Oberdorf Carpet One Floor & Home in Union County

Built our home 26 years ago. Kim installed all the carpet, wood floors and vinyl flooring. Our floors have battled the kids, Friends, dogs, cats and the weather, forgot about the extensive water damage. And folks, our floors still look great. Thank you Oberdorf Carpet One.

They installed new wood floor in my house and the person doing the installation made sure there was no gap between the new and existing wood floor. It was installed on- time and every day my house was left clean and safe. People in the office were nice and knowledgeable.

Owners are aggressive and rude.

Oh there are so many things to say but I will stick to just one thing. Ordered tile for my kitchen (total kitchen remodel), they came, measured, placed order. When came time to install, they said they couldnt install due to the fact that my house had a sub floor half concrete/half wood. Not their fault, not mine. I had to quickly pick some vinyl tile without knowing a price, etc. All I know is that there was ALOT less labor involved,. They charged me a 25% restocking fee to return the tile. It wasnt that I changed my mind, I wanted the porcelain tile -I still do...they couldnt install it (or they said they couldnt). Talked to my contractor that disagreed and said they should have been able to install. So Im stuck with a floor I didnt want initially, they charged almost as much as what the tile floor wouldve costed, plus that restocking fee. A reputable place would have eaten the restocking fee cost to keep a customer...at the very least split the restocking fee with me but to charge me 100% of it and take no responsibility-unethical.Update: After posting my review the company saw my review and called me. They removed the restocking fee and we talked it out. I did appreciate the gesture.
