New Harvest Buffet in Luzerne County

I enjoy The food and the staff. The hostess Tiffany is always on point. She Genuinely makes everyone feel welcomed. The prices are great. The Hibachi chef is great and attentive.

Food was ok. Wasn’t really feeling the desert. The kiwi wasn’t sweet, the ice cream was good, the cheesecake wasn’t cold like it’s supposed to be. The service was a little too much. The lady will come up to us every 5 seconds asking if we’re good and give us dirty looks (looking my mom up and down), watching us pay for our meal like ...

The place looks ok. But the food, like the steaks they were dry and tough and some of the food was either pipping hot or cold like the crawldads they were cold but good tasting. The egg rolls are always soggy, not crunchy on the outside like they should be. Iv been at this place for both lunch and dinner. In my opinion if your going to go there go for lunch because its better at lunch.

Nothing was good except the fried dumplings and green beans. Dont recomend this place. Waste of money......

Very good food. Fresh and clean place. The staff was frienldy as well. We be back over & over again.Went back after the re-opening. They should have NEVER closed. Now it is worse! The hot food is not that fresh nor hot. Its tasteless & cold. Just like the staff. Rude and it seems as if you are bothering them, God forbid you need another drink, because you cant get your own now.Bad food & awful service. NEVER going back. The old one was way BETTER!It wasnt broke, didnt need fixing. Now its ruined! 👎🤮

Went for lunch. Small selection. Food was cold. Meatballs were so hard you couldnt eat it same with the teriyaki chicken. Will not go again

The food was very greasy and tasted like oil.....no taste to anything had like a deep fried oily taste on everything .....never will go there again......plus the silverware and plates are very dirty

The food was good and they changed it to a more traditional buffet setting. You order a drink and they serve it. You get a pot of hot tea when ordered. They still have hibachi and were grilling steak to serve on the buffet. Well be back.

People were so kind,the place was so peaceful. Food was amazing! I would refer this to a friend. Dont believe the haters this is an excellent have place.I been here a few different times throughout the new opening and its always the best and the food is better now then when it was under other managements.

First time back since new ownership. I have to say I like it better than before in some ways. Prices are much better, the seating is better and I love that you are not in charge of your own drinks. Staff was polite and very nice. The entire place is a very laid back and relaxing environment. I’ll defiantly come back to this buffet. My favorite in the area.

The food and service was good, but if you have to gauge a restaurant by how clean their restroom is, I would not eat there again. I used the restroom after my lunch and it was filthy. The walls inside the stalls look like they hadnt been cleaned for months and this restaurant just reopened in Sept. It was not a good experience for me and I probably would choose somewhere else to eat lunch or dinner next time I am in that area.

Chinese buffet. Food was not bad for the price. Used a two dollar coupon for dinner last night, 10/9/2019. Clean and friendly. Tea and drinks are extra. Nicely remodeled from what was the former Country Buffet.

We decided to try the newly reopened Harvest Buffet and we are glad we did! The selection of food was great..the steak was great..full of flavor , perfectly cooked and very tender. My husband said the ribs were great also. There was a large variety of veggies, including Brussels sprouts and an absolutely great salad bar! The Chinese food selection was surprisingly very good compared to the old Harvest Buffet , the crab rangoons were good..the egg rolls were only fair for me but everything else was so good it made up for it. The dessert bar had fresh fruit options including kiwi, grapes , oranges and mellons. They also had delicious ice cream. The service was excellent! Our servers name was Moses and he was great, both friendly , efficient and professional. We would highly recommend this place.😚😊

Staff not that friendly and now since they reopened they charge you 2.19 per drink extra when you eat. We had coffee it was horrible . Over 30.00 bucks because of getting charged for the drinks not worth it. Food wasnt anything special. Bathroom floors very slick. Wont be back.

Food was terrible everything tasted sweet or no flavor at all. Very dry. Started to feel sick from it. Less variety of items as well.No napkins holders at any of the tables. Plates and silverware were dingy. Very disappointing when you have to look around the whole place trying to find napkins to wipe your face,hands, or child. Not all the child seats have safety belts on them which is a hazard. The place was way better before they closed. I will not be returning, I feel like I wasted my time and money.

Food doesnt taste as good as it looks. Nothing was good enough for me to come back.

Used to love this place and I believe they just closed down the best buffet for the price around Wilkes-Barre

Food is very good alot of different foods to choose from. Price is affordable.

Really disappointed as I use to love this place. They had so much variety and different food. I told all my friends about it, the last few times I have been here I was upset. They do not have the variety they use too.The lo me in, chicken and broccoli and Mashed potatoes were cold. The croutons were stale. Its honestly like they just stopped caring. Not wasting my money here anymore only to be disappointed.

The food was hot and good. Place clean. Workers pleasant. Was down in the area so checked it out. Wide variety of food but nothing different or nothing stood out. I would not make a special trip to go there. If lived local or was down that way...would maybe go there again.

Loved that they had a great variety of fresh fruit and vegetables to choose from! I only wished they offered better selections of sushi and that some of their staff members were more helpful. I observed a woman asking if theyd be bringing out more Wonton soup as the soup kettle was completely empty.. the woman managing the sushi and salad bar station told her that was the kitchens responsibility. It took at least a good 10 minutes before the woman actually found a staff member who helped. Also their womans restroom was a bit on the smaller side. As I witnessed a mother with her handicapped daughter struggling to get in and out.

Its a buffet. Staff was courteous and kept the place clean. Food was ok.

Fresh food, options for the whole family, friendly staff and affordable price .. The place has a good traffic, but they seemed understaffed and you see food on the floor and dirty tables for longer than you wish to.

Food good, no spoons there teaspoon, no meatloaf, I was looking forward to it, coupon I had would not unload buy one meal get another free.

Its not quite as good as it was when they first opened..... Seems like the quality of the food has dropped off..... Its still quite good and yes i will eat there again....

The positive side are the selection is good and the price was right. The bad side is the taste of the food, (in my opinionwas less than average. I go off of flavor more than price so Im sure I wont be going back there again.

When this place first opened it was wonderful. In November our son asked to have his birthday dinner there. We had about 15 people, were put in their party room, which was not clean or even set up. The waitress seemed preoccupied. The food was old and dry, for the most part. Im not sure if it was the day of the week or what the deal was but it has kept us away since. That was a lot of money for the experience we had. Hopefully they shape up. That was my kids favorite place.

Nice variety of selections. Better than other chain buffets and at a more than reasonable price. Very satisfied.

This restaurant was amazing loved it wish we had one down in sayre pa I would deff be a regular there.

Thought they were very well priced. $19 and change for 2 people for lunch, cant beat that. Dinner is a few bucks more but, still 100% worth it for the price. American and Chinese food. Sushi, salads, nice self serve drink station. Would recommend 👌 👌 👌 👌

Food is tasty but they don’t restock clams even if you ask. I asked for some three times and was kept waiting and they explained the clams take a long time to open. I waited a half hour and then left without having clams and I won’t be returning

Went on a Thursday night about 6pm and has been remodeled very nicely. Food was hot fresh and fantastic. Looking forward to going back again.
