Awesome place to walk the dog to let them cool off in the creek, walk to the dog park on the trails and fields

This hidden gem is amazing, a small dog park/trail but its absolutely beautiful. Its quiet and peaceful, not to mention its right off of Delaware Ave before you cross the bridge over the Normanskill. It does seem well known to locals and years ago there was a dog oriented geocache here, which was a cute find.

Careful when driving to the parking lot, there is a small community going downhill, you should drive with caution.

This is a working farm within the city limits of Albany. It is a birding hot spot, there are lovely trails, a dog park, and community gardens. In the winter it is a nice spot for cross country skiing. A lovely spot.

Greatest hidden gem of Albany, Ny.

Rode our bikes from Delaware Ave to visit the stream and do some adventuring with my 8 year old... I wouldnt recommend riding bikes to the dog park area tho... Very gravelly... But overall a scenic and peaceful place to visit.

Beautiful area and peaceful!! Be careful for ticks. We were their once and our dog got a tick when we went near the water where you park your car. We were able to remove the tick in the car. This was 2 days ago.

Gorgeous area, dog park is clean, peopke are friendly, the visible bridge has a gorgeous view but if you walk up the hill across from the parking lot there is a hidden one that is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend. Gets more beautiful as seasons change, never a dull moment, but never without peace. The trails and dog park are gorgeous as well.

Was looking for a place to take a hike while waiting for my wifes surgery at Albany Med and this looked close and nice. the trails are NOT marked. the locals might know where to go but I ended up walking a lot on a stone road through the farm. the trail, once I found it, was very muddy. from the map at the parking lot I knew I would be near a golf course , but you actually walk the paved course road for part of the hike. Im sure the City of Albany community garden is beautiful when its in full bloom. I would not hike this again.

Great hike, pretty sure a coyote was following me. Other than that nice views and beautiful wildlife.

Really neat place to go for a little hike. Mostly flat with the river along the way, a farm house, little side trails to the river. Very quite and perfect spot to bring the dog. We let him splash around the river and he was dry by time we got back to the car.

Always a great hike, finally got to take my dog out for the very first time, fellow hikers and dog owners here have such an amazing community.

Went to see the yellow brick road and fell in love with the hiking trail. Wonderful place to take the family for a hike.

The first third of the hiking is fairly flat. Once you hit the golf course, the hills become extremely steep and difficult.

Ive always loved nature. More so when I moved to NC. So when I noved upstate NY I just had to find a nice spot to hike and be at peace with myself outdoors. This is one of those places for sure. I like stand by the log near the river. So peaceful!

I love it here but wish that you could walk all the away along the river... there is a broken bridge where you have to walk back up to the road. Lots of dogs here, on-leash and off-leash. Dont go with kids who are scared of dogs.

Nice area for a walk near Albany. The organic farming area could use a little help from the clean up crew. All in all very nice tho. Thanks.

The place where my blood pressure goes down. It would be nice if a sitting and enjoying area could be set up. It seems as if more than just a parking area (clearingcould be provided. Hard to determine if this controlled by Albany or Bethlehem. Hell; if theyd let me, Id pay for a little sitting area next to the creek. It would be worth it.

I love this place. The kids enjoy walking the trails, its pet friendly. Beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife to view. Ive seen, fox, raccoons, skunks, an occassional coyote, many birds of all species

My absolute favorite local dog walk and park. Gorgeous well maintained trails with lots of responsible dog owners. I go here every day, sometimes twice.

The trail to the dog park is torn up, the road is worse. It used to be great.

I love this place because I can bring my dog and relax by the river. Its nice and shady and the old ruins from 19th century buildings add to the interest of the place. People and their dogs are friendly.

It doesnt feel very maintained. We totally enjoyed the walk, but nothing was posted. We could not find the longer trail at all. But the puppy loved it, and it got us out and about
