza ever, Dont even think about eating at this place, this has to be the worst pizza and wings that ever went into my mouth.
One of the best handmade pizzas I have ever hadThe cheese..the vegetables were really fresh 😋 I must recommend this place if you are a hard-core pizza lover 😊
Delicious!!! The crust is perfect and the toppings are good quality. Great prices too. Thr antipasto salad is huge. Highly recommend!!
We wanted something delivered and this was the only place that seemed to provide that service. I can’t believe how much money we spend on thick, rock hard cheese and moderately warm jalapeño poppers. Based off the reviews I thought this place would be amazing but when we received the product it was nothing less than garbage. I gave 2 stars because the veggies were fresh…Uncooked, but fresh none the less. Dough was less than mediocre and the sauce? Forget it. If you want to eat loaded up tasteless cardboard, order here.
Pizza is good. The spaghetti and meatballs are spectacular. The meatballs are world class, or at least as good as my grandmothers.
We love Mile High pizza but please start cooking the chicken wings more! No one likes them slimey. Please cook them longer
Pizza was doughy, seemed a bit raw. Have had pizza here before and it was good this time it was less than ok. One of the young men that was working was less than courteous.
Great pizza at an affordable price. The place was busy which was a good sign when I picked up the pizza. Ingredients were good and so was the whole pie. Will be going again if in the area.
Mile high pizza is a place of nostalgia and comfort to me i grew up in the town of wrightwood eating their pizza and have not had it in 10 years i went to visit family and ordered their racoon added pine nuts and jalapeno just the way I ate it all those years ago and it brought me back to the good ole days their passion and pizza has never changed and I hope it never does to me their pizza and care to orders should be ranked at least top 10 in California restaurants cheers to you and your staff mile high
Very good pizza. Delivery usually prompt. Staff usually friendly and helpful. But they are prone to run out of pizza dough well before closing time when there is something going on. Like just the other day when the Wrightwood Car Show took place. I can understand running out of product when something unexpected happens, such as freak weather, or the freshman class from Victorville High School unexpectedly showing up in town for a surprise sleepover. But not something that has been known about and publicized for months, or a well known holiday. I understand its a small town but I think they could do better planning - its the only pizza place in or near town. I still give them five stars because they will try to come up with an alternative when they run out of dough.
Pizza, cheesy bread, and ravioli are delicious! Fast and friendly service. Loved the shaded picnic tables so we could chill outside with our dog.
Fantastic local pizza joint! Huge and fresh pizzas, I love the Racoon....fully loaded and delicious. Also really love the antipasto salad.Great delivery and great food!!
I have had pizza around the world and Mile High is especially dear to my heart. Not just because its the local favorite of my family, but also because they just make darn good pies! They have some interesting options, like the raccoon pizza, which is surprisingly delicious.
The Raccoon pizza is so delicious. Vegetables weren’t over cooked, dough was perfect with a slight sweet aftertaste and the sauce was amazing. I eat pizza everywhere I travel and this ranks probably in the top 5 for most freshest ingredients and most perfectly cooked pizza I’ve had and that’s saying a lot. As far as the overall taste goes that’s a little to difficult to compare but I can say it definitely lands somewhere near the top and is memorable. It’s funny how some of the best food often comes from small little towns that you wouldn’t expect. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Ohh and surprisingly it wasn’t that expensive compared to everything else in this town or other small towns nearby.
Slow quiet little town vibes friendly and amazing pizza. Youll love it I promise1
So so good. We ordered late on a Saturday night so the delivery took a little long, but so worth it. They load these pizzas up with toppings and everything was such high quality. 10/10 would recommend!!
Friendly staff and I must add, ingredients on our 4 topping pizza, they were generous! We live at the other mountain range (San Bernardino Mtns.), to us, theyre better than what we have. Well be back!
The service was dim not very friendly, decided to split a medium with my hubby , half mushroom and pepperoni for him , I chose hawaiian delight.when we received our pizza there was no 🍍 on my half with canadian bacon . when asked about this, young girl acted like it was my fault I asked about 🍍 and she said they would cook some on this is what i got back 😡😧😥.never had a poor tasting hawaiian 🍕 ever . not a good place or service
Best pizza and calzones ever!
Great vegetarian pesto pizza, leave off the cheese and put more toppings on. Best pizza around. I drive up from Rancho Cucamonga just to get this pizza. Ask for extra thin pizza option, less dough more taste.
Stopped by here once on the way to an overnight hike nearby. The pizza was excellent - much better than I had anticipated for a place in the mountains miles from major population areas. The prices were fair as well... Gave me a lot of energy for my hike also!
Would’ve liked the pizza cooked a little longer but ingredients were good!
I love the pizza at Mile High Pizza when i am back in town for Snowboarding. My parents, Anita and Condy DeCarli formerly DeCarlis Country Store from back in the 80s, would be happy to see how the owners cater to the community like my mom Anita always did. I thought id post a few older pics if people remember of the store and Mountaineering Days. Lots of history in this building. Thanks for keeping it up in the community.
I’ve been getting pizza here ever since they opened and it has always been a town favorite. Wonderful pizza and a great deal! They deliver too~the meat lovers is pretty extreme. You’ll find generous portions and friendly employees if you pickup.
seriously probably the BEST blue cheese dressing Ive ever had! Excellent lasagna with chunky meat sauce, best pizza in town! I think the only drawback is that they say they have deep dish pizza, but it was more like a pan pizza, not at all what I think of as deep dish, however, it was delicious as it was and we ate the whole thing!
I came to the mountains with some family and we decided to try a new place out here. You can’t go wrong with this family pizza restaurant. The pizza has so much flavor and they pack it with toppings. The crust is fluffy and has a nice crunch to it. It’s not super oily or greasy either. The people are so nice, polite, and it’s very lively. I loved it. I recommend it to anyone wanting something new quick and flavorful.
Very good! Good price. You almost need a bowl and spoon theres so many toppings, there falling off the pizza! Carry out only. But they have some picnic benches outside. There specialty is something called The Hog trough, they bake it twice!
Visited Mile High Pizza.... What are spectacular friendly place the staff are so pleasant. THE Owner takes Exceptionally interests in his local community. Here theyre demonstrating Their prom pizza its awesome. Just one of the many things they do for Wrightwood and their customers.
One of the best places to eat in town. The pizza is amazing and staff will generally give you water or even soda while you wait on your food. This is not a place to sit down inside and eat, but doesnt change a thing. I was even given a cookie while I waited. They have the best service every time I have been here and the staff is friendly and always in a good mood. PCT hikers, make sure you grab a pizza while in town and maybe even some more for down the trail!
This is by far my favorite Pizza place. Been there many times and every time, the Pizza is always home made and amazing! Love that its family owned! They are really nice and talkative which makes the wait even better. May be no seating inside but just sitting outside eating hanging out with friends or whatever is the best too. And they all agree it is some of the best pizza theyve ever had. 👍
Delicious pizza. Good crust, delicious cheese, fresh veggies, and fresh and delicious mozzarella cheese. Salad was so good and fresh. Large portion! Cute place, friendly staff. We will return!
