First time trying and will definitely be back! The owner is so friendly and the customer service is top notch! loved the fresh gelato and the pizza is FABULOUS!

This is my absolute favorite pizza place! Their homemade crust is amazing and the Margherita pizza with the balsamic drizzle on it is fantastic. The prices are very fair for the quality of food yoh get. It is well worth the 30 minute drive to get it! And the gelato is the best Ive had since living in Europe, the banana cream pie flavor is DIVINE (I literally crave it).The owner is so nice and you can tell he works very hard, its not easy owning a small business but they put out great product and we will keep coming back again and again for the delicious pizza and gelato!

Local pizza. Great customer service. Delicious thin crust pizza and cauliflower pizza! If you wait an extra or minute or two, it’s well worth it! And dessert is waiting for you after!!! We will be back!

Gelato is amazing!!!!!! However the pizza was not as impressive however that may just be my opinion. It was not bad, in fact the toppings were quality its mostly the crust for me. But absolutely go get their Gelato. Best in town.

Lackluster pizza that is overpriced. If the pricing matched the ingredient quality it could be great. The sherbet is ok, but the craft rootbeer was decent.

Heard really good things about this place and was disappointed. I asked for no olives and ham, specifically saying they could make the pizza without and put them on anyway. Picking up my food I kindly told them that their diet coke tasted really watered down and the guy looked at me like I was crazy and said very coldly, Ill look into that thanks. Their food isnt anything special either.

Great menu, something for everyone. Pizza crust is made in house. The gelato is wonderful! So many delicious flavors and if you want something specific, they will customize your gelato.Friendly staff.

I got the margherita pizza. The size just above personal size. It was so tasty. Perfectly done. A good portion of all ingredients. Really happy with my food court choice.

I’ve not had pizza this light or filling . . . ever. The crust was fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside, and it wasn’t soggy, either. It didn’t have the texture or taste of seasoned cardboard. Jared and Brent were keeping the fire lit tonight, and were extremely kind and had a positive attitude - two things in short supply lately. I went with the 10” Meat Madness, paired with a kids size Cheesecake Gelato. Both, I assure you, we’re amazing my wife went with a personal chicken bacon avocado, and had s’more gelato. Excellent on all accounts, these guys definitely warrant a visit. Patronize their fine corner of the Layton Hills Mall Food Court at your pleasure, and prepare for filling fare that doesn’t leave you bloated or running for the nearby restrooms . . .

Amazing comfort food at an affordable price!!! As soon as we’re done eating we will be going back for some of their home made gelato. Customer service was top notch as well! Made us feel comfortable and right at home!

Really friendly owner, makes all his own gelato recipes, which are fantastic I would add! Pizza, house salads, wings etc. His goal is to own a restaurant outside the mall, so..we should definitely help him get there. Super delicious ❤️

Pretty good place. Staff was friendly and helpful, Pizza was really good and they made it quickly. They also have options for vegan pizza which is difficult to find and I really appreciate that. Definitely would come here again

I ordered the Extreme personal pizza with tomato. Realize they bake it when you order it. It takes about 15-20 minutes. I got the side salad, as well. The pizza was good; nothing special, but better than frozen. May or may not go there again.

Was looking for somewhere with good food, that wasnt plain and boring fast food. This place was up to the job. Menu has handmade pizzas that dont look like everyone elses menu, and cooked perfect. Even the fries were perfect, and Im not a fries person.

This place is outstanding! Great pizza and Gelato, perfect every time, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The owner works there all the time and he remembers his regulars. I recommend this place to anyone whos looking for pizza in or near Layton.

I work in the mall and get extremely tired of eating the same things in the food court. I love that Overland Pizza has lots of choices. They have a very large menu which I appreciate. The staff is very kind and helpful and for that alone, earned them a 5 star review from me. Today was my first visit and Im looking forward to going back to get something different another day. The pizza I choose was hot and fresh and pretty good. Though Ive had better pizza other places it was still something Id have again.

We got a pepperoni personal combo...and was amazing...personal was so friendly and very helpful and kind...even asked us if would we like to try ice cream samples...I mean for was on is point...clean fast and delicious

Im not a big pizza fan, but Overland Pizza makes it just the way I like. LOTS for pineapple! Crust is yummy. The chicken on the pizza is just the right amount. Ill be going here until the end of time!

I came in today and purchased a Hawaiian pizza and the lady allowed me to substitute the ham for sausage and she was really nice about it, we also ordered the Gelato cheesecake and turbo choc very good. I usually eat at the pie pizza place but there wasn’t one in the mall of course, however this will definitely be my second choice when I’m in the area. Wish they had one in bountiful. Anyways great experience thank you to the crew today for the great service 😬😬😬

They took my order and were very kind and personable. The food was good. I got a personal pizza, salad and the bread bites. The pizza was yummy, crust is delicious, the thickness is somewhere between thin and normal but not bulky, the sauce was yummy too. The salad was a good size for the money and had all the toppings I like on a salad. The gelato was yummy, lots of different flavors. I got the cheese cake and grasshopper flavors. They were smooth and creamy.

Fantastic friendly service that went above and beyond my expectations. Food was so delicious and very fulfilling, had leftovers for later. Pricing was great for the amount of food received. Would highly recommend.

I come out to the mall occasionally for my lunch break (I work very close byand for some reason I didn’t give these guys a shot until recently even though I have a soft spot for pizza. Shameful!Good food from a small business? Yes please. Workers are nice, and I enjoy eating from here. Food is made to order, but worth the wait. Better than the chains.Their third party online order system is janky and a work in progress, but it works 😂

Super great! I wish we lived in the area, but my wife and I are super impressed with them. The owner was able to visit with us about whether their ingredients are processed or not. Grateful to say they are very natural. They pay more to buy better ingredients, so the quality of their pizza and the taste is so much better. And they make their Gelatos in shop. Highly recommend!

This place is great. Went back twice in one week because we were so impressed. Weve had the gelato, pepperoni, margarita and philly cheese steak pizza. Everything was so delicious and the pizza had such an amazing cheese pull. Also the workers are cool.

What a fantastic upgrade to the otherwise chain heavy mall food courts. The pizzas are absolutely amazing! And every single one is fresh made to order, no heat lamps here. The "Fredo fries" are incredible, and a meal by themselves. The gelato is fresh, delicious, and oh so refreshing. If there is something you want and its not on the menu just ask. Since everything is fresh to order making special requests is no problem. My favorite part is its local family owned and operated. A true community eatery.

Good food and better service! They accidentally burnt my pizza (which I wasn’t even mad aboutbut the manager came out to let me know it’d be a bit more time since they had to make a new one, but then they upgraded my pizza size and gave me a free cookie! Great service and a great staff!

I came here on a Sunday with my daughter close to closing time (I know.. I’m the worse). The service was absolutely amazing. The food was absolutely amazing. My 4 year old ate a whole 6” pizza to herself, we shared the most amazing Lemon Sorbet, and even the side salad was delicious. I wish I could buy a whole container of the Lemon Sorbet... We will be back.

First off the customer service top notch. This group are fun, sincere and are willing to please. They go out and beyond, and their kindness is genuine. The food is good, and the one key ingredient that I found is that they are willing to improve their product. You can tell they’re still tweaking to provide a wonderful product. I’ve had their keto bowls, their cheese steak pizza and cheese pizza. I really enjoyed them all, and add the fact that they are working hard to provide a good experience. Also let’s talk gelato... it’s awesome! I had the s’mores gelato and it was delicious, the gram cracker was really good. So keep up the good work and if you haven’t checked this place out do so!

So glad I decided to try this restaurant! The menu offers a great variety of items and I have to say that every single thing I tried was incredible! I got the personal pan meal, (just a plain cheese pizza with a side of garlic parmesan coated fries and a lemonadefor about $6.99, an order of the Fredo fries (pure heaven 😇 regular fries coated with Alfredo sauce, chopped bacon and sliced banana peppersand a small tiramisu gelato for the road. My favorite dessert is tiramisu and have never had it in a ice cream/gelato preparation, so I was really excited to get this! Definitely did not disappoint... beautiful subtle flavor and a lovely texture. Additionally, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean, organized and appeared pretty established for being a fairly new restaurant.I dont make it to the mall very often but I would seriously go out of my way just to go get some grub from Overland! Thank you for the amazing food and service 🤤👏🏼
