My favorite place in town for smoothie bowls. They’re consistently delicious and they have great vegan options!

I have recently traveled to Delaware with my mother. Me being me, decided to look for an acai bowl place. I found this one...and thank God I did. We both love this place. Great prices for the size of the bowl. I highly recommend the Olas Banana Bowl.

Delicious food with a ton of options. Be prepared to wait in the summer mornings. Kudos to the young ladies behind the counter working hard to crank out the orders. Had some Acai bowls that were great.

I came to Rehoboth Beach for vacation last week 6/19/2022.. I stopped by Playa Bowls for take out. At first walking in the menus were overwhelming but when I decided what I like and wanted it was fine. The bowl was beyond something I never had before. The fruits were fresh.. presentation was also amazing. Overall it tasted absolutely amazing!! It was sweet, healthy and satisfying. Only regret was I wish a spot like this would open up in my area.

I first tried Playa Bowls in Florida and fell in love with the vibrant colors and flavors of their bowls. I was pleased to stumble upon this location in Rehoboth. While very good, I was a little disappointed as the mango was a little under ripe with a couple pieces being slightly green and chewy. I would come back to try again for sure though.

I love playa so I hate writing this review but this location is not the quality you expect from playa. We have visited them in multiple states and our experience in rehobeth was awful. We waited over 30 mins for our bowls while everyone else got theirs in minutes. When they finally gave us our bowls the orders were wrong (even though they were straight off the menuthey didn’t give our smoothie and when I asked for it she said I made it can’t help if you don’t have it? Wth. Our bowls were totally melted no apologies. We ended up throwing over 1/2 away because they were inedible. If you’re in a group I would recommend one bowl per order at a time so that your bowls aren’t watered down. They seriously made 6 orders while we waited. It’s a shame. They need supervision.

Location never seems to be open, especially for the first day of the tourist season and start of summer to be closed before 7pm is just ridiculous and awful for business. When they are open, the exclusively female staff move ridiculously slow and have gotten my order wrong more times than theyve gotten it correct. Ive been a fan of the Playa Bowls brand for years, and if it wasnt for them being the only place in town I would not suggest their service to anyone. Be sure to bring your patience with you.

We fell in love with Playa Bowls during our shore week. When you have dairy and gluten issues or just want a healthy alternative, this place is a life saver. Your kids will love it! Everything is fresh and made when you order. The staff is very nice and happy every time we went in. If you go in the beginning of your week, sign up for their rewards/ membership, its no cost and will save you money when you go back, and you will!!😁 Its a great sub for ice cream, breakfast bowl or anytime!

Pretty good smoothie. Definitely more on the expensive side, I ended up paying $10 including tip for my drink. Wished my coffee flavored smoothie would have tasted a little more like coffee, it was more peanut butter-y than anything.

very quick and good service the food itself was 100/10, only complaint was that i had called before i came in and no one picked up (i called twicebut then i walked in 10 minutes later and there were at least 8 employees working. other than that though it was a very good experience.

Worst açaí bowl I’ve had so far! I ordered the Pura Vida and substituted the blueberries for mangos.The açaí purée was watery and way too sweet, there was barely any granola on top of it and the fresh fruit was sour. Also, the customer service at this location was terrible.The girl who gave me my order proceeded to say my order name instead of attempting to say my actual name but clearly said the name of the girl whose order came after mine. After she saw the look of disappointment on my face she gave me a fake smile and said have a nice day. Don’t ask for customers names if you are just going call out their order instead. As a POC, I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable.

I just want to shout out the amazing staff that were there Sunday morning 7/11 around 8:30 am, especially manager Alex. A completely disgruntled and absurd customer came in ranting about the mask mandate, shouting about communism and even gave all these girls the finger. It was like a scene from the news that goes viral. She even shoved and slapped her husband when he came to try to get her to leave. Alex and the whole staff remained calm and professional, simply trying to explain things and then (rightfully soasking this woman to leave.. all while being verbally assaulted by this lunatic. Kudos to all the girls there that morning.. and the açaí bowls are DELICIOUS!!

Went here twice. First time they forgot to make our order which was 2 items. Second time they got out order wrong even though we ordered straight from the menu. Its too pricey for that kind of bad service.

I tried the vegan protein balls, acai smoothie, and strawberry/coconut/honey bowl and the food itself was very good, fresh, and was delivered relatively quickly (via doordash).My only gripe would be the cost; via doordash the smoothies are ~$10 and bowls are ~$12-$15

The bowls they make are always outstanding and very fresh… I highly recommend.

I will not be coming to this establishment ever again! My boyfriend and I were the only two POC’s here and had to wait over 20 mins for our order. Every single person who came in after us received there order before we did. When we asked about our order the employees were very nonchalant and acted as if they didn’t care. When we finally got our order we were the last two people in the whole establishment, and at that my order was wrong! I just left and didn’t say anything because I already felt like the employees did something to my bowls! I am disgusted by the treatment my boyfriend and I received here. I love açaí bowls and am appalled by my experience here. NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME HERE!5/15/2020

PLAYA BOWLS IS THE BEST!!! I will say that it is a little bit expensive, but trust me-everything is so so soooo good! 10/10 and highly reccomend!! I usually get the nutella playa bowl, and I would eat it everyday for the rest of my life if I could.

SO many items on the menu. I want to try them all. Just pretty much anything you could want out of an acai bowl/juice shop.

Cant go wrong with playa bowls. Delicious and reasonably priced. Friendly service at this one but waiting time does varies dependent on the staff

Love playa bowl NICA bowl is one of my favs I add acai and instead of peanut butter I use nutella...... soooooo good 2thumbs up

Have visited twice now with my daughters (13 & 10). Excellent quality, freshness and selections. We had a problem with one bowl (note: on custom bowls, you have to specify NO granolaand they replaced it asap with not even an ounce of shade. Filling and feels like dessert/a treat but relatively healthy-- unless you get extra extra nutella like my 10-y-o. 😂 Mgmt: would be good to add one of those hands-free door pulls (at foot level)!

The bowls were delicious! My mom has celiac, so when she ordered her bowl without granola and told them she was allergic to wheat, they offered gluten free granola! Staff were friendly and fast!

Food and staff were good but very busy. Needed more staff to fill both in store and online orders. It took nearly a half hour to get our food to go and there was a long line still behind us waiting for their in store orders to be made.

Our first time trying this and it was delicious! Nothing like we have ever had for dessert before, and will definitely be coming back.

Soooooo delicious! I took a friend there that hadnt had a bowl before and she was hooked! This is Hawaiian acai bowl quality! Especially love the add ins like bee pollen and cacao nibs :)

This place is amazing! The staff is friendly and efficient, today they had a line out the door the entire timw i was there and they were all still super polite and sweet. The bowls are amazing! There is currently no nutritional info anywhere to be found but I contacted the company and they said it is coming soon.

The bowls were amazing. We had the Pitaya bowl which is an awesome ice cream alternative, the Coconut bowl and the Green bowl. All three were very good. Well definitely be returning! Deducted one star as the tables were filthy and made the entire place feel less than clean.

As of today i have had my second expierience with Playa Bowls. By far the best acai bowls Ive had. My mother who has never heard of acai bowls loved it enough to go back and get her own with me. They offer 3 other bases other than acai and the ability to choose 2 different further the rating. Everything was fresh and it is a laeger than most by a bit. They would have gotten 5 stars but they did get my mothers order wrong. My mom is not one who will complain or go back so she may not finish it. We will be going back if they are still here in the future. Best in Rehoboth!
