Motel 6 Seattle, WA - Sea-Tac Airport South in King County

This is a great place if youre looking for an affordable stay. The room was super clean and very comfortable. Staff very friendly and professional. I would definitely book another room at this place.

First of all, I dont think they deserve the bad star rating they have! Hotel room was clean, bed was comfortable and the staff were all very helpful! They even gave me a free razor when I asked for information on where I could buy one, which was great cause I hadnt shaved my armpits in weeks!!!! The only reason I dont give 5 stars is because the bed didnt feel super stable

I only used the park and fly not the hotel. The shuttle service is slow and expensive. Be prepared to sit in the airport while all the other shuttle services come and go 3 or 4 times. They lied about the frequency of pickup times we were merely an inconvenience. Never use there service again

I parked my truck there for a week. Before I left the desk I asked them for their phone number for the shuttle for when I return and noted that it was the same on the printout I brought with me. After a 12 hour day of travelling, I called at midnight, no answer. 5 more times I called , crickets. So I hailed a taxi and got to my truck $15 later. The guy at the desk, when asked about reimbursing my cost said, oh we can only do that if the van is down. ??? Junior Varsity parking lot

1. Room is clean and tidy2. Unlike any other motel around this area, unexpextedly room was being cleaned without request when we were out during the day.3. The motel accomodate “anytime” check in.4. If you don’t drive, you better reconsider your decision to stay, it’s hard to find public transport like bus or light rail.5. 36 mins walk to SEATAC airport.6. Outdoor heated pool available.7. Airport shuttle available.

Actually, I was going to give them a higher rating, but due to the following reason i cannot: Upon checkout i requested to use their airport shuttle service. Front desk told me its not available, id have to call a taxi. Thats unacceptable considering they advertise that service. Location of the motel is bad, since there is nothing nearby. Next convenience store or fast food restaurant is 30 minutes away by foot.

Upon arrival my husband and I were greeted by a front desk member who made it very obvious that she did not want to be assisting us. When making our way to our room all the doors were either broken or propped open for anyone to walk into at any time. Trash bags full of trash were periodically left in the hall and the entire hall smelt of filth/cigarettes/pot. When we made it to our room our keys didn’t work and we had to revisit the desk two times to get the keys to work. We asked for a nonsmoking room, but as we entered the room we were hit with an overwhelming smell of cigarettes. When we pulled back the blankets the bed sheets were riddled in cigarette burns, brown stains and random black long hairs. When we approached the front for clean sheets and an extra pillow we were told she could not help us because house keeping already left for the day. This forced my husband and I to go to Walmart and purchase our own sheets. The floors were filthy, the mirror covered in greasy finger/hand prints. I decided to take a shower because I was so upset about the rest of the room and was greeted by the most disgusting shower curtain. The shower curtain was obviously not changed from the last person because there were lovely green boogers smeared all over the shower curtain. This place is absolutely disgusting. The staff unhelpful. I have stayed in many motel 6 and they have always been so clean and nice. I can’t believe I actually had to pay money to stay in this nasty place. Don’t waste your money.

Never plan on staying here again! Why? First of all we were having many problems with the Wi-Fi. It would not connect and would not stay connected. It was also very slow and had a weak signal. Second, there were no rags! None at all! Which didnt make sense at all to me. Next, the light under the TV didnt work which wasnt helpful for when I was trying to do some work at the table. Also, the soap spot in the shower was all crusty and dirty. It was absolutely disgusting I had to find a different place to leave my stuff. Another thing was that they left the dumpster basically in front of the door. Thats not very professional in my opinion and it just looked bad. Also the sink would keep filling up because the plug was in but we couldnt pull it up because the thing you pull the plug up with was broken. And there were eye contacts on the table between the beds which is so gross! That tells me right there that they do not clean that and that made me question what else do they not clean? And our rooms didnt have fridges or microwaves. Another terrible thing was that they didnt tell you where your room was. We had to go around and find it which was really annoying cause that wasted time. Also there were holes in the bed sheet as if someone smoked in there they looked like smoke holes and there were multiple holes on both of the beds. The most important thing that I didnt like about it is how unsafe I felt there. I didnt feel safe leaving anything in the car and apparently a lot of cars get robbed there so no wonder I didnt feel right leaving anything important in the car. Just the vibes coming from there were not good. Please try to find a better place than this just for your safety I just dont think it is a good place to stay!

Honestly, decent room. Least expensive in the area, but have no complaints. Clean, spacious, recently updated, cool girl at the front desk who was patient with others. Good stuff.

We ordered a room with 2 queen sized beds but we got a room with 2 full sized beds. We had just stayed the night before at a motel 6 on Portland with the same room ordered and this one was much smaller. There was no fridge and the bathroom is tiny. The shower head was not working properly. But the service at the front door was great.

Basic budget motel, so, if you are not used to this prepare to be underwhelmed. If you are using this as a stranded airline traveler, I would advise that there is not much around this motel in terms of food/stores.As a road traveller from the other side of the state, this motel is useful as its within driving distance to many amenities in Tukwila and Renton. This Motel 6 is in better condition than the others I have stayed in the SEA area. No trouble from other guests during my stay. Fernando was awesome in helping when I needed to extend my stay and anything else! Thanks!

It was dirty. Looked like mold & blood on the white bed sheets. Burn holes on top blanket. Television didn’t work. Smoking rooms were very smelly. Tried another room and it was just as dirty. Entrances are all open and unlocked for public to walk through.

Allowed me to check in about three hours early and let me upgrade my room for a very small fee. The room was clean, smelled fresh, and had nice hot showers and cold AC. Not much you could ask for from a cheap motel.

The bed was comfortable, the room was sparce, but clean and the AC worked. The Motel is very close to the airport, so made it easy to catch my early morning flight. However, building appears a bit run-down, vending machines only take $1 bills (no stores nearby). Their airport shuttle needs repair.

Great clean hotel easy to get to with very reasonable rates. But found the staff in the evening that drives the shuttle bus was very verbally abusive. And a big man to boot. Made me very uncomfortable and I witnessed him treating another customer even though worse.

If you need Internet and dont have cell Internet, not a good place to stay. Oh and dont count on getting a shuttle from SeaTac airport. I called twice and got two answers, "Yes, we do. Look for island 3A and give us a call." When I called again from the airport, I got a no, so I ended up having to get an Uber. Got here, checked in with no issues, went to get connected, almost non existent wifi signal. Great...Im a business owner and do all my business online and having molasses slow Internet (when I could connectjust totally unacceptable. Oh and not to mention, the TV in room 172 was so dim, it was useless. I wish I had stayed at a different motel because this one is just horrible.If I could I wouldnt even be giving it a 1 star, thats how bad it was. Love your Kirkland motel. Ill be going back to that one when I need a cheap place to stay. Cant wait to check out on the 29th.....

Basic room as expected but burn hole on top of sheet on one bed. The housekeeper didnt see it? Blanket had holes/thin spots that could see light through. I happened to lift it up to pull up the covers and saw it. Bring your own shampoo. No blow dryer except at front desk. Staff at front desk very nice. Check other places nearby. For a few dollars more, you get more.

Terrible experience. No hotel maps, just told go on that side of the building. Wasnt told that there are multiple doors that dont work and there is only one that does. Hallways smelled of smoke and weed. Room was dirty. There were popcorn seeds and candy pieces on the floor. The room had a pet odor also. Showers took forever to warm up and when they did they kept getting hotter until it was on the lowest setting. Staff was friendly enough. Going to spend the extra money next time and stay in a nicer more well kept hotel.

Why was it excellent? Many reasons!! And they start with the staff - Fernando, Ava and Tina were all very friendly and helpful not to mention hard working in helping their guests and each other. You could see that they take pride in their work and place of work - the room was clean with a shower consisting of hot water and great pressure. The beds were very comfortable. The price is affordable and a unique feature - this Motel 6 has rooms that open up to a hallway. It is not across from the Seattle airport but to me this was better because it is out of the hustle and bustle of people/cars/airport activities BUT it is very close to the airport (less than 10 minutes if before or after work hours). It is also close to the Tukwila Station Light Rail Line which Fernando suggested parking there and riding into downtown Seattle (free parking, $5 round trip ticket and peace of mind to not deal with traffic! What a deal!! We did it twice!We flew in on a Sunday and stayed here then headed towards Totem Lake area but decided to come back for the last two nights because we really liked it at this Motel 6 and we had no regrets. Better quality than typical motels. Cleaner, better furniture, and on-demand airport shuttle runs 24 hrs a day. I did not drive and I arrived with big suitcases, so I got a 1st-floor room with indoor hall entrance. Compared to some other motels Ive been beforez I can feel safe here.

I parked my car here for a total of 5 days. After reading a lot of reviews, I was skeptical about leaving my car in an unknown place. I arrived there and the young lady at the desk was very friendly. The shuttle arrived very quickly to drop me off at the airport. When I flew back in, I called for the shuttle for pick up and it took about 20 minutes to get there. The driver was very helpful and he dropped me off right at my car. He also made sure I got into my car and waited for me to drive off. I definitely will be coming back.
