Really good customer service, cared a lot about the riders experience. I do wish the bike I road was was in a little bit better shape, but they took care of everything, and made sure the bike was good to go the next day. Thanks guys!!

Pedal The Peaks had always been my go to in Durango for all bike needs. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and tell it like it is without trying to sell you anything you dont need. Whether its renting for an afternoon or working on my daily rider there is nothing these people cant do, and better yet they have all the banter to go with it! Head to Pedal the Peaks you will not regret it!

The owner and shop dudes were super cool helping me figure out the logistics of renting a bike so I could go on an evening ladies ride! So sweet.

Can I give 10 stars? It was great. We rented Townies at a very reasonable price. Road the river path, stopped for lunch, rode some more and they are soooooo friendly. Highly recommend.

The staff at this bike shop were polite,knowledgeable,and most helpful. My wife and I were provided with appropriate bikes re size and function. We had a most pleasant cycling day. We were not only given the bikes , but also a map and advise re route.I am an experienced cyclist, having raced in many triathlons. I have also rented bikes in other cities in USA and Europe. I fully recommend this pleasant, friendly establishment.

The owner was really friendly, helpful, and easy going. Id reserved a rental months in advance and they set me up with no issues at all. The bike was well maintained and a joy to ride.

Great bike shop. I rented one of their higher end carbon MTBs and rode the local trails. They gave me some great ideas as to where to ride, put my pedals on for me, and were great to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent a bike to ride the Durango area.

Outstandingly friendly and helpful service for a mtn bike rental and great price too! They got me hooked up with a nice Ibis and spent a lot of time helping me choose trails on the map. Even threw in free pedals as a birthday present. Thank you PTP!

Excellent experience with this bike shop. I rented for half day in the morning and they had the bike ready to go before I got there. Easy access to the river trail.

Great location, right next to the Animas river trail, and super helpful, friendly experience! I rented an ebike for the first time, and they spent time going over the controls in an easy to understand way. I had a great ride, so much fun, and I was able to keep up with my athletic family with no stress LOL

My wife and I rented Ibis Ripmo’s for the day. Riley was awesome!! He got us fitted and made recommendations for local trails. The bikes were in great condition and tuned perfectly. We parked at the shop and road Horse Gulch in the morning, ate some lunch, and then rode Overend in the afternoon. When we returned Riley helped us out with great recommendations for a local brewery. We would highly recommend renting from this shop. Great high end equipment. However, it is the knowledgeable and friendly staff that will bring us back.

Went in here today to get a tube replaced on my bike tire. They were efficient and expedient. Shortly after I started riding, my tube blew again and went back to get yet another one. They found a thorn in my tire and replaced the tube again, this time for free just because none of us knew the thorn was there! The guys working their were very generous, highly recommend this place for your bike services.

We love Pedal the Peaks. We always rent bikes from here when in Durango. The bike trails along the Animas River are fantastic. On our last trip one of the bikes got a flat tire and someone from Pedal the Peaks came and exchanged our bike for another. Such great customer service. Can’t wait for next summer to rent bikes again!

We rented bikes twice during our stay; one mountain bike and one street bike. It was an awesome experience all around. The guys running the shop were super friendly and one had just come back from visiting Missouri, where we’re from. Great bikes, great service, fun times in Durango, CO.

I highly suggest this company. We had a wonderful time on our ride. My sister and friend and I all absolutely loved our guide. He made sure everyone was comfortable and understood how to use their bike. Also they do a thorough job at checking the bikes before you even begin. 10 stars!

I am so thrilled that I was able to find this epic bike shop before the Iron Horse! I was able to rent my bike for the weekend and they got me all dialed in with my own pedals, seat, and made sure I felt good on the rental! They even went out of their way to change the handle stem length via swapping parts so it was a better fit for my torso. Awesome shop, rad dudes!!!! My new go to spot in Durango!

Great place to rent bikes when in Durango. Reasonable rates for a half day of fun! We rented a couple of regular bikes and an e-bike to take around the Animas River path--very pretty along the river.

Super friendly shop that set us up well for one of our first mountain biking experiences. The staff recommended some really great beginners trails you can ride to right from the shop! Solid prices for a half day of riding, even for a specialty small sized bike for myself. Will be using them again next time we’re in Durango!

What a great experience we had. The bikes were reasonably priced and the ride along the Animas River was absolutely gorgeous. Pick up and drop off was quick and easy and they gave us great advice on how to navigate Durango

I love Pedal The Peaks. I have rented bikes from Dave (the ownerand purchased bikes from him as well. Good experiences. I stop by and say hello every chance I get and he keeps air in my tires, lol.

12 yo son and I took a 2 hour mountain bike tour. We are novice mountain bikers. Our guide was Sierra. She was absolutely fantastic - very pleasant, gave helpful advice and suggestions, went at a great pace and showed us her love for mountain biking. She took us on Horse Gulch, which was a ton of fun and great introductory course for us - challenging, yet doable. The bikes from Pedal the Peaks were great.

Great customer service! The staff was also very helpful guiding us to the trails in a safe manner as we were riding with two little ones. We will definitely come back and rent bikes from here again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Wonderful time riding in Horse’s Gultch!!We were able to rent bikes while visiting our daughter in Durango. Got two bikes with helmets for my son and I to ride on the wonderful trails there. The men who worked that day were very helpful and sizing us up and giving us pointers on which trails to do.I loved that the location of the store was close enough to park and ride over to the trails. Great place!!!

Awesome experience with this well run bike shop. Im new to town and didnt know what to expect. All she really needed was new tires and a tune-up. I brought my bike in mid morning and it was done by later the same day. I was busy and left it for two days before I picked it up, which seemed fine with them. They had my bike hanging and securely locked when I did come pick it up. The best part was when I pedaled home. It rode like a dream. Fantastic to feel my ride so smooth again.

Excellent service! I know nothing about bikes so I went in to get my brakes tightened, and they were ready to help me with just a couple questions about what I wanted changed. The fix only took a couple of minutes and afterwards I was on my way.

We had a great experience renting the e-bikes for a half day around Durango. The area was very bike friendly and the shop was easy to navigate around. The e-bike kept the effort low so that it was a leisurely ride despite the hills and distance we chose. Staff was helpful and gave trip advice to different customers depending on what they desired and was very knowledgeable on the area. Looking forward to renting again on our next trip!

Four of us rented bikes for a day earlier this month after arriving in Durango. Cruised up and down the Animas river trail and stopped at Animas Brewing Company. The staff at Pedal the Peaks were knowledgeable, friendly and great to work with. Highly recommended

Our group rented 5 bikes from Pedal the Peaks for a San Juan Huts 5-day trip. Dave and his crew got us set up with some awesome gear and made sure we were ready for anything the trail threw at us. We flew in from Tennessee with nothing and Dave set us up great. They went ABOVE and BEYOND what Ive ever experienced or expected from a bike shop. Absolutely the best experience with a business Ive ever had. I feel like five stars is not a high enough rating!

This place is the best bike shop I have ever been to. Heres my story.I went to 2nd Ave sports first because they said they had hard tail mountain bike rentals for 45 dollars for a half day. I got there and they were out of everything except extra large. So I walked over to Pedal The Peaks.The owner rented me and my friend FULL SUSPENSION bikes for 45 dollars for a half day. We had a great time and got rained on. When we got back to the shop they let my friend wash his bike off with their pressure washer.I just got a hand written post card from them in the mail thanking me for renting with them last month.This bike shop rocks!
