O'Reilly Auto Parts in Cerro Gordo County

Needed to replace a taillight before a trip. didn’t want to risk getting pulled over and slowed down so that we wouldn’t be late to our show. Ronnie said they would do 2 day shipping and it would be there in time. Then found out later we were charged for fast shipping and the part wouldn’t even be in for a week. 3 days after we needed it.So we paid extra for what would be regular shipping and have to go with a broken taillight. Then when talking with Rob, his solution is to refund the shipping, as well as refund for the part and they’re going to ship it back to the company. So now we have to go through the hassle of reordering the part somewhere else, because the staff is so inadequate. Absolutely unacceptable service.

So grateful this store had exactly what we needed. A very helpful and friendly staff.

Depends on whose working and what store you go to some of the guys are very helpful. And some dont care about anything but the clock striking the time to go home! Somethings are a little spendy for the quality of items and some are lower priced things that you can find else where, you just pay more.

I was looking for a dealer only hub bolt that GM discontinued. Both local dealerships didnt have it. OReillys on Federal said dealer only as did Tom Hovelands Napa and Advanced auto. As a last resort I tried OReillys on 4th St. Across from the fairgrounds. Theres was listed as dealer only. The associate cross referenced a Dorman number but it wasnt correct. Then he says hold on and broke out a digital caliper. Within a couple minutes he had an exact match that supposedly didnt exist. Amazing service and knowledge. No one else in Mason City had a clue. Now we dont have to postpone a trip to Mayo for my better half. Thank you OReillys on 4th !

I went in to OReillys to get a headlight and the gentleman who helps me was Bryan from the what the Receipt said asked me if I need anything else well getting to my bolt for the head light was hard to get to so I asked about tools just for that and he offered to put it in for me and did and was fast about it thanks so much Bryan

Highly recommend! They go the extra mile to HELP!I helped a friend change her liscense plate today and put on a new border. She had got the bolts it took for her car at advanced auto parts. The bolt broke off when i put it in! I suggested she take it back to advanced auto which she did. She was informed they couldnt take it back as it was opened. She said i dont want my money back. I need to exchange and get the broken head out. They passed her to another worker which got her no where. She left the screws on the counter and said she had no need for them and left. She went to OReilys and the man who waited on her came out and took the screw out and replaced it and put a new one in other bolt hole. He wouldnt take any thing for it. She said well i need two more and i will come in and pay. He went back in and came out and put her other plate on too! He wouldnt take any pay for it. I am pretty sure it was because her border said she was a proud mom of a son who served in the Reserves!! Thank YOU Orileys!! You won our respect for going the extra mile for a mom whos son served! You Have employees who have integrity and value their customers! You won our business full time!!

When I went to buy a windshield wiper and get my check engine light fixed, they were more than hospitable. They even took the time to write down the codes from my engine and helped explain what was wrong. They even wanted to help me put on my new wiper blade. All in all, I would use this service again.
