Visited with a group from the V-Strom owners forum over the August bank holiday weekend.Busy as you would expect but the staff were doing everything they could to serve everyone quickly.Great cakes!

Disappointed.The burger was of really poor quality. Lots of gristle in it that made it terribly unpleasant. Bacon and coffee were good though. Shame no chips available.

Food was fine and plenty of parking. Bought food and drink but young lady serving me refused to give me a glass of tap water on a day with temperature at 30 degrees and told me they sold it in a bottle. It was in the fridge!

Not been for awhile but the Owls Nest just keeps on getting better , its a must for all bikers in south / West and mid Wales. Visited the Owls Nest when it first opened, years ago, the service was slow, rude, and the order when it did eventually turn up was wrong. We said never again. Returned last weekend 14/8/22 unfortunately it has not changed, staff do not acknowledge you at counter, to the extent that we did not bother to order, and we returned outside.They then decided to close the premises on a whim for a break, because the staff were were too hot..!It MAY have been hot, but put staff on alternate breaks.Meanwhile all the visiting bikers, who no doubt were very hot and in need of refreshments, were left waiting and moaning in a queue outside.The owner is obviously having it too good at this place, mainly I suspect because bikers will keep returning, because it now has a reputation as a bikers cafe.But I am sorry, I loathe having to leave a bad review, but of all the unhappy bikers in attendance there last weekend, it seems no other person has reviewed this.They need to focus on their customers, starting with the simple things, politeness.I fully appreciate, whilst leaving this review, our group might have visited there on two bad days for them.

We arrived en mass last weekend 40 bikers in sweltering heat. The staff were most probably melting but they managed to cater for everyone in a timely manner. And kept their cool with hot and bothered undecisive clients .

My first visit to the place, but no the last, lovely location plenty of parking, out of town , good food and coffee , good selection of cakes. Just what the bikers need. Recommended.

This place is situated in lovely scenery. We stopped for lunch but that clearly overwhelmed the staff and a bacon and egg roll took over 30 mins to deliver. Also, I think very poor, was that due to a long day out, a few of us were low on funds so asked for tap water only to be told they were not allowed to serve it and we had to but a small bote, however, being a hot day, one bottle was no where near enough. This place need to look at that as for that reason, I wont return.

Was recommend to us by 2 different people and doesnt disappoint. Great place, great atmosphere .helpful friendly staff . Food is great value for money . The breakfast baguette defeated me 🤣 120 miles from home but we will be visiting again on the motorbike .

Great outdoor seating area and plenty of parking however the food is definitely quantity over quality and the service is poorI had a full breakfast the eggs were rock hard when I asked for runny eggs I was told I should of asked for runny eggs so tuffThey will not be seeing me again.Use the west end cafe in the town, loads better

Spot on biker stop over. Fantastic breakfast too. Car drivers are welcome too. In fact everyone is welcome. Nice big covered in outside area and a clean cafe. Give it a look if your in the area. We made a detour to go to it. Not disappointed

Staff very helpful and friendly, order your food inside and when the food is ready, if you are sat outside the food is brought to your table. Overall a very enjoyable experience food delicious.

I brought my Mum and Aunt here for lunch. My Aunt was in a wheelchair and we were able to navigate the cafe and outdoor seating area. The staff were very friendly and the portions were huge! Excellent value for money. They also look after their staff well, as it was a warm day and they closed up for 15 mins for an ice cream break outside, to allow the staff to cool off, while it was quiet.Will definitely be back on the bike next time. 👍

Not bikers, but stopped for a cream tea and hot chocolate. Owls nest hot chocolate was amazing. The scones were a bit dry tbh, but the staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere

Amazing food, amazing staff, love going here. Personally I dont mind the wait (if there is onesince the place is stupidly popular. Staff are treated well, visitors aswell.Also get to see alot if bikes everytime in there 🥳

Love this place. Always other bikers to chat with from all over Wales. Food is way better than the West end cafe in Llandovery. Ill be back

Ian has a great setup in the Cafe with a lot of friendly banter and a welcome both at the same time. The custard slices are what pull the majority of people into the cafe but once youve been once youll be sure to call again. The award winning Cafe is the best in Llandovery when it comes to value for money along with a great rest. The parking area is more than adequate even for the most nervous of riders too as your away from the main road theres also a peace of mind that your bike is safe 😉

All day breakfast.Sat outside under a large covered area.Plenty of tables to sit.Very popular with bikers.

Good food and relaxed atmosphere. Caters for multiple diet types, nothing is a problem, for example the keto breakfast. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere at this bikers cafe, ordered the steak, mushroom and onion baguette. First time ever there was too many onion........great. Ill be back very soon.

Pretty good biker stop. The food portions are massive and it’s pretty basic, cheap food which is pretty greasy, I’d definitely stop for cake and coffee again but might avoid the heart attack food.

Called into the Owls Nest for lunch been out on the motorcycle all morning so we were feeling a bit hungry. Very good value for money with secure off road parking. Tables inside and out under gazebos. Highly recommended when your up around Llandovery 👍

Great motorbike friendly cafe with great food and hot drinks. Always good banter to be had with Ian, the owner. There is now a really nice outdoor area which is covered to protect you from the rain or the sun.

I was made to feel welcome after a 9 hr journey, food was amazing really well priced & very welcoming... Down to earth place service was quick too!! Cannot recommend enough... Keep up the good work please!!! Love the lattes

Great place. Really good value food. Be prepared to wait if its a nice weekend with hundreds of bikers. But worth the wait.

Excellent location for a break. Visited today for the first time with a friend. The front man was very polite, chatty and professional. The coffee I ordered was spot on and the food provided was hot, tasty and well priced. Will be returning in future. Thanks!

6****** definitelly 6******So we stopped with my group at this place and never heard of it before so we went with the unknown.I mean... are you a petrol head, a kid, todler, a car or bike enthusiast, a parent with children up for a fun weekend... you have to be here. Some places charge ££ for allowing you to see the vehicles that visit this place. What an experience, meet and chat with genuine owners and likeminded enthusiasts.Oh the coffe was good and their cheeskake was great and the coffee guy... kudos to you man. You are awesome, fantastic attitude all around. Highly recommend this place.

Well I visit the Owls Nest regularly cant miss it anymore due to new signage.This was my Bang On Burger today and it was absolutely awesome. Burger, cheese, bacon, steak slices, super fresh salad, mushrooms and onions all cooked to perfection. We also had a Mexicano burger too which was just as amazing.The owner is sound and always friendly and the custard slices look amazing. Yet to try one as the burgers fill you up for the day and more... And very reasonable priced. All I can say is keep it up 👆as Monty Python would say. 👍

Very friendly service - asked how I liked my tea. Great breakfast. Toilets spotless (a good pointer to how seriously hygiene is taken in an establishment I think!highly recommended

Not to bad, the owner seems a great bloke friendly and chatty. The food is not bad I cannot say its the best Ive had. Lots of bikers use the cafe as its close by the favoured brecon beacons roads. If Im in the area Id stop for a brew.
