Mokoan Rest Area (Southbound) in Benalla

Beautiful. Clean with BBQs, walking track nearby. Fantastic local artwork on the building. Just stopped in for a toilet break but would happily stay o/n.

Loved the street art! Excellent facilities, including a bbq area.

Quite a bit of shade, clean toilets (aside from bird droppings), with paper & water to wash (BYO soap). Disabled access as well.

So who would ever review a rest area? Apparently me and it’s to prevent anyone from actually driving their car into this actual cess pit of filth. The worst public toilets in the world. Absolutely disgusting. I’m only posting this so the inept local shire might do something about cleaning it up. Good place to rest

I travelled alone the Hume highway for most of my life and it is tended to every few days. I have never gone there and not once does the toilets ever run out of toot (toilet paper). Most people leave it clean and tidy, always my pit stop!.

Well-lit at night surrounds plus bright and happilly painted toilet block, well designed and a cut above your standard rest stop on the Hume.

Great views over Winton Wetlands, barbeque and clean facilities. On Christmas, Easter and long weekends you can also visit the Lions driver reviver van.

Pretty good rest area overall for public jobs , flush loos , decent parking for cars and trucks , water in the taps signed as not for human consumption so bring your own .

Trough was clean with 3 trough cakes per metre which seemed like a good ratio . Only did number 1s not 2s so cant give a reliable review.
