Sold a truck without a title or inspection done, now after 4 trips in for recalls and faults its "our problem" because truck is too rusty because its from canada...they sold it this way...its got 34k on it...bought it with less. Do not buy here, especially if a single female

There was a little confusion with my appointment at first, they didnt think they could get me in but ended up getting me in. My door wouldnt open and they diagnosed and fixed it for me at the and time. My door opens now.
Sales Rep Young Jones was amazing. She listened to everything I wanted, helped me into the truck I wanted and kept constant communication throughout the entire process of ordering from the factory.
My vehicle was taken in for warranty repair 8 weeks ago, hasn’t been touched since the day I dropped it off even though every time I’ve called to check on it I’ve been told they’re “starting it tomorrow”. At this point the service department has had my truck longer than I have.
The service was nice and friendly, even if the person I would normally see was bust there was never a wait, heck they even came outside to meet me before i went it. It was my first sports car so i had a lot of questions and the employee with me had driven it before so he knew almost everything about the vehicle in question. Since i was unused to a sports car i thought the transmission was a little loud so i sent it back and they were nice enough to explain that it was a normal sound. I would normally recommend this specific dealership to anyone looking for a car but the one catch for me was that they were farther away BUT i was willing to drive that far and would be again.
I had scheduled for my car to have an oil change/tire rotation and alignment. However 3 days later, on the day of my appointment, I am told that the technician doing the alignment is busy on another service, and that I have top reschedule for the alignment. My oil did get changed, however my tires were not rotated, even though I was told they were and I was charged for it. My vehicle was not up front waiting for me though I was contacted and told it was ready. I had to wait for the advisor to go get it.I have another appointment today and I hope the rotation will be done and all the services completed thoroughly and professionally.UPDATE:The dealership did take care of the rotation.I have since taken my two vehicles for service and there have been no issues. I’ve been pleased with the service provided and the staff has kept me updated on the work completed, the status of the parts needed. So far the first appointment seems to be the exception rather than the norm.
While the average person may hear about some of the horror stories associated with purchasing a vehicle, I can honestly say that my experience at Murdock Chevrolet was hands down the most positive and painless vehicle purchasing experience Ive ever had. All of the staff that I interacted with (Alex, Joe, Tom, Gio, and Younghad the perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness. They explained every step of the process along the way and made sure that I was comfortable during the entire process of purchasing a 2022 Silverado 2500. They exemplify the true meaning of customer service and teamwork. Kudos to you all!

The service department use to be really good, but over the last year they have gone downhill. I brought my car in last year for it overheating. I was told 2 parts needed to be replaced but they didn’t have the parts in stock. 3 days later I get a call saying that they discovered 2 other parts that needed to be replaced. $$$$I brought my car in again recently for another issue. I had to wait a week to get an appointment and then, Was told 2 parts needed to be replaced. On the phone I was told it would be $600, when I came in to talk about it, all the sudden the cost was $700, but that doesn’t include the diagnostic fee, so $800. When I asked for an itemized list of the quote, the advisor wrote it on the back of his business card. They quoted me $400 on parts alone, $300 more than other stores. They didn’t have the parts in stock (againand said even if the parts came in the next day, they wouldn’t be able to fix it for another week.I decided to bring the car to another shop, even though I had already paid Murdock to diagnose the problem. The other shop said Murdock’s diagnosis was wrong. So basically, I paid Murdock $110 to misdiagnose my car.Murdock rips off their customers. Literally go anywhere else but here to get your car fixed.**Update- The service manager contacted me to apologize for the service I received and offered me a refund of the diagnostic fee. I’m not sure if there is a new manager (as some of the reviews of the service manager have been very negative), but I found that he was respectful and apologetic and is really taking an interest in improving the Service Departments customer service. **
Sales representative was extremely nice and went out of his way to make sure we got what we needed. Delivery guys were nice and profesional. Great team to work with!!! Gio & Alex have been great about reaching out to us!!
The sales person, Andrew Tomb worked with me on all issues for many months with questions on the purchase of my C8 Corvette. He was always kind and easy to work with.Very nice and knowledgeable. When we picked up the car at the dealership Andrew spent over two hours with me to make sure all was set up on the car, and I understood how to operate the car before I drove it home.

After being told they had parts to fix my vehicle due to a safety recall. We left our vehicle over night just to receive a phone call saying they did not have the parts to fix my vehicle.

My battery died, I had my car towed to the dealership and they squeezed me in their busy schedule and replaced my batter. They offered their courtesy driver to take me to work. Very accommodating and friendly.
The sales woman we had was just bloody brilliant ! Young I believe was her name she gave my daughter a toy and that was it ! But even before that she was so kind to my family and my non boundary understanding baby !

The mechanics said my brothers truck would be done two weeks ago and it hasn’t even moved on the lot. Not only that, but disrespected him when he called. Very unprofessional, terrible customer service, and will never recommend to use any of their services. Avoid this dealership at all costs.

Absolute garbage. They said the oil change would take 1.5 hours! Crazy wait time for an oil change. After TWO AND A HALF HOURS of waiting I asked what was going on. The guy said he didnt have enough techs and that my car hasnt even been looked at.. no notice or mention until I asked! What a worthless excuse for service. Avoid coming here at all cost.

While my husbands truck was in for an oil change, he asked them to run a diagnostic check for why his "check engine" light was on. Without any kind of warning or explanation, we were charged $100 just to check the light! This same service is offered at local auto parts stores - for free. They could have at the very least told him what the charge would be before running it...
Had a 12:30 appointment for an oil change today (Thursday 7/9). I got a $20 off coupon in my email amd was able to use it. I was a little confused when I arrived. I saw another car in the pull up bay (what you do for service at the El Paso dealerso I got behind them. The guy who checked me in, was busy with another customer. When he was finished he seemed annoyed that I hadnt pulled up. Mayne he wasnt, thats just what I read from body language. I was just waitong for direction! Well I unload my toddler and baby and we waited. 20 minutes later my car is still in the bay. The oil change took 2 hours. All of us were hungry and stuck. The baby was the only one who ate before we left. Ugh, never again. I dont care how simple of a servoce it is...Im asking for a loaner!!! The service cost me $8.99 which blows my mind but honestly...I would have paid full price to be out in 30 mins.
On June 2 the service department was supposed to change my tires… This took them from 7:30 AM until 6 PM to finish the job… On top of that I lost one lug nut within the first week and had to tighten 5 others because they were loose and about to fall off. Terrible experience and they don’t communicate at all.
I love this company. My original car officially died on me (needed a new engineand figured why not get a new car instead of throwing all of my money into just replacing the engine (2001 Chevy Malibu). When all of the other companies told me they couldnt help me, Murdock Manhattan said they would!!Young Jones took care of me. She drove all the way to my house (in the 2016 Chrysler Town and Countryand picked me up to sign paperwork! She even let me test drive it!! Young Jones is truly an angel. She made sure I had reliable transportation for me and my family! I would recommend this company over and over again. If I have a problem, they are always happy to help. Purchased a new 2021 Silverado with Murdock. We worked with Frank during the whole process from test drive to signing and he ensured we had the best experience possible. When they did not have the exact truck we were looking for they continued to search and provide us with options. Eventually they find us the perfect truck and then got it delivered to their lot. They did more than most dealerships have when it came to getting the price to a reasonable amount and have us a fair to better trade in value on our other vehicle, and we could not be happier with the new vehicle and experience.We also have gotten services done at this dealership over the years (oil changes mostlyand have not had a single issue with them or their team. They have never tried to nickel and dime us like several other local shops have (Burnettsand done timely and good work. Overall experiences with Murdock is definitely above average.

We were passing through town, visiting family, when our 16 Silverado (towing a 7000+lb travel trailerhad a check engine light come on. The service dept communicated every step of the way, explained the diagnostic steps taken, provided tiers of options that they could try to rectify the issue and were transparent about the costs associated. It turned out that the Turbo needed to be replaced ($$$). They ordered/received the part quickly, got the job done and worked with our warranty provider to collect payment. Fast, efficient and friendly. Special shout out to Angela for taking such good care of our situation. Phenomenal customer service!
Went to look at a used Ford truck on their lot. Great people to work with. We bought the truck for a great price. They gave us a good value for our trade in. They do not negotiate much on their pricing, but the price was already below the trucks value.
This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had with any company. I made an appointment three weeks in advance and after dropping my car off, I received a call 4 hours later saying my car wouldn’t be able to be worked on for 3 more weeks. When I went in to speak with Mark, a member of their service department, he treated me extremely rudely and even laughed when I was asking questions. Once the man who was with me asked a question, he started being very respectful. Allowing clearly sexist people to head your customer service isn’t a great move!
Very impressed. Called this morning and they were able to get me in this afternoon for an oil change. To top it off it was $25 cheaper than my dealership in Texas. Almost worth driving up to get it done.
We were very pleased with the entire family of Murdock Motors of Manhattan. Our saleperson, Luis Urena, was very patient and understanding of our wants and needs. There was never any pressure to purchase a vehicle, and when we decided to make our purchase; the entire staff made certain that vehicle was available. Also, after our purchase, Luis has kept in contact to make certain we are please with our vehicle. The service department is second to none too. They are very accommodating, and also very friendly. We certainly will be return customers to Murdock Motors.
I bought my truck here in 2015 and have brought my vehicles here for service since. Very happy with the dealership, Mark and his staff in the service department are competent and friendly, prices are fair, and they get work done quickly. I dont know a lot about working on cars, so it is nice to have a dealership I trust to be fair and take good care of my vehicles.
I did not buy my Chevrolet Silverado from here. However, I did get it serviced here.After taking it to Briggs (a 2016, with 18k miles, still under full warrantythey wanted me to sign a pre-authorization for a $100 charge if they decided it wasnt a warranty issue. I called Murdock and they were much more pleasant. Made a same day appointment and dropped the truck off. My service airbag light was on. I handed them the keys. Nothing to sign, nothing to worry about.An hour later, they call me back saying that it is ready to be picked up. Problem resolved, warranty covered it. Never had to worry about possibly paying $100 or more. Never going to Briggs again.Thanks, Josh!
I RECOMMEND BEYOND ANYTHING!This is the second vehicle that my husband and I bought from Jon Murdock Chevrolet and both of our experiences have been beyond exceptional. The first time we went in was when we bought our pickup truck and I have to say I was definitely not an easy customer. I was very particular about what I wanted and wouldnt budge despite it being unrealistic. But despite it, our salesperson handled the situation like a pro and made it work out in the end as now we have a truck we are both BEYOND HAPPY with! Our most recent experience at Murdock was a little over a month ago when we got a new Chevrolet Cruze. The whole crew was extremely helpful and informative as far as the vehicle goes and even about how it would benefit me to upgrade. At the time I had a very broken down VW that just kept breaking down and was really not worth putting more money into. I was at my ends with it and was really unsure about buying a new vehicle. But the sales and finance department made sure that the car I got was financially good and made me happy as a new car owner. Result? Im beyond happy with the advice, expertise, guidance, and assistance provided. Everyone experiences things and places differently in their own way but one thing to remember is to never get into something thinking negatively since then youll overthink even the insignificant. Just make the most out of the experience because its an enjoyable one especially here at this specific dealership. So thank you Murdock for making my experience a memorable one.

I recently purchased a 2017 Chevy Spark. I felt as if the salesman was working to get me the best deal. Not only did a get a good price for the car and my trade but I was offered additional incentives such as a rebate and bonus tag. I left there feeling as if I got a good deal.
I believe that the issues with my tire have been resolved. The service department had to order a part for the lane change indicator and will notify me when it arrives.Both the service department employees who signed in my SUV and especially the service mechanic who resealed the tire were very informative and were able to explain some of the inconsistencies I thought existed but did not.5 stars !!!!
Dont go there for service especially if you have an electric car!!! Over a period of two weeks my car has been towed into their service shop three times and my bill continues to go up while my car has yet to be fixed. The first time I was charged just for them to charge my battery and have it die right after I picked it up. The second time they charged me for a new battery which apparently is not the problem either and now I just had it towed a third time because the car this time shut down while I was driving which is a scary and dangerous. On top of it all I have been stranded without a car for two weeks and they wont offer me a shuttle ride to pick up my car because I am outside city limits.(They were helpful in giving me a ride the third time and setting me up with a loner vehicle which has eased my frustration and has gained them a star. I just really hope they figure out the problem with my car this time.)
