We came from Scotland to see White Lies in October 2022.We were really impressed by PAARD. We loved it. We arrived pretty early and decided to take a space on the middle balcony. It was clear and unobstructed. The sound and acoustics were incredible. The atmosphere was joyous. The staff were all very friendly. The bars had a great selection. I would return to PAARD any day.

Theater for local bands. I went there after 40 years. A legend in The Hague.

Okey i love the concept in it self. However their is a lot to take first there is two rooms or space one so 2 dj yet if one get’s crowded and they was playing afro almost in a blik they change it to house music (room 1 plays house room 2 has afrowhich defeats the idea of two different dj’s. The biggest room is what i call sticky room your shoes will stick to the ground like glue and its extremely dangerous for you and your shoes.Honestly i did not like this place for many reasons but those were the biggest ones.Its uncomfortable and it can get boring after 45 min

Amazing venue!! Had a great time while I was there, everything ran really smoothly!! great sound quality, cool lights, and lots of space (theres a balcony floor).Drinks from the bar werent cheap, but tapwater was free!! Downstairs, outside the venue, is also a bar with a seating area.Theres also very secure lockers, which come with a small fee of 1,50€.I personally did not use the gardrobe, but put my jacket inside my locker..Toilets were also accessible!Also worth mentionable, is that they do not accept cash! youll have to pay with cardbelow are some pictures;

Big and well maintained, visited a few times and everything is though of. Our visits always went smooth without complaints.

OMG.. I cant believe why I just visited this amazing venue after 4+ years of my life in The Hague. I attended the Macumba Fiesta event here and the vibes were absolutely amazing. I am gonna keep an eye on the upcoming events here.

Been here once for a concert on (one of the?small stage. Very good atmosphere and friendly staff in the bar. The queue was very long when we arrived but it went really quickly :The concert was great, good sound and a fun night.

The bouncers are just very rude, they decide randomly on who they won’t let in and do it in a very condescending way, without reason. Honestly it ruins the whole fun part of going to a club.

Been going here since i was 13. Thats 42 years. Seen it change a lot. Not always for the best. But as it is now, its exelent. Good airco. Feels clean. Friendly crew. Great bands. Its not to big. But it hosted Prince and U2 when they were small fries. ;)

Nice venue for smaller concerts. Great that they have 2 levels of balcony and opened the top one so we were able to see the show.Toilets were also available on the top level balcony, so no need to go all the way back down.Unsure about wheelchair access though

I went there for a concert for the first time and really liked the place. Cozy, just enough space to get the feeling of a real club atmosphere. What I didnt like were glasses, plastic, poorly washed... I still didn"t check why was the price of the beer different every time we have ordered it (exactly three times). In general, nice place.

Visited Paard a coupe of times. Even sold out its not hard to get to a bar. Prices are acceptable, pints are cheaper than vaasjes. Enough room for dancing & 2 balconies allow for great views. Lockers are on the premises, easy to use & cheap.

The venue is amazing. Unfortunately the people at the gardarobe are incapable. They lost our coat and made us wait till the end of the event 3h in the cold to get her her jacket back. After showing proof of her owning the jacket. They way we were talked to after asking for the jacket also was very unprofessional and very rude...

i first visited the Paard in 1973 used to werk for Swem weeding the road sides on the Escamplaan den haag. We got our salary in the Paard 190 gulders for 1 months werk.Upstairs they had a tea room. 25 years the paard got a watch and softball t shirt.I used to bring adverts for them all round the westlandse. Loved dancing in there great friendly people happy hippies there me one.Hope to be alive to go to their 50th only 76 now lol. Love from sunny Spain

We had a fantastic night in Candy Dulfer performance. She is amazing!!! Paard is a small concert hall. In Covid time I am more flexible and understand mistakes. Bier had a metallic taste, staff not answering ti greatings, toilets not working, e-mail not answered. It is ok but think about it for the future.

More alcohol free- beer options would be nice. Acoustics are ok but could be much better, or sounds could be softer to annul the need of strong earplugs. Music they play before and after has nothing to do with the show itself. Really a missed chance.

Great, modern venue. In my opinion it has changed for the better in last years, although I have been here only a few times. Effective wayfinding, enough lockers, clean toilets, helpful and hardworking staff. The sound and atmosphere in the music hall is nice as well, so I see no reason not to go here (when going to an artist of your liking of course)

Great venue! The staff is super friendly even if you dont speak Dutch. Was there for a concert in de kleine Zaal. It gives a feel of coziness almost like a club concert. Acoustic was good as well! Can definitely recommend it for concerts!

Awesome venue. Gives you a sense of coziness or (polar oppositeintensity, if thats the events vibe. Highly recommend for any occasion. Simply keep an eye out on what they host. Youll find something to like, guaranteed

Great venue with a nice stages. My favorite is the small stage which when not sold out still feels intimate and when packed, feels cosy. Good acoustics on both stages. If an international band plays in the Netherlands, I always first check if they play here.

Very nice, lovely beautifull people enjoying music and showing off some dance moves to entice the other sex. Thats always fun! Paard has a variety of parties with many musical styles, because of its location and popularity its a guaranteed lovely night out which is always crowded and never disappoints.

A very good place for concerts and dance. Book early the tickets are quickly sold out. Check the age limit too: some concerts are not allowed for people under 18 years old.

So much fun! My partner and I were lucky enough to see Weval LIVE. Great venue. They have lockers if you want to store your items before you rock out!

Good sound system. A lot of space in the grote zaal. They jad the best artist line-up Ive seen in years. Ill be back for another show.

Excellent concert venue. Great sound and 3 levels in the main hall. Offers Grolsch as a house beer. The toilet is free, but they ask you for a donation. You will need cash (1 euroto use a locker.
