This place is amazing! The donuts are fresh. And the menu contains a great selection of options that you don’t see at other shops. Each one is drool worthy! If a menu item isn’t your style, you can easily customize your donut(sto include what ever it is you want. The staff is always friendly and patient. I could easily put away enough donuts to increase my belt size without thinking twice. It’s a little dangerous. But how can you say no to something so delicious? Best donuts in northern utah! Better than any chain! My wife says they’re even better then …..flowers!

I don’t even know where to start.. our experience at Mountain Donuts was beyond exceptional! From the amazing smell when you walk in to the outstanding customer service you get from not only the employees but from the owners themselves just blew us away! They were so welcoming and so sweet to our daughter. They let her create her own fairy donut from scratch choosing the colors of everything and she was OBSESSED with the outcome!! The choices are endless and the outcome is always the same, perfect, delicious and beautiful every time! Our family will be back and we cant wait!!💕🍩

We tried this place for the first time today. I am never going to another donut place again! This is 100% the only donut shop I am ever going to again. They are so dang cheap too!! 100% recommend to everyone

Ive had more doughnuts in my life than Id like to admit, but these doughnuts are hands down the best doughnuts Ive ever had in my life! I can not rave enough about them!! So delicious! Based on customer service alone, I would be back to this place. Picked up a catering order for a wedding and was not disappointed in the donuts. One of the owners greeted me when I walked in and was the nicest person. The rest of the staff were equally as nice. Worth the drive for me from salt lake. Thanks again!

We went there yesterday for my wifes 50th Birthday. Mind you she only gets donuts on her birthday, so this is a big deal. And in the last 5 years we cannot give a good review for any of them. So we were shocked at not only how GREAT the donuts tasted but how EXTREMELY we loved the customer service. We RV full time and this location on Oct 12th gave us the best experience weve had since hitting the road. EVERY single employee waited on us and MADE sure we were 100% HAPPY. Thank you for being the BEST!! I am so grateful to the staff yesterday, they made not only our day but our year!!....

Staff was amazing! Friendly, energetic and they were confident enough in their product they didnt even wince when I asked if they were any good. They offered me a sample! Warm, gooey maple topped fresh donught that was absolutely amazing! Thank you. Sadly, I havent been back to that part of town to get more yet, but I will be soon!

Pretty meh in my opinion. Their donuts are super cute, but for the cost the taste was just not worth it at all. Guess I’m sticking to the donuts from Lee’s or Smith’s.

Stopped by to get donuts for my job this morning. The gentleman upfront greeted us as soon as we stepped in. He walked us through how to create our own donut and showed us the variety they had. The smell when you walk in was so amazing I felt like I could stay in for hours. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. The atmosphere here is so gentle. The donuts themselves taste out of this universe. They’re so pretty it’s difficult to choose which one to eat (if you even want to eat it because how pretty they are.There is no doubt in my mind that I will be back as well as tell everyone I know to stop by.

We had so many compliments on our refreshments at the wedding and the leftovers were also so delicious! I love mountain donuts. Cute little local owned donut shop. A little more expensive than the usual places, but worth it… especially when supporting local small businesses. Their donuts are to die for!

We came in 20 minutes before close and the lights were already off but they took us with no issue. The guy working was SO sweet with my kids and matched their enthusiasm with their donut choices. Donuts were fantastic especially for end of the day. We came from out of town otherwise would frequently be back!

We ordered a half dozen simple donuts ahead online and let me tell you they were AMAZING! We got 6 different flavors Lemon, Blueberry, Maple, Peanut butter, Chocolate, and Glaze. We HIGHLY recommend the blueberry glaze that was our favorite, but the rest of them were good too!

Delicious!Our family travels to the Outer Banks in North Carolina often and one of the highlights of our trip is to an east coast donut franchise called Duck Donuts (it’s called that because it started in Duck, NC, which is on the Outer Banks). Every time I’d come back home to Utah I’d lament about not being able to get them here…..until I discovered Mountain Donuts!As far as I know Mountain Donuts is not affiliated with Duck Donuts, but they are very similar. They serve delicious, fresh cake donuts and I love all the topping choices. They have fast, friendly service and the prices are fair. I definitely recommend a visit…the donuts are fun and delicious.

Such a fun experience. We realized we got to pick our own toppings and glaze, etc! They were fast and super friendly. The store had a nice, cozy seating area (felt more like a tea shop than uncomfortable plastic benches at fast food placesand even a cute kids table and blanket in the corner with stuffed animals. Not going to lie I had higher expectations with the reviews I saw. Im pretty practical and this is Donut Stop number 68 across the country... I enjoy checking donut places out that arent your run-of-the-mill franchises.I base my review off of 5 basic criteria, flavor of the bread itself, frosting richness, aftertaste, if they mastered a basic maple bar and cost.The bread alone tastes okay I guess. I guess that they are going for more of a biscuit/cronut texture and taste. Basically just like Duck Donuts only crispy. It tastes like a box of old fashioned donuts from a grocer covered with decent frosting. They have a rich frosting which helps but the donut is a cheap, odd-flavored scone I think would be better served alone with BBQ like cornbread. It just doesnt hit the mark. Not by a long shot.Cost was not horrible but not worth what I tasted. Ended up throwing away 3 of the 4 I bought.To the owners: if youre ever in Richmond, VA, stop off in Petersburg outside of town, visit Beaunuts. The texture, flavor and crisp donut youre aiming for is an art form there. Give it a try and see why I have a hard time with yours.

This is a nice little donut shop who specializes in cake donuts. The donuts are a well balanced mix of light and fluffy without the guilt. Customer service is fast and friendly. This place has a very calm and home like mood. The coffee is also good. The price is more on the pricey end but worth it. I highly recommend this place and will be a returning customer! :)

Usually donuts are just ok, but we got a coupon and my daughter wanted to go so we did. They are the BEST donuts weve ever had! The donut itself is fresh, soft on the inside with a bit of crunch to the crust. Then the toppings are customized and high quality. Well definitely be going back, it was a real treat.

So so soooooo good! We stopped and grabbed a dozen of the staff favorite donuts for my sons birthday. They are so creative and fun. It was an easy ordering process and a quick pick up. You can create and top your own donuts or order off the menu. They are more of a cake like consistency, and just plain delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a better donut.

All the donut shop lobbies are closed due to Covid, which is weird considering that I can go into 7-11 and get a stale Homer donut. Id rather have a fresh one, but I understand the owners concern for employee safety. So my rating is based on not being able to go inside. I will go back and update this review later. In the meantime, please support ALL local businesses. They need all the support they can get.

Welcome to the only place you will ever want to get cake donuts from!!!Starting with the adorable building there is just something that draws you in. Then the drive up window seriously so adorable. While there is a picture menu they will hand you a plastic coted menu where you can choose the donuts you would like or create your own!! Not even kidding create your own donuts!!!I might have had way to much fun not only picking from the pre-designed ones but creating my own.In the donut pictures you will see the owner bringing out the donut of the day - oh my happiness by far the most amazing donut I have ever had - it had a cream cheese sweet type of frosting with the freshest most mouth watering fruits on top.The next box are the 4 donuts I created and yes one of them have Lucky Charms on top (that was my favorite of these 4)The final one is at the window - mostly because I wanted a picture this way : how to cute is the cookie monster donut!!!This is such a wonderful place with such great people I can not recommend it enough!!!

This place is awesome and has probably the best doughnuts in town. You can create your own doughnuts here and wait for them to make them. They also have themed types like Valentines Day, Independence Day, and Halloween. Always a good day when I start it here!

Really yummy donuts!! Nice crunch on the outside and crazy soft on the inside! Fun creating your own experience with glaze flavors, toppings and drizzle flavors. Vanilla icing, Oreo crumbs and white chocolate drizzle is a must!! They even made Spiderman donuts for my boys.

If you’re looking for delicious gourmet fresh donuts with gluten free options! this is the place!! The only reason I gave these guys 4 stars was that they got some of the order wrong. But we all enjoyed everything! My son especially requested donuts for his 16th birthday rather than the traditional cake and it worked out perfectly! Friendly staff too!!

Had such a fun experience creating our own donuts or choosing from the shop’s favorite donut creations. The kids had so much fun watching their donuts being made right at the counter. Super fresh and delicious donuts, and just a cute and fun store with friendly and helpful staff. 🍩Definitely loves the Paulie and the Lemoncello, but they all look and taste delicious, you really can’t go wrong! These are by far the best cake donuts I’ve eaten! ❤️The drive through is open due to COVID restrictions, but they make your donuts so quickly and it’s worth the short wait in your car! Our favorites are the PAULIE and the kids love the Unicorn and Spider-Man. You can’t go wrong creating your own too! So good!

This place is awesome! The donuts were warm and fresh and made to order. The staff was friendly. We loved all the options and want to go back to try more. The cinnamon sugar was our favorite, but the Oreo was a close second. Thanks for the yummy treat. We will definitely be back .

Mountain Donuts is so fun and yummy! I grabbed an assortment of donuts from their menu to take home to my family and we all loved them! The staff was friendly too! Next time I’ll have to take the kids with me. It would be fun for them to watch the staff make their own donuts!

I can see why this place is so highly rated. I normally don’t like cake donuts; however these are an exception. They’re exceptionally good and I love that you can customize your donut any way you like. There’s just enough room inside to eat and it was very clean, staff was very friendly too.

This is such a fun place! They custom make your donuts, so you order what you want, and then can watch them make it through the glass! Very fun for kids :The donuts are the perfect cake donuts, and the shop atmosphere is fun. All of the employees were incredibly kind and helpful. Great place to come for a treat!

My fiance and I went in to get donuts and it was one of the best experiences weve had. They make fresh donuts throughout the day. The donuts were crisp on the outside and soft, light and fluffy on the inside. Theyre gourmet donuts and usually made to order so the frosting was warm and fresh. All different types of flavors and toppings to chose from. The couple that owns the shop were extremely sweet and helpful from start to finish. They were very friendly and answered all of our questions. By far the best donut shop Ive been to.

These guys are mega friendly and the donuts are delicious! I love when I can stop by because it cheers up my whole family. Being able to make up your own toppings is awesome too. And they still come out fast after you order. Glad to have them around!

This is based strictly on the facts that they are open Sunday which is a huge plus in Utah, and that the staff was super friendly. I wish I could give more info or a review but they specialize in CAKE donuts. It looks like they are good and they have a HUGE variety of toppings. This would be an awesome place to bring kids. However for me a donut is raised dough so the cake idea is not what I was looking for so I didnt have one. I hope they are successful and branch out a bit it seems like a great business.
