Had my two impacted wisdom teeth taken out a week ago by Dr. William Mitcherling. I was so impressed. Hes very gentle and friendly. I also really had no significant pain afterwards at all. I was so shocked and anticipating more. He really knows what he is doing and cares about your comfort. I have already recommended him to family and friends.

Dr. John Joseph Mitchling is a great oral surgeon, his staff is number one. If you have to get a tooth extracted hes the best person to go to and his staff makes you feel very comfortable.

Had an extraction done today, and was super nervous… Dr Mitcherling was great! He explained everything, he has great bedside manner & very professional! He talked to me to distract me and take my mind off of what he was doing. It was a great experience, I will most definitely recommend him to my friends and family! His office staff were great as well!

I had 2 teeth extracted here, expected it to be an expensive and painful nightmare but thankfully in my case it was neither. Dr. Mitcherling has a great bedside manner that helped calm me down, and I was out the door about an hour after my appointment time. He does a great job of explaining your options and letting you know whats happening every step of the way. Reception staff were kind and helpful as well, and the dental assistants were very comforting too. Definitely recommend this place if you need dental surgery in the Baltimore area.

The worst experience ever! Staff doesn’t know each other’s names. Staff never gave us proper information. Appointment was over 2 hours due to misinformation. Office manager lacked compassion. Front office staff lacked professionalism and compassion. I wouldn’t recommend this office/business!

One of the best around!! Hes been my oral surgeon for more the 8 years. During this year especially I was able to get a appointment just like that. Best in MD in my opinion

Mitcherling and Mitcherling 1900 E. Northern Pwy in Baltimore is the best dentist surgeon in the world. If you go anywhere else you will not get the best.

Dr. Mitcherling is awesome with what he does, very knowledgeable and very very very VERY comforting, i had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed.The procedure was done with me asleep, it was my first time ever having any kind of surgery and my first time being put to sleep, Doctor Mircherling and his staff made sure i was comfortable and i was able to trust them.When I woke up i felt great, i even had to ask if they were finished already lol.After the surgery and anesthesia wore off i didn’t feel much pain at all and needed no pain medication afterwards, Dr. Mitcherling briefed me on what to expect going forward.I’d recommend him to anyone, definitely one of the nicest person I’ve ever met in my entire life.

The entire staff is so great. I only use Dr. Mitcherling for my oral surgeries. His bedside manner is so pleasant.

He is a Fabulous dentist. He’s is inexpensive and really sweet. He did 4 extractions and got me in and out in an hour. Strongly recommend.

The oral surgeon is great, took care of my first extraction very well, but their billing office doesnt know what theyre doing, and Im being billed 140 dollars for being seen for a few minutes and writing a prescription for antibiotics, when I had great dental insurance and it shouldnt have cost that much at all. I saw another oral surgeon because they couldnt schedule my appointment when I needed to be seen for the second extraction, who didnt overcharge me at all and was upfront about all her costs. Id have died if I had waited to Micherlings appointment schedule. Go see Dr. Bonnie Arroyo instead.

This place was a life saver. I was able to get seen and had work done in 1 day. When I made the appointment they asked for x-rays and was no issue, just went to my dentist and received the x-rays. Usual form filled out and was in and out in no time. Price was not bad from my insurance and was for warned about possible bill for medical check for my issue. I have been suffering with my tooth for months and now I am much better thanks to the Dr here.

Yesterday Dr. J. Mitcherling extracted tooth # 30. I had broken this tooth a couple months ago, had an exposed nerve and no general dentist would touch it. Here’s an honest review. The front desk: Moved expeditiously but didn’t put much time into being courteous. Dr. Mitch and the assistants in the back were OUTSTANDING!! They made sure I was good and comfortable, even turned the heat up in the room. Dr. Mitch covered my eyes and talked me through the entire procedure step by step. I was never surprised, nervous or wondering what I was hearing. I had to drive myself home so I was wide awake during the procedure and at no time did I feel pain. Dr. Mitcherling has great energy and thanked me just as much as I thank him!! However the Northern PKWY building is very outdated with poorly maintained restrooms. This being my only reason for not giving 5 stars. I will be seeing him at the York Rd. office going forward. That office is an all around 5 STARS!!

The receptionist lies.when I called she told me they could pull 2 teeth and Id only get charged 350.00. After they were pulled the recep tells me that they wont charge me for nitrous. Lies lies. I get a bill for 650.00. Shame the receptionist is so shady. Oral surgeon was very nice and did a good job.

I had some really bad wisdom teeth that needed to be removed, on short notice because we were moving out of state. I also had an extreme fear of needles, which was relevant because there was to be IV sedation. They did a consult before and after, and the actual surgery was performed at the Towson Surgical Center, and everything was fantastic. The anesthesiologist at Towson Surgical Center recommended something re: the anxiety which this doctor had never done before, but Dr. Mitcherling was willing to try it, and my experience was better for it. They also waited until the last possible moment to do the IV stick and were extremely accommodating. I wont call surgery a pleasant experience, but they really did everything possible to make it as painless and tolerable an experience possible. They were also very clear about after-care instructions, and there have been no issues with the healing. Thank you very much, Dr. Mitcherling, Towson Surgical Center, and staff; I would highly recommend this surgeon.
