Tea and cakes .cosy place. Fine selection of cakes and rolls ,first class food .a little expensive.

Have visited a couple of times recently - always a lovely welcome from the friendly staff. Tasty food, lovely coffee and muffins always super fresh and great flavours!

A very nice cafe. Their Mud Cake is good. They do the best muffins in Newport. Nice toppings and always really fresh.

Very disapointed after many years of visiting this place.Asked for 2 chicken and bacon toasties.They arrived with cheese in and one with hardly any filling. My wife is dairy intolerant so could not eat hers. ( nothing displayed on package to say cheese..sign just said Chicken and bacon )I returned mine as there was hardly any chicken or bacon in itVery poor

They have nice place to sit and enjoy evenings or mornings coffees with wide range of cakes and deserts. The price is worth for the product.

Amazing place with amazing staff, come here a lot and no trouble anytime. The only ready I didnt give it 5 stars is the fact that birds do tend to fly in to the coffee every so often, again this is not coffee corners fault however it doesnt put the best picture in your head while enjoying your coffee.

It was busy when I visited but the staff were friendly and efficient, with the queue moving quickly. A nice choice of drinks are available as well as a good selection of snacks and cakes.

Coffee and food is nice. The stuff sometimes could be a little bit nicer but it is a good place to enjoy a coffee.

Lovely coffee comfy seats good service but the toasted paninis are rather tasteless and lack garnish and crisps that are usually supplied by competitors. We shared two different ones, chicken jalfrezi, and chicken and chorizo both substandard.

Had a choc chip gluten free muffin. Awesome.Lovely, soft, moist. Probably the best one Ive ever had

There is nothing in the world better than a Coffee Corner Toasted Breakfast Bagel. Perfectly panini-crisp on the outside, then you sink into the soft cheese and egg, and then you hit bacon. Its flippin transcendent.

Lovely coffee in big cups accompanied by a delicious brownie big enough for 2. Friendly staff, plenty of room inside and out.

Very clean despite being a busy day (Newport marathon and 10kvery quickly served and all staff were extremely friendly and chatty. Cake was stunning as was the hot chocolate

Giving two stars only, because the person who prepared my cup of coffee had extremely dirty hands and nails. Personal hygiene is really important when you serve food and drinks.

What a beautiful place for tea break. Just exploded it while strolling around. Beautiful place just at the corner in shopping mall. Nice atmosphere, cool staff n service is good. Everything was soo soo delicious cake, muffin, chai latte & cup of tea, just brilliant. Thanks for the quality time i spent there. Recommended

Had two muffins here this afternoon, great service and both muffins were fantastic.Id go more often if I lived closer tbh.

Bit of a wait to be served as busy, but not to bad. Service was pleasant and friendly. Covid-19 measures in place, tables cleaned after each use. Good selection of refreshments to eat in or take away.

1st visit and very enjoyable. Easy to sit in and very clean. All staff followed social distancing. Lovely cappuccino and a ham,cheese n tomato croissant, which was toasted really nice. Will defo return

We had coffee and hot chocolate which was very nice, but i would like to bring your attention to your cleanliness, when a customer got up from a table that table was not cleaned for the nrxt customer, one table was rubbed round with a cloth no spray just whiped and her apron was dirty and she was servng food, not a very nice experience i think you ought to raise your game as most of us are trying to keep covid at bay

Well today was a special day for myself and my partner as we had got engaged. After leaving jeffries jewellery shop we decided to pop into muffin break for a coffee and cake. We were greeted by two unfriendly young girls who were serving, the smaller one stating straight away that there was no hot food being served, that was fine as it was 5pm, we ordered two lattes and two cakes, we were then informed by the smaller young girl that she was only excepting card payment, to which my partner replied I only have cash to which she rolled her eyes and said "OK cash then". My partner asked for a certain slice of cake and once again she rolled her eyes, very very rude, neither had no manners! The cake were both very dry.. The whole experience was appauling, and I will never go in there again. Thanks

I just bought a fabulous vegan muffin, and cant believe how delicious it was. And, Im so glad that the lovely lady behind the counter convinced me to buy three! 😁😁😁yum thanks 😁👍🏻

My tea and fruit bread was fine but on asking for dairy free spread was told by manager that noone asks for it so dont have it to which i commented that considering you sell vegan goods you should have vegan spread i was offered jam which i think i paid for .not sure if all muffin breaks dont have spread but is something that should be in all muffin breaks.

Good size seating area, clean and tidy. Milk shakes very tasty. Tried a choc chip muffin which they warmed up but found it rather bland and dry which was disappointing. Atmosphere a little bland too, quite sparsely fitted out so felt a little ‘cold’.

Very bland toasted sandwich,no garnish. They need to raise their game and serve it with a few crisps or salad garnish. Couldnt even hear my husband when some noisy person was emptying the dish washer.

Cakes were great. Coffee was great. Did go at the end of the day so staff seemed worn out. But pleasant nevertheless.

Disappointing visit. My coffee cake was dry and lacking in coffee flavour. My small flat white made up for it, however, with a nice medium flavour.

Never very impressed with their sandwiches or coffee tbh. Quite tasteless and stale on my last visit. Not sure I would go here again. Its also very noisy due to the coffee machine and echoey design.

Amazing coffee and even better sweets. Really buggy friendly as well if you have a little one.

Our dedicated coffee stop when at Friars Walk always top quality food with lovely lovely staff. Well paced next to Debenhams kind of a nid way point.

Visited Thursday evening and at least they were open unlike the other coffee shops and the coffee was OK. My chocolate chip muffin was dry and I only ate half of it. My wife ordered toasted cake and this went cold while waiting for the drinks to be made. My wifes hot chocolate came without the cream and marshmallow paid for and had sloped over the side of the cup. It was cold an uninviting inside. Would we go back? No.

My favourite place in Wales for coffee and cake. Really nice mocha coffee and the muffins are always tasty and fresh. If you see it a duffin is a must they are so good

I really like the muffin break, the staff are really friendly, they are happy to help you out on matter what. They have a lovely select of food and drink on offer, the prices?? Well to be honest it matches the rest of the coffee shop around. You have to go and have a look to see what you think. But I must say I do like it myself, as I always go in there when I am in town

Great customer service , senior manager appeared to be at the till point setting a great example for the team, asking about rewards cards, greeting every customer with morning and being very attentive. store was clean and tidy and coffee was brilliant, will return again. Vast improvement on previous visit.

Over priced cheese & Ham toasty £3.85 waited 20 mins and came burnt and dry horrible what a waste of money.The piccolo latte was ok but just awful service and food.

Dont think much of their food, cakes look good I opted for a bacon roll, wasnt a good choice, I was in there 20 mins before a young girl decides to clear 1 table only when there are at least 10 other dirty ones.

Food was dry/burnt,Tea pots leak everywhere, which is dangerous.Overall hygiene is appalling with tables having dirty dishes on them for hours before finally being moved, Cutlery was dirty to the point of it having food still on them from previous customers, and the service is slow and I enthusiastic.Overall appalling.
