Parrish Grove Inn and Wine Bar in Brevard County

My husband and I stay at Bed and Breakfasts very often. Every time our experience has been between wonderful and fantastic. We love going to this sort of lodging when traveling because you meet interesting people and get to know the owners who always love what they do and go out of their way to be warm and accommodating. From the moment we arrived at Parrish Grove Inn nothing could be farther from the truth. The phone number on the door to contact for assistance went to voicemail with a message that the mail box was full and on subsequent efforts to contact her we received the same message. After considerable time at the front door the manager (owner?Hope finally appeared to let us in and assured us that everything had been sanitized appropriately for COVID 19 and that breakfast would be social distanced. We made a reservation for 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. for the following morning. We were told we would have the dining room table to ourselves. When we arrived at 8:40 there were two other couples in the lobby, one sat down at the dining room table and the other couple wound up sitting in the smaller room, which left no place for us to sit safely. Hope was not there and the two young women who were there to serve took no control of the situation. When Hope finally arrived we were still sitting in the lobby. When we complained she said no problem sit at the other end of the dining room table. My husband and I are older and have been very careful throughout this quarantine period, so I said no I don’t want to get sick. Her reply was, “you won’t get sick and you have done nothing but complain since you arrived, get out”. We went to our room to get our things. She came to the door a few minutes later and said one of the couples moved to the porch and we could sit there now with absolutely no attempt to apologize. My husband told her to get out of our room and I told her she should not be in a service business. This was our first outing in three months and we are people who usually take numerous trips during the year. It is unfortunate we chose this place to stay. The only reason it got even one star is you have to in order to post.

How do you get in touch with the people here?! I have called multiple times, no one has ever answered the phone, and you cannot leave a voicemail?!?!

What a great place, especially if you like old charming houses. We arrived late, but the patron came late at night to give us a warm welcome. Self-service breakfast and coffee was a perfect start of the day.

Hope was a wonderful host and there are TVs in every room, free WiFi, parking galore which is hard to find in the Village. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and even drove my wife to get her nails done. Picked us up from a restaurant when it started raining. You couldn’t ask for a more accommodating host. We will definitely return! Come as a stranger and leave as family is their motto. So happy to have found this hidden gem!

Very poor service. Had to wait an hour and a half to check in. The owner spent almost all the time on her cell phone instead of paying attention to her guests. Ran out of TP and had to search the house at 5am for more. Room and bed were not tidied or cleaned during our stay. Had to reuse our towels for three days. Were interrupted frequently by texts from the owner. We visit a lot of bed and breakfasts. This will be our first and last visit here.

Great place. Hope took care of us even though our booking through Expedia was deleted. She even drove us to the pier for our cruise when we couldnt get Uber to get to us in time.

This place is a scam, they booked us a room that was really a porch with 15 windows and wrinkled curtains everywhere. I would never have booked if I knew that was the room, Hope said she would put the money back into our account, of course she didnt, the place smelled moldy, NO TV, really tired looking, you had to pay for daily cleaning $20. and tip the cleaning person, what a rip off. the pictures look fabulous but dont be fooled, its crammed in front of a high rise, and b&b means bed and BREAKFAST, if you want a decent breakfast you have to pay for it, another rip off, do yourself a favor dont go there the other reviews must be friends and relatives, Ill be shocked if they put this review in.

This was my second visit to the Inn, I love it there brings me back in time, I will always stay there when I go to the Cocoa Village Playhouse and they make a wonderful breakfast and Hope is a beautiful, outrageous and friendly person. The bed was comfortable the room was beautiful.

Quaint little bed and breakfast, four bedrooms upstairs, one downstairs, wine events, reserve for special occasions. I just inquired about the place. You can reserve it for lunch. They have a Sunday brunch. Looks very nice.

BEWARE! These people are liars and cheaters! After ending a cruise in Dec. 2017, I made several phone calls to the owner, Hope, asking if we could check in early. She said no, that check in is at 3pm; we were off the ship by 9am! Throughout the day, I called her 4 times, explaining that we (2coupleswere very tired and anxious to get into our rooms, again she said not til 3pm. We reluctantly walked through the village to pass the time, then went to the inn about 2pm and just parked our rental car, waiting for 3pm to arrive. At 3pm I went to the front door, it was locked and no one was in sight! We waited for over 30 minutes and decided to find someplace else to stay. As we were about to leave, Hope and her husband come walking up the street, nonchalantly eating popcorn, since they were likely coming from the arts and craft fair going on in the village. I had already written her a note, which I handed to her; it stated that she had voided our contract by not being here to check us in! We left and stayed elsewhere. Two months later, our credit card is charged for over $400 for one nights stay (2rooms)! I was appalled and tried to dispute it with our credit card company. Hope refused to conference with us on the phone, and lied by saying she was at the inn when we arrived and simply changed our minds about staying, and that we could have paid $50 to check in early, which she never once told me during the multiple phone calls to her that day!! What a liar!!

Worst treatment ever by Hope. She was nice to us at first but later when told by my daughter she found another venue bigger to accommodate her guest for her wedding,.and wanted her deposit back, she became very unprofessional, and made it impossible to get her deposit back, they had to seek police aid to assist in this problem. Why do a person have to contact police department to get money that belongs to them? Hope said it was non refunable when she didnt say it when money was given. Hope is very dishonest, and no claa at all. Word of advice!!!!!!"Treat people right, you can go far." I knew something wasnt right when she wasnt prepared for the meeting and late when we had an appointment. Will never refer her or this place to anyone. Hope is a joke and an embarrassment to customer service.

if there where no stars this place would get it. horrible would be a good review. tried to check in twice, but no one there to do it. when someone finally showed up we were told we had no reservation and we did have a confirmed reservation. bad experience and would never recommend..this is clearly not a real business.

What an amazing experience! Hope and her staff were amazing! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The house was relocated to its curent location in 2004. Wonderful history and a such a great breakfast. Everything I could ask for and more!!!

EXCELLENT service, welcomed us like family. Well decorated period furniture with modern conviences in restrooms and kitchen. Attracts an evening crowd, very entertaining wine lovers.

The establishment was very pretty. We went for one of their wine specials. We were given a suggestion of wine, but never told the prices of anything. We enjoyed sitting around in the lovely, antique inn. It is so beautiful. However, some guests that were actually staying came in pretty late. The owner was extremely passive aggressive about this. It was pretty uncomfortable, and made me not want to suggest the establishment as and actual overnight guest.

Beautiful space and wonderful employees

I visited my family for a week and needed a place to stay for one night because the house was over crowded. This is a beautiful place that is tastefully decorated and the staff is so welcoming! The rooms are breathtaking, the wine lady with curly hair is amazing and always smiling! The price was perfect. Over all the best thing was the people. Customer service is key to make any place shine:-I would suggest this location to anyone. A true gem!!

Such a beautiful home!! Youll fall in love with this place. Its in the perfect location, walking distance to cocoa village where youll find something for everyone. Shopping, restaurants, a playhouse, a beautiful park on the water. Love the Parrish grove inn. You wont be disappointed. ❤️

A million thanks to the Parrish Grove Inn, Cocoa Village. They opened their doors to us "Power Refugees" and gave us a free room with food and AC and the warmest welcome ever. We are simply blown away by their kindness and generosity. The room was warm and beautifully furnished. The bed was super comfy.Hope and Henry were so incredibly gracious and welcoming. The wine bar and food were great. We highly recommend this beautiful Inn!

After staying in hotels on our drive down from western North Carolina, the charming Parrish Grove Inn was a welcome comfort and place to rest in between our explorations of Cocoa Village. We stayed in the smallest room, the Pummelo Room, which had everything we needed, was elegantly decorated and furnished, and had the most comfortable bed! The morning after we arrived, we slept in simply because we didnt want to get out of that cozy bed! We happened to be the only ones staying there that weekend so we mostly had the place to ourselves. There were beverages including water bottles, sodas, and juices in the fridge that we were welcomed to upon arrival as well as one complimentary beer or wine for each of us. Breakfast appeared to cater to the needs of guests. Our first morning had more of a continental breakfast spread including pastries, muffins, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee that was perfect for our late start that morning. There were eggs available in the fridge as well and a fully-stocked kitchen so we scrambled them to have with the rest of our breakfast. Being able to freely meander and come and go later that morning was exactly what we needed after our travels, allowed us to explore the inn, and feel at home! The following morning, breakfast was prepared for us which enticed us out of bed a bit earlier with delicious smells coming up from the kitchen which included scrambled egg and sausage muffins and fresh baked banana bread. As charming as the inn is, you cannot beat its location within Cocoa Village. The many shops and restaurants in Cocoa Village are a short walk from the inn. The Cocoa Village Riverfront Park is also just there and a great area for strolling and enjoying the view of the river. We only stayed for two nights and had things planned each evening so we didn’t get to fully experience the wine bar. I feel like the floorplan is ideal for meeting up with friends as there is an impressive and varied selection of seating, open or secluded. There are conversational areas designed with large or small dining tables, sofas, accent chairs, or benches indoors as well as tables and chairs outdoors on the front porch or the back deck. So whether you are catching up with friends or meeting new people, you’ll find a comfortable niche to enjoy conversation and wine/beer. Bottom-line, if we visit Cocoa again, we will definitely stay here again and would readily recommend it!

The staying in the Parrish Grove Inn was very pleasant and enjoyable for myself us.. We liked the location very much. The service was awesome and I really enjoyed the wine bar, the staff was nice and polite. My team and I were in the area on business and the Grove Inn was very affordable for our budget. We are planning to use it for our Christmas party this year because of the great service we received. I will recommend staying here if you are seeking a location in the cocoa area.

I was looking for a place to relax, kind of escape really, and I found it here! It was a beautifully decorated, very clean, lovely old still home, with a fantastically stocked wine bar!!! Who could ask for more!!! Its a very inviting place, with cozy corners and window seats, a huge porch with big comfy chairs and a wine bar that has a kind of Pub feel to it. The bedroom I stayed it was also, beautifully decorated. I had a king size bed with my own bathroom and the bed was heavenly! Im already planning my next escape weekend! Lol P.S. I ordered a bottle of wine and was able to have a glass whenever I wanted, it was fabulous☺️ And, it was right around the corner from Cocoa Village!!! Whoooo Hooooo! I did a little shopping, too!!!! 🤑

Awesome place to have an event! Had a wedding here and it was amazing! Great service, staff and amazing food! Definitely recommend it!

Happened on this place by accident but it was a great find! My wife and I were in the Village here in Cocoa, and we came upon this place that advertised "wine bar". We went in and it was like going into a Victorian Inn! My wife lived it!!!! They had a lot of wine to choose from, we got a bottle, sat on the porch and enjoyed a beautiful Florida afternoon while listening to all the music and happenings going on in the Village! It was an awesome afternoon, well spent!!! We go now almost every Thursday evening. Highly recommended for a change from the regular bar scene for sure!

New mismanagement. What a disgusting, no class operation this has become.

The buffet was a joke. No food on it. I kept waiting for them to bring more out and they never did. The place is amateur hour. I do not even eat alot and did not expect giant amounts of food on buffet, but there was literally very little and they never brought any more. What food there was was mediocre. I dont know how they plan to stay in business. Dont waste your money.

Wonderful experience! Bed was super comfortable; GIANT sugar soap bar; delish banana bread! If youre attending an event at the convention center/park, it does not get any better than this ! ... Also a very honest and reliable company to trust. Highly recommend!

Great bed and breakfast! The house was beautiful, beds were so comfy and the location is perfect, right next to all the restaurants and shops. Thank you Gail for the upgrade, it made my night :)

We try and stay at the Parrish Grove Inn at least once a year for a fun romantic getaway. We always have a wonderful time and leave there feeling relaxed. The manager is very attentive to your every need. The kitchen is always stocked with essentials and delicious treats. We love the history of the place and the "Cocoa Village environment." It is a very unique place to stay- just a short walk to the beautiful river, shops and restaurants. My dad visited last year from Tennessee and we encouraged him to stay at the Parrish Grove Inn. He loved it and said he prefers the Parrish Grove Inn to beachside hotels now.

Gail is amazing and everything about the Parrish Grove Inn is amazing! Its within walking distance of Cocoa Village which has so many interesting and pretty shops to look in...and shop in! I highly recommend Parrish Grove Inn. The history of the house is beautiful and the people inside are a delight!

Terrible. We stayed in the Castle Room. The Shower did not work. The Inn Keeper came back to the house and was screaming outside with her friends reviving up motorcycles right outside of my room. This happened at 1:00 AM. And then came up the stairs very loudly. I cried the entire night because I wanted to have a perfect start to my honeymoon. We had to drive to Tennessee that day. Do not stay here! We should have just stayed at the Holiday Inn the entire trip to Cocoa for my wedding.

We had the MOST amazing stay. We staying in the Keylime room and it was wonderful! It opened up to the back patio where you can see the river. We loved to sit out there and our BB attendant, John was AMAZING! He brought us mimosas in the morning which made the start to our day blissful! The accommodations were clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in, the kitchen was also stocked full of goodies! We were within walking distance to the quaint little town and also within walking distance to the concert we were attending. I work in hospitality industry and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this B&B!

We attended our daughters wedding at the Parrish Grove Inn. The entire event, ceramony and reception were held outside. Gail and her staff could not have been more accomodating and friendly. The rooms were beautiful, the atmosphere was beautiful and the event was flawless.The best thing about the PGI was that we were made to feel like we were at home, just a bit more catered to and looked after..Thank you Gail, for making our daughters wedding so memorable!Jennifer
