Cute little cafe on Wattletree Rd, just off the Glenferrie Rd. Have been here twice and both times really enjoyed their coffee and sandwiches. Pictured are skinny mocha and chicken avocado sandwich.

Won a food giveaway and always wanted to try this cute little cafe in Malvern. First impressions - the cafe owner really takes the time to get to know his regular customers, and that’s probably why they keep coming back!Coffee was good and representative of the city’s high standards. The menu was simple and ideal for customers who are on the go and want a quick bite. Plenty of sandwich choices to go with your daily coffee. The smoothie bowl ($18was huge and generous in portions - we paid a little extra for a dollop of peanut butter and that was a worthy investment! They also added tasty granola which went well with all the fruits and smoothie.The pumpkin bread was a healthy alternative and went well with the feta cheese and sliced avocado. We found the maple bacon sriracha a bit too sweet and wished that they retained a bit more of the original bacon flavour but we will wiped the plate clean nonetheless. Cozy little cafe Milu is popular amongst the locals of Malvern and you can see why. The menu is simple but full of delicious goodies, my favourite has to be the sriracha maple bacon roll - honestly best thing I’ve had and I don’t even like bacon much. The blue spiralina smoothie bowl is also simply divine and the red velvet waffles are stunning. Great hospitality and service from Anita and Reza - they know all their regulars and you can tell they love what they do. Look out for Milu on Wattletree Road, you cant miss it with its beautiful pastel interior.

A beautiful cafe with a beautiful smoothie bowl to match with it!FOOD: I ordered the Blue Spirulina Smoothie Bowl after seeing it on alot of Instagrams and me being the smoothie bowl lover I am, had to try it and everything about it was amazing!! The smoothie was an amazing texture and the toppings were super fair and nothing was too overwhelming! This definitely has to be one of the most refreshing smoothie bowls I’ve ever had and the peanut butter they used was amazing as well!! Everything about this smoothie bowl was perfection!SERVICE: Service was pleasant!Milu is a humble little place but they serve quality food with a smile on their face and I definitely would return for their smoothie bowl or pancakes!

It’s been just on 9 months since Anita Mariniello and Reza Tjoeka opened their Malvern café, Milu. I was first taken by their pastel interior, which presents a fresh backdrop for the delicious food they dish up.Never mind a dish being pretty for the gram; it’s all about the flavour for me. What’s wonderful about Milu is, what I’ve tried from their menu ticks both the aesthetic and flavour boxes. My mouth was actually watering while the red velvet waffles were being cooked. The aroma that permeated the small space was reminiscent of childhood nights when nonna would make waffles for dessert. It brought back such heartfelt memories, and for this café hunter- tugging at my heartstrings via my olfactory nerve, is the greatest way to leave a lasting impression. For the record, the Red Velvet Waffles are lathered in Nutella and honeycomb, with vanilla cream cheese sandwiches between those fluffy squares of deliciousness.I did want to balance the sweet with the savoury, and I couldn’t resist the Brekky Greens.

Milu is a cute cafe with amazing food and coffee. Love the vibe and interior inside and there are a couple of outdoor tables too. The service is really friendly, they make you feel welcome and the bubbly vibe is infectious.Coffee is great and the green smoothie was so refreshing. The ginger really gives it a kick.The brekkie greens is generously portioned and super fresh. Its colourful and I loved the flavour of the charred broccoli, the slight bitterness contrasted the tangy sesame dressing perfectly.The smoothie bowl was the perfect texture. I loved the colour of the blue spirulina. The topping adds the crunchy element.Finally the jaffles, the 3 cheese and truffle oil was so good and cheesy, can you ever go wrong with cheese and truffle? Bubs thoroughly enjoyed the nutella and PB one.Will definitely go back for the amazing food and service.

Although its small, the staff are great. Anita makes a great coffee, and the eggs are always just right. Try the breakfast greens for lunch as a healthy option.

The owners are rays of bloomin’ sunshine and the coffee is just perfection! Then there is the tasteful fit-out (such lovely colours!which match the owners personalities down to the colourful print short sleeve shirts!
