I went to Real Pie Company with my family. We went Sunday, as Real Pie Co. is open to the public Friday- Sunday. Parking is a little challenging but worth it. I ordered a slice of Pink Lady, Granny Smith Apple Gallette. The pie was so good.

I purchased a slice of cherry pie with the anticipation of going home and pigging out thanks to good day, I wasnt impressed the crust was paper like in texture and taste were very blan, this was also a savory pie. But the customer service is awesome I seen some beautiful smiles they were very welcoming, friendly and warm. The butter milk ice cream is everything, the cookies are delicious also the cream type pies the key lime coconut cream chocolate those pies are to die for the bourbon pecan pie is delicious. But of course this is just my opinion we all have different taste.

Best pies in town. Dessert and savory meat pies. Plan three weeks ahead and get with them for Thanksgiving.

I just had a cherry pie from The Real Pie Company. I gotta say it was possibly damn pie I ever ate! It definitely was the best pie I can recall eating. The crust was golden brown and flakey on top, the bottom was firm and sweet. The filling was the perfect tartness. There was nothing that should have been done better or different. Chocolate cream pie is heavenly delicious. It is not too strong Chocolate or oversweet. It is perfect. My wife is very fuzzy about pie or dessert. She said it is best pie she had for long time. My mother in law love it. My mother in law even hide one last piece of pie. 😂

WAY OVERPRICED for the quality.....$60.00 for 2 pies city prices for city doops.....Id rather make the drive to Stephens Farmhouse in Yuba City. Now they have delicious pies!!

Staff were sweet as pie 😉The chocolate chip cookie was phenomenal. We had a hand pie that was flaky perfection. The star of the show was the butterscotch banana cream pie. 10/10 highly recommend!

This place have not disappoint with their pies. Only sad thing is they only open certains days. When you crave you would have to wait till Friday . Only time I can get to they place either after 4 or 5 pm. Majority of the time when you get in around these hours they are almost out of everything. So you would have to go early to get your pies. Their key lime pie and coconut cream pie is a definitely must try. Their cucumber lemonade is a must try. I love the taste of the cucumber

Ordered the pumpkin and mincesweet to take to my sister in laws forThanksgiving. They looked pretty but when we cut into them the crust was rubbery and hard to cut, but the worst was the disgusting, bitter flavor of the mincesweet pie. Nobody could even eat it. 70 dollars for a mediocre pumpkin and an inedible mince pie. Ill be buying some frozen Sara Lee pies next year.

If you’re on the fence about these pies, take this as a sign to buy a slice or two!! We arrived at the end of the day and despite limited pies to choose from and we were still completely impressed! The pie was incredible, a great seasonal twist on the classics and we will certainly return.

A simple business model, Pie. They also sell ice cream. I got a rhubarb pie and a sort of plum hand pie; both were delicious. My only drawback would be its location which cant be helped much so I dont count it against them.

Im normally a Marie Calendars pie eater, but let me tell you, the pies at the Real Pie company leaves Maries in the dust. Sure, its pricey, like very pricey, but you get what you pay for. Freshest fruit pies and the crust is so flakey and delicate I just cant get enough. Parking in the back and their giant cookies are better than any Ive had outside of grandmas kitchen. Worth a try for sure.

We love this place. There are usually many great things to choose from. Our favorites are fruit pies, upside down cake, lemon meringue pie, coconut cream pie, pecan cookies and chocolate chip cookies. They run out sometimes but thats a good sign because they rather make fresh stuff than have lots of stuff left over. Great place.

I’ve been to all the other “best” bakeries in Sacramento and the real pie company is the real deal. The pies are on the pricier side but once you try them, you understand that quality simply costs more.Highly recommend their seasonal fruit pies.

Love this place. Just picked up a full jumbleberry pie for a birthday and paired it with Gunthers vanilla..delish! Their peach pie in season and the pies that have rhubarb are so good but my favorite menu item is their pot pie which is perfect warm lunch on a cold day. Definitely recommend.

Pies made in-house! The butter-scotch banana pie taste just like the pie from Frank Fats if you have been, meaning, it is GOOD! I love that their pies have plenty of cream or meringue on top... just the way you want them! The lemon meringue is a must if you love lemon, perfect for hot days, very refreshing, with a blanket of meringue on top! 🥧🥧🥧

Im not rating based on customer service- the people are very sweet and helpful and the restaurant smelled absolutely AMAZING when I walked in! The smell was extremely pleasant and its the perfect place to be during cold weather. ALTHOUGH, I purchased a pumpkin pie I had to basically have custom made because theyre not yet serving it. Came up close to $29 dollars and assuming it was worth it I paid. Went home, tried it, and was totally unimpressed. Im sorta sad, but I wouldnt doubt their quiches and other pies are amazing!

I tried the chicken pot pie. It was good however did not have pie crust on the bottom, as is my family’s tradition. Well seasoned gravy, a little thin in consistency. Sufficient chicken and vegetable filling. Top crust was good.

Pie was good. Overpriced for the quality.I went after hearing great things, got 2 pies. They tasted good, on par with the ones you buy in the freezer section.Probably wont go back, because it didnt feel worth the price. Staff was friendly & helpful

Their fruit and savory pies are very high quality, though not cheep. Their pecan pie is the best Ive tasted. For the desert pies, the crust is buttery, the fruit is plentiful, and they dont use excessive sugar, in contrast to certain other pie shops. The savory pies are flavorful and seasoned with restraint; they tend to benefit from extra pepper.

The Mac and cheese was tasteless. The Walnut pie was too thick, the crust was awful, tough and hard. The food was not freshly made. It was old tasting. The only thing that was good.. The lemon poppyseed cookie. Sorry.!! I expected a lot more for the price!!

Amazing place! They have dessert pies as well as savory pies (like shephards pie, cheddar/broccoli, and a chilli pot pie). Everything Ive had here has been delicious. Their Cucumber Lemonade is especially great, which I think Ive gotten every time.

Went with my grandparents for lunch. Pot pie was good, crust excellent. Quiche was still cold when it came out. Meatball hand pie was comfort food 101. Cherry pie satisfactory. Chocolate cream pie was rich. Cute spot.

Such a cute and quaint spot. Just note that if you come later in the day, there is less to choose from because they run out.

Stunning All-American cherry pie with buttermilk icecream. Pecan maple shortbread! Raspberry rhubard pie! And excellent savory pies to boot. (On future visits we plan to sample our way from the fruit pies to the cream pies.)

You want pie? This is the place to go! I ordered a banana cream pie that did not disappoint. They also have a banana cream pie milkshake-whaaat?!!! It was heavenly.You also have your selection of savory pies if you are looking for a good pot pie to satisfy your comfort food needs. The bakery was clean and staff was helpful in recommending items since it was my first time here.

I absolutely love this place! Tonight we tried the lemon shaker pie, and it was delectable and delightful and delicious. We also got the Walnut bourbon pie, because it is my absolute favorite! The lemon pie exceeded expectations, it was perfectly sweet, yet the lemon was perfectly tart. You are truly missing out, if you have not had a slice of pie from Real Pie! The customer service is also phenomenal.

Pies were definitely delicious and we have needed one for a long time in Sacramento. I wish they were a bit hotter when served. They ran out of the rhubarb one so had a different one instead which was great but hope to be able to try the rhubarb soon as it is hard to find in places and delish. The ice cream was house-made and wonderful! I wish they had lattes also or freshly brewed coffee as a later addition. I think I saw someone eating a salad which looked good too and hope they do indeed serves those as would be great in addition to the pies. Love the food... good job and hope it gets more and more established. and cozy feel

When asked to speak with the owner, him and his wife came out to meet us, introduce themselves and didnt rush us with a simple Hi and Bye. Fred and Katie are the owners and do actually put their knowledge and experience to use in the kitchen. Very pleasant couple.My friends loved their vegetable quiche and shepherds pie. Generous portions and not overly heated in a microwave.Sweet pies were delicious. i cannot pick a favorite since both pies and the cake were well made, not too sweet. Real and fresh ingredients you can taste.Surely my favorite and they easily top any other pie store in town. my place for life and wont bother going elsewhere for cheap, commercialized junk.

Seriously, the best pie Ive eaten in almost 60 years of living. The ingredients were really top tier and put together with obvious care and love. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The setting was very old school, clean and simple. The viewing cases allows you to see what youre getting. My wife had cherry pie and I had butterscotch banana cream pie, OMG !!! The pies were so good that were brought a piece of Jumbleberry pie home. Well be back and well bring friends.

I have only tried the jumbleberry pie and one of the nectarine berry hand pies, but both were fantastic with flaky crusts and delectable fillings with whole pieces of fruit. None of that mushy soggy pie feeling. Will probably come back to try the chicken pot pie. The friendly staff and warm environment makes me want to be a regular here.

We stopped in for the first time to get some dessert to go. The staff was so friendly and there was such a great energy. Our pies were delicious and we plan to return to try some of the savory pies next.

Delicious chicken pot pie. I must say I prefer a slightly thicker gravy for the filling but this is definitely not lacking in taste! Upside-down pear/cherry cake is ridiculously tasty and their hand pies are huge! I would definitely come back here! They even have a suggestion box in case you were looking for something in particular for pie filling.

Wonderful staff serving fresh pies and cakes using local, delicious ingredients. Some pies are seasonal, depending on what fruit they can get from the farmers market. They serve both sweet and savory pies with great crusts. You can buy both whole pies and a slice of pie. Lots of visitors come here after going to see a show in downtown or just want a great dessert after dinner.

The buttermilk pie is just amazingly delicious! It has a humble name but its mighty! Also love the strawberry tarts and the nectarine/apricot streusel pie was out of this world. The fruit they use is locally sourced and always wonderful! Just the best!

This place is amazing. Real homely feel and just a great positive spot with positive kind people. You can really feel it in the air. They even give you a slice of your choice for free on your b-day !! Yummy and fresh. Shepards pie is incredible and butterscotch banana cream is so nom nom. My been favorite desert spot.

Delicious pie with a homemade taste. They have a number of flavors, some rotating based on the seasonal ingredients. Unfortunately they were out of a few options (end of weekbut still loved the Jumbleberry slice that I got. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, providing quality service throughout our recent visit. Definitely recommend this place for filling your sweet tooth craving or general dessert outing.

Good, classic pies. We ordered the lemon meringue, which came in its own pie tin. The meringue wasnt very high, which was somewhat disappointing. Next time will order a fruit pie, as those appeared more popular.

Super friendly staff, absolutely delicious pie, and a delightful sunny ambiance with plenty of space, both at each table and between you and your neighbor. What more could you ask for?Pro tip: because everything is baked fresh daily, its wise to go early (before lunchif you want something specific. I was happy with what I picked from the reduced selection, but I watched a few people be disappointed during my mid-afternoon visit, because they had their hearts set on something that had sold out. Thats the nature of a place like this! 🤷‍♀️

I had lunch today at the Real Pie Company and it was very good. I had a delicious Chicken Pot Pie. The crust was flaky and baked to perfection with nice chunks of chicken and vegetables. I also tried their Cucumber Lemonade. Yes, I said cucumber. I didnt know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. They have so many different flavor pies. I am looking forward to returning on Pi Day (3/14and try one of those delicious pies. The only issue I had was the minimal parking, but you can order ahead of time and use their Pick up Parking space out front.

Outstanding experience. The food is delicious, the staff is outstanding, the location is perfect-- we had outstanding meal. It also appeared that everyone in the restaurant also really enjoyed their food. From the selection of sides, the decor of the dining room to the choice of beverages, it appears everything was so well thought out. It is such a delightful experience, everyone should truly enjoy it. Dont miss the butterscotch banana cream pie. Yum!! :-)

Out of the way & weird hours but the Pie is great! Had Coconut Cream pie today. The cookie crust had Coconut in it, too. Cold and silky smooth with lots of coconut flavor. One of the best Coconut Cream pies Ive had in a long time. Now, lets work on location folks...

So So good! The butterscotch banana cream pie was great, a bit more complex version of my childhood favorite. The fruit they use in their pies is impressive, so full of flavor. The crust is buttery and flakey and the people are super nice. Cant recommend this place enough. When they are busy you may struggle for parking but its worth it.

Incredible. Another craft oriented farm to fork place in Sacto with really special items and a staff that loves making good tasting foods. We had the quiche and chicken pot pie from the savory menu and we shared jumble berry, apricot mulberry and a plum cherry hand pie, all of which were amazing. Lots of respect for the crust here. Apricot mulberry was mind blowing. Anyone that didnt find this place to be 5 stars has their own issues going on.

Amazing -- Real Pie Company serves fresh pies made from local ingredients. They make everything in house, and you can taste the difference from a grocery store pie. The bourbon walnut pie was incredible, and chock full of nuts -- no layer of "pecan pie"-style glaze at the bottom. The bumbleberry pie was similarly amazing. I brought it to a church event, and despite a small crowd and a table full of treats, there was not a slice left.
