Didnt eat here. But they let me use the bathroom. I was having trouble finding one with a wheelchair access close by.
Great service! Good foodGreat burgers! Large portions. Homey! Clean restrooms. We will definitely be back
Im traveling from Arizona, visiting Milford PA. After hiking I Googled best food, came up with Milford Diner. I wasnt disappointed! Thoroughly enjoyed the Swiss burger and crispy french fries.(My only suggestion would be to lose the silverware packaging to eliminate plastic in the landfill.)
Ripoff, ordered steak and cheese no onions or peppers. Came in a metal tin, first issue. Cheese layer on top of sandwich was second issue, couldnt inspect properly. Smelled awful of peppers and onions, had to RIP apart the product to see if it was correct and thats when I saw the LACK of meat inside the sandwich. If you want sub par food at a ripoff price this is your spot. Fries were soggy.
The best to how the diners were in the old days when it comes to a good ole burger or breakfast it brings the comfort of enjoying the food and meeting the locals. Diners with previous History on the walls showing Past and Present really shows a sense of why theyre still in business. Its the happy locals that keep on coming! Im sure not a local but HI-NJ-PA I can say I appreciate a well cooked meal and so far Milford Diner got my attention
Everytime I eat here I have a pleasant time. Service and food is always good.
Decent breakfast place for ham and eggs. Attention to details an issue so keep it simple. Friendly service. Fair prices.
Have eaten here for years, on our way to/from Vermont. Always a good meal, and great service. Broccoli done in olive oil & garlic is outstanding!!
Nice little resturant in a quaint little town. The food was great. The menu is huge. Pretty much anything you would want. The portions we got were also huge. We found it on our trip If you get a chance to stop in you wont be disappointed. The prices were very reasonable and the service was good.
I ordered the Cobb salad, I could have sworn it was supposed to come with hard boiled egg, not in mine?meh. It was somewhere to grab a bite to eat while we were in the area that day.
Selected this place for an early dinner after a great hike at Stairway Lake. The service is fantastic with one person dedicated to getting your drinks and clearing dishes.Nice portions. The stuffed crab is 90% filler, thus the 4 star rating.Plenty of parking at 4pm.
The food is good, they have a nice selection. The staff is very friendly and they have good service.
Wonderful food felt at home, even though we were far from our Texas home. Food and dessert Greek was fantastic 😋
Stopped for breakfast and not let down. Service was top notch and the pancakes, sausage and eggs were very good and filling.
Very crowded for 11am-1230pm Sunday breakfast/lunch crowd. Got seated for a table of 7 fairly quickly, but the wait time to make the actual order was about 30min. Inexperienced drink order waitress got the order mixed up, but it all worked out since everyone ordered similar drinks. More seasoned waitress who took our main orders got everything right and the food was fresh, good, and filling. Had leftovers for another meal.Keystone Omelette for my husband had a few small pieces of eggshell in it so he had to chew extra well.Home fries were tasty, not too oily, not burnt. Turkey club was stacked and fresh with a side of crunchy fries.Blueberry pancakes came in a pile of 3, were large (about 8" across), and had a good amount real blueberries. Had some leftover to eat as a snack for later.Chicken caesar wrap was fresh and just the right size to satisfy that morning hunger. French Onion soup was delicious although small and topped with a slice of white cheese.Taquitos that my nephew-in-law chose were slightly soggy by the time they reached our table so his order mightve been sitting for a bit before getting to us.Restaurant was really bustling by lunchtime and we finished our food at a convenient time to escape the larger lunchtime crowd. No opinion of the bathroom since me and my husband did not use it.Parking is limited (10 spots?so not ideal for a large SUV or for drivers not used to narrow spaces.Sidenote: Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was the very slow service in the beginning. New customers orders were taken before ours and we were ready to order before our 7th guest arrived. Perhaps this place will be better on the next visit 🤷♀️
Fast.friendly service. A classic diner with a large variety of comfort food.
the dishes are huge and overall the food is decentthe service is very slow
Labar weekend visit Milford diner. I order moon Berger but so disappointed. Which beef over cook and burning to charcoal , coleslaw put in drippings plastic cups. Fry is dark . I will never ever go back again.
We eat here once a week when we are home. This is a friendly, clean restaurant with great food. The meatloaf is particularly good and the mushroom and onion gravy is out of control. I eat a lot and I am never able to finish more than one out the 3 slabs of meatloaf. The sandwiches are outstanding and huge. French fries are good.
Food is excellent for diner food but its really busy at breakfast on the weekends and they tend to ignore you a little because its so busy but its the weekend.. I just hate feeling like a number.. but for the most part the diner is very very good
We found this diner on the internet while traveling from Ocean City, MD to Scranton. The food was fantastic! It was the cleanest diner weve ever been to. The waitress was so personable. You wont be disappointed. We loved it.
We had lamb for dinner. It was best meal yet on our trip. The lady that waited on us a elderly lady. Looked like she had had enough. But she was very nice and helpful. We loved the food. So we returned for breakfast. It was good as well.
Breakfast was delicious. Entrees arrived at the table exactly as ordered. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. It was quite busy when we visited on a summer Sunday late morning.
The service at Milford Diner was great. Food was good. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The prices were just a little high.
Excellent diner with delicious Greek food. I got the double chicken souvlaki special with rice and Greek salad after a long hike and still couldn’t finish. I had to take half the chicken, rice and pita home and had another meal out if it. Service was prompt and friendly. Everything was clean and pleasant inside. Great experience all around and my new go to spot after hiking nearby.
Great little diner. It was super busy when we went and can be a little cramped, but the waitresses were amazing and got everything entirely right and the coffee kept being filled. Everything you could want from a diner.
Service was excellent. Food was okay, I think it was a different chef. Prices, like everything else, have gone up but stll in the decent range.
Everything was pretty bland in terms of flavor and the service was ok. I did have to track the waiter down for the check which should be unnecessary in a small place like this. I dont have any plans to return here again especially because the prices dont reflect the quality of the food.
Waitress and staff where horrible and nasty. Took the food to go because couldn’t handle the nasty attitude and stair downs. Only reason I didn’t give a negative review was the food was decent.
I had the liver and onions with bacon was perfectly cooked to perfection. Had a nice salad which was lovely. Be sure to check out the specials when you first walk in cuz thats where theyre listed at. There is no listing inside. Ill definitely go back if Im in the area.
We came for breakfast yesterday. The service was fine. My husband’s order of French toast ($7was pathetic. There were 2 slices of the thinnest white bread I’ve ever seen. They should have been embarrassed to serve such a small portion! My vegetable omelette was mediocre at best. Quite disappointing!
This was our first time eating at the diner. The service was excellent! The food was "Ok". The breakfast potatoes had a strange smokey flavor that we werent expecting, but the Monte Cristo was delicious.
good place for breakfast i enjoyed it. but was hoping for a latte and other items of sort. very good service though
My southern raised companion had praise for the biscuits & gravey & I had a PA tradional breakfast S O S. Ask because it was not on the menu for their scrapple, while not like my mother made, it was very good
A very nice place for a great breakfast. Always busy so you know the food is fresh. Always a delicious meal and the staff is very friendly 😋
This place has really gone downhill. I totally understand the revamping and shortening of the menu. But, please stop cutting corners on the quality of food! I ordered a chicken philly. The peppers were from a jar and the mushrooms were from a can. The vinegary brine from the peppers made the sandwich inedible for me. I chose the cream of turkey soup and that was delicious. But, it was so cold in there. Firstly, there was no where to get out of the way of the air conditioning. And secondly, the food was ice cold within minutes. The ladies room was filthy. The toilets were in disrepair and the toilet paper holders looked like they had never been cleaned inside. This used to be our go-to place for a great meal while passing through town for 20 years. I definitely realize that the pandemic hit the restaurant business very hard. But, between the concerns listed above and the almost doubling of their prices, we wont be back.
Great place to eat. Wonderful chicken pot pie and Greek salad. Its in a historical building which adds to being there. Well worth stopping for a bit to eat!
Just found a little known gem in Milford, PA. A small town just south of I-84 on Rt 6 near the NY border. Came into town after 10 hours on the road. Had two priorities; beer and food. Had some beers at the local American Legion, together with a tasty jalapeno pretzel. The patrons there told us to go to the Milford Diner. Sure glad we did. Great food, large portions, and a friendly staff. They treated us like we were their first guests, not their last of the night. Even though they dont serve beer, a thumbs up.
Had the gorgonzola spinach mushroom flank steak salad with balsamic dressing on side. It was absolutely delicious! Large portion. Needed to do a doggie bag. Husband had grilled burger with fries. Perfectly grilled. Tasted like ground steak. Fries were awesome. Hate going out anywhere because Im a really good cook and grill master but we were in the area shopping and decided to check it out. Waitress was friendly and so sweet. Wonderful meals. Old time framed pictures of celebrities was a homey touch to the rooms.
The family had a great breakfast there. Staff were polite, friendly, food was delicious. Service was great thru our entire meal. Love the diner too.& decor, nice & comfortable, clean, well kept.
Always wonderful service and top notch diner food! I recommend
The most hospitable service, very friendly and I gotta say NY has alot to learn about cheese steaks and french dips. I also noticed, out of the corner of my eye, as they were walking up to the table to ask how our food was and saw us with our mouths full they walked on so we could eat!! Awesome diner, little things go a long way ;)
O email of the best steak and eggs I have had in years. Great food, great service and a lot of parking .They were not shy 0n the strawberries for the French toast!!! All wa yummy. My only observation is that if they were to have maple syrup available...oh well that would make a lot of people happy!!
Friendly staff. Delicious food and huge portions. Want to go back!
Very good food, had the broiled fillet of flounder stuffed with crabmeat stuffing, the rice and mixed veggies came separate but I mixed em together, easier to shove in my big mouth, also had chicken quesadillas for appetizer, great food, at a great price, food took a while to come out, but I believe it was cooked to order as it was hot and good, service a little slow, but Im guessing they are short on help due to pandemic, but all good I will be back.
Great place to dine while in Northeast, Pennsylvania. Its a classic small town diner with a large menu, great variety, large portions, and decent prices. The only downside is that they close at 10 PM.
Love this place. Our go to when we do decide to eat out on weekends. Been coming up to Poconos since 1979 and when we get lazy and dont want to cook we know where to go! They even have gluten free bread options! Way to keep up with the times guys! Thank you!
Stopped here on Saturday for lunch, eating under the tent in parking lot (pleasant). Staff was pleasant, but waitress didnt follow up with a, "Is everything Ok?". So you know when youre handed a menu and it offers everything under the sun ... its not a great sign (and not talking breakfast). I ordered a "Cuban" sandwich, wife ordered a wrap. The ham (sadlywas dry, it lacked enough pickles and they missed the mustard. A taste bud disappointment. My personal thought to ALL restaurants... if you offer the obligatory, "How was your meal?" when collecting the $$$ ...and your guest politely offers a sincere critique... what will (doyou do with that information? Suggestion: Have a plan. Not suggesting comping the meal, but have a plan. The deer in headlights look doesnt work.😕
Local restaurant with an extensive menu and nightly specials. We had hot roast beef open face sandwiches with homemade mashed potatoes..great gravy. Included soup and another vegetable. Breakfast all day. Great fresh coffee even at 7 pm.Clean and well kept. Open 7 days a week until 10 pm. Server was friendly and efficient.
This place was great and is a classic dinner as you can get. Place was a little smaller so at busy times there might be some wait. Food was hot and good sized portions. Food came out quickly and service was great. Seemed like a town favorite!
