Been taking my cats here for about 5 years and have had nothing but great experiences. Everyone here is so welcoming and truly care about every animal. I highly recommend New England Animal Hospital.

Called with an emergency for our rabbit who could not breathe we were told they had no openings and could not see us ………. They called me back 30 minutes later and squeezed him in

Ive been bringing my animals here for nearly 10 years. Unless I move far away I will always go here. Professional and courteous. The doc is down to earth and wicked awesome. Just all around amazing. Only downside is no home visits. Not a big deal though.

Good place, nice people and relaxed atmosphere. Doc is laid back and seems very competent.

Great customer service. Always onto of things. Great vetrenarian who are very liked by my pets. When I pull into their yard of business for an appointment, my dogs cannot wait to get out of vehicle and run for the entrance to be seen by all inside.

Always love bringing my pets here when needed. The staff is so friendly and good with animals! Recently had our cats front paws declawed because she was born with a claw defect thats always caused her discomfort. Everything went "purrfectly" and I expect shell be forever grateful for their help 😁

Been going here for over 30 years. Really miss Dr. Slack. Dr. Danner has been here for 10 years and he maintains the high level of dedication to the profession. The facility has gone through some major modifications over the years with improved technology. I no longer have to travel to get advanced treatment for my pets.

They care for all my animals very well! The vet is a little bit brusk but he is incredibly knowledgeable and treats the animals with the utmost care!

Everyone there is dedicated, knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I completely trust them with any issue my dog may have.

Have been bringing our furbabies here for years. Have had two, a dog and a cat, die unexpectedly under this vets care. Inaccurate diagnoses and a reluctance to do any testing/actual work have been my experience. Was told my elderly cat was diabetic and was charged for brand new diabetic supplies/meter etc, and instead given the old, used office backups. Had to return several times to get the correct items and prescriptions, and cat died as a result of liver issues, not diabetes. The final straw for me was being called to remind me of my cats follow up appointment a week AFTER he had passed (which they were notified offollowed by a solicitation for services for my other, surviving feline. Incredibly insensitive and unprofessional. Would not recommend this vet for anything other than initial vaccines.

Dr. Danner and staff are very informative and professional. We have been clients of New England Animal Hospital for over 25 years. Always a great experience.

Everyone here has been great with my sometimes difficult pets and thoughtful about their health issues. They provide a high standard of care, and always consult me before doing anything. So, there are no unexpected charges and I feel at ease.

If I could give less of a star I would. This place makes no attempt at ahh type of urgency regarding a pets immediate needs. Not quite an emergency but also not something that should wait over a week to be seen as the only availability they ever seem to have. When I transferred my dogs over to this vet they said they didn’t need to be seen until sept. Added them in may. Since they hadn’t been seen they can’t help them at all without first being seen. This has happened on two separate occasions now. Brunswick vet understands the needs and takes the well being of the animals into consideration and try to make availability ASAP. New England has the mentality that they could care less. Going back to my original vet well worth the travel.

Absolutely Love this place! We have a Shar-pei and the vet we had in Skowhegan was scared of him, and insisted he needed the eye surgery most shar-peis need. We decided to get a new vet because we didnt feel his needs were being met at the last one. These people are absolutely wonderful, very nice pleasant people, understood our dogs needs as well as told us they agree he doesnt need the surgery unless things get worse with his eyes. That he is very healthy and doing very well. And ill be honest was surprised at how much cheaper they were compared to the last place. They did absolutely wonderful with Roofus, I will continue to use them for all our pet needs,, I definitely recommend this place, your pets will love you for taking them to this place!

If your looking for a Vet that is passionate about helping your fur baby of any kind then this is the place. Very reasonable priced, quick on making appointments and getting your fur baby in. Best of all they are excepting new patients. I am very pleased on how well our family dog was taken care of and the sincerity of each worker! Thank you all so much 💞

With all thats going on in 2020, I personally have had a yr of progress. That being said, I thought my good fortune had come to an end and I was gonna spend the holidays trying to decide what was best for my one constant, my furry little friend, my Bunny! Well by a Christmas miracle and some real good timing Bunny has been seen, diagnosised, treated and is home resting comfortably. Thank you Everyone at New England Animal Hospital.

I like the Drs here, they seem to truly care. Ive been going here for 8yrs.So, I have been through getting new pets, little kittens, yearly exams & shots, to them getting sick or having normal pet issues.Ive had a retired Greyhound & a Siamese that had come to the end of their days & I went through both with Dr. Danner. He is very thoughtful & kind throughout the process & gives you the time you need to say goodbye to your furbabies.The office staff/manager hasnt been consistent. Some phone calls & visits they have been great, but I have also had times where they were completely opposite. I have stayed mainly because of the Drs. I know they are experienced & do their best to help with every day issues to having a very sick pet. So, even if the office staff isnt always nice or the best to deal with, I feel the Drs are worth dealing with their attitudes.

They are awesome!! Very caring towards all animals. You can tell the vet loves all his patients and wants them to want to visit. He goes out of his way to make each animal comfortable and happy!! Best vet yet !!

This is an amazing clinic. They go above and beyond for their furry patients. You can tell how much they love animals...its not just a paycheck! Ive been with this vet for 6yrs and will stay. So if you got fur babies this is definitely the place to go!😻

Staff 10/10 - Dr.Danner and his staff are very informational and wonderful people. They have helped our animals through lots of things that I never even knew existed. I.e laser treatment for my pups unhealed incision for example. Got her from a humane society with a partly bubbled incision, her incision was closed and looking perfect in just a few weeks after seeing them! They know animals, and they deserve acknowledgement for being so wonderful. The veterinarian building itself is clean, has enough seating, exam rooms are decently sized and they have a stunning parrot in the waiting room. All in all 5 star rating for care, information, and accepting my 12 phonecalls within the last month because I had extra questions. Theyll always greet you happily.

Animal doctor was great with my cat! But this place is not at all friendly and helpful with there service , they dont talk much,no smiles or greetings,they made me feel likeI was bothering them. They make you feel awkward like I didnt fit in there group of clientele I only went to this place because it was close to my home.

Everybody in the clinic is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I have been taking all of my pets there for many, many years and highly recommend this animal clinic. Dr. Danner and his staff are the BEST.

We love Dr. Danner for so many reasons, but for people looking to try this animal hospital for the first time, their appointments are always on time, and their prices are extremely reasonable. Give them a try, and Im sure youll love the staff as much as we do.

Really impressed with this clinic. We have had a tough time finding the "right fit" with a very since we moved to Maine. This clinic is super helpful and responsive. I feel like we now have a path forward for our pooches

The vet clinic is great and so are the people. There the only reptile vet close by.My dragons are doing great.

Truly a very professional and caring veterinary facility. Appointments available the same day. Unfortunately in our case... Our beloved friend was unable to come home after the appointment. A few days later... Dr. OBrien and her staff had send us a card of sympathy signed by the entire staff... And to me that makes all the difference. I am going to miss my cheese loving in middle of the night cracker stealing best friend but I know he was very well taken care of by true professionals.

Very disappointed with how we were treated. The vet brushed off everything I said was wrong with my leopard gecko and just said "I think this is the issue". He was wrong and now from a second opinion, she will need to be euthanized but he could have saved her if he had listen to what I was saying were her symptoms. The only positive was the nurse. She was incredibly nice and pleasant to talk to on the phone. For the price we were charged, I would have thought the vet would have at least given my leopard gecko her first dose of the medication that was prescribed

Brought our cat in last year to get his shots & then to schedule another appointment to have him neutered. They were able to give him his shots and get him in that day for surgery! He healed up amazing and they checked back a day later. Great experience. They are Very thoughtful and affordable. They actually care and don’t rush you out the door. Highly recommend bringing your pets here. Will be bringing my other two dogs in soon!🙂

This place is #1 in animal and human care alike. They make sure you leave knowing exactly what is wrong with your pet. They are extremely patient with you and will explain things multiple times if you don’t get something the first time. The staff are literally the nicest staff I’ve ever encountered at any vet office and they take extreme care of your pet and let you know in advance if your pet ever needs immunizations and whatnot. 10/10 perfect vet office.

Have brought my pets here several times. Always pleased with the care they received. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Danner did a great job on my dogs surgery.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ANIMAL HOSPITAL FOR YOU AND YOUR PETS!This was a new visit for my dog. She required immunizations during this visit and I picked up some heartworm prevention chews. All of the prices were reasonable and up front. If you asked about the cost of anything it was directly quoted, which was refreshing! No hidden costs for what my dog needed! This clinic also offers specials each month, discounted services for pets. When I visited it was a discount on spay and neuter - it was a wicked good deal. I suggest calling to find out what the discount of the month is, as it changes regularly.At other clinics I have had bad experiences after my dogs visit walking to the front desk and given the total cost. My wallet started screaming because I did not expect the excessive charges.The front desk staff member was very thorough and made sure my dogs rabies shot was up to date (I needed to get a fax from the previous vet). I appreciated the fact that they made sure she had this important vaccine which shows they really care about the health of the animals coming in the door.They handled my dog very gently and she was not over stressed. She had a brief exam (as she is a new clientand a teeth cleaning was recommended for the near future. I completely agreed. There was no pushing or shaming (as many vets do), just "what the doctor ordered", and I appreciated the approach. I will get her teeth cleaned, most likely, at that clinic. They offer this as a special every few months.We discussed the immunizations I requested and the vet agreed. Living in New England there are many diseases a dog can contract and he agreed with the preventative care. Again, the health of the pet is first.Note:I was visiting friends in Maine who had moved to Waterville and started to take their dog to this vet. NE Animal Hospital came highly recommended by both of them. They had the very difficult experience of having to euthanize their wonderful old dog and the vet and staff were very supportive, and even sent a card afterward. I believe that is the true test of a really good vet service, when you need them in such a hard situation and they handle it very well.When they have another dog they will surely be clients at this animal hospital again. I will use this clinic again as well. They are a great group.The other clients who came in and out with their pets all seemed happy with their services, and their pets seemed happy too. It was obvious the clinic staff and the vet are very experienced and care about their work. He also did an awesome nail trim on her dark nails!

Dr. Danner is great with our pets and makes sure to address our questions and concerns. I always leave feeling well informed and like he gave us his full attention during our pets visit. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I got my rat neutered here today and Dr. Arena was amazing! She called me after he was waking up from surgery and was going on and on about how sweet he is and about how she was petting him right then. Everyone was super friendly and I love the bird!

The best veterinary clinic for small animals I have ever had. The staff is amazing and Dr. Danner is kind, compassionate, but also realistic. He is very knowledgeable as is his staff. I would recommend them to everyone (and I do!).

Dr Danner is the most caring and helpful veterinarian Ive ever met. Hopefully youll never need it, but he will even come to your home if you ever need to have a pet put down - to make it less stressful for your pet, and you.

Very nice staff, I brought my male sugar glider in for neuter and was a bit nervous due to being such a tiny animal but the doctor was very reassuring, he answered all my questions and a few hours later the staff called me to let me know I could come pick up my guy. His recovered very well and in all truthfulness was his regular self that very night, doing everything he normally did. Their prices are fair, as we all know vet expenses tend to be costly its good to know we have a local vet that doesnt charge an arm and a leg.

Dr. Slack and his office assistants have cared for all our cats. They are wonderful to work with and take the extra steps to insure you understand and they do what they can to care for animals. We would recommend New England Animal Hospital to anyone for any animals. Thank you for everything.
