I love the arcata marsh and wildlife sanctuary for walks and watching the sunset. So many amazing birds to see and observe. Ive seen pelicans, great egrets, grey heron and more! I think its really cool that the city doesnt allow drone flying there to keep the birds safe.

I was looking for a place to fish with my daughter. Nice place for a walk, beautiful view of Arcata Bay (North Humboldt Bay). They need restrooms 🤔 and no drinking water or washing water either. Little dock only useable at high tide, shallow area.
