Pilot Travel Center in Tift County

11/4/22 Glad I’m seldom over the road. $2.26 for a coffee refill. Can’t use Pilot Points because their system is down. Toilet seat in shower #2 wasn’t loose. Hope I never have to come here again anytime soon

Theres a pretty bad maintenance problem at this location. POS system is down often. The area where the food and drinks are just horribly dirty and look like they havent been maintained or cleaned for a year. The bathrooms, idk where to start, it would be nice if the towel dispensers worked and are stocked along with working soap dispenser that has, you know, soap. Outside in the truck fueling area theres a problem with beggers coming up and asking for whatever theyre asking for.

Shower would scald then freeze you. There was trash on the floor and in the shower. 24 year veteran, kind of immune to that stuff(almost). People at the counter were very nice. I didnt complain about the shower. Very long lines, due to being short staffed.

Employees of pilot great five stars for them but ridiculous that they will have steak and shake close at 7:30 pm at a truck stop and subway out of bread. Its a truck stop for truckers who would have steak and shake here if they close that early I am gonna have to start running my truck 8:00am to 2 pm for now on and not worry what I got on the truck people will just have to wait

Honestly I’ve been going to these truck stops for a very long time. This is by far the worst as for as cleanliness I’ve been to this far. The trash in the fuel island is just piling up to where the drivers are just throwing the trash on the ground. The trash cans in the parking lot is the same way. The steak and shake restaurant is filthy as well. I refused to eat there. Something really needs to be done to this place. I’ll stop again if need be, but I dare not eat anything here. So disgusting.

This is the most awful location. Their employees always have terrible attitudes!!! 😡

Let me start by saying I rarely write a bad review, but today I have to . Ill start with the good. The employees were very friendly. The 2 young gentlemen in the shower area had very clean showers and not a wait to get a shower. With that being said, it was the only part of this store that was clean. The restroom was a disaster, coffee area was horrific. They were out of a couple bean to coffee beans , and creamers as well. The grill roller items were out every time I went into the store. The counters and machines were filthy. Only small cups , even after letting the staff know, they never restocked. The staff was friendly , but did not seem to be concerned about the cleanliness of store or whether it was stocked . I doubt that I ever return here. Also, the laundry machines ONLY take credit/debit cards. No coins / pilot points accepted .

Soda fountains broken, no ice, no bagged ice either. Very dirty. took 30 mins to get 1 sandwich at subway. Which was out of ice and soda as well

Tight parking spots, hardly any help there. Steak and shake doesnt have a full menu anymore. However the Shower cleaning guy was awesome. Showers are clean and nice. 5 stars to the cleaning guy the rest of the faculties are iffy.

Its a negative too cuz I went to the pilot up in Tifton over the weekend and it looked like no one works there they dont like they dont even have a maintenance man talking about the floor was dirty the outside was full of trash

Typical truck stop nothing special, 2 stars because I felt I was dirtier after the shower than before. Bring your own towels as I think they throw used ones in dryer without washing to save time....

Clean store and happy employees! Parking lot is sketchy and tight to back up when it’s late night !

Im a 65+ woman 👵🏾 & I declare, this is the CLEANEST stop for convenience 🏪 I have EVER visited. The restrooms sparked, the food was fresh, the people were friendly & there are happy, satisfied customers everywhere. I cannot sing its praises enough. Did I mention that the restrooms are so clean, you dont have to touch ANYTHING. The room smelled fresh & I cant believe Im talking about a rest stop.

Id like for them to put a mute button on the pumps.

Showers are dirty they do not clean hardly at all I had a dirty rag left in my shower and it’s obvious nothing has been sanitized and washed down absolutely horrible they do have decent parking but I’m scared I’m going to catch something taking a shower here.

This is by far one of the most nastiest travel truck stops that I have been to just workers sitting behind the desk ,playing on any phones when the coffee machines are empty and you dont have sugar or different additives to add to your coffee thats missing from the coffee area and the machines are always broken.

The steak and shake is closed. There is subway, but theres no place for the drivers to sit and relax while eating their dinner. Restroom dirty and in disrepair. Cashiers are very rude.

The showers are nasty, hot water comes and goes, like a 3rd world country.

One of the nastiest pilots Ive been in. Bathrooms were awful.

Place is disgusting, the steak and shake stinks to high heaven walked in and walked right back out,place is a mess,will definitely not be doing anymore business at this craphouse!!!

One of the worst truck stops by far. The bathroom is always dirty along with the whole store. They are always under stocked. The drink station is a disaster and I get asked for money by panhandlers here more than anywhere else.

Dirtiest pilot Ive ever been in. Almost as bad as all state truckstop north of here. I see a lot of posts on here about it but nothing being done to correct the problem.

This place sucks! Everything broken and dirty, dirty drink machine, dirty coffee machine, both half broke. Had to pay for gas inside cause card reader at pump was broken. Dont waste your time.

first the lot is good sized But people drive trucks and cars worse then a race track here. they do NOT clean showers good at all as you can see by my pictures. now trash in the can is fine but on the floor thats plain lazy. the staff I did deal with were nice.

We drove 30 miles to this location. We made a non fuel purchase in excess of $300. The clerk was sighing and not real service oriented. We felt like an inconvenience to her day. Then we found the green tea out. The unsweetened tea out and the sweet tea was barely colored water. The coke zero was out. It was at this point we gave up.

Shower 5 has almost no water pressure. Several old reviews mention it. Saving grace is the awesome guy taking care of the showers. He got me set up right away in a different one. All the stars go to that man, thank you.

Filthy inside and out and the employees at the Subway are low class and unprofessional. Cursing at and in front of customers is just unacceptable. Complaints to the “manager” are not taken seriously at all and whoever is responding to these reviews all give the same generic message. This location needs to be shut down.

This is one of the Worse ds . Perhaps subways in been in .Subway employees unprofessional. They given customers anything besides what the sub requires. Do to they in a rush to purchase they needs making a joke about in the customers face . Because they too lazy to go in the back for more meat etc.

Cortney helped assist me with the showers and was doing a good job cleaning up and stuff. The shower was nice and clean and the towel smelled fresh.

Top 5 NASTIEST BATHROOM I’ve ever walked into. Urine everywhere, feces in the floor, employees too busy hanging out with their buddies than concerned with their jobs. Perfect place for a Buc-ee’s. Very disappointed Pilot would even allow their sign to fly over this disgusting excuse for a family friendly travel center.

This has to be one of the dirtiest truck stop in the country. From the parking lot to the store inside. Windows are snotted up, from front doors to the subway glass. Been here all week up and down I-75. Nobody cleans here. Some sinks and stalls are inoperable. Shelves are empty and coffee is out at 0730 a.m. staff is friendly but no drive or initiative for pilot. Ask one of the ladies if she was going to make more coffee she stated it was not her job. And vagrants are a problem here. Grounds are not kept up trash everywhere. Management should be put on notice. The problem is beyond bad its dilapidated.

store not very clean mens restrooms out of order half the gas pumps card readers are not working and the ones that are dont have paper in them. This is the worst pilot I have been in. And when you say something about it you get attitude from manager about people not coming to work.

Disappointed with this location, both bathrooms were dirty. The men’s had broken urinals covered with bags, the pump I pulled into was out of service. The second one had a broken windshield cleaner. Then no outside gas receipt was printed so out of paper. Other pilots we use are well maintained, not anything like this location.

This station is filthy dirty. The store room next to the womens bathroom had stuff all over the floor, floors were wet. Card readers were out at the pumps. There were boxes (of what I assume was new stockon the floors blocking half of the aisle. ICK.

So theres a lady standing at the counter with her hands on her hips, i ask if the subway was open she says no. Theres a fully stocked row of food on there to make sandwiches with but its being wasted?...her reply was yes. Theres clearly a sign that says "breakfast 24hrs a day"...maybe its not people of my complexion...

Came in last night plenty of parking. Here for 34 hr break so go in for shower and Kim at the register doesnt seem to like her job. She thru my change across counter (all bills). I was 2 waiting after 15 minutes i walk thru and every shower is dirty. No one cleaning. She said maintenance is gone. 3 people in counter area. Poor management. Again she threw my money and receipt across counter. So rude!!!

A first-rate Truck Stop!!! Pilot #192 in Tifton, GA, is an excellent place for professional truck drivers, tired after a long shift, to rest, eat, and shower! Best showers I have ever been in. Staff was polite and friendly and there was lots of parking even late into the afternoon!

Clean restrooms, friendly and cheerful staff. The store was extremely busy, as expected for an early morning at a truck stop, but the staff was still friendly to everyone, while moving people through the line quickly at checkout. Great start to what is usually a hectic day, thank you Pilot!

Showers are clean and just by 5pm its packed. But overall no complaints.

Good. I spent 4 days here waiting on a load without a problem. The ladies at subway subway know how to load the sandwiches. They got a drivers lounge with comfortable seats. They got the good coffee bean grinder machine. The only reason for 4 instead of five stars is the back part of the parking lot like by the shop to the blue beacon smells like piss very bad. The blue beacon also does really good. Overall I was very satisfied. I am highly likely to stop if Im in the area again.

Great place to stop. Great coffee, and lots of snacking food. Everything is geared towards drivers, whether professional or not. Travelers are the main focus. Foods that can be consumed while driving. Great that they provide health conscience foods also.Good gas prices also.

I backed my R.V. Van up in the front and took a nap. Busy place close to interstate. Store was very clean and workers nice at 5 A.M.

Pilot has been my favorite for some time now. They have made the ease of use for the rewards program a priority and it has payed dividends. Although not all locations provide the same amenities or parking space the staff is always courteous and professional.

I see the owner is active with the comments. Your store is under manage. I went in at 0615 for a shower an all the showers were dirty, automated system turned off and 1 person working.After the system was turned back on it gave me a shower that was already taken....Thanx Donald for your help

This is the most DISGUSTING truck stop Ive been to yet. The bathroom was nasty. Walking through the parking lot, the smell of urine is nauseating. I know they can do little to keep men from peeing out here but by the looks of it, this place hasnt been hosed down in years. The only reason they get an extra star from me is because of the Steak and Shake restaurant on the premises. The food was a great value, decent quality, and the servers personality was icing on the cake.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The female manager has an unacceptable attitude problem. In the 15 minutes it took to check out, she verbally accosted three of the customers. There were 16 people in line to check out and not a single open register. Absolutely horrible. Avoid stopping here and co fine down to the next exit for gasoline.

Parking lot is huge that is very well put its comfortable and efficient I want to say the same thing with the diesel pumps but they still look inside you can find a steak and Shake and also a Subway. Good place for lunch. You also get a truck wash and a good gas pump for cars. Service is very good.
