Sooo frustrating. Im fostering kittens and discovered we now have a flea issue. I ran out as soon as I saw them to get home and pet treatment. Could not find anything for cats. Finally found someone to help, I asked if they had anything in stock. She replied yes, locked upfront and walked away. Gee thanks, one cashier working and, what Im assuming was a manager? Dressed in normal clothes and wouldnt know they were an employee. I put everything back and went to TSC which actually had care , treatment and helpful customer service.

Such a large amount of merchandise and food and pets to choose from at Pet Smart. It is always very well maintained and clean and I totally enjoy taking my time looking at the live pets, pet toys, and habitats for all types of animals. I always look forward to visiting Pet Smart.

Had bad experience with our pup getting burnt by the clippers ! Had to pay for a vet visit later that night and all !!! He also was nicked in a few places and clumps of hair were left in between his paw pads!!! Our pup is so sweet , how could anyone do this to him ? :(Review update: An hour following the above review, a manager from PetSmart called and inquired about the situation and offered her sympathy. She also offered to send us the coupon book we paid for when originally paying for the " special " grooming but we have yet to receive months later. She also stated that she would give us a complimentary grooming with " extras"the next time we were in with Ryker but after the failing of our coupon book being mailed to us, I have a feeling our comp grooming with " extras" will also be another " pipe dream" that also wont occur at the conclusion of our next scheduled grooming but I will come back on here and update this review if what she promised ( I.e the coupon book with over $savings and the comp grooming with " extras"actually takes place! Crossing our fingers ! We believe in you PetSmart !!!

This PetSmart engages in deceptive business practices and has for quite some time. I dont know if its common among other PetSmarts but I have had issues in the past with this one. Items ringing up at the wrong price or sales stickers left up and prices refusing to be honored. We usually do not shop here but my son wanted to look at fish last week because he found out they were having a sale. He decided he wanted a beta but his tank wasnt ready yet. He spent the last week getting the water in balance. I go back today to pick up the fish that is clearly advertised for 50% off and was told that beta fish were not included. Either PetSmart doesnt think a beta is a fish, or once again, they refused to honor their sign. Confusing things even further, the fish rang up at $24.99 + tax instead of the $19.99 + tax that was on the sign for the beta fish. When it became clear they were not going to honor any of their advertised pricing, I just left.I have included a picture of the sign in the store. If someone can explain to me how I am wrong, I will remove this review. The sign clearly says "All fish" with no mention of exclusions.

Very very poor grooming this time! I was absolutely shocked how carelessly she cut my dogs hair. Dog looked scruffy and totally uneven . I also don’t think they even gave her a bath!plus they had said I’ll get 20% off because they had cancelled my previous appointment last minute but I was charged the same price as always $ 76.-! I have to now fix up my dogs haircut myself! The groomer Jill said she couldn’t groom her properly because she can’t lift her legs! Total nonsense! She was just too lazy or inexperienced to do the work ! This NEVER happened at PetSMART before!! So disappointed!

The grooming for pets at petsmart are HORRIBLE, I have taken my shih tzu for grooming twice the first time her hair cut was completely uneven, short pieces long pieces . It was my first time using Petsmart so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried them one more time and the 2nd time was worse then the first time. So never again will i use Petsmart grooming EVER! they ask for specifics of what you want done and just goes in one ear and out the other

Gave 4 stars because stocking has been low alot, but other than that the employees have been very knowledgeable and if they dont know they will go ask someone who knows or trys to find more information for you! They were very helpful in getting supplies for my new pac man frog 🐸 and also gave me tips on keeping him happy and safe. They like Luke warm soaks once or twice a week.

PetSmart is getting bad nothing in stock management dont know how to run the store we ask the manager to get more of our food in just clarify it we have a prescription food for our kids. They dont care if they dont carry all the prescription food it seems PetSmart is only for the dogs they dont care about the 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈

Their groomers are amazing!! Jenna took extra time with my babies, letting them get to know her and feel comfortable and safe. All the other ladies that were there were so friendly and helpful as well. I will never take my dogs anywhere else than Petsmart for their grooming‘s.

Thank you so much 4 the help in getting my bird Kaneki his sheets for the bottom of his cage. You guys were great. They suggested NOT 2 get the sandpaper From home depot... Because the dust would hurt my baby... Great thinking guys...😚🥰😍😘

Would give 0 stars if I could. Grooming can’t handle large breed dogs because they don’t have skilled staff to do the job right. I’ve worked in the veterinary field for more than 2 years. To say a dog is “stressed” is just an excuse to cover up lack of skill. The salon is too small by any means to handle more than one dog at a time. Don’t even waste your time with this place.

Love this place, staff very friendly and helpful , but i only gave 4 stars because the prices are much to high they should give discounted prices on necessities like food food supplements over the counter medicines litter they should discount the people like me who are on low income and have 10 rescues even donate a bag of food for every bag purchased or even every 2 bags donate 1 bag , they did it for me in West. Va years ago i noticed in West. VA. EVERYONE helped me with all my rescues home depot, lowes, helped me with fencing gave me a huge discount , i mean huge ! Pet smart donate a bag of food for every bag i bought , i found a veterinarian who knocked 75% off all my bill everytime i brought in a dog or cat, and sometimes he would waive the whole bill , help for animals would spay or neuter and give all their shots, deworm treat for ear mites fleas on all my new rescues for free the people in West Va care more about the animals than they do money , here in md. They could care less especially the Vets the shelters are so overwhelmed i may not have much money for vets but at least they get fed properly a warm home and lots of love if you prove to them you are helping animals they should have compassion and help me with them but they would rather have me go without paying my bills , and would care less if they died or not , i cant remember when i went shopping to buy myself something if i need clothes its from good will just so i can spend my money on helping my rescues Veterinarians in Md. Should help the less fortunate commit to their feild of having compassion for animals not just to make money 😒 and i think store like pet smart and walmart should help as well to those who are poor because we take the majority of our money and use it to help these poor animals 🙏🏽😿🙏🏼

I got my first pet! I enjoyed the kindness of the associates and they made sure I was prepared and helped me look for everything I’d need. I enjoyed talking to them and felt like I was conversing with a friend.

Our grooming experience this time was awful. Stella didnt look trimmed at all her bow was hanging in her eyes frustrating her. Very disappointed will be looking for a new groomer.

Very very nice, but I was charged way to much Nd my dogs didnt get the cuts I asked for.but saying that... I have little dog with Seizures and she was sitting in a lap of one of the front desk ladies haveing a blast with a grin on her face.

Everyone is always so pleasant despite being an extremely busy location. Its also a larger store so the selections are generous. My Bully baby loves her "spa" days, and they do an amazing job getting her fresh and clean. Theres also a (busyBanfield at this location which makes vaxxes and quick checkups convenient and inexpensive when needed, but book well ahead.

My name is Seth Green and I frequent the Salisbury Petsmart rather often and i have alot to say. First things first the people who take care of the animals do such an amazing job and they look amazing doing it! The cashiers, especially Jorban and Linbsay do such an amazing job. They are always so welcoming and helps make my experience so wonderful. I also really enjoy talking with Bri in petcare. We are always talking about all of the reptiles and I can really tell that she loves all the animals there. Lastly, I was able to have an awesome conversation with Nakita about the chameleons and birbs, she has so much education about the fields of both animals. Taylor, Kayla, Josh (with the beard), and Tyler do amazing jods at what they do and I feel so lucky that I am a customer at Salisbury’s Petsmart!

The staff are very friendly, caring and show a true love of their work. I had no reservations about leaving my Yorkie in their hands. The groomer I had (Jillwas so good, she groomed Jack my Yorkie just as I had asked. I definitely will be back when its time for Jacks next grooming.

I love everyone that works at this store!! They are so knowledgable about all of the small animals, reptiles and birbs. Taylor help me get everything for my child Gary (veiled chameleon baby). Everytime i go in for foob or new things for Gary, everyone lubs to help :)

I just recently adopted a rescue and found out he has heartworms. He started the treatment for it over about 2 weeks ago. A few days ago I called the groomers that are located there in the store and scheduled an appointment for my dog to be seen (the basic package-a bath, get his nails trimmed, etc.They asked me several questions but the only medical(ishone was if he was current on his rabies shot and told me I would have to bring in proof. I show up to the appointment with all of his vaccination records (just to be safe). Before they began they asked me a bunch of questions, one of which was if he was currently undergoing treatment for heartworms. I told them he was and they said they wouldnt be able to groom him. They said grooming can be stressful for an animal and could increase his heart rate, which is a HUGE no-no for a dog thats being treated for heartworms. I totally understand their reasoning and sincerely appreciate their concern for my dogs health. My thing is this-why couldnt they have asked me that over the phone when I scheduled his appointment? I drove over 30 minutes to get there (so over an hour round tripfor nothing. It was a big waste of time and gas and I was just really irritated with the whole situation. But before I left I ended up chatting with a few of the staff members and they were awesome, as was the groomer I dealt with. They were all super friendly and sweet and seemed very knowledgeable. Thats why I rated the store 3 stars. Otherwise it would have just been 1 star. I really hope they change their policy when it comes to pre-screening for grooming appointments. That whole situation just left a bad taste in my mouth.

The manager was rude and nasty and barely let me get my question out. When I asked to speak to the manager he snapped at me and said I am the manager... I also work in retail so instead of taking time out to see how he can better assist me he brushed me off... I dont know his name but I was at this location on a Saturday July 17th at 10:52Am.. so whoever this manager is he needs to be retrained on how to assist customers... I understand people have a bad day but whatever issue he has should have been left outside the doors of PetSmart and not taken out on a regular customer.

I have a very shy rescue dog that has been excepted and treated very kindly. He has only been there twice and doesnt seem to mind the grooming. I am very happy with the groomer Danielle in the Salisbury, Md location. Im elderly and greatful for your service !

Walked in and the first person I saw that worked there of course had her mask down. She pulled it up when I approached her to ask where the doggie pools were.No help as it was my very first time ever there.She points but wont take me tells me Ill see it.Got turned around and I wish I got the ladies name. She was busy but I asked another employee where the doggy pools were, she stopped what she was doing and walked me to the pools, good customer service, cause the first one was horrible. Thank u to the second lady so appreciated

Google says: “INVESTIGATION CONFIRMED 47 DOGS HAVE DIED DURING OR RIGHT AFTER PETSMART GROOMING APPOINTMENTS”Don’t ever leave your dog with GROOMER KIM! I gave her specific instructions of what I liked him to look and even showed her pictures and she saved my dog! He looks awful, I’m frustrated and sad. The manager did nothing to help and didn’t believe that I didn’t have Kim those instructions. I showed her the pictures too. I will never ever go there again. Please do not take your dogs there. They were all rude and did not listen for what you ask for. NEVER GO WITH KIM !!! You will regret it. I don’t even think she’s certified.

I left my dog today at pet smart for grooming at the Salisbury store in 105 E N pointe drive 21804. I was excited to have this PetSmart close by with a grooming saloon, but not worth it at all. Do not go to this location to get your dog groomed!! Ive taken my dog to couple of different places for grooming but today I had the worst experience of my life. I took my maltipoo for his appointment. When I walked in the groomer Kim checked my puppy and said she will have to charge extra for taking knots off since the puppy had some. I showed her pictures of what I wanted him to look like and to PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE HEAD we pick the puppy up and he look like a RAT! She saved the puppy and trimmed the head A LOT! I gave her special instructions and told her to keep my puppy’s hair longer and show her pictures. When I went to pick up my puppy, I was very disappointed, sad, mad and frustrated to see my puppy completely shaved, hair on her ears were completely shortened. He looked horrible and different like a sick puppy, groomer KIM did A HORRIBLE JOB, her coat looked so terrible, neck area, behind the ears was completely shaved like no hair,legs looked slim, his private parts had blood. I wish I would have never taken him here. After talking to manager she just did 25% discount for terrible experience and she was on Kim side when she lied to her that I gave her those instructions. I will never take my puppy back to this place again, never ever go with the groomer KIM

Went to purchase fish . I got a Betta & all the items & food needed to keep it safe & healthy. Took it home & set up the aquarium etc. to my surprise the Betta died the next day ! I returned it to PetSmart and got a replacement . Took it home & fed it , watched it carefully. This one seemed healthier as it was swimming around pretty well. But unfortunately it passed away the next day too !! There must be some bacteria in the larger aquariums as well as the small containers they keep them in ! Don’t recommend purchasing fish from PetSmart !!

When I go in, it always seems they are under staffed. Last visit, they had put the shrimp in a small pet habitat and stuck them with the crabs or toads. Im suspecting they do not check them often so much all but one shrimp was alive. You cant see the shrimp unless you either look at the waterline or open the lid due to the humidity. Out of mind out of sight, slightly tragic for those crustaceans. Ive bought fish from this store in the past and have aged them out in my tank which is good. Prices for general cat and dog food on the high end just like its competitor. They are good in a pinch if you need supplies asap otherwise Id recommend shopping online.

First time shopper sees lots of inventory and choices, but no help in sight. We spent 45 minutes and several hundred dollars on a new puppy without being offered any assistance. Cashier is friendly, but doesnt have a clue about the rewards program, quotes inaccurate rules.

Never stocked. Employees rarely know what they are talking about. They constantly give conflicting advice. Before buying any small reptile or other pet from there, Google Ricks Reptiles. They are the wholesale supplier for petsmart. You wont want to buy another animal from them again. Please buy reptiles from a private breeder or adopt through a rescue.

I like the service. But the reason I gave this rating is the store is not very clean. I know animals are allowed in side which is fine. But when you see dirty restrooms that are discussing and are like that all day, thats just wrong. In the main store area in the middle of the day thats just wrong. It should not be left for the night crew when customers come in and out during open hours..

They did an absolutely wonderful job on our dog bandit. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, the pet grooming center is very clean and quiet.The entire store is very clean. It is very organized, and products are easy to find, and there are plenty of associates to help you.The prices are very reasonable.

Salisbury location is horrible! Terrible staff!!! I wanted to adopt a kitten for my grandson. We went everyday for a week so we were sure we were making the right decision and to have questions answered. I spent an hour clarifying the adoption process and requirements and informed the staff we would be back around 7pm to complete the paperwork and get our kitten. Staff said "no problem it only takes 15 minutes". We return to the store and staff wouldnt let us get our kitten. Very rude. I was told by cashier and "manager for the evening" that "it is 7:30 at night maam, dont you think its a little late to be coming in here"...(side note the store is open until 9pm). Attitude of staff only grew more unacceptable 😡. Really sad, a rescued pet could have had a home but employees to lazy to process adoption.Totally a different experience than my positive experience in Berlin. Berlin staff are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable.Delmarva Cat Connection should remove their cats from the Salisbury store if they would like for them to have a home.

This place is a puppy playground with employees that LOVE pets. My mini Dachshund enjoys socializing and meeting new furry friends every time we go in. Thank you for the grand welcome!

The staff is great, we get our Chocolate Labradors nails trimmed there. He doesent like his feet messed with but they do a good job keeping him calm and they are fast.
