Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Sussex County

Disgusting bathroom, served limp stale salad hair in my soup Whole place needs a deep deep clean.

Quick service, clean restaurant with good food!

Hostess seated us immediately. Server took our order. Joy M. Breadstick and beverages served. Salad served. A bit of a wait but understandable. It was 6pm. Party of 5. Server served food with each plate and drink hitting table a bit loudly. Everyone got 2nd/3rds on drink. My back was toward where server would come in. Seated at table by the windows section. I was never asked if I wanted a second bowl of soup. I pushed “call server” button. Never answered. Turned it off 4 minutes. Everyone is just about finished. I told them if she comes back I would like another soup. Went to restroom. Table was partially cleared and was told soup was coming. Got soup in about 3-4 minutes without grated cheese offered and again table was getting cleared off. Server returned to see if all good. I requested cheese. She got it on there somehow by borrowing another servers grater? I don’t know. Cheese was in the soup on the side of bowl. Not presented correctly but then it wasn’t a nice way. I would accept it if I was home and my grandkids served it. I ate it while everyone waited for me. I took a sip of what I had my first glass of raspberry ice tea. Put it down to finish my soup and my drink was gone. So with all that said, I had 4 bowls of salad, great for digestive system 2 soups (which I usually have 3-4 of and 2 saladsno drink to wash it down. She came back and I looked at her and requested another ice tea. That took 6 minutes. Went to get up before receiving it because I had enough patience to leave and she put it on the table and threw a straw next to it. We all said our goodbyes and thank you. I told my kids to take grandkids to car because I was not too happy with Joy M service but they waited patiently with me until I finished my meal. I never had a problem with Salisbury location so I felt this had to be shared. Thank you for reading!!

The food was hot, delicious, and ready on time. The staff and manager were really nice.

The outside is dirty. The sidewalks are black, right across the street both Longhorns steakhouse, and red lobster have clean outsides. Seriously clean up your outside.

The food was excellent as always...The service was great ...Better music to set an enjoyable ambiance could be better rather than the 1950 music that reminds you of how life was in the 50s for a black person...My date loved her mojito and 6oz steak well done...I enjoyed my chicken Alfredo with a side of red tomato 🍅 sauce...My Italian margaritas was perfect 🥰 💞 😋The bathroom needs an update ...The hostess was gorgeous always a plus ...Our waitress Donna was a chit-chat box but she did her job well enough to get a 30% tip guaranteed...Lack of managers coming around talking to the people asking them how was the service or how the food was a missed...Overall a solid 4stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🤩 ⭐️ 🌠 💫 ✡️ well done Olive Gatden of Salisbury Maryland

Have not been to OG in years, but was pleasantly surprised by the menu selection and the excellent service by Brittany B. Only fault, dinner partner and myself were COLD. Air conditioner was apparently set on very high. Ill bring a sweater, if I return

Usually Olive garden is amazing; especially considering the great prices. Unfortunately last week when we went the zuppa tuscana soup didnt have much flavor or much kale.(that soup is the main reason I go to olive garden.The bread was a little hard and old tasting. My brother got the chicken parm and he said it was ok but only took a few bites then boxed it up (and he always finishes his foodlol So I think he was just trying not to complain. We told the server everything was great because with those cheap prices you cant expect perfection every time. The calamari and the peach tea were both amazing as always. The server was a bit busy but stil managed to give great service.

My wife and I frequent Olive Garden couple of times a month. Always seated in a reasonable amount of time. Food is always wonderful. Never expensive. Definitely worth it. Great atmosphere and all the employees are ki d and friendly

The food was good but the service terrible. The server was probably overworked but not my fault. It is Olive Gardens fault. It was pricey. Not in a hurry to return.

Pleasent, friendly but a serious musty odor. Food was as expected and not disappointing.

Excellent service this evening with waiter Zack, only issue was with paying, he said we could pay at front station, incorrect, which was ok until Im assuming his boss decided to be a real witch about it, everyone makes mistakes, but she took off in search of him to tell him he did something wrong, instead of finishing letting us pay our bill, she took off with our gift cards, I wasnt happy with the way this was handled, maybe a little more training for Zacks superior or whomever she was, but he really did an outstanding waiting on us, her, I wouldnt ever recommend, wish Id gotten her name. Thanks Zack fo making our anniversary dinner a great meal

No wait for a table, good service, and excellent food serviced hot and within 5 minutes of order.

Lunch specials less than 10 bucks are awesome. Great bang for the buck!!

Aways love Olive Garden but wo things bothered me this trip to the Salisbury Md one .One as soon as we sat down this awful dirty smell was deff apparent. The waitress did not really know what from. But being she had been on her shift awhile she prob didnt even realize it. Sorta smelt like dirty carpet or a restroom.Then in my opinion I think parties with children should have a kid section . The party behind us hd children ND they was wild. Yelling n making loud noises even other customers was looking. It was rediculous. Trying to enjoy a dinner peacefully. The food and service was Good. Ty.But should find out the smell,and work on the children having a section with their parents !

I was very disappointed in our food. It was not good and the salad was horrible. Were there salad has always been the best. Service was great. But that was about it.

Our server wasnt attentive to begin with...had to wait 15 minutes and there were PLENTY of tables...and quite frankly, I make better tasting Italian food! It tasted so bland, felt like I had spaghetti, not angel hair with stewed tomatoes on it...we remember why we dont eat here anymore.

We love this place. We do miss the stiffed chicken marsala they removed from their menu since covid started. That was the absolutely best dish. They do have low calorie dishes, which we appreciate. Nice atmosphere.

From the hostess to are waiter Brendon (spelling), we had exceptional service. Are waiter was busy and still managed to keep on top of are drinks, breadsticks, and soup.Food was delicious. 😋

We havent been to an Olive Garden in some time, but we will definitely be back. Our server, Zach, was absolutely amazing! The food was all great. Also, this was mothersday, and they were slammed. But, everyone was attentive, and nothing took to long.

We were seated right after walking in. The hostess is so welcoming and sweet. Our server April was very pleasant and attentive. Great personality to work with the public. I hesitated to order calamari but April assured me I would enjoy it. Boy was she right! I also had the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonarra and my husband had the Tour of Italy. Everything was seasoned appropriately and perfect temperature. Cant wait to return.

Had a great time at Olive Garden tonight! The service and food was excellent. Marrissa was our server. For every bad server I have ever had in my life Marissia made up for it. Marissa should be used in an Olive Garden commercial her service was above and beyond. She made my birthday so special!!! It’s nice to see someone who cares about the service that others receive!!!

The servers were fantastic, and even though they were packed in there~ they were still sitting people down in there fairly quickly. However, we both ordered a drink (which were about #8/ea.), and they were both the tiniest drinks ever seen. Neither of them were made properly, and they were just not worth it at all. We didnt order any more is anything alcoholic after that. Should of stuck to water!! I even complained when they first brought them to us, yet no one offered to take them back, compensate, etc. Very disappointing! The food was wonderful though!! ....everything but the bread sticks, which were ALL hard on the bottom. Lastly, we both ordered desserts, waited about 12 minutes for them to bring them to us, only to have our server return to tell us (as well as the table next to usthat they were our of the desserts we ordered, and it was only 7:00 P.M. Overall, the servers and hostesses were great, and the actual meals were great, however everything about the rest of it was a huge disappointment!! Regretted even going! What a waste of $50+ for me!!

Our last few visits have been excellent and today our server Kayla S was the bomb. Very attentive and friendly on a busy night. We had unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks for a family of four so it was a lot of running. She is a hard worker and always smiling. Great food and service.

We had dinner there tonight. We were a part of 8 with 3 kids. Our server was amazing! We got there a little later than the rest of our party so we didnt get her name but she is also bartending there. Food was great but our service was awesome! Thank you for your patience, professionalism and great service! We loved everything about our dinner!

Placed an order of fettuccine alfredo get it to find that they tried to hide where they had put spaghetti sauce in the middle of it see photo. The bad thing is I live 30min away so I cant go back real easy.

We sat near the bar, our waiter/bartender was amazing and very friendly. The food was delicious as usual. I had the salad to go along with my entree my sister n law had a soup that was so good it had chicken, spinach, and dumplings in a broth.... very delicious.

The food was really good. I was there celebrating my cousins birthday. Our server Sergio was EXCELLENT, he handled us all very well. It a group of about 20 adults.

I came specifically for the stuffed shells and I was NOT disappointed. Great food and the wait wasnt long. I love the casual feel, yet the restaurant is very well designed. Ill be coming again for those stuffed shells!!! For sure!

This is an update to my review two months ago. Just after my post, OG reached out to see what happened and to rectify the situation. Shortly after that visit, they did a complete makeover. Im sure it was already in the works, but it still makes us feel special lol that they began right after that experience. So we walk into this asthetically beautiful hotess area. With brand new sofas, a wune rack, pictures, tv. The hotess walks up from the back, with a celebrity greeting. She walks us right away to our table. As we walk, we notice all the other new changes. She tells us whats new. Theres a brand new wine chiller in the area we are, the bar is redone, there several new wine racks within the resturant, new seating with comfy spacious sofas in the booths. Our waitress, was just as amazing as her Mom, our hostess. I mean a complete makeover turned into an even better experience. My only complaint/suggestion, is a stanley steamer clean for the carpets and flooring. There is still this funky odor that is lingering in the whole place. Smells like gym sweaty body odor. The bathrooms smelled better than than the rest of the restaurant. Otherwise wonderful.
