The temperature and lighting was perfect. It was easy to see the screens from the back. The staff that offered tea, coffee, and water was on point. The sound was great. Very exciting atmosphere.

Great place, great venue, though the sound system was little disappointing. I am comparing to ADE Ziggo Dome Events.

Ideal place for a rave. Acousticly this is a wonder and the ambiance is perfect. Visit it during ADE or other music event and be amazed!

The temple of techno. Had my fair share of parties here and would recommend everyone to visit. Be sure to stand on the midpoint or on the left of the DJ straight up against the booth. Enjoy

The best Location for events.Awakenings x Afterlife 2021 was amazing!

Its an arena gor big events. I had visited it during Christmas and its huge .it can seat 3000 people in one go comfortably. It seemed very safe as well to me becuse it has several exits.

Wow! This converted building has a domed ceiling and the light/sound show SKALAR was excellent. The staff are efficient and friendly. Go here!

Amazing place!When you walk in youll feel all the joy that happened there. I went to a light show here yesterday but seen many events and kinds of vibes.

One of the most interesting venues in the city, very versatile, a lot of different event are held here the the agenda is always packed.

The coolest events space Ive been to. Giant discoball, fireworks and even a massage area. Perfect way to bring in 2020!

Very nice location, sound system is crazy and the visuals are also very nice. We went there for the Awakenings festival, they even had fireworks inside!!!

What a place - visited during ADE for the first time. Its an old oil tanker transformed into Amsterdams Techno Mecca. Huge space so even if it is sold out there is always space - doesnt get too hot, great sound and a lot of rooms for crazy visuals. Friendly sruff and great lockers! Huge venue with great sound and production

the home of the Awakenings, high quality lighting and sound. cozy. the round shape is perfect to spread the crowd. even it was full it didn’t feel jammed.

The place is really nice for events. I’ve had multiple events there and it’s easily one if my favorite venues to go. There’s a nice park where you can relax, walk or jog.

I was there at Amsterdam Pride with funhouse XXL Party. First... Ists big, very big, nearly like an lndoor Open Air. The acoustic of the Gashouder dome ist unique and was perfectly fitting to the circuit tracks. The sound went directly below my skin and had me from the first moment. I know those tracks but they sound more .. voluminous ... When you have the chance for a visit dont hesitate ... go in. I cant believe that you regret this. Next year you definitely will find me in there. And the lightshow was very impressive as Well.

Its a great idea to make a cultural space from a former refinery. This place in particular hosts various events from dance parties to coffee festival which we attended this time.

Beautiful place, which used to be a coal gas factory. This gives the area a great industrial feeling. There are nowadays many events hosted at this location. Also you will find some restaurants in the area. There is a Q-park garage nearby, but from time to time (especially during eventsthis parking garage is full. Then finding an empty spot nearby can be difficult and time consuming. If possible come by public transport.

What a beautiful building. Is really love to know what it was used for in the past. Its located in a great park that is easy to reach from anywhere in Amsterdam. Great place for a convention or even a wedding.

Super Party from awakenings, good prices inside and very smoker friendly :music loudness is OK, its a bit outside. But for that party its worth!

Perfect location for a huge music festival indoors.

A very unique venue

I attended the world AI summit during October 2018 in the Gashouder. For a building with that surface, it can be considered very close to center of the city. The Bulding is practical and nice with a mixture of traditional style and high tech equipements

Great location, the vegan food festival was a great succes.

Went to Funhouse XXL Pride Edition and it was the best commercial party Ive ever been to. The venue is great - for one thing, theres enough space inside that it didnt get so extremely hot as the other venues.

Best dance music venue to date (often go there when the venue hosts awakenings events). Spectacular lighting, great sound, not too big or too small.

This is one of the best places in the westerpark/fabriek. (Up there with Pacific Parc.Kids friendly, chilled atmosphere, great people working here. Btw this was the best place to watch the World Cup. The screen was massive just like their generosity. THANKYOU!

Its an event space, so it really depends on the type of event how nice it is. Toilets are a bit limited. The area in westerpark is nice. You can find free parking 5-10min walking away, just continue a bit on haarlemmerstraat out of town and turn left on industrial area. Paid parking closer is also available

Industrial circular building (old gas silo), now hosting tons of festivals, events, music shows, night parties. The space is huge and for the clubbing it really feels great to have some space. Sound is also amazing due to the circular shape.

The best techno parties I ever had took place here. Since the venue is round, the sound has special vibes, and you get lost in the music frequencies before realizing how good are the speakers. Lights, visuals and even fireworks are well thought to keep you awake and constantly surprised. You can leave your stuff in a box at the entrance (with a code to open/close it, very very safe), bathrooms are usually clean and the bartenders fast. Great venue for festivals.

Home of techno parties for 20 years with Awakenings! Awesome location. Good toilets, chill area and food (though basic). Sound is amazing and a must-see: stand in the middle of the giant circular tank and experience the sound rolling in from all sides. Then focus on the laser light show and lift off!

Was here for Awakenings. Good location, a lot of options for the organizer. The room had poor acoustics.

A really cool place, with a lot (!of room. We went there for Funhouse XXL and it was XXL! The trip getting there didnt take too long (approx. 25 min from the central station with bus + a short walking trip). They had some food and snacks serving as well as drinks and the usual stuff.
