PlayMakers Bar & Grill in Neosho County

My partner and I got into town late to spend Thanksgiving with my parents. Playmakers was one of the few places (the only place?in BG with a decent food and drink menu at 9:30 PM. I was surprised by the excellent service, good drink menu including a number of local brews, and great food. I had the BLTA and my partner had a chicken cordon bleu sandwich - both were very good. I plan to come back to this place when I visit BG in the future and highly recommend it to others!

The weight staff never check on your table there. I have tried 4 times. Sometimes I sat at the bar, sometimes I sat at the table, and Id have to walk to the bar to get food or drink. At the bar, I wouldnt need to get another drink or the tab. The food is good however. I tried to like it because its close to my house, but Im just not impressed with the service. 😞

Good people good drinks good grub. Be nice if they didnt shut down early.. other than that great!

Love that they have family karaoke. The Mac and cheese is so good and so are the garlic fries. You wont be disappointed. The bartender was extreamly friendly.

Great drinks, great service

Great Shrimp wrapped in Bacon Meal. 1st visit to here & loved the Food. Not the best pic, I had already Aten most of it. Was that good.

Greeted right away, cold drinks dropped by fast. Fish and chips special was crisp and hot, and also served quick. Excellent service on a hopping busy Friday night.Updating my review from two years ago. It was still a bad experience that night, slow service no food even though I ordered , but today was great!

Premium Exclusive deluxe spot. People beleive me when I say this is the best spot. You wont find a better spot. When you visit this spot youll say daaamn that hit the spot.

My wife ordered food for me as im medically down for now. worst fish n chips ive ever had. ordered extra tarter sauce, none delivered. while waiting for the order my wife was both hit on and when she didnt reciprocate, they mocked her for wearing a mask. ....this place serves garbage and serves garbage.

Pool, beer, and music. The pool table is 50¢. It was a great spot for a beer with coworkers after work. It is pretty busy at meal times. Also the parking lot is tiny so if its busy youll have to get creative.

I have recently stopped coming here due to the amount of over serving their staff believes is okay.I came in to meet my husband who was clearly falling over himself and was unable to stand properly. I told the server to stop bring him drinks, which she only continued to do so everytime I left the table asking security for help getting him out of there. Only to come back to the table to find out there was a unpaid bar tab of almost $200.Would not drink here.

Nice place to get a drink and play a game of pool. Brunch on the weekends is great too!

Went for Birthday/Father’s Day loaded Bloody Mary’s. Whole table of 6, evidently the kitchen was to slammed to make them. Seems funny they would turn down $120!! Worst part is we drove all the way from Vancouver just get them.

Picked up a late lunch for my husband- prices were a bit high, but food was delicious, specifically the pizza! It seems like a popular hang out! Bartender knew many patrons names and was great! Parking was pretty terrible, though.

My wife and I both love this place!Atmosphere: Sports bar with couple pool tables. It does get a little loud and rowdy later in the evening, but that just depends on your preference. We come for the food. Parking is tight.Price: Prices are fair! We love their happy hour menu and their pizza!Food: We havent had any food or drink that was bad yet! I think the only thing wed comment on would be the last time we were there, our pizza toppings were a bit skimpy, but the other times were loaded and super amazing!Service: Weve had decent service here. Definitely get better service during the day, then at night. You can tell when the regulars and friends of the service staff are there, because theres a bit more of a social hour, but overall, I cant complain too much, because theyre polite and we generally enjoy it.Overall: As mentioned above, we really enjoy this place. Its become a regular outing and craving for us to come here. If youre looking for an easy going, comfortable spot to hang and get some good food, this is it. :)

Great food great service with heated out door dinning. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I have had in the worldThe fish and chips was so big I could barely finish it, lightly bread and cooked perfectly. One of the pizzas was on cauliflower crust and tasted amazing! We also had fried pickles which were amazing. Our server Amy was on top of everything and so fun, and she was taking care of the bar at the same time serious high five for her

Pros, our server was wonderful! Their $3 mimosas was a nice surprise.Drawbacks, super, super loud. Like I had to plug my ears. I don’t have issues with that normally. It was before 10am and the table next to us was very drunk and loud. I couldn’t hear the people at my table. No one addressed the issue.Food was just ok.

We live down the road and come here often. Friendly and quick service, food is always delicious. Also has a covered heated patio, that allows kids and dogs. Breakfast is only available on Sat/Sun.. I wish theyd do breakfast on Fridays (or everyday..)!

First time in after driving by regularly for 2 years, and realized what a gem Ive been missing! Loved the atmosphere. Food was great (had Cajun Shrimp, Brussel Sprouts, and Steak Bites). Lots of TVs and the UFC fight. Will definitely return.

Fish n chips are great!! The staff seems like they know what theyre doing, very organized. Truffle fries taste amazing BUT they need less salt and less oil. And the tartar sauce could use more dill in the mix, almost just like mayonnaise with dill sprinkled on top. Other than that, love this place, Ill be back again!!

Good to go service, we ordered fish and chips a lot when quarantine/lockdown was heavily in effect. We came the bar once a few months ago, and it was annoying when they couldnt spare a tv for a Chiefs game we wanted to watch. All the sets were occupied with Seahawks stuff, and they basically told us that they couldnt change the game because the other customers were invested in the Seahawks game. Maybe those people tipped heavy and they wanted to keep them happy. Not worth knocking a star from my review, but I think as a sports bar they should be more open to at least changing ONE tv for a different game. Ill be back for sure, but that was a little odd for me.

Free pool Sunday. Karaoke with Teena is a blast. Bartenders and servers are absolutely the most incredible and down to earth people. Easily to get along with and great way to build lifetime friendships.

We stopped for just a drink...the joint was jumpin.The menu is huge; the server said that the food was mostly chef prepared. We are going back to check it out...I will follow up. Oh, the drinks were generous and delicious 😋Second visit...they did not like that I was particular; I am considered persona non grata! BYE😵

Playmakers is a Hot Spot not only do they have an amazing stuff, great pizza, daily deals, the entertainment is fun. I know of Wednesday night karaoke and on Sundays they have game days there are card games beer pong and a giant Connect Four its pretty fun.And it seems like just about all ages go there while 21 and over that is. I would highly recommend on going and checking it out if you havent already.

Food horrible, service unknowledgeable about drinks or food, what bar doesnt have Coors light? This one! We asked for a Coors light bottle, they bring us a regular Coors in a can?? I will say this, the fries were good.

Ive been to pretty much every bar in Clark County that claims to be "dog friendly" and this one is by far the best. Fast, friendly service, clean, attentive, has something for everyone, and best of all within walking distance from my residence. 10/10.

Food is ok, the drinks are good, and the environment is like your average sports bar. But it really takes a turn in the customer service! These guys will make you feel like youre at a high end bar. They are always friendly and quick to make sure you have a drink. Definitely a recommendation!

Amazing service, and food. My favorite is the BLTA! If that’s not your thing they have a huge menu so I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll love. Taylor is the bar manager and you can always expect great service from him and his bartending team. Shout out to JD and Amanda! You guys kill itCheers

The drinks are well made and the patio is a great place to hangout. Been bringing my dog here and he is well received by everyone.

We came for the karaoke, and we stayed for 4 hours. Was a blast, and Teena kept it fun, and interesting. Encouraging singers, and even sang and danced herself. At one point two other gals, (I think staff, cause they were wearing the below 38 shirts/hoodies got involved and the party was in full force! Waitress was a very prompt with drinks/food. Well be back!

I came across this place as a local watering hole as I was staying with family going to school in Portland. WOW. What an awesome place great food great beer great specials. They seem to have a really good crew running the place. I’ve been been back every night the fist week I have been in battle Ground. Plan on coming back frequently for the next few months.

Talk about local neighborhood charm with fantastic service! Not 30 seconds into sitting down at the bar our waitress was taking our order and making sure we knew who she was. The entire staff were very friendly and eager to make sure our visit was all we wanted it to be.The drinks were poured to perfection, and the bar tenders as well as the remaining staff, showed exemplary professionalism while all the while making sure everyone had a good time.A definite repeat customer!

Stopped in for the Ultimate Bloody Mary. It is ridiculous. Unless you like over the top hot items, I would not order it spicy spicy or real spicy. Just spicy. I like hot food but I found it tough to finish. Staff is super nice with great attitudes and excellent customer service.

We had a nice waitress. Acoustics were loud. Probably will be back.

Ummm Wow! This place is amazing 😋❤ you can tell by the empty plates 🤣😂 We had the bacon jam/peanut butter bacon burger with garlic fries, and bacon wrapped shrimp. First the burger was great, the fries soooooo much garlicky goodness, the shrimp yummy, but the sauce the shrimp was in..... 🙃😍 was the best thing I have ever tasted in a restaurant. I want to eat it on everything. The drinks were also very tasty and Kelly rocked it as a server!! We will definitely be back 😉

Matthew Siesse & Co. have delivered another festive and comfortable local experience for Clark County, WA! St. Patricks Day grand opening was a lot of fun with friendly people! Service was exceptional given the sneak peek opening day excitement! The kitchen also provides the menu items for 38 Below next door! Awesome and Kudos! Outdoor seating is available! There is also a privacy screen in front of the ladies restroom after consulting prospective customers during facility construction!As with any NEW Enterprise, inevitably there are bound to be occasional mistakes or problems! Very pleased with the new bar in BG! Leaps and bounds better than what they had previously. Its impressive when owners can let go of what they were doing and move towards something that is a better fit for their ever growing community. Lots of sports on, friendly staff, and great food!
