I really enjoyed my nurses and their assistance and I like Dr. The nurse I had the day I went home was so sweet so caring she acted like I was a person . But everyone I encountered was very sweet very caring I enjoyed my stay.

My Surgeon was incredible. My surgery went flawless. It was the after care that was horrifying. I had to stay the night in the hospital following a partial nephrectomy and it was the worse care I’ve ever received in my life. I would never stay overnight there ever again.

A good experience from Registration to Check-In to Radiology. All hospital employees amiable and professional, in particular Hillary in Radiology. ORMC should stop selling its soul to the CDC for money and get rid of the useless and unhealthy face masks.

The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. I’ve been at ORMC as an outpatient and inpatient for various surgeries and was even admitted with Covid back in December. I always felt like I was in good hands. Every single individual that I had encountered was so professional and comforting. This is definitely a hospital I highly recommend to everyone.

My experience with the stress test was fine. I wish they had a bike option for the stress test. I wished to go longer, but I did not dare as I was beginning to feel the pressure on my back from a medical injury caused by multiple child births. As the rise became steeper, as an older person. I felt a bit unstable, as if I needed to cling to the hand bar. A bike would also have taken care of that. I have had a stress test on a bike before. For me a bike would be a better option. Also it has been just an hour or two short of 6 days and I am still waiting the final report. The web site says it should be in within 4 days, which would likely cover a week-end and we have had a weekend. The nurse was nice and fun to work with and chat with. She was very accommodating to my needs. The person who ran the test did a great job. I feel the procedure went very well, was well explained and when there was a question on billing, it was explained adequately so that I could make an informed decision.Me biking below.

They were awesome, the team at the hospital worked together to help my fiancé feel better and make sure my son was doing good. They were on top of things and extremely informative. Had a nurse into check multiple times a hour.

DO NOT HIRE DR BIERERS FOR YOUR OBGYN. He showed medical negligence and complete carelessness and irresponsibility when dealing with my cousin in labor. He did not respect her birth plan, he gave me attitude when I told him to do delayed cord clamping which my cousin wanted, he had horrible bedside manner and has no business dealing with vulnerable women. He did not explain any of the risks of forceps after being asked, and he pulled the baby out of my cousin so rough and quickly that she got a third-degree tear. He did a terrible job stitching her up, he did it so quickly and terribly that two weeks later all of this stitches fell out and bunched into a big ball and gave my cousin an infection and she’s had to deal with searing vaginal pain for two weeks because of his horrible, careless job of stitching her up. He has no place dealing with vulnerable women and showed carelessness and medical negligence. I am horrified that he continues to deliver babies and deal with sensitive, vulnerable women everyday. Absolutely do not recommend him.

I was at a trampoline park and broke my foot. I was taken to Ogden Regionals ER to have it looked at. I was seen by Nurse Practitioner Harrell, Baron A. He was super dismissive about my pain and injuries. He did no physical examination and when I asked him for something for the pain he stated "lets wait for x-rays". I went for x-rays, and when I returned a nurse brought me Ibuprofen. a short while later he returned and said: "nothing is broken someone will be in here to give you a referral" I argued something was wrong and he was dismissive. My wife then asked if he could do something more for the pain, and he responded to her in a rude manner saying " I am not giving him anything for a simple sprained ankle" I requested a boot cause I knew something was wrong and they actually got me one, which the nurse placed wrong! Two days later I went to The U of U injury clinic and was rushed to the ER from there due to the swelling and lack of feeling in my toes. Turns out my foot was broken IN THREE PLACES!!! so now I have ER bills and only one of them cared or did anything. As a healthcare worker myself I can honestly say this hospital gives healthcare a bad name and Harrell, Baron really defines PRACTICING medicine.

Labor and delivery here was great! Of course over the period of our stay, we had several different nurses and they all were awesome. We felt very taken care of, and like we were a priority even though we know it was a busy time for them. They made my entire labor process a very positive and memorable one. I’m so grateful for good hospital staff and Drs!

We were very disappointed.. we have been there several times before and it’s been great but we stopped for an X-ray on my foot the other night. We were told it shouldn’t be more than an hour… we were totally forgotten. Of course they get your money immediately so your stuck there.. it was 1 1/2 hours before they even got to the X-ray.. and she wouldn’t X-ray where it hurt… she kept doing my ankle…. and then another hour before they came in and gave the results.. I was freezing and miserable and then they didn’t even have what they needed for my ankle..they were having someone come wrap it.. I waited another 20 minutes and finally left! The new security quard who’s shift had changed.. because we were there so long was very rude and I hope we won’t need them again.. very disappointing!!!!! 2 hours and 40 minutes for a X-ray on a foot and there was hardly a soul there..

Honestly I’ve only been here twice and hated both experiences. First time I was going for my first pregnancy appointment and swiftly found an alternative after I wasn’t comfortable there. Second was during Covid for testing and they made my nose bleed profusely, caused me 30 seconds of extreme pain in both nostrils and said it’s normal. Every test I’ve had after was not painful at all and no bleeding. Now seeing recent news about this place has justified me more to leave a negative review.

I feel like there was more that could have been done to save my son as well as possibly transferring him to primary childrens. I feel like he would still be here if he was at primary childrens hospital instead... The cafeteria never answered the phone all the nurses where always just sitting around talking. Only had 2 that I really liked who did there job.. will definitely be choosing a different hospital with my second pregnancy...

I went their because I overdosed. They didn’t help me so much to where I didn’t even get nothing to drink. They didn’t check on me till I told them I’m leaving. Came home and am having severe abdominal pain. But they were just talking amongst themselves when I went go check on what’s going on. They said they’d keep an eye out on me but I had to flag my nurse down to tell her of my symptoms. They don’t take mental health patients seriously

Had my 3 year old in the ER because she was having trouble breathing. Dr. Scott Ferguson was adamant that it WAS Covid. Well, after a negative covid test, negative RSV test and negative flu test he discharged us even though she still couldn’t take a deep breath. “It’s gotta just be a bug we don’t test for.”We had been home less than one hour and I decided to check her o2 levels (lucky I happened to have a pulse ox on hand at home..it was 79! And dropping. We rushed her back and at that point, I was scared the nurses were going to have to intubate her. We were assigned a different doctor who immediately ordered a chest x ray (why was this not done the first time?where a very severe case of pneumonia was detected immediately. I asked to talk to the first doctor who not surprisingly had left for the night. It’s very hard to not feel like he just didn’t want to wait around for an x ray and ushered us out quickly. Unfortunately, the whole experience definitely has a questioning if we would trust the facilities again.

I enjoyed my stay while having my baby. The labor abd delivery nurses were amazing! Everyone who took care of us after was excellent as well and very appreciated! The room was nice and big, loved the tub for labor, food was good overall was great! Only reason I gave it 4 stars was the checkout process seemed a little drawn out… we waited 3 hrs after the doctor okayed us to go. No nurse came in during that time was just little frustrating so only suggestion start check out early!!

I had a kidney attack from allergic reaction to the morphine they gave me in the ER, worst pain of my life, lost my sight and they tried to code me to the psych ward with my husbands say so when we had an active domestic violence case pending. Eventually they found the source of my pain was large ovarian cyst that could have been drained, that later ruptured almost killing me and cervical cancer resulting in emergency hysterectomy. I now fear this hospital and would not be taken there if my life depended on it.

I got good care up until recover from a short procedure. I had conscious sedation. After waking in recovery and my breathing normalized I was given water and crackers. Once I sat up and dressed I became very nauseous then began throwing up. I was given nothing for nausea and was given a clean throw up bag and wheeled out while I was throwing up. This lasted until after I got home and was able to sleep. For the next 5 days I was nauseous and had a headache. I believe if I had been given something in the recovery room for nausea I would have recovered much faster.

We were taken back to the room as soon as we arrived. The Nurses and Doctors were all so kind, pleasant, courteous and respectful. They immediately jumped in doing there job and explaining what they were doing as they did it. When the doctor got the results of my tests, he explained everything to me so I understood them. The doctor ask me if I had any questions? Which I did. He took the time to listen to me and my son, he answered all of my questions. Ive never seen such thorough, prompt and polite emergency room personnel as yours! As far as emergency room visits go this was the best experience Ive ever had in the emergency room 🙂.I would highly recommend you to everyone!Thank you!Carol

Worst experience I have ever had at Ogden Regional ER. The doctor was so cold and short and made me feel like what I had to say didnt matter. Gave me a diagnosis which had non of the symptoms and would not listen to my concern and just discharged me. He did not listen to my symptoms and didnt want to hear anything of what I had to say. Was not offered a blanket after being put in a gown for over a couple hours. Had to use restroom no one showed me where the remote was to call for assistance so I waited forever then when I used the remote it took forever for someone to come help me. No concerns of monitors beeping or of my pain. All I could here was them talking outside my door joking about some lady outside and about who owes who venmo and what they got for lunch. I was hesitant to come in and my doctor advised me that it was best course of action while I wait for other appointments and it was the worst decision. Now stuck with a medical bill with no answers and misdiagnosed BUT most importantly the way I was treated is unacceptable and Dr. Greenwood should not be a doctor. Based on prev reviews I dont see how he is even still there.

I would give them 0 stars if I could.I went for severe back pain, I told the RN that I thought I had a herniated disc, she told me that she currently has five in her spine and to "stop being a baby, they dont hurt that much". I was told that the NP would be ordering x-rays. I gave my bank card to intake and a different RN came telling me that I needed to sign to pain medications as its their new policy. I signed and he rudely told me that I am discharged that they need the bed for someone else. As he told me that the lady came back with my bank card. I was in the waiting room for 4 hours and seen for 15-25 minutes. I could hardly walk. Next day my back locked up on me and I ended up in a different ED to find out that I had 2 fractures in my L5 and 1 fracture in my S1 with a complete compression of those two. My nerve was being pinched. This would have been seen and treated if the NP actually cared to even come see me and cared enough to order the x-rays like I was told. I paid my copay and still got a $500 bill from them a few months later. I called and complained about this and nothing ever happened, I still had to pay my $325 at the ED and the $500 bill that I was sent. $825 for 15-25 minutes of them doing nothing at all for me. I also never saw the NP during my visit only two different RNs. When I called the ED manager I was told that there was nothing they could do regarding my situation and I still needed to pay my bill or it would go to collections. I called several times regarding how is was treated there. I would rather die on my way to another ED than ever let anyone at that ED treat me again. This is the worst ED I have ever been to.

2700 north location.!!!!No wait, just a bunch of bored and eager to work nurses. Which is probably why I had so many in the room just standing around not doing anything.(I know ill be paying for each one regardless if they where helping or not). What a waste of my insurance and money.Nobody washed their hands when entering the room nor the entire time not even the doctor. The nurse came in took my bad arm(which I previously explained to them I just had surgery and if they can use the other arm. No dice.Nurse took my bad arm right away and said big needle and stabbed my arm I yelped and let out fbomb. I didnt even get to finish the world before the doctor yelled at me top of his lungs about my language because there are kids here. With that he frightened my son who was in the room and made me feel very uncomfortable. They ignored the fact that I kept saying I just had shoulder surgery on that arm I even had bandages and everything they still proceeded to do blood pressure check from my surgery arm and took 4-5 huge vials of blood from same arm.I was in excruciating pain the whole time which they ignored. My husband and i asked numerous of time what if I want to go else where they ignored my husband and I request. Forcing us to endure.i will never seek help from this location.I would rather be on my last limb dying in the process and I still rather go across town and wait hours to be seen rather than ever go to this emergency room off 2700 north. Horrible!!!!

My daughter was born here in 2012. She was 10 lb baby. Upon having her delivered, the NICU kept her for two weeks. I was unable to choose the option to breastfeed because the NICU said she was having trouble breathing and had a heart murmur. I traveled up to Washington terrace as much as possible to see her. Her dad was not involved during the pregnancy but thinking back on it now. I just hope the doctors were letting him see her without my consent. Before paternity was established during the two week stay in the NICU. He later took me to court and we established custody and paternity at 10 months old.I liked this hospital but I remember being 19, my first baby being 10 pounds was a very hard labor and delivery. For the most part the nurses made me feel secure with pincode access to the maternity ward during my stay so I would only have authorized visitors. There was a time I was in so much pain stuck on the toilet after the delivery, but as soon as I hit the nurses button , they were very fast to help me with medication management to adhere to my pain level. Looking back, I wish I was given the opportunity to stay with my baby during the 2 week NICU stay.

The assigned female nurses (third shiftand female nursing assistants seemed to be on top of doing their rounds, checking on the patients, and monitoring my breathing situation. The assigned male nurses (first and second shiftnot so much, they pretty much just ignored me and requesting the monitoring my breathing situation. The male nurses, assigned first did virtually no new patient orientation to the ER. They didnt tell me about how to order meals nor give me the menu information, they didnt tell me how to work anything in the room except the call button, they didnt give me the courtesy bin to brush my teeth or wash soap (I noticed it sitting on the counter behind my bed when I prepared to leave the next day), they did not explain how to get untangled from the wires hooked up to me to use the restroom, and they were not responsive to calls. When the female nurses and nursing assistants took over later that evening and the next day the stay got a lot better. They made their rounds, monitored my vitals, hooked up the machines and made sure the air was flowing properly. Dr. was great. Great Bedside manner and answered all my questions. Food was good (when I was finally shown how to order it), kitchen people were considerate and helpful, room was clean. Bottom-line, it was a pleasant stay.

My midwife was wonderful. The delivery/postpartum room was spacious. I had a few nurses (2 specificallythat were attentive and compassionate post delivery, grateful for them.Nurses didn’t seem to be engaged or attentive to me. Room didn’t feel clean/disinfected after birth, they left the baskets full of garbage/dirty laundry in my room for hours. Didn’t offer me a new gown until 7+ hours after baby was born, so I sat in a dirty bloody gown. Didn’t mention a shower until over 24hrs after baby was born, didn’t offer to assist with a shower and there were no shower supplies. Sanitary supplies were not restocked, had to ask for more. Medications not given in a timely manner or on a schedule, had to ask for them multiple times.Having had 3 babies in 3 different hospitals in Northern Utah I’d have to say this was my least favorite and that’s with one of my babies being delivered in the middle of the COVID pandemic and that experience was far better than my visit here at ORMC.

When we first arrived we were slapped with total sticker shock on how much they wanted us to pay out of pocket that same day, it really would have been nice to have that as a phone call prior to my appt because I was already extremely nervous for the surgery. Once we got checking into a room, we kind of settled a little and the rooms are actually very nice, warm and comforting. Pre Op care was very good, but after my surgery was done it went down hill. I waited 1.5 hours after calling a nurse for assistance and waited 3 hours for a meal after ordering. I also did not feel like anyone communicated with me on when I would be discharged and the surgeon never came back to let me personally know how the surgery went, which left me feeling very confused and uneasy about the procedure and when I would be able to go home, then after the nurse shift change a nurse came in a abruptly was ready to discharge us, however she was very nice, it just would have been nice to know ahead of time. After paying even just the amount we paid out of pocket I really thought I would get much better for my entire stay, but was highly disappointed. However I will say the rooms there are by far nicer and warmer feeling than at McKay.

Medical care was adequate, facility was nice, but the billing was horrendous. I delivered my baby over a year ago and am still getting random bills, that were initially sent to the wrong insurance or never sent to anyone at all. Billing has been an ongoing saga for 15 months ending up with us getting hounded by a debt collector for a $6k bill we never even received! Could not be more displeased. Will never go to this hospital again for any reason.

Well if Im healed by Monday from my bike wreck I might just be able to make my Full New Hip Replacement Surgery on 06/22/2022. I am about there now. I have been consuming thousands of calories most of it protein based to make the healing process go as swift and rapidly yet I know I will suffer some. If not for that I wouldnt do it. You see all my life I have had someone or some rule governing on how much pain I must endure. I used to think it depending on how bad that then you know over the years or something why I was getting all this adversity constantly pain back pain back never getting a reward for it was like it was almost did the other side was just overwhelming pray that you noticed a good side you know what Im saying so I just went with it you know I figured why you like the pain I know I look forward to it so anyway Im not too worried about it May the force be with me. So I got a little head trauma who doesnt? You know what Im saying. What would my daily activities be with no drama, no worries, tons of babes you know Id just be going LA LA LA LA LA everything is wonderful. And what fun would that be? People would call me and say " Hey Smitty should we run down to the boulsvard and talk about our day and how lovely it was? That is the question Im afraid, that is the question.

I stayed with Austin Regional after I left against medical advice from the first hospital that I was at in Pocatello Idaho portneuf Regional because of the lack of care compassion and cleanliness. When I got to Ogden Regional I was extremely pleased and impressed with all of their care their staff and cleanliness and all of the above. I stayed in Ogden Regional for a little over a week and towards the end yes they were trying to wean me off of my pain medication from after a horrific accident so I was upset about that but all in all Ogden Regional is probably the best hospital Ive ever been to in my life and Ive had over 15 surgeries all in different hospitals

Had lower back surgery here and every part of my experience was amazing. Every nurse, doc and staff member was pleasant and professional and the overall level of care was top notch. Procedure went perfectly, am recovering well, and cannot say enough good things about Ogden Regional. Even their app, MyHealthONE, is a breeze to use (take notes Tanner Clinic!). Thank you to Dr Welling, Lynette, Cheyenne, James, Tracey, Ben, and all other staff that helped make my stay pleasant, you all truly went above and beyond.

Disappointed that the labor and delivery rooms havent been updated for 18 years. My grandson was not entered into the system correctly. This must have not been remedied because my daughter had to return him today for another pku test because they didnt enter his info in right. After delivery the nurse read the number on the babies band wrong, but luckily there were only 2 babies and they looked nothing alike. I understand human error but that is too many oversights for what should be a major hospital in Utah.

Very disappointed with my hospital experience after giving birth. I went to McKay for my previous births and the experience was amazing. At Ogden regional they would tell me they’d check on me in 15 minutes and not come back for over an hour, they forgot to give me medication unless I reminded them, left my IV in until right before I discharged, it was very uncomfortable and they just forgot, didn’t ask my about my newborns diapers or help with breastfeeding. They would take a long time to come in if I called my nurse, the cafeteria never answered the phone so I just left messages when ordering. One time I stuck my head out my door trying to get a nurse and nurse yelled at me that I needed my mask on or to stay in my room. At McKay I felt cared about and waited on and like all my needs were met. Terrible experience at Ogden, no one checked on me or asked me questions or helped me with anything, I felt forgotten and hated it. I left as soon as I could. If you have the choice go somewhere else!

The care I received from the staff in this hospital was great. I had surgery and was in the hospital for 3 days. They were all kind and every nurse that I had was wonderful. The nurses, doctors, imaging staff were all intelligent and caring. The kind people that brought my meals and and cleaned the room were nothing short of spectacular and I really enjoyed talking with them. I felt well cared for at Ogden Regional for my surgery and two ER visits there.
