New China Express in King County
Privilege
Basic American Chinese. No surprises here. Food quality is as expected. The people are very nice and they are quick with pick up and delivery. Our family tends to get the green barley noodles with chicken, pot stickers, general Tsao chicken and broccoli beef. Its always tasty.
MoreOh wow, this food is delicious! Highly recommend! Garlic prawns and almond chicken, comes with some huge portions too. Theres no tracking with delivery orders tho but the food is on point
MoreOnce the best Chineses food in Medford. They have lost their way! The quality of the meat, the sauces. It must be a different owner or chef.
MoreMy favorite Chinese food spot in town. Seriously amazing; the location and ambiance might not be the best, but every single food item is so delicious that it couldnt matter less. I am so glad theyre back!!!
MoreNice people, nice restaurant with AMAZING food.
Amazing food and staff is very friendly and fast! I drove 20 min more to eat at this location.
MoreThis is solid Chinese American food, which is actually tough to find in Seattle. The cashew chicken, veggie delight, and Wonton soup are my favorites. My partner is a fan of the sesame chicken. The portions are huge and the folks that run the place are lovely. Magnolia is lucky to have this local gem.
MoreExcellent food!! So many choices. The owners are very nice and the service is quick. A hidden gem for sure.
MoreNew to area. Great food with a huge portion. Value is so worth it. Very friendly. Worth the stop to order take out and take it home.
MoreSo, so, SO happy to see New China Express is open again!! Ive been missing their veggie hand shaven noodles like nothing else for the last year or so - they are an absolute must buy, genuinely one of the tastiest dishes I have ever eaten. I also got the salt and pepper tofu - HUGE portion, had enough to share and some for leftovers. This was also delectable- crispy, slightly spicy, savory, and served with garlic and green onions. My partner got the szechuan chicken which they ate gleefully (I dont eat meat so I cant say how good it was, but they really enjoyed it). Everything was piping hot, fresh and ready SO fast!! Delighted that NCE is open again - go support this local gem right now!!
MoreBest takeout Chinese Ive found so far in Seattle. Excellent fried rice! So glad to see you guys reopened!
MoreWorst Chinese food Ive had in years. Mix vegetables tofu was cabbage, broccoli and tofu and the vegetables were beyond over cooked and the dish tasted like oil no flavor at all. Vegetable chow mein, was cabbage and broccoli also, no flavor and too much oil. Vegetable fried rice the exact same cabbage and broccoli. Absolutely disgusting. On top of this when I was emailing the receipt to myself the guy keep canceling it when I informed him twice I needed a receipt. What the heck is wrong with these people.
MoreWe get take out from here on Fridays every few weeks. Classic Chinese American food done well.
MoreThis is the best Chinese American food I’ve ever had! We have been getting takeout from here for years! Favorite dishes: beef and broccoli, Mapo tofu, cashew chicken, pork fried rice, and curry chicken!! Fast and friendly!!!
MoreGreat food, never disappointed, always nice and fast. They have a very good style that is not always identical to other Chinese places. They just make everything right, so if you do not like something pick something else.
MoreFood was good and the delivery was fast. When the food arrived, it was still super hot. When Im back in town Im definitely coming back.
MoreThis is the take out place. I havent had an item that was less that fantastic yet. Try the hand shaven noodles and the sweet and sour chicken.
MoreBeen ordering takeout from here for years, ever since they first opened. Quality can sometimes fluctuate, but always good. But last Friday night, around 6:30pm picked up a kung pao tofu and shrimp barley hand shave noodles, and both were incredibly well made! Perfect textures and flavors. Dont know if it was a different cook or what.
MoreMassive portions for what you pay! Decent food too. They keep their fried dishes crispy, which is HUGE!
MoreThis place is in my top-five favorite places in Seattle. I recently moved to Albuquerque and every time I order Chinese food here I think of how good New China Express was and am filled with sadness.Dont sleep on this place, folks. Its delicious.
MoreMy go-to Chinese delivery place. Delivery often takes less than 10 min, and the servings are HUGE. I just wish there was an option to order a half-serving of rice instead of a whole one! (I once tried to ask this over the phone, but there was a translation issue, I think. This is by no means a critique of the owners, though!Definitely recommend!!!
MoreThis place is an awesome spot. Delicious food and amazing service. Their service really showed when I noticed that they cut an air vent in our takeout container to keep our Sesame Chicken from steaming. Kept it really crispy even when we got home! Highly recommend this place.
MoreVery dependable takeout/delivery, always ready quickly. Hand-shaved noodles and barley-green potstickers are as good as Ive had anywhere, including the SF area where I grew up. Love the Shanghai-style chow mein, too; its been hard to find since my favorite SF restaurant closed.
MoreThis is the worst Chinese food I have e ever had, I ordered General Tso Chicken it was cold, Almond chicken has no Almonds and comes plastic tub of goo, sweet and sour Pork has no sweet and sour sauce I called to have them fix the order and they made no attempt to help me what so ever! Paid $55 should have Lit my money on fire at least something would be warm! Do not wast your money on this place! Magnolia Vet would not feed this food too there stray dogs.
MoreFrom the past three experiences, the food tastes fresher/more flavor when you go to the location to order vs delivery. One of our go to places for takeout Chinese!
MoreI would first say my rating is more of a 4½. The main critique were small bits of bone or cartilage in two dishes.Ordered online and received the order SUPER QUICK (1.7 km away and received in less than 20 minutes)! Order was hot and the driver was friendly. The food was what one would expect from Chinese takeaway. Personally, I love when dishes such as lemon chicken are brought with the sauce on the side so the dish is not mushy. Everything was seasoned well and not over seasoned. Word of advise, if youre not used to spicy food, the dishes labeled as spicy should be ordered one level less than you think. Very reasonably priced - plus there was not an absurd amount of fees tacked on like the "big players" in the restaurant delivery game.Overall, HIGHLY recommend and will be back.
Morethe nicest people, the food is super fast and hot and delicious! favorites are the house special hand shaven noodle and the orange chicken. sesame chicken also very tasty. but my god those hand shaven noodles man.
MoreWow their food is good! Normally I have to spice up even some of the "best" restaurants food at least a bit. But I didnt need to do a single thing to the food from this place. Excellent fried rice and the best hot and sour soup ever!
MoreThe General Tso is SUPER crispy, great tasting white meat chicken. Good friend rice - simple, but great flavor. Fast delivery.
MoreThe best general Taos chicken and chicken chow mein I’ve had in my life. White Chicken and delicious and crispy and the sauce is just yummy yummy and the chow mein full of big pieces of chicken vegetables fresh it was just the best and I’m a very picky eater and this was beyond it all and I’ve been many places to eat this type of food and by far this is the best I recommended very highly
MoreHand shaven noodles are so good! Crab cheese is also delicious. Vegetables fried rice tasted so fresh. Price was good for portion. Authentic Chinese food! Glad to find a good place with late open hours.
MoreNot sure why this place has such a high rating. I order the orange and lemon chicken and they were both extremely dry and hard to eat, along with the steamed rice. The chicken chow mein tasted horrible. The two stars are for the egg roles and the orange chicken sauce, and the fast delivery. I do agree they give you a lot of food, but the quality is not worth the money.
MoreDelivery ahead of schedule, tasty food, and generous portions for a good deal!Egg drop soup could use a flavor boost, and the veggie noodle dish I paid for extra veggies on needed more veggies....Overall, a good choice for fast delivery and good value.
MoreOne of the worst restaurants I had ordered from. They served meat in my order even though the grubhub menu doesnt mention anything about meat in the ingredients. They refused to refund or accept their mistake.
MoreThe only downside is that they dont offer combo meals. Otherwise, you get an extensive menu at affordable prices. Delivery is decent, too.
MoreI live this restaurant so much! The chicken is always so tender it just falls apart. I eat the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice at least once a week.
MoreGreat portions! Good food. Basically take out only though. There is only 2 small tables on inside.
MoreI ordered food from them, they charged my card. 1.5 hours later I called them to ask where my food was. They said there was no order. When I told them my card was charged the man raised his voice at me then hung up. I called them back and he said "too bad, not my fault"Never order from this place.
MoreGreat place if you are looking for takeout as it is very small inside and no room to eat. I do wish they have you a little more rice with your meal, but besides that, they made up for that with large meat portions when I ordered generals chicken. Tasted great and will be back again!
MoreGreat for take out or delivery. The place has a table (onebut it looks more like a staging area for the delivery process.Very nice staff.Delicious food, large portion for the price.Ill be eating the food again.
MoreFast delivery & the food was hot. I got the Kung-Pao Chicken and Vegetables. My sister got the Orange Chicken & Rice. Amazing!! Ordering from here again in the near future. Eat at this restaurant! :-]
MoreEating here made me feel physically ill. Theres a strange acrid smell that emanated from my orange chicken which stayed in my car for weeks. I tend to be very open to new restaurants and experiences, but I will avoid this place in the future due to the strange smell of the chicken and the sick feeling the food gave me.
More"Egg rolls" filled with just lettuce... for $7? Wontons were disappointing ... who puts carrots in a wonton? NO RICE delivered with THREE entrees of chicken/beef so we had to make our own. Was trying to avoid cooking as we had guests over, guess again! The entrees were alright (added 1 starbut this is seriously unacceptable. And delivery was not fast - took almost an hour. No more business from me
MoreMassive fan of their dishes but I have an iron stomach. Love the texture, taste, price and speed of delivery. Nice chefs, staff and nieghborhood. Easy parking pickup and huge menu to keep any party happy!!
MoreSuper fast delivery and the food is always hot, and fresh. Really nice delivery driver too. I would give 5 stars but the wonton soup is bland. Needs more flavor, otherwise everything else Ive ever ordered has been tasty.
MoreSo where to begin, from the homemade noodles, to the sauces that actually have a taste! This is the place to order from! Cheap, fast and awesome food. I would recommend Any of their Chow mains, the honey walnut shrimp, and their potstickers! But I havent found a bad thing on the menu yet!
MoreWow! Ordered this food the day after Christmas, and I was super impressed. The hand shaved noodles were perfect, Mongolian beef was flavorful, and orange chicken was crispy as you could imagine! 5 stars, best Chinese delivery in the city!!!
MorePlain old American Chinese food. Not too expensive and quick service. Exactly what I was looking for in a Chinese take-out place.
MoreI saw good reviews so I decided to try it, I ordered sweet and sour chicken to go and the sweet and sour sauce was on the side and it was cold. I dipped the warm chicken in cold sauce and that just made the chicken cold. Never in my life have have I experience that at any other Chinese restaurant before they always serve it hot, I should have gone to McDonalds and got a 20 piece chicken nuggets for 5 bucks instead.
Moretheir dishes are amazing! Hot and sour soup is quite possibly the best in town, and unlike many other places, is great every night. Take it from this born-in-Taiwan fan of this little joint: I gave it a chance, expecting not much, but Ive been back almost a dozen times in the last few weeks.
