I love this place they did so good for my 2 babies my dogs the service was nice the treatment was awesome I highly recommend this place.
Very happy with Chris and Dr Ellis service. My dog was well treated.
We had to take our sick elderly pup to them. The staff was great, the office is clean and friendly and the vet is a true animal lover. They did everything they could for our dear friend and family member. I highly recommend this place for quality care.
They did a great job working with my nervous kitty and listening to all of our concerns and addressing them.
The groomer was amazing my cats havent looked so good ever....and they were so happy.Thank you
Called every vet in the northern ogden area and all were booked out. Millcreek was able to get me in by the end of the week to get a foxtail out of my dogs foot. The staff is great! My dog loved them! They are very reasonably priced, and were great to work with.
I have been once and it will only be once. Even a rescue animal deserves the best. I get you might offer the service for less but they still deserve the best. Also don’t charge the foster for care that we did not authorize. Maybe call before. That is on you. Also your receptionist are not welcoming. They also need to be prepped for your appointment and it should have been known that an email was sent for our puppies care prior to. The appointment. Also when you show up for pick up time and 5 of your staff are there and no one says hi, it does not look good for you. It looks like “ I don’t care about you”.I should have been more clear. Your nurse told me the recuses get the bare minimum. Her exact words. I told her I had pain meds at home so I declined them. Also when I picked up I was told by the tech I was being charged for $62. This was for iv fluids and a pain injection. Both items I did not approve or was even asked about. You can not add on services after the fact. Also if you don’t want people thinking you treat rescue pets less then, you need to teach your techs different wording.
My vet wasnt in today my baby got stung or bit by something they got me in right away and helped me the nicest staff thank you for helping my baby
I thought my dog had a fox tail and the tech looked and no fox tail...yeah but ear infection. Put drops in and away we went. Fast and easy.
Horrible! There is a reason this is a lower ranking veterinarian office and easier to get an appointment. My dog was super nervous going in -which is not like him- and then after waiting for 15 minutes, they told us there was a scheduling issue and they couldnt see us after all and we needed to re schedule the appointment that they made us pay for in advance.
They were great took really really good care of my sweet fury baby and I appreciate it so so much once again thank you ladys
They were great!! I was worried about my 18 year old cat being put under anesthesia, but they assured me she would be fine. She did great and is recovering well at home.
We took our dog to get groomed there and Amber was amazing and did a great job! However my husband said that he over heard one of the staff members being very rude and unprofessional..he said it was to either another employee or customer..he found out her name is Kimmy. Maybe she was having a bad day or something..but definitely needs an attitude adjustment and treat people better. I am sure the Dr is great but if staff like that would treat my dog like she does people I am going elsewhere.
Spayed 4 cats. After the procedure they tried to give the cats all back but I noticed that they all had puddles of blood underneath them and were still excessively bleeding from the surgery. None of the techs had noticed and were willing to just send the cats home to bleed out and die. Super unprofessional.
I bring my dog Murph here for all of his needs. They have always treated him like their own. I decided to have him groomed. He is a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd with aggressive tendencies. The results are AMAZING. Definitely recommend and will be going back for grooming from here on out! Thank you Kaysha!
They were amazing when my little dog was attacked by a big dog. They kept me informed the whole time.
Dr. Kristie Ellis is just wonderful. Shes patient and kind. She won my puppy over. She worked with me so I could get the most important things for my puppy. A girl up front was wearing a cute head band with shamrocks. I was asked to pick from the pot of gold. I won a free grooming and nails trim for puppy. She was so nice. Genie upfront was so nice we chatted a while while puppy was groomed. And she carried puppy out in her Carrier for me. Very nice. Another lady helped me with my phone. I appreciate her for that. Now the last time I had puppys nails trimmed at another place. They cut so short she bled. So I was nervous. But this groomer at Millcreek was amazing. Puppy went with her. I didnt hear one yelp out of her. Puppy liked her. Puppy smelled and looked so nice. The groomer even put a little yellow bandana on her. I love this place. I feel like Ive known all of them forever. This is puppys new vet. And were staying put. 😊 ❤️. P. S. Saturday April 9th 2022 Millcreek animal hospital is having an Easter egg hunt at 10:00 am. At slaterville park. 250 N. 2250 W. Marriot-slaterville. I hope you take your kids. They are having over 5,000 eggs. 😊
They take good care of our pets. They really care... I really like this place!UPDATE: for some reason my dog is scared to death to go there anymore Im not sure what happened but something happened she hyperventilates and freaks out anytime we go she used to love to go there they worked with me with the cost of some things cuz I couldnt afford it which was really awesome but if my dog is that scared to go there Im going to have to stop going there myself I cant do that to her so I went from five stars to three just because of that fact.
I was in need of a time sensitive surgery for my dog, I asked if I could speak with the vet before I scheduled the appointment - the receptionist said she would call me in between appointments before the end of the day. 4:00 pm rolls around and still no call, so I called them to make sure they didnt forget about me... they assured me the vet would still be calling me before she leaves. Long story short, I got no call and was unable to schedule the much needed procedure for my dog. I ended up taking her to my old vet all the way down in Cottonwood Heights.Communication is HUGE to me, if they cant even call me back in an emergent situation, why should I bring my dog there?
My pup and I got treated so well at Millcreek! I was so worried to leave her all day for surgery but once we walked in, most of my worries went away because of the amazing staff, I knew she was in good hands. Then when I picked her up, my feelings were validated! They took such great care of my baby and let me know how she was doing all along. Also, the price was affordable and they even clipped her nails while she was under sedation! This will be our vet from now on! Thank you to the nurse, doctor and staff for treating my baby so well!
They help with the animal shelter and rescue groups which is amazing! They have a couple of cats that hang out in the lobby which is awesome! I don’t know what vet worked on the puppy I’m fostering but he did a really good job fixing his face after he got attacked!
They always take good care of my puppy she is elderly now and needs extra care and Millcreek has made the transition easy for me and my dog. Wonderful and caring place!.
Oh man! Best vet ever! They took amazing care of my dog Bean and were so great with her! There staff is awesome and so kind of I could give them 20 stars I would!100/10 recommend!!❤️❤️
Millcreek is always able to squeeze us in for appointments and provide great care at a good price. The staff are very friendly and interested in the well being of my dog.
I love this place! Doctor Ellis is a sweetheart and you can tell she truly cares for our pets! And Kim the tech is AMAZING! She is always looking out for our best Interest as well as our pets!
I had to put our first daughter to rest Sage baby, AKA mamas and they were extremely helpful and sweet and respectful we had five friends in the room as well they were so sweet staff and all. I took our new pup in today and cried and cried and the staff again was so sweet and accommodating to my loss I love this vet thank you for making such a hard time just a bit easier. Thank you front desk ladies your the bomb.
All of the staff here are kind and friendly. Dr. Ellis was fantastic! My dog was very calm during the evaluation because of the care they gave. Easy to find. Reasonable prices. Lobby sells limited items including specialty pet food. Walter, the clinic cat, is kind and plays well with others.(at least he didnt egg my schnauzer on). Thanx so much for the great services you provide!!
Millcreek Vet is amazing they are always friendly and professional. When I make my appointments they get me in fast and convenient. Dr. Kristie Ellis is the best she is so knowledgeable and did my dogs leg surgery perfect, she’s the only veterinarian i could find that was willing to work with me to make a plan to pay for surgery, and that’s how you know she really cares. Surgery went perfect and 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dr. Ellis is a most amazing Vet. She has skills beyond expectations. She is great with my dogs. Her surgical knowledge and skill is wonderful. She was able to repair my aussies leg. My aussie doesnt even limp or favor that leg. She has a knowledgeable staff, very helpful. I highly recommend her, her staff and office. Most amazing experience.
Sherry is one of the most kindest, compassionate, and beautiful people I have ever met. Bringing our dog in to be cremated, after losing him in a house fire, was one of the hardest things Ive had to do. But Sherry shows so much love and compassion that she really doesnt need to say anything. You can see it and you can feel it. Thank you Sherry for being you. Thank you for having so much love for all animals. And thank you for your support to my family!!! 💜
Our cat gets in cat fights that sometimes results in an abscess paw. The staff is so wonderful. When I have needed help they take care of us quickly and they groomed our cat this year!!! He is so majestic now! Take your best paw friends in and they will be fair, caring and honest. Best groomers in town and yes they will give your cat or dog a mullet! Dont forget to tip your groomer ♡
Dr. Ellis is seriously the best, she took great care of my two American Bullys. Because of her and the staff my guys look forward going to the vet! Totally recommend taking your dogs here! Every time there was a problem with my older dog who had surgery, they got me in fast and I totally appreciate that!
Dr. Ellis listened to me and took care of my Kingsley. He is almost 100% back to himself. Everyone was so kind and took the best care of my puppy and treated him like their own!
Dr. Ellis and her team are so kind and caring. I love the way Dr. Ellis shows her love for animals. She remembers our animals and takes the time to cuddle and help them be at ease. The work they do is excellent! I needed an urgent care appointment in the late afternoon for one of my cats who was sick. I was told the wait could be over an hour or an hour and a half. We were seen within 20 minutes. Thanks so Dr. Ellis and her staff at Millcreek Animal Hospital, our cat, Koromasu, is starting to thrive again.
I brought my cat in yesterday because he was lethargic, and I was scared. Everyone I spoke to both on the phone and in person was very nice, reassuring, and seemed like they actually cared bout mr meowgi. They kept him overnight and said they would call me today to let me know how he was doing and when I could pick him up. For those of you wondering, it turns out, hes diabetic! They actually spent quality time with me to go over care instructions and made sure I completely understood everything. I will be bringing both my cats here from now on! Thank you millcreek!
Best vet I have gone to. They are patient and really love the animals. I have never have experienced a vet like this. It felt like home and my pet is in loving hands!
DONT EVER COME HERE!!!!!!!! They dont contact you when an issue arises with your animal. My friend took her 3LB dog here to get groomed and now she will never see him again. The groomer "held him too tight" to the point where he turned purple. They had to put him on a ventilator and it didnt help him. They did not contact the owner and avoid her multiple phone calls. She found out when she decided to just go into the hospital. Disgusting and terrible that a 3LB dog had to lose his life because they dont know how to groom. Avoid going here for your fur babies safety.
I called every vet in the Ogden area and no one but Millcreek seemed to be concerned about my furbaby being injured. They got her right in and took amazing care of her. She is home and doing so much better! They where very professional and didnt do any unnecessary procedures on her. I will definitely be using them again for any of my furbabies needs. Thanks guys!
Dr. Clough at Millcreek was awesome with my bunnies. He is very knowledgable and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Clough for all of your pets.
Very friendly and helpful staff! We got our dog neutered here and he did great. We also had to bring him in for an emergency and they took us back right away and treated us and him with respect and kindness and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend this vet!
I love bringing my doberman here, their vaccinations are affordable, staff members are friendly, they make you feel very welcomed, its always clean, theyre so good with pets, they have the most adorbal cat just walking around inside, they listen to your concerns and help find solutions, they also dont judge you if your dog is hyper which my dog is when she gets excited, they always have treats to get her to settle down it works every time. Ive taken my dog here to get her nails trimmed and they did them very fast and my dog wasnt in any pain. You wont regret bring your pet here.
Dr. Ellis is absolutely AMAZING! She has lanced a boil on my cat, my cat had a quick and easy recovery. She also diagnosed one of my dogs with addisons disease and has followed his treatment closely to ensure the best care for him. They always get to us in a timely manner, return calls quickly, and always answer any questions we have! I will always recommend Millcreek for any pet needs.
I was able to get a same day appt for my new puppy to get shots. Dr. Ellis answered my questions and helped me make decisions for my little guy. The place is very nice and the staff was very friendly. We have a year wellness plan with them so we will definitely be back.
Had my pet rats tumor removed here. Throughout each step there was a level of professionalism that I never felt at another vet. Each member of the staff genuinely loves animals. Our rat successfully underwent the surgery, and recovered even faster than anything could have predicted. I highly recommend this establishment because I have never seen a group of medical professional so passionate about helping others.
Love the Vet and staff! Kristy Ellis DVM. is very good with your loved ones. She is kind, sweet and gentle and treats them as you yourself would. Only reason that its not a five star is that prices are high to the point that you almost cant take your loved ones in for treatment. Their prices are better than most but its the industry as a whole. And I do understand how much it cost to run your own business and veterinarians are definitely not an exception but... When it cost as much for dental surgery on your dog as it does for a new transmission there seems to be a problem. And dont get me wrong, I love my furry family more than anything. I would take out a mortgage on my home for them, point that Im making is that I shouldnt have to take a 2nd mortgage out to pay for vet care.
Great people who do great things for animals! So giving and caring! The small scale St. Jude for pets!! Thanks for all of your hard work!
Hello. My name is Sheila Hunter. I’m a former EMT, married to an adorable OB/GYN. I volunteer at a wonderful pet rescue called New Beginnings Pet Rescue ❤️🐾🐾They are extremely professional and kind hearted. I mention them here because Dr. Ellis at Millcreek Animal Hospital has been invaluable in saving the lives of animals particularly kitty cats and doggies for years and years! ❤️🐾🐾🙏🏼Her kind of staff and herself has been the most honest, merciful, generous & compassionate I have ever seen in the veterinary field. I started to go to Dr Ellis over 15 years ago and I will always go to her and no one else! ❤️❤️ Being married to an MD gives me a unique perspective, Dr Ellis is very honest with her prices- she keeps them affordable- & does not do anything unnecessarily and is very honest and forthright when it comes to treatment and diagnosis etc. She really loves and cares for her patients! ❤️🐾🐾 I enjoy the feeling of walking in and being treated like I’m one of the family! I don’t feel like just a client, I feel like my animals are loved by the staff & by Dr. Ellis. I’m originally from New York I’m very picky about what services I have for myself and my family. My pets are definitely my family ❤️🐾and you will not find a better veterinarian in the mountain west than Dr. Kristie Ellis! ❤️🙏🏼
We took our furry daughter to Millcreek the first time on an emergency call for her eye. It was late on Friday and our regular animal clinic would not let us do a walk-in with her and would not recommend any one else who would see her. We started calling around as we did not feel waiting until Monday was an option. Millcreek told us to bring her right in as eye problems was not something to delay. This clinic is further from our home than our old clinic was but we have continued to take both our girls to them and we always get great service.
My friends cat had a urinary blockage. Her vet hospitalized him for 4 days then recommended euthanasia. She called asking for my advice since I do animal rescue. I picked up her cat and took him to Dr. Ellis. He was hospitalized about a week then went home with no problems. Shes very knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. Her staff is extremely friendly as well. l am impressed with her compassion for the animals. She has not become numb like many other vets.
The BEST place I have EVER taken my babies to! The warmth, care & love is genuine...keeping me coming back. Thank you SO much for making me and Siren feel so safe & also checking in on my little one afterwords! Dont ever change!!
