This place is impressively bad. Dr. Mancuso is the nastiest doctor I’ve ever seen in my life. I had knee problems as a teen and saw him, among several other doctors, and he was the one to tell me, quote, “I don’t know what the hell you expect me to do, you need to quit dancing.” News flash - I had arthritis and needed an arthroscopy to make my joint function again, but thank you for giving 15 year old me so much hope. For whatever reason, I gave this place a second chance after falling and jamming my finger this year. After noting that I didn’t have symptoms consistent with a sprain, the PA insisted I sprained the joint and had me buddy tape it. Not a surprise to me when it turns out to be a damaged flexor tendon, but thanks for the helpful advice that made the entire situation worse! I know I’m a 23 year old woman who couldn’t possibly have a clue about my own physical health, but I’m tired of being looked through by this place. Learn to listen to your patients and if you don’t want to be here or push someone out the door with an easy out, time to rethink your job.

Just find the nurse are patient and friendly. Very understanding. Dr stapinski is wonderful doctor. Very down earth and caring . He did my total hip replacement.

Dr. Slotkin helped my wife in doing her hip replacement surgery. She has been in extreme pain for almost 2 years. We couldnt find a doctor in network until we found him and his team! Professional and my wife feels so much better after surgery. Recommend for anyone needing hip or knee replacement.

The office was clean , I was greeted promptly and the staff was informative . I waited in The waiting area for about 5 mins which was the time it took for me to fill out my paperwork. I was taken back had X-rays and was explained everything that was going on . I was extremely impressed with Dr. Tinsley . He is very knowledgeable and explained what was going on and the course of treatment. He answered my questions and addressed my concerns ! He has a sense of humor and I trusted and respected him and the course of treatment! I was a little nervous about going here seeing the prior reviews but on my office visit I was treated with respect and didn’t have an issue ! Wyomissing office is trash .. I have an appointment for 10. I get here at 9:35.. not only am I still waiting for a scheduled appointment at 10... But they have called at least 12 other people back to be seen. Now these 12 people came in and checked in after me...

They never did help my son. Just kept scheduling him out for 6 months over and over until he was too old and issue got worse. And who gets judged later on as if I didnt do my part, I do.

My daughter has had a swollen knee for several days that would not go away. I called this morning and they fit me in for the afternoon. We were seen promptly. We had x-rays done during the visit. The initial visit lasted about an hour with the PA. And then she scheduled us for a SAME DAY MRI! very impressed! The staff was very kind and spoke to my daughter at her level.

Very rude and miserable staff checking people in. My son has a follow up in December and I refuse to take him back there. Exeter office was a much more pleasant atmosphere.

Receptionists are rude as h*ll. Not going back.

This office needs training in etiquette and customer service. Our appointment we had with the AP had a Bad attitude and rolling her eyes. Then we called when we were told to find the status of an MRI test that is needed and they were very rude On the phone and said it would take A few days for them to get approval and contact us.

The receptionists, one or two in particular need to work on being more friendly. All I have experienced is a lot of them showing annoyance and exasperation along with a condescending attitude if a simple question is asked. Once my family member is done with what they are going there for I will be looking for another Orthopedic office in the future when needed.

Nice place, decor, and great @ practicing coronavirus protocol. I just went for a 2nd opinion and I felt judged? I have 2 insurances and a job - just not in the medical field or Deka? Anywhoo things felt rushed & I dont think my voice was heard...sorry I strayed from my podiatrist for a sec who referred me to an entirely different ortho practice who are getting things done.

Website states urgent care open until 6:40. I got here at 5:00 on the dot and the lady at the front desk told me that it closes at 5:00. She could tell I was in serious pain as my knee is double the size and I am crying in pain. But because she wanted to get out on time, she would not take me at 5:00 and had the nerve to ask me to schedule an appointment for tomorrow night. This is an URGENT CARE place, not a Java brewing company. I will NEVER come back here nor will I ever refer anyone. In fact. I will do just the opposite! I am in healthcare and would do anything for my patients. Obviously Orthopedic Associates of Reading does NOT put the patient FIRST!! I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PLACE!!

I didnt mind the wait and everyone was fine.Dr Tinsley did a simple surgery to remove a ganglin cyst. Surgery went as expected. Did not get to see him after surgery or any other time. I did all that was expected, the lump seemed to still be there but figured it would go down in time. The lump never went away, fortunately the pain did go away. Jan 2020 went back to them because of lump and was told "oh we could do an MRI....I already paid for one 6 months earlier, not paying for one again.PA said oh it grew back....seriously, I said it never went away. Nothing was done and I wont go back there.Lump has now doubled in size and is starting to hurt again...

the only negative comment I have is the wait time. i actually made a point of explaining I have another appointment after this one and was told I wouldnt have to wait more than a few minutes. yeah right.

Answered all of my questions. Explained everything and it was easy to understand. Patient based!!!!!

My Mom fractured an elbow from a fall. They are very helpful here. Dr. Tinsley was very nice!!

Dr. DAdessi is a very compassionate doctor who cares about me and uses his knowledge and expertise as a surgeon to help find the best plan to help me be relieved of the pain in my shoulder and neck. I have full confidence in him as my doctor and would recommend him to anyone who needs surgery on their shoulder, arm, hand, etc.

This was my 3rd visit for Trigger finger. All the Nurses, PAs, and especially the Dr. were all very friendly and though.Because of my job I asked if we could hold off the operation until June after school is out.Procedure was explained very detailed.

I would never come back here again. Dr Mancuso is rude. I was in there is morning and he acted as if he didnt even want to see me. My husband loves this place...not Dr Mancuso, but others doctor, so if you decide to go here just remember if you dont like rude uncaring doctors dont go to Mancuso

I was extremely happy with Dr DAdessi. He took the time to explain everything to me in terms that I could understand and I highly recommend him. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because I had a very long wait in waiting room and then another very long wait in his office before seeing him. My appointment was for 11:10. I did not leave there until 12:25. I saw the Dr. for approx. 15 minutes.

Dr ONeil was, as always, straightforward. Listen to my symptoms and fully explained all of my options.

I recently had a total left knee replacement preformed by Dr. Brian Stapinski. He is an extremely skilled surgeon as well as has a great bedside manner. I was worried about bleeding after I came home. He called me back right away, and stayed on the phone with me as I changed the dressing allowing my husband to make sure the staples were all in tact then reassured me that it was normal, just increased because I was moving around more. When I thanked him, he said to me that if I was concerned, then he was concerned. I was happy with him since I started going to him last year, now I cannot say enough good things about him and his skills. I would highly recommend Dr. Stapinski for anyone looking for an orthopedic doctor or surgeon. Thank you for putting me on the road to getting my life back.

Positive experience from beginning to end. Very professional staff, virtually no wait time. My injection was nearly painless and am feeling much better today. Highly recommend!

We’ve used them for the last few years. Very courteous staff as always. PA was attentive and thorough with his evaluation. Explained everything and treated me like a person and not just the “next customer”.

They had done a very good job on a sport injury I had since Jr year in high school.That I finally broke 30yrs later

The OAR were quick to get me in and provided fast courteous care. The Dr.s and physicians assistants are very experienced and they even provide in-house rehabilitation in the basement as well as orthopedic device placement for sports injuries.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The appoint was efficient and met expectations.

From the time my 11 year old son was seen in the Reading Emergency department for his broken wrist to now after his cast is put on, Dr.Stapinksi has been wonderful. He is very personable and friendly. He explains all possibilities with us and listens to our concerns. He relates to my son which puts him at ease. Five stars for sure !

Went here to get checked out. Clean modern facility. Reception was prompt. Waiting room was open and bright with refreshments and TV. Did not have to wait long. Everyone involved was professional and kind. Saw a Physicians Assistant on my visit. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. Will go back without hesitation if needed in the future.

Had Chronic pain and saw Dr. Mancuso. Did x-rays and gave me a shot. One day later, pain is easing.

Greeted promptly and pleasantly, taken back quickly, treated with no delays. Everyone I encountered was professional and friendly. Excellent experience.

Other than locating you new facility my visit was great. Saw Dr. Slotkin. That was an enjoyable and informative experience. He gave mr 2 painless cortisone injections. I walked out with no pain. That wasn’t happening where I was going before. If I have to get to the point of knee replacement surgery, I would feel comfortable with him. It is fun to have a dr with a sense of humor. I have dialed back my terror to scared. I can’t thank him enough.

I went to this facility from a referral for a potential tendon issue. After the visit I felt as if the doctor was annoyed with my issue, but I chalked it up to perhaps a rough day, we all have them. The doctor ordered an MRI and came back to say there was no sign of a stress fracture, and made no mention of the tendon issue I was having. I cannot express how disappointed I am in the Tower Health Care system. I already had x-rays and a bone scan to rule out a stress fracture, the tendon pain was a separate issue, and all the above was shared with the doctor including previous test results. Now I have a substantial MRI bill and no answers, how is this kind of care considered acceptable?

If there was a way to give this facility no stars I would. My 2 year old son fell and broke (possibly - we never really got an answerhis growth plate in his right elbow. He was seen in the Reading Hospital by a doctor from this location, put in a splint, and was requested to have a follow up in one week. His insurance was given during this visit. After speaking to this office once during the week, we opened a letter (a physical, paper letterthe evening before his appointment stating that his insurance wasnt taken at their office and that we would have to pay out of pocket for anything done during his appointment. He was then scheduled for an appointment for Monday morning in the cast room at the ER because of the insurance issue (which I feel should have been caught prior to his visit with enough time to change the appointment). When we got to the appointment on Monday, they put my child in a cast from his armpit to his fingers all because he had a BRUISE on his elbow. There were no other xrays taken or anything! We still dont really know if he actually broke his arm or not. It seems that no one could tell us anything. Now we have to make another follow up since he had his cast taken off. He seems fine. Well probably skip going here and find a different doctor for a second opinion.(This is all very hard to put into words on a review like this, but I can tell you that if I broke every bone in my body in their parking lot, I would drag myself to another doctor asap!)*** 3 months ago I was told that I would be sent an explanation "under a different cover". I not only dont know what that means, but I never got anything. Thanks again. ***

I have been back and forth with these people for 6 MONTHS trying to get a correct bill with paperwork filed correctly! We were forced to be seen by them because their doctor was on call in our ER when my son broke his leg. They might not screw up your cast but theyll try to suck as much money out of you and your insurance as possible. AND theyll screw up the paper work insanely in the process.*Update: After they saw my review they decided to accept the discount that my insurance had been trying to apply to the account. I added a star because I appreciate the help. But you will have to work for it if you choose these guys.
