Panera Bread in Lackawanna County

There was an issue with my delivery order but the Moosic staff handled it gracefully! They threw in extra goodies for the inconvenience, which I wasn’t expecting but it was greatly appreciated!

Worst cup of hot chocolate I have ever had in my life!!! No taste of chocolate whatsoever!! Like a glass of warm milk ugh😞

Place need work on cleaning floors and tables, other than that is great.

The food was good. Love the apple saled. A little pricey but fast service. Friendly staff

Did take out coffee and scones. Bathrooms were dirty and the coffee was just as bad. Not drinkable. Threw out the coffee. Scone was good. Don’t plan to go back.

They were seriously short staffed today and really struggling to keep up. They probably should have put a note on the door and taken a time out to get caught up on basic supplies, food prep, cleaning up, etc. Hopefully they get fully staffed and can more adequately represent the Panera brand.

A nice place for a hot cup of soup and a sandwich and the bear claws are very tasteful I never had one before but it was very very good and so is the flatbread pizza

The food was just not good.. soggy, mushy, two things we ordered ran out after we paid.. Complete waste of $50, which is absurd for 3 sandwiches to begin with. Never going back.

Very fast service. Facility was almost empty of customers. Very polite staff. What happened to all the stores in the area? Too much shopping on the internet I suppose. America is busy feeding Amazon while the local merchants take a beating…

Very friendly staff and consistently good food.

These guys do a great job of taking care of their customers, but dont go during lunch. I waited 30 minutes for a take out order. And like I said, they were working like mad; theres just that much demand.

Always a good option on a rainy day, fall or winter, there Mc & cheese with broccoli is always a good option. And always good healthy meals for the entire family.

Poor service, all coffee was empty nobody cared to come and brew fresh coffee, kept saying we are under staffed and cant make coffee right now, no excuse, horrible location

Quality comfort food when you are on the road. The newish charged lemonades are all great.

My family and I ate here on 8/14. Service was good. Food was mediocre. My daughters roast beef sandwich was overcooked. My sons mac-and-cheese was ok. My flatbread pizza was made with a largely-tasteless tomato sauce and cheese that did not taste like mozzarella. More importantly, two of us got sick (diarrheawithin 8 hours of eating there. Not good.

Not thrilled. Over priced. Food was ok. Coffee was good though.

Very clean and comfortable. It was a little tricky finding it. For lunch I had a tuna fish sandwich.

Eat at this location if you enjoy an entire staff of children with attitudes of the grinch serving you. The entire time I ordered, waited on, and received my food I received condescending looks and responses. The food is already over priced for wilted lettuce and a horribly throw together sandwich, but when I’m in a pinch and don’t have another option I’d like to not feel incredibly uncomfortable from the time I walk in to the time I leave. This location needs to do better at hiring quality employees. I will be finding somewhere else to stop when I’m in a hurry until they fix this issue.

Picked up an order and when I got to work noticed they forgot an item. So I called and told the person on the phone and she didn’t take it serious yells to the kitchen to make the missing item and the one person yells back tell them that Brandon says hi. Then I hear the whole kitchen laughing even the girl on the phone as she’s telling me that Brandon said hi even though I don’t know anyone working there. Nice of them to think it’s funny as I have to leave work again to drive 20 mins there to pick up my food that they messed up on. As I picked up the food a second time as I’m leaving I noticed they gave me a small instead of a large which I repeatedly said and 3 girls there confirmed it was supposed to be a large. And still manages to mess it up.

We usually love Panera, the service and the food. But this morning we placed a to go order from this location. I was handed a single bag where everything was just thrown in together, hot and cold food. Nothing was put in a separate bag, the way other locations do, so bagels were wet from the juice boxes sweat, warm sandwich at the bottom, below the parfaits, one of which was spilling. Also, zero napkins. Awful lack of care.

Every. Single. Time!! Anything Ive ever ordered and eaten from here made me violently ill. Its like they put magnesium citrate in all there food as a "secret ingredient " Ive talked to others I know about the digestion issue from this place, im glad to know nuts not just me... but its sickening to know its not just me...

Stay away from paneras Asiago cheese bread. Its more like white bread thats been dusted on the top with a thin coat of some kind of cheese material but not Asiago. Only $ 3.39 but no cheese insideResembled white bread.

My husband & son just left the restaurant & he gets 5 minutes down the road only to find out they forgot a whole entire sandwich from the order! I might be more understanding except for the fact that no one was paying attention to the counter & 2 workers cared more about having a conversation than doing their job. So now he had to go back to get his sandwich.

Unfortunately I would not recommend and it casts a negative taint on all others. Corporate best do quality checks on your franchises before your bottom line grows thin. Service was horrible even the supervisor very disappointing.

Service was great and accommodating but were out of bread. Coming expecting to get one of the main menu items and was disappointed. Wasn’t the same as it used to be.

Because I have diabetes, I asked for nutrition information for the menu and they were very helpful. Thats a plus. But after I put in my order, it took a long time. The place was packed so I thought they were just backed up. After 25 minutes, my pager turned itself off. I went up and told them, and they said they would cally name (i gave them my name). After another 15 minutes, , I went up and asked about it. I had only ordered a soup and salad and it had been 40 minutes now. She asked my name again, and she asked what i ordered. It had been sitting there for a while and the soup was cold. She just said, "sorry about that, the pager should have buzzed." Even though I had told her.... gRRR!!!! I had already told her it wasnt working. as i was eating, i saw the same thing happened to someone else...she didnt even offer me a new hot soup.

Very, very slow Panera. Waited for 25 minutes for my order that wasn’t even that big. They were out of everything on their menu including soups, salad toppings, breads, etc…

Long lines, out of food items, the place was full of teens (it was like they were asked to leave the local mall). Small portions and high prices (But the food is still good). Panera -- what happened?

Im good with the food but I wish you all would change the hours of operation on the website. Im here waiting for the store to open because its not posted. Please change the hours so that people know before making a trip. This isnt the way you should run a business.

We ordered in store and waited 20 minutes. The customers who came after us got their orders. When asked, the staff said our order just showed up!! And it would take another 10 minutes!! We were in a hurry and canceled the order. The staff was rude and didn’t even say sorry while returning the money.

Love Panera. But when my fiancée and I went in to order off of the kiosks. They would not work properly. We thought “okay, that’s fine, no biggie” so we went up to the counter to order from a worker instead. We stood up there waiting for someone to come over and take our order. We were up there for a few minutes but we understand the place is busy and we don’t mind waiting. However, when another woman walked in and was waiting up by the counter with us. A worker walked over, greeted the person that came in after us, and started taking her order. We thought that was rude and just left the establishment after that.

Food is decent. Small broccoli mac and cheese very tiny and too salty for me. Oh be careful of the bacon it was so hard you can chip a tooth.

Went to pickup a pickup order yesterday and paid for a smoothie and many other items--I didnt receive any smoothie at all. I paid for an item that I didnt get. I called them many times when I realized I didnt get the item and I understand its busy between 6pm to 7pm but nobody picked up the phone to even talk to me. And the salad was soggy, just a bunch of plain lettuce. I ended up calling corporate (because no one at this location would answer the phonewho is trying to refund me for the item I paid for but never received.

This restaurant was the most filthy place that I have ever seen. The tables were really dirty, the chairs were worn and filthy, the floor was disgusting as were the walls windows and doors.It was so bad that waited outside to meet my colleague and suggested an alternative.Just yuck. If the department of health came in I think they would close them down.I didn’t try the food after seeing how they care for the place.

First time Ive had a bad salad at this location. I ordered the Strawberry chicken salad and it hardly had any chicken in it all all. They also didnt have the toppings for the salad, will not order this again

My friend and I attended panera, his salad had no dressing, both of our sandwiches were practically falling apart, they didn’t give us cups with our meals, there were no lids out for the cups, and the tables were covered in crumbs. When we asked for our cups, the girl responded as if she couldn’t even go as far to give us the cups she didn’t give us. Their ice tea doesn’t even taste like ice tea, pepsi was watered down and they overall lacked a selection of drinks. Worst experience we’ve both ever had at a panera.

As usual, Panera was a delicious experience. The seating area wasnt crowded, and the food was awesome! I feel like it was served to me before I barely even sat down also. Great service

This has been like that for at least 2 weeks. There is never Honey out for coffee, they dont pay attention to refill the coffee so when you get there its empty and you have to wait and same goes for half and half.

Normally a 5 but a big issue was how bad the tables were... i walked up, grabbed the cleaner, and sanitized my own table to give my family a clean spot to eat. Food rocked as usual but it was disturbing to have to self sanitize the table and chairs as well as remove the crumbs. You got 5 stars from me any day except today. My 8 year old looked at the tables and said there was no clean spots- she hit the nail right on the head and drove through the board. On the plus side, the masks while approaching the counter and traveling from the table was enforced by the employees. So close to a perfect vibe from me...

Always great food. They only had one of their diy kiosks open out of three due to Covid. Probably could get more people through quicker to have at least plexiglass between two. The place wasnt very busy. We didnt have much interaction with the staff. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. Food was all fresh. Great coffee.

Service was great. It was our first time in a Panera there was a line, the cashier walked us through the the order. Had the apple instead of chips; novel idea! Anyhow, food was great, place was clean. Seems like a healthier choice than other fast food, maybe not.

Excellent food and always fresh. The service is always extra friendly special and speedy.

Panera Bread a great stop for a salad and desert. Also it has a great tasting green tea. Great location and good parking. Panera is also very expensive place to eat. The reward card is not even a big help with the pricing at all. Not a first choice at all when rushing out for a meal.

Terrible, the sandwich was a disaster. Lets just throw some canned chicken and damn near a whole avocado on soggy bread and call it a day and charge 6 bucks.

Panera is always a favorite of mine. First time at this one. Floor needs to be cleaned and the staff could be a bit friendlier. Not sure if it is just the location or not. I got my go to French onion soup and the Strawberry & Poppyseed chicken salad. My french onion soup was oily... why? As a french onion soup lover, I know it should not be this way. Smh... not happy. I am only giving 2 stars because my salad was on point.

Slowest service ever at a Paneras. 640 pm on Thursday and the line is to the door. Hire more staff. Its a game of find the clean table....good luck. On the positive side the food was exactly what I get at other locations..... so mybe order online and take it to go.
