The Pig in Alberta has some super nice employees and a very helpful manager! Everyone i encountered was so helpful and polite. I had been calling all around town to different grocers about a specialty grocery item i have trouble finding & it was waiting at the register when I arrived! Store was very clean, organized & well stocked even with all the shortages we are experiencing.

People are really nice

My Dad wanted some souse meat and cheese...this was the only place I could find exactly what he was looking for.

Its never overcrowded when I go no matter what time of day and all the employees have a great attitude and provide great service. Very clean as well to be such an old store.

I love shopping at Piggly Wiggly! They always have the items Im looking for, especially those 2&3 layer Caramel Cakes in the freezer section!! They are sooooo good!!!!!!!!🥮

The cashiers was helpful but your managers need more training. They stood in my face and didnt help me or didnt greet me. A cashier finally asked me what i needed help and they went to the office to help me. I will NEVER shop there again!

We are in Northport for the Thanksgiving Holiday. This has been our go-to store this week.

Cashier couldnt get payment card to work and store was crowded so had to use different options. She mustve been new.

Better items than any other Piggly wiggly but no Milo lemonade sweet tea Piggly wiggly at Walmart are the only stores that sell this as I know of

I was disappointed when I went in yesterday and they told me they no longer do Western Union. The store needs to be updated. Its pretty run down.

Was a good visit other than I couldnt get my beer. Had like 18 min. left before it was 12.

I was not impressed, the produce looked bad. There were flys in the store on produce and in meat counter. There was a smell of bad meat when you walked in the store. This was my first visit to this store. I have been in other stores and loved them. I will not be shopping there again.

This is one of the only stores in Tuscaloosa, that sells 86elevwn artesian water, great water by the way! Also this store has hard to find specialty meats got southern cooking.

The best place to purchase meat from that wont break the bank. Its always clean and the cashiers are friendly and fast.

The meats are at good prices. But the dog food and other essentials are high priced. Only go for certain foods.

Meats very good clean good selection. But prices on other food items ,cans and frozen too expensive!

We shop there a pretty good bit!U can pretty much find what you want in there. But I like Walmart better!

Love the dollar items you really save money here just have to take your time walk around spot items on sale

A great place to shop and save. They dont have the best fresh fruits though. Watch the frozen food also. Its like their freezers thaw and refreeze sometimes, causing some frozen food to be icey. It happens there quite often. Thats why I didnt give t stars.

Their prices are ridiculous on most items. I feel like they prices fix because most their patrons are locals and some have to walk the Pig. Dollars days are a joke.

Ive been looking for a store with quality MEAT and SERVICE. I CALLED the Northport store today and explained that I couldnt get to the store myself and my wife is uncomfortable picking out good steaks for me to cook.. I also told him I needed 2 ribeyes about 13 to 14 ounces for grilling tonight. I took a chance on this guy and my dinner.I didnt ask how much or give him any requirements except for size and the fact that I was in a bind..Im not sure what his name was but it was at 2pm on tuesday june 21 2017.The steaks were ready at 4:30 and were perfect. Im always complemented on my grilling skills....but you must have a good cut of beef to make that happen..Thank you BUTCHER SHOP and Piggly Wiggly for hiring people who will go the extra mile for a picky, loyal customer like myself.. I will bring you my buisness.

I normally dont give lower reviews, but the last time I shopped here I was offended by one of the checkout ladies. She started talking about sex offenders and then about Catholic priests. She made a very general statement condemning all priests. I grew up Catholic, and none of the priest I know would ever hurt a child. I dont deny there are bad people out there, but not all are bad. Please make sure your cashiers do not express their personal beliefs to customers. I like the store over all, but I wont go back because of that particular instance.

The Pig is a landmark. Everything is easy to find, and if it has the Pig label you can bet its quality and a lots cheaper. Their meat comes from Olnni Ill, one of the cleanest meat packing companies I have ever been in, and the same meat they sell in Winn Dixie. They purchase it in 50 pound boxes and the meat is only hours fresh by the time it gets to the warehouse. The management is always friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I have never found a problem on any of my receipts, and trust me I check them all. Its a great place to shop. See you there.
