Found it very authentic. No show off. Real.. natural. Not for wanna bes though. Only recommended for people who want to experience real life in Sikkim village. Stay will be comfortable.. not to worry in that aspect though.

As name suggests Homestay, it is a Home stay.. very homely stay, homely atmosphere and homely people. Fantastic food and hospitality right in the middle of mountains. Special thanks to the Granny to treat us as a family.

Good experience!!!! In a low budget, one can get the best experience in pakyong....Nearest homestay from pakyong airport....main concern is the veg menu.... If you are a non-veg person please tell them to arrange nonveg item in advance.... other things are as good as much it could be... you want to return there for many times for there family wala WELCOME....Thank you pakyong homestay!!!! Will get back there soon!!!!

Pakyong Homestay is definitely a cosy place to stay during my time in Sikkim.I felt the friendliness and hospitality permeating in the house. Family members are very friendly and highly educated. You will be amazed by the organic food there because the family grow their own vegetables and raise cows to get milk. I am super impressed by the self-sufficiency. You can get direct contact with the nature because it is very green there. Besides, if you are into meditation, there is a designated room where you can practise it with other family members. It is undoubtedly a perfect way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.I would highly recommend you all to stay here and get exposure to the local culture.
