I’m very happy with our experience with Ogden flooring! Me and my fiancé are expecting and putting together our baby’s nursery and needed some carpet installed in her room! They gave us a quote asap, and came less then a week later to install! Most definitely will be coming to them to redo some more carpets in our home! Jason is great and made this experience a breeze!

The carpet installers were efficient and friendly. Chuck and Robert were our salespeople and I was pleased with their willingness to work around our schedule.

We were treated well by Eli, materials were ordered, and 2 weeks later we were to pick up at the warehouse. It would have helped if I had been given some directions of how to find the warehouse. The warehouse man loaded the materials into our van, then we got some help to carry the bundles into the house. I installed the flooring over the next week, as my stamina allowed. It worked out nicely.

The installer was very prompt for our repair/re-stretch appt. I greatly appreciated having no hassle to schedule a repair on our 3 year old carpet.

We were replacing the flooring in 3/4 of our new house. He came out and measured and said he would call us with a quote the next day. 5 days later I contacted him and said we hadnt gotten the quote. He said he would have it the next day. 4 days later we still hadnt heard anything. We are going somewhere else. I guess our business wasnt very important to him.

Ogden Flooring is a great place to find the best flooring for your home. Wonderful selection and great advice from their salesmen. They have their own installers who do an amazing job. They follow up to be sure everything is to your satisfaction. I will use them exclusively from now on for all my flooring needs.

We had our floor replaced by ogdens flooring 2 yrs ago unfortunately the installers didnt do a good job and the floor started cracking I was extremely upset I reached out to ogdens flooring and it did take a while but they honored their warrantee finally and replaced all the damage flooring. I really loved their new installers they were clean professional on time and very thorough, they were true to their word. The floor feels so much more solid and Im extremely happy with it now. I would have given then 5 starts if we would have had the new installers from the beginning. I did hear the old ones are no longer with ogdens flooring.

Very impressed from start to finish. Measuring was quick and accurate, and no charge. They were able to get me scheduled a week before Christmas and finished before the holidays. Installers were excellent and fast. Great experience. Would highly recommend.

Im happy with the carpet, but not too happy with the installer. The installer wouldnt even take the time before he left to look at some of the concerns we had. The guy that came out to fix the problems with the carpet install did a great job and he was very pleasant! I would give a 5 star rating if it hadnt of been for the installer.

My husband and I own Arbor Manor Event Venue & Garden. We did a remodel on our grand staircase and were fortunate enough to choose Ogdens Flooring & Design in Taylorsville for this project. They were beyond amazing to work with. They gave us a great bid for the carpet and install.They spent a significant amount of time meeting as employees and with vendors to work out all of the details of our project and the end result is stunning. Ogdens was the first stop we made in our search for new carpet. Robert was helpful and answered all of our many questions. Hes taught us about face weight and helped us locate other important specifications that we were curious about. Although we ended up getting the same carpet somewhere else for a little less, we would have trusted Ogdens as well, based on our experience.

Ogdens in Taylorsville is amazing! Ive been along time fan of Ogdens anyhow...they are the only place Ive ever purchased flooring from. Ron at the Taylorsville store is so amazing, knowledgeable, friendly and ever so helpful. Robert also helped me at the end and again, he too was so great to work with on my installation appointment. I definitely plan to go back to this store, hopefully soon for more home improvement buys! My experience this time was even better than my previous good experiences. I recommend to everyone!!!

Love the new carpet and how accommodating Ogden’s Flooring was to squeeze me in before Christmas. Also, there were two different carpets that were similar (I liked the more expensive one a little betterbut since they were so close I decided on the less expensive carpet. It ended up not being in stock, so they gave me the upgrade for the price of the one I picked out. It was my lucky day!! Or they just have really good customer service 😉

Couldn’t get worse customer service, the installers were so unprofessional one of them waltzed into my bathroom without permission and my entire Home stunk!!! They quoted me two hours and ended up being four and a half. They complained about removing the old flooring then they took a lunch break and left their food wrappers on my front porch. Seriously this was a stressful install my materials were shipped to them on a Monday, I called Tuesday and the main guy said sorry my phone was having issues???? Please save yourself time, money and stress go elsewhere.

Their customer service was above the top.We had been to three others stores the day we walked in, I was so frustrated with the lack of help we had gotten at those stores, it was refreshing to be asked how can I help you?"We actually got help! Our sales rep listened to us, started pulling samples and asked us questions until we were satisfied.Then came over to measure to make sure we got enough carpet.We are going to be doing other areas in our house, we will only be going to Steve Ogdens Flooring!

Ron provided excellent service to match the color of carpet I was looking for and explained the nap, weave and count/inch in finding a carpet for my home. I was looking for a carpet that felt soft and would be suited for a basement. He was able to come down to a good price as I had looked around the city for carpet and knew the pricing at other store’s. I highly recommend the Taylorsville store for expert service.

We had three separate bids for our flooring. All the other companies we’re not always significantly more money, but their install time was out 4 to 5 weeks. We drop by Ogden flooring on a Saturday, and by the following Friday our floor is complete at $3000 less than the Next best bid. The manager of the store himself came and measured our home, the computer software he used was far more accurate than the other companies and not 50 ft.² off of what they had bid out. From here on out, I will always do my flooring with Ogden’s.

I worked with Robert who helped us with getting new outdoor carpeting on our deck. He had many samples to choose from and we found the perfect style. Installation went off perfectly. The crew came and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Ogdens Flooring!

They were very nice though pushing to pick the expensive carpets. When they delivered the quote verbally we insisted on getting a written quote, only to learn what we were told verbally wasn’t true, ie: price on label in store which included carpet, pad, and installation, on the invoice did not and required extra pay. Square yards measured by Ogden’s were 36% more than what measured by another vendor. The installers aren’t Ogden’s employees and Ogden’s isn’t liable for any damage as written in the contract you have to sign. When we called to clarify those points we were given vague answers, followed by an aggressive tone, and then hanging up the phone in our face. I tried contacting Ogden’s corporate as they write on their website they care and want to hear from customers. No reply at all so I’m posting this review. The carpets may be good, I don’t know, could never get past figuring out the offer. Do not seem to be running an honest business based on the discrepancies between what was said verbally and what was written. Do not recommend working with them.Update in response to David’s response:David, you didn’t answer my question, that’s not honesty. You also did not reach out to us, nor did your corporate office ever reached out, even though they claim they care. I called you and you hung up the phone in my face. I didn’t even get to ask you the question about the labor and the extra charges. Your customer service was nonexistent, and the fact you’re trying to present a different picture in response to a truthful review shows even more that you are not afraid of being dishonest.

The sales staff was helpful without being overbearing. They let me take my time and look. Even though they were installing two weeks out, they were able to accommodate my three day schedule. The crew showed up earlier than I thought and we’re done faster than I planned. The installers were competent, efficient and we hardly knew they were there. I’m loving my new Lady Lair!!!

I think the company itself it decent. They gave us a good price and the staff was friendly. And it seems that they really do want to help out. That being said, I believe your experience will be based on the installer you get. We were pretty disappointed with quality of the installed product. The carpet looks great, but you can feel hard lumps when you walk on it. The installers left most of our closet doors that they removed off (Ogdens flooring is having them come back to put them back on), we had to hammer down nails that were sticking up from the tack strips and there are a couple places where you can see the seams. (Hopeful that won’t be noticeable after more use). I had also hoped that we would get that cushy new carpet feel when they were installed. I’m not sure if it’s the pad or if it’s the fact that we got cheap carpet, but all the same I was a little disappointed about that. I can’t honestly say if I would try again with them with a different installer or not.

Have waited far too long to replace old carpet. David Anderson measured the rooms in my home quickly and went the extra mile to help me find just the right carpet and padding. I was also pleasantly surprised at the turnaround time for the crew to come and install the new carpet. The quality and value are unsurpassed. Planning to do business with them again very soon!

We had such a great experience at Ogdens Flooring. We met up with Dave to look at flooring and he was so accomodating in helping us find an afordable option. He checked in during our installation process and was great to work with. We are thrilled with our flooring and will definitely go there again for our future flooring needs! We would recomend anytime to them!!

The LVT and carpet looks amazing but we definitely had some issues that still haven’t been resolved. And it’s been months and they still won’t make it right. And as much as I would like to say we would go with them again, I don’t think we would. 1We never received a final invoice including the credits for the extra flooring we returned. We just received the bill and there is no breakdown. So who knows what we are paying for. 2There is a part of the floor that is damaged and another part that gives away that they said they would fix, but after numerous calls they still won’t get back to us 3The carpet people left a huge mess after they installed and the floor people didn’t clean up after themselves. I shut bedroom doors so we can avoid dust and dirt and they had no problem opening doors so everything was covered in dust. Not the most professional company to work with.Update: Turns our the salesman was let go and they didn’t communicate that we weren’t done with everything. Robert made everything correct and fixed the damage floor and some other things. We’re actually using them to do the rest of the house soon. Definitely recommend now! Especially the price and they’re willing to work with you on any issues.

Second project with Ogden Flooring but 4 separate types of flooring. One self install planks, one Ogden installer planks, and two carpet jobs both installed by them. I think I’ve worked with all of the staff in store (3 different people at this location). They’re all very nice. Their installers were professional (and quick!). They stand by their products, have fantastic prices, are BY FAR the most patient in listening to your needs, recommend based on that information, and THEN going one step further and explaining WHY they recommend things. In the next few years were hoping to replace the main floors’ carpets and I know who we’ll be calling :)

Ogdens flooring did not have the flooring that I wanted in stock. It was ordered without hesitation. One of their personnel, came to my home the same day of ordering, to confirm measurements. And in a mater of days, I had exactly what I wanted. The installer was on time, and took great care of cleaning out old carpet. He also made sure that the new flooring was perfect and cleaned all remnants from install and vacuumed before leaving. The entire experience from start to finish was good.

Ogdens did our counter tops and then did our carpet. Both experiences were great. Good installation process and helpful friendly staff at the West Jordan store. I would highly recommend Ogdens to anyone who need flooring or kitchen/bath counters or flooring. They are AWESOME and the prices are very competitive. Thanks Ogdens.

Robert was super helpful with all my questions as a first time carpet buyer. He came out to my house twice (after I changed my mind and wanted to carpet another roomto help me design the layout of the border between the carpet and hardwood. Prices were great for the quality of carpet. We love our carpet! Great experience.

The customer service here is wonderful, and I found a flooring in the perfect color. It was easy to install myself and came out great. Special thanks to Jose for helping me out multiple times. Hes taken time to explain the benefits and downfalls of different types of flooring. He was also able to knock down the price a bit on the flooring I purchased.

Im pretty aggravated about my experience with Ogden Carpet. We went there to have a custom rug made. We really didnt care how much it cost, we just wanted to get something that met all of our expectations. When talking with the customer salesman, both my wife and I understood that we were getting a rug that was constructed as such: Carpet, padding up to about 6 inches from the perimeter, then backing (to prevent scratching of wood floors), and then surged binding to tie it all together. It took about a month because of the surging, but we didnt mind.Well, today I go to pick up the rug. When I get home I realized that there is no backing or padding on the rug. So I go back to the store. The salesman said that there was no backing written down in the system even though both my wife and I specifically remember requesting it. Then the salesman said that we needed to go to Sandy to pick up the padding even though we were never told that when they called to tell us the rug was ready or when we initially picked it up. The salesman says they cant do anything and the we are pretty much just stuck with what we have and that well need to order some rug backing from Lowes and either tape it on or spray glue it on so that it doesnt scratch the floors.So I drive to Sandy to pick padding, and the guy there said that they werent expecting us and that the warehouse people were all gone for the day. He also mentioned the size of the padding order, and it is short about 2 feet for it to cover all but 6 inches around the perimeter. But he goes ahead and "helps us out" by getting the padding cut for us even though the West Jordan facility said it would be ready to pick up.So now I am at home. We initially were expecting just to roll out a nice rug in place and move the furniture on and be done. But instead I have a rug, and a big roll of padding. Apparently I am supposed to cut and glue the padding into place. I also need to purchase rug backing and at least put it around the perimeter where the padding doesnt cover. This is NOT what we expected when we purchased. Since everything was paid for already, we were offered essentially no customer service even though they botched this order up. We will not be giving Ogden Carpet any more of our future business, and we recommend that other people do the same. With all the good reviews online, I expected much better than this type of service from them.

They are great to work with. Our new laminate flooring is beautiful. The installers did an excellent job, were very courteous and did a good job cleaning up after they were done. We will definitely use Ogdens again.

Worked with Ed regarding putting a back splash in our kitchen. The process was a breeze. They didnt have the tile we wanted so they allowed us to buy the tile ourselves but then installed it for us. The installer (his name was Ed toowas very professional and great to work with. Made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and that we were completely satisfied with it. He didnt take any shortcuts and actually fixed a shortcut that someone else had done in the past. Our finished backslash is beautiful! We will use him again when it comes time to do our bathroom. Were now working with Ed again on installing carpet. He is very informative and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Never was high pressure sales and he never tried talking us into anything else. Everything was straight forward, he just gave us all the information we needed to make the right decision for our needs. I cant say enough about how much I appreciated that. Hes also gone out of his way to do what he can to keep our costs down and gave us straight forward costs with no hidden fees. Ill definitely recommend them to others and use them for any future projects we may have!

Best price & best service! The sales staff was very helpful in helping us select the product that was best for us while also informing us what was the best price. Very professional. We shopped around before making a decision to use Ogdens Flooring in West Jordan. We were very impressed with their selection and their prompt response in quoting us several options. We purchased new laminate flooring and carpet throughout our entire home. Robert and Ed (Salesmanwere both extremely helpful and courteous during and after the process. The installers are great and hard working, they were able to level our subfloor prior to installing the laminate flooring, we could tell they truly care about quality not just about getting another sell. We had a great experience at Ogden flooring in West Jordan. The sales man and the installer were both nice and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to get the product we wanted at an affordable price. I felt like they wanted our business and wanted us to be happy, not the other way around. They communicated well, were honest, helpful, etc. The customer comes first at their business. Also, we havent had to worry one bit about the installation process. The job has been well done in our home, no cutting corners. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for flooring!!
