My Bookstore in Gemeente Amsterdam

Popped in for a hot chocolate whilst cycling to the Johan Cruijff ArenA and immediately fell in love with the place, staff were friendly and welcoming, the ambiance was cosy and the hot chocolate was amazing. Would visit everyday if I lived in Amsterdam (I live in London)

Wonderfull store with a wilde variety of books. Great coffee and the most delicious lemon meringuepie in town made by lovely people!!

Small local bookstore that also allows reading, and provides a workspace, and a cafe. Friendly staff, and worth supporting as a local store. Ive also noticed that they have an evening book club.

Prettige plek om lekker te eten en werken. Veel licht en chille muziek. Enige minpunt dat ik kan vinden is dat het personeel soms zelf hardop filmpjes aan het kijken is op telefoon of niets zegt van anderen die dat doen.

Wow what a gem of a place . Great coffee , good breakfast options and they really sell books. It is quite unique and well worth a visit. Take a stroll down the books and you will see some reviews from the Richard on the books which are well worth the read as well :)

Wat een ongelooflijk fijne plek; Service met hoofdletters, lieve mensen, heerlijk eten. Een Parel van een initiatief en uitvoering waar het niet draait om commercie maar om oprecht iets toe willen voegen.

Tolles, leckeres Frühstück und eine sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Pretty quite, suitable for work

Un accueil tout en douceur, une ambiance apaisée. La carte est délicieuse, on est parfaitement conseillé sur les portions pour ne pas gâcher. Une excellente adresse !

Friendly and beautiful environment. Nice scenary. A nice place to come and read a book/ study / buy a book. The food was delicious and definitely worthy it of visiting.

Called in for a nice relaxing breakfast and didnt disappoint. The Amsterdam breakfast was absolutely delicious served up with Nespresso coffee. The atmosphere was fantastic and relaxing and the staff were lovely.

Erg mooie winkel en erg leuk personeel. Er kan hier gewerkt worden met je laptop. En genieten van heerlijke onbijt/lunch

Normaal schrijf ik geen reviews maar ik zie toevallig onderstaande review van de jongen die zegt dat de werkneemster onbeschoft en niet professioneel was. Toevallig heb ik het gesprek gevolgd en de werkneemster was JUIST heel aardig, professioneel en begripvol. Dat deze jongen zelf vindt dat hij in een werkcafe zijn eigen eten/drinken kan nuttigen is geen reden om de bookstore en de werknemers af te branden op Google.

Leuke cafe, je kan er lekker eten en eventueel ook studeren, alleen jammer dat er vandaag 21-09-2018 om 13.40 een heel onprofessioneel werknemer aanwezig was, ze vroeg aan mij of ik niet genoeg geld had om wat te kopen en dat dit geen bibliotheek was maar een cafe waarschijnlijk omdat ik mijn eigen flesje water aan het drinken was of ze had der dag niet... in ieder geval, vond ik haar vraagstelling heel apart. Heel onbeschoft en niet professioneel gedrag. Nergens staat dat je wat moet kopen om daar te kunnen zitten.

Interessant concept met café en boekwinkel. De sfeer is er heel fijn. Als je van boeken houdt en geniet van koffie, zou je echt eens hier moeten komen.

Ik was met vrienden langs geweest om wat koffie te drinken, maar we zijn toen achter gekomen dat het ook een boekenwinkel was. We vonden het een super leuke plek, service was goed. We zijn zeker van plan om nog een keer langs te gaan met vrienden. Ik ben er echt tevreden over!

Great reception by hosts, fast internet connection and beautiful open space to work quietly. Adds value to the neighbourhood.
