Wow the food here is on another level! Loved the wagyu flank steak and short rib. Great service too! Will return whenever we’re in the area!
Walked in, no reservation and no idea what to expect. Waiter explained the "small plates" as a few bites each - which they were. I ordered the swordfish, my husband had the bison short ribs. Food was good, what there was of it - SMALL plates indeed. My swordfish was all of 3 ounces, if that, for the price of a full dinner elsewhere. Bison short rib the same - NOT ENOUGH food for the price charged. The restaurant business has to balance Quality, Quantity and Cost; Our Harvest hit the Quality, but missed badly on Quantity and Cost. Call them what they are : APPETIZERS. Will not be back ever.
Exceptional food made with fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend the rockfish, tomahawk steak and brussel sprouts. Emily was a great server tonight. She was very attentive and fun with our family.
Top tapas spot in Ocean City and Fenwick island. Flatbreads are delicious. Try the prosciutto and arugula. Tasty! Everything is farm to table with servers proudly wearing their favorite local farm shirt. Open kitchen so you can see the staff make magic! Plenty of craft beer, excellent wine, and drinks available. You can’t miss with this spot. Another excellent creation from the Liquid Assets crew.
Charming, rustic atmosphere, decent wine selection, and a solid menu with both tapas/ small plate and large plate options.
The braised short ribs are to die for. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. We would happily drive the 3 hours to come back.
Eight of us tried this restaurant and all of us were satisfied! Lots of menu options and the food was well prepared and tasty! We were able to try a number of dishes, and everyone was able to find a new favorite. We even debated about ordering seconds, but ended up being too full, lol. We will be back next time we are in town.
Solid spot for dinner. Skip the flat bread though
Probably the best restaurant in the area. We were lucky to grab a table outside on a perfect summer evening. We had a phenomenal time and cant wait to go back. We started with some delicious Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, followed by the charred waygu flank steak, grilled swordfish, and lamb meatballs. Then for our main course we had the whole chicken, the almost traditional flat bread, and the seafood paella. The flat bread was arguably the best dish we had that night but keep mind every dish was amazing. We ended with the peach feast. A wonderful experience the we recommend to everyone visiting the area.
The experience at Our Harvest is not at all on par with the high prices. So far, only The Hobbit has met this standard in this area, in terms of food (your branzino was pretty bland and oddly sticky/chewy, focaccia was dry and had a sandy disintegrating texture), drinks (you don’t even have natural wines on your wine list?), and service (waiter was pretty absent).
‘Our Harvest’ deserves their high rating! Definitely 4.7 or 4.8 range. I gave them a four for a couple of relatively minor reasons. So, first off, they required a $25/pp deposit to make the same-day reservation. They charge the credit card and don’t deduct it from the bill at the end of the meal. They refund the deposit later. While this lends the impression you are being being lightly punished for making a reservation, do NOT be deterred- the experience is worth it. We mostly got small plates - all were fantastic. The street corn was a stand out as well as the Bronzino. Flat bread was also very good and a nice choice for the younger or more plain-palate diner. The one large plate we ordered was a seafood paella. The rice was a bit dry and gritty (all had the same commentbut it was absolutely packed with fresh seafood, which was devoured. The dessert was incredible including the blueberry bread pudding… and do not miss the peach and honey madness!! Our sever was the best. Overall, a very enjoyable meal - highly recommended!
Very nice waitress. Pleasant staff. Best meal we’ve had in the area. Large/small plate concept. We had all small plates. Nice wine selection by the glass. Did not look carefully at bottle list but varied from reasonable to expensive with good variety. Food outstanding. Negatives: bread service costly—good focaccia, unimpressive sourdough, served with butter and blueberry butter (really good). French onion soup over browned. Mushroom flatbread had too much cream but otherwise very good. Great Wagyu flank steak. Excellent swordfish. Amazing chanterelles with corn, chicken schmalz and grivenes. Delicious soft shell. Peach tomatoes with nice dressing. Desserts fantastic. Chocolate hazelnut pot du creme, blueberry bread pudding and ice cream, grilled carmelized peaches with blueberry mascarpone.
Great meal and atmosphere. The wagu beef feast was a little over cooked but still tasty. The small plates were all good. Calimari, olives and almonds, etc.
Oh my gosh, so glad we found this place and cant wait to go back next year! Had lots of options for my vegetarian self and my omnivore husband. The service, atmosphere, and food were all amazing. We had the Daily Bread, Frites (these are thin which we wanted), Kentucky Fried Cauliflower (does not come breaded), Wagyu Steak Tartare (husband wished there was more), and Hazelnut Pot De Creme. 😋
Delicious and creative food! Amazing vegan options which I hope they will expand on, super fresh food, high quality, great service!
Our harvest is hands down our favorite restaurant. We go often, and always have a delicious meal. The staff is so friendly and caring, and always recognize us and make a point to ask how we are, especially the manager Kevin. He takes great care of his customers and is always going above and beyond to help! The menu is incredible, and the fact that they bring in seasonal dishes is great because we always have something new and exciting to try.
What a great night at a great restaurant! The food, as always, was delicious and the service was above and beyond. Rex and Riley behind the bar were perfection, and GM Kevin sang us happy birthday over the peach feast. Highly recommend this place.
The one star is only based on the manager this evening. We go every year since they opened sometimes 2x a summer food and service is always good! The manager came into the back room where we were seated tonight, on 2 different occasions. Asking diners how their food and overall experience has been.I guess the table of 4 near the door wasnt on his radar or concern because he chose both times not to bother to ask us about our food and experience. My words for you buddy is get your head out of your a** and treat all guest like they matter!
It was a first visit for many in our group and our server took time to explain the plates to each of us and made sure we understood the prep time of each item. Customer service was above and beyond. It was my friend birthday and her fiancee had called from Ireland to cover a round of drinks. This was explained as soon as we were seated. Again, phenomenal customer service. We were the last table seated as we celebrated with dessert and drinks after our meals, and we were catered to by the entire staff. Drinks and plates were built creatively and with amazing appearances. We all decided that birthdays must be celebrated here from now on. Thank you, again!
Excellent creative menu and assortment of options. Super professional culinary staff. Great time at the bar or reserved table. Fun, fresh and innovative. Love it!
Absolutely loved everything we had there. Not a single bad dish! Highly recommend the vegetable dishes, carrots, mushrooms, squash, fries, and cauliflower. The pizza or what they call flat bread is amazing! Better than most pizza restaurants in NYC. The tomahawk steak is amazing. Better than Peter Lugers. Must have! We also had both the seafood and meat paella and they were both really good. The American wagyu flank was really good as well. Highly recommend this restaurant! My favorite restaurant in OC! Service was great! Prices are very reasonable, downright cheap for the quality food you get! DELICIOUS!!!
Amazing farm to table menu and food as well as flawless service, especially when it came to advising us on our menu. Drinks were not only aesthetically pleasing but delicious. Absolutely would recommend this restaurant
You can start at the bar, and for $15, order a drink and have the young bartender loudly complain about you from the other side of the bar.The bread is not complimentary, but it comes dry and stale at no charge. We tried both the Seafood and Veggie paella, which is more of a rice soup.
Absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommend making a reservation, but if not the bar atmosphere is great! Bar tenders are wonderful and very friendly. Food was amazing, the best date night at the beach by far! This is a must go if youre anywhere near Fenwick!
Our Harvest used to be my favorite restaurant, but their food did not live up to what it used to be a few years ago. We had much better luck and a great evening at their sister company Liquid Assets.
Absolutely fantastic meal, food and drinks were both worth the hype!
Yes, worth the hype. Spendy but memorable. Our Harvest is a tasty experience at the beach. Reservations Recommended, but they cost, too. From my Instagram post:Just Wow. It took us a while to try out @ourharvestde on #FenwickIsland. TBH Mom originally thought it a little too fancy when they charged $10 for bread. But let me tell you the dining experience was memorable. We started with the grilled Baby Caesar salad & shared the 32 ounce Wagyu flank feast. We’ll, kinda shared - see pic of dad stealing the whole platter! The Caesar did indeed have an amazing charred taste to it even though the lettuces were not burnt. Delish. Our Harvest does like to char, though - observed some of the breads were TOO burnt for total dining enjoyment. Maybe you can ask for toasted not roasted or burnt? Now to the feast: It has been many many years since Ive had steak this flavorful and tender. Mom & Dad concurred. It was sliced and served with blistered tomatoes, olives, roasted garlic, local asparagus, capers, and the most craveable bagna cauda and topped with artisan piquant feta. Mmmmmmm.Amazing! Yes, believe the hype and yes it was well worth it! Don’t hesitate to try this wonderful place. Our server Skyler was amazing, too! And the hard-working bussers & an eighth grader really hustling it impressed the middle school teacher in me!My only suggestion is don’t bother wearing your fancy black Chanel twinset the white cotton table napkins shed & will leave fuzzys all over you! lol Next time I’ll wear my usual Google T-shirt and hoodie uniform & not worry! The only disappointment was the daily bread for $10. Northeast Kitchen has table bread is more flavorful and its complimentary. My Mom makes the BEST home made focaccia that is light, tender, and airy. This was a bit stodgy and the sour dough was a bit hard. But that was the only miss in an otherwise spectacular dining experience.Visiting again for Fathers Day and to celebrate my retirement. Really? Just an excuse to go back. Well update if needed.PLEASE NOTE: Reservations must be made online up to 2 weeks in advance and require a $25 per person deposit. #NoRegrets.TL:DRFancy locally sourced vittles, delicious and inventing preparations in a rustic atmosphere, with amazing service -- what’s not to like?
Awesome food in a warm, rustic chic space. We ordered off the small plates menu, sharing each dish and loving them all, minus the beef tartar which needed some salt and acid. The favorites were the oysters (both raw and cooked), the short ribs, and the cacio e pepe pizza. We look forward to coming back and trying out more of the menu, especially the family style entrees.Update: we returned a second time and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed a wonderful mix of surf and turf small plates, ending with a strawberry short cake that left us wanting to return for a third time.
We enjoy coming to Our Harvest, especially when we have family in town. The food is amazing, great specialty cocktails, nice atmosphere and service is on point. I want to give a huge thank you to the manager Skylar last night. My son took a bad spill and he was very attentive and helped us out wonderfully. I come from a restaurant background and his customer service was greatly appreciated. We will be back again!
Rob was a great server, food and drinks were good.
Fantastic dinner tonight at the bar. We shared a few small plates. They all were delicious. Definitely my favorite was the lamb meatballs. It’s a must try. If you like really good food, as a chef I recommend you this place. Thank you Matt!
A delightful place to dine and drink. My son took me there for my birthday and we ordered small plates. The Wagyu steak is absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the brussel sprouts and he and his date loved the steak tartar. I assure you, you will enjoy this unique dining experience and the customer service is second to none!
We visited on New Years Day - off season, a holiday, and during COVID. No excuses - they were busy, welcoming, the service was fabulous, and the food was memorable. Given how fantastic they were last night? We will be back!!
My boyfriend and I walked into Our Harvest tonight without a reservation to celebrate a special occasion. Knowing it was the Thursday before New Years Eve, we anticipated a wait. Unfortunately, the hostess informed us that they were fully booked for the evening but told us we were welcome to sit at the bar with a full service menu. As my boyfriend and I were making a decision, the manager, Kevin Richardson, kindly greeted us. Without hesitation he ran to the back of the restaurant and made seating for two at a table. Kevin was unaware that we were celebrating a special occasion. He was so kind and helpful while accommodating us. Apart from the outstanding service, the food was also spectacular. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you for making our evening so special Kevin!
Would give it 6 stars if possible. Atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. You can tell staff truly care about your experience and go out of the way to ensure your dinner is top notch. Food is out of the this world good.
What a fantastic experience. Its obvious that they care about food. We had numerous small plates (roasted oysters, burratta, beef carpaccio, tuna poke, lamb meatballsthen 3 feasts (roasted black bass, paella and flank steak). The fish was the best weve EVER had! It tasted like it was caught right before we ate it. Nice wine list as well. Oh and excellent dessert.. We had the sticky toffee pudding and outstanding peach pastry in cast iron.As you can tell, we had much of the menu. Our server Ruby was attentive and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend Our Harvest!
Been wanting to go here for a couple years now since they opened. Finally had the chance. Lived up to the hype for sure. Call a week in advance for a reservation. The smoked old fashioned at the bar before we were seating was delicious. The wagyu flank steak feast was hands down the best flank steak Ive ever had. The whole Arnold Palmer chicken was crispy, moist, and full of flavor. The veg feast gave us excellent sides of fingerling potatoes, roasted shishito peppers, and the surprise side winner, the squash with some kind of cheese melted on it. So good! Topped off everything with the Peach feast - grilled peaches atop a bed of blueberry mascarpone cream with blueberries and slivers of mint on top. Not too sweet or heavy. The perfect dessert. Also had the sticky toffee pudding served warm with vanilla ice cream. Left the perfect Fishers caramel corn aftertaste in the best way. Overall we were blown away with the whole experience. Service was top notch too. Instantly, we have a new favorite at the beach!
Amazing! Great food that is hand crafted. Everything is very unique and flavorful. We have been here numerous times, as locals, and it is always top notch
Great meal at the bar, lovely cocktails, and solid service. Smokey old fashioned* stuffed squash blossoms*roast oysters*manhattan*pan roasted cauliflower. Dont forget dessert!
Comfortable atmosphere, with options to elevate the dinning experience, or keep it low-key. Private areas available. Reservations recommended for summer 2021. The food was gone before pictures could be taken to document how beautifully plated our selections were! The Wagu beef starter, Stuffed Squash Blossoms, and the Seafood Paella are excellent. Roasted Chicken doesnt immediately make you think of a high-end food experience, but this brined and roasted version is a palate pleasing winner!
Oh emm gee! Found this gem by happy accident when we drove north too far trying to decide where to eat. First impression when we walked through the door: the hostess greeted is with a big smile as we gazed across the open kitchen, huge bar, and warmly lit dining areas. The experience: We were seated to the right of the bar at a solid wood, rather rustic looking table adorned with three place settings which included leather placemats. There was a single candle on the ledge next to the table adding just a touch of light and warmth. The bar area includes several big screen televisions as bars are wont to do. There is also a lounging area with the leather couches surrounding a wood-chest table. The bathrooms were clean and decorated to match the style and mood of the restaurant.Im not a foodie. I like to eat delicious food, but Im not someone who goes out of their way to make/eat fancy and delicious food on a regular basis. I can count on one hand the number of times that Ive eaten at a restaurant that has a date on the top of the menu. This is one of those digits. The menu - limited by the seasonal transition - was divided into three sections - small shareable dishes, feasts for 2 or more, and flatbreads. Your waitress will do a fantastic job of explaining it to you.The ingredients are sourced locally and the freshness comes through in the food.Im not going to talk about the specifics of what we ordered. Those items may not be on the menu when you go. They change the menu based on the fresh food available locally. Rest assured that whatever you order will be lick-the-plate delicious. It wasnt inexpensive. And the portions arent the attraction. If you are in the mood to treat yourself to a fantastic dining experience while visiting the shore, Our Harvest is the place to go.
First...feast your eyes on the decor. Dont rush the process. Second, order the bread BUT dont eat it all even though the compound butter tells you otherwise. Third, interact with your server. We had Sasha. Her smile lights up the room. Fourth, order lots of small plates. If youre a lamb lover, the lamb loins and meatballs are a must. Remember I said save some bread? Well now thank me because all the sauces are delicious and the bread is a much more acceptable way to scoop it all up rather than your fingers😉. So the last thing is the food. And to that, I will simply say, "There are no words to describe ambrosia, the food for the gods!" Thank you, Mr. John!
There is good food at the beach! Our Harvest brings the concept of Spanish tapas and small plates to life showcasing Eastern Shore’s bounty. Decent wine list with lots to choose from beyond the same old found at most OC restaurants. Not to be missed for locals and visitors alike.
INCREDIBLE meal. Exquisite contrasts of flavors, creative pairings, farm fresh food, excellent service and perfect ambiance and vibe. Is there a 6 star?
We went to Our Harvest for a date night at the beach and I am SO HAPPY we did! This was the best food we’ve had in a while and the staff was amazing. JJ was so nice and we met Paul (the bartender I think that was his nameand the owner Kevin. Everyone went above and beyond to make our experience amazing! I can’t wait till we are back in town to go here again! Highly recommend the bread, carrots, burrata and Cauliflower!!
Goodness. Its a guaranteed phenomenal adventure start to finish (less the coffee, which for me was a preference - acidic - not strong - type or time on). From impeccable service to watching the kitchen run, EVERYthing is ON POINT. Quite the gem for the area to have. I really hope theyre open year round because we will go each time I am back visiting family in Frankford and Fenwick Island. Beautiful decor. Salivating taste experiences. Just know that family options serve 4 or leftovers for 2 once youre starting with smalls and appetizer courses. Even worth a designation trip just to eat out.
We ordered 3 smalls (eggplant and burrata + tomato salad as well as Caesar salad - not picturedand a flatbread (crab meatand everything was absolutely delicious. Service was good, too! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Two words. Ridiculously amazing. The food was so fresh, you could definitely tell. The chef on the grill had was extremely talented. Ive eaten food from Award winning chefs, and this was better. Definitely one of the best meals Ive ever had. We came for our 2nd anniversary, and the service and attention to detail with my shellfish allergy was 2nd to none. The seared Wagyu beef melted in our mouths. The peach feast was next level. Savory, sweet, packed full of flavor. If you are ever in this area, Id call it a must stop! Be prepared for small shareable plates and a memorable dining experience.
This place is more to share tapas with your crew. Everything was very good. Particularly: goat cheese, bread, squash, and my Yuri de Force. Vegetables plate is very big. Squash are only two balls and bread is a must, it is made there. The decoration is very welcoming.
This place was fantastic! The food was outstanding- it was delicious, came in huge portions (seriously the feasts for 2 are actually enough for 3-4), and about half of the seating comes with a kitchen view so you can watch the chefs and for preparers work their magic. The menu isnt the biggest, but everything they have is really good. Theyve got it down to a science. They also have a big drink list and lots of wine selections. Our waitress made some really good recommendations to pair with our feast. You cant make reservations, so dont expect a table as soon as you walk in, however, there is a bar and several lounge areas with couches to sit and order drinks and appetizers while waiting. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The overall atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The prices may seem like more than average, but keep in mind that the portions are huge! My wife and I had an incredible experience here and would love to come back. I fully recommend Our Harvest to any and all. It was a fantastic culinary experience!
