Pretty area. Got to campsite but no pads. Just park on grass. Lots of trash in tree area at the back of water/electricity hookups. (We filled 1/2 of large lawn leaf bag just at our site. Shoreline is pretty with lots of birds but saw hundreds of dead fish along the edge, had been there long enough there wasn’t any smell thankfully.

The dead fish were terrible and smelled horrendous was literally gagging. We couldnt even enjoy the beach, which was sad because it was a great weekend.

West side of Cheney lake, very clean and quiet, big lots. Camp goat was very friendly to contact maintenance when our power went out and Ken wit maintenance was a lifesaver!

Easy pull through camper spots, with nice spacing between camp sites, so you are not on top of each other. Cheney has free wifi as well!

Love the area. But if you plan on bringing your camper out before the 15th of April and you need water fill your tanks at the station. Water is not on until the 15th. Wish we would have known but that is okay we will know next time

Hosts take great care of the area. Very well kept, fire ring emptied of ash. No trash laying around, host comes by and actually sets up the site for the next day promptly. Very professional.
