Point 99 in Ku-ring-gai

I Went there for the first time. My husband and I had the hazelnut hot chocolate. It was nice. Lindt chocolate had a similar one and quite intense. Would have it any day.

So happy for discovering a cozy place that has multiple options, tasty food. I’d like to kindly remind you guys to wipe very well all dining tables.

This was our first visit. We were very excited to find a halal burger joint in the area. Our overall experience was quite underwhelming though. Here’s why...Ambience - very dark. Tables were a bit sticky but overall ok. The place looked a bit run down.Food - we had the Angus beef burger. The burger patty was quite good. The buns were soft and fresh. But the burger was super sloppy and wet. Not sure if it was wet lettuce they put in.The big reason for the 2 star rating is that shortly after I had this meal, I experienced major “stomach issues” caused probably by bad lettuce.Would I recommend? Probably not. Would I return? Definitely not.

It didnt taste bad. But the cafe is not clean, and staffs were not friendly. Above all, twice of the three times I visited, the kids menu was impossible. I dont think Ill ever go again.

Came here during International Burger Day and I didn’t have any expectation as I didn’t look it up or did any research. To me surprised it is one of the best burger I’ve had in Sydney!!The bun was soft the patty was juicy and even the chips were crisp and amazing! And that secret sauce was perfect!If you are a burger lover, definitely have the Classic Angus Beef Burger.Will definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back to try more food and even have the burger again.Coffee was also amazing!

The service of Chinese male employees is too bad. I ordered a ( toast with condiments and the price was $5.50 on the menu, but he charged me $7. The coffee was all spilled over the cup when the staff bring over, and there was not a single tissue or apologised ! Definitely not recommend to this place.

I tried mediterranean skewer dish which is so tasty, the best healthy meal you can have! Highly recommemded , taste of side sallad is amazing ! You can choose among lamb, chicken and Kefta (minced beef)

In terms of cleanliness, its about a 4/10. Food was quite yummy. I received a warm can of drink (noticed it was warm after having a sipand the Asian young guy at the counter refused to give me a replacement. Then a friendly female employee offered ice in a cup which I was happy about. Just unfortunate about the attitude of the male employee.

Came on Good Friday when they were very busy amd possibly short staffed. Coffee was good and the staff were friendly. However big breakfast was not very tasty, maybe if they were less busy it might have been better

We’ve been here a gazillion times. My friends smile says everything, amazing food, best chicken burger We’ve ever tasted. Only issue is that timings are always off of when they close and open.

Ordered Delish Omelette, waffle and thick shake. Everything was yummy. Delish Omelette is a must try. Very good place to have weekend breakfast time with family. Will definitely recommend.

I had the corned beef with special mayo sandwich and the beef was too salty for my taste buds. It needed something to balance the saltiness. The vibe was good so thinking to try a diff dish next time! I give this place 4 bears

Service was ok .... my son waffles were great but the bananas were raw so much so they were crunchy .. the other major let down on the other meals!Both my partner and I asked for poached eggs, however received hard boiled ..... the sausage was incredibly over cooked as was the turkey bacon. All in all I do not recommend.

Went here a few weeks back with my family. First time eating there. I ordered the lamb burger for my self and my wife had some calamari and chips while my mother in law had a açai bowl. What can I say but wow. The lamb burger dope. Absolutely amazing. You could actually taste the lamb in the patty and just the mix of ingredients was amazing. One of my top 5 favourite burgers on my list. A must try. Also my wife loved the calamari and she is very picky when it comes to calamari lol... the açai bowl was fresh and vibrant to. Keep up the good work guys I appreciate you.

Ordered Spaghetti Bolognese($16.99for lunch. Exceptional quality of food. Served fresh and hot. Great ambience. Good place for a casual hangout. I felt that the food was a little expensive for the portion.

Have tried a variety of dishes but this place is just unable to deliver on any front. The angus burgers have always been undercooked and lead to stomach cramps as does the beef spaghetti bolognese. Fish and Chips are rock hard when they should be tender enough to at the very least chew through and the tartar sauce given had mould on the bottom. To top it off the portions were definitely overpriced for these dishes when compared to similar establishments.

Went there for lunch with the family on the weekend. Ordered 5 dishes and 3 drinks over the counter. When it was read back to me, there were only 3 meals and 1 drink. I had to go over it a few times for the lady to get the order right - except for 1 meal, they were all standard meals from the menu. For one meal i asked for the burger to come with white sandwich bread instead of a brioche bun. I also specifically said "white sandwich bread (which I could see they had), NOT sourdough" because they asked if I wanted sourdough ...but it came with sourdough. We had finished our meals but still hadnt received our 3 smoothies. Went up and asked about it and it was obvious they had forgotten but they just said drinks were coming. By then we were all standing up waiting for drinks which we had changed to take aways. Finally got our drinks - no apology such as "sorry about the wait". This the the first time Ive ever posted a negative review but we really didnt enjoy our experience here.

One of our favourite places to go. They are always very polite, the food is incredible and service is so fast. Ask for the mixed platter! All the meat is cooked to perfection with great garlic dip and perfectly soft flat bread. Moist well cooked and flavoursome chicken with lamb cooked just the way it should be, succulent. We share one of these between us while the kids enjoy some fresh pineapple juice with their fish and chips. Nice atmosphere too. Highly recommended.

Great place for breakfast. You have to try the egg hotpot which tastes awesome.Also they do a bear art on the hot chocolate hahaha.

The Steak Salad and Cream Cheeky Pesto Pasta ordered are both good, steak is cooked as requested, however, drinks are so-so.

The pancake was just ok. Came in at off peak hour and waiting time is about 15 mins. Steak salad also tasted ok, but i feel like the salad portion is a bit too few.Also, even during off peak hour, the staff didn’t immediately restock the cutlery at each table. Had to fetch myself from other table, which was ok since there were few guests. I just wonder why the staff didnt notice this when the staff served me the dishes.

Really liked my salad. Chicken Fungi was so good as well. Customer service was average.

All though the food was nice, points were lost for the poor service. Wait staff were brief in their communication with us, but more importantly didnt seem to be communicating with each other!Meals came out at different times, as did drinks. I dont think it should be that hard for a party of two.I did enjoy the coffee and breakfast, and will continue to go to Point 99 for coffee. But wont be dining in again.

For $16 I enjoyed excellent tasty grill dish. Very hard to find fresh halal meat grilled properly, but Point 99 made it happen.

Had the pasta pesto and the Nutella thick shake.Pasta was good, but very rich and an tick to salty for me, and would choose more penne instead of fettuccine.But the thick shake was amazing! Have never seen them somewhere else and really enjoyed the Nutella flavour, some smarty’s would be worth putting on it but otherwise enjoyed it :)

The food here is very good, especially the mushrooms in the big breakfast, the serving size is generous, justifying the slightly high prices. We had one very cheerful server who couldnt do enough to make us feel welcome. So why a 2 star review? Firstly, one rude server who made us feel everything was a chore for her. And secondly, because we had to ask for so many things. Table was dirty, no cutlery, no serviettes. Normally that wouldnt even justify the loss of a star, but being made to feel like we were imposing on them by asking... But finally, how the owner deals with complaints is the last star off. It appears the standard response is "nobody has ever complained". Theyre right. A lot of cafe owners are defensive and confrontational, so the vast majority of us vote with our feet, and a small portion of us leave poor reviews. Few of us want the angst of complaining to a defensive owner. This review was one bad interaction short of a 5 star review, but thats the way the cookie crumbles.

Great burgers, excellent service especially by Ella, Nabir and the chefs. Also Coffee is on point, some places find it hard to serve up a double riz mac but not Point 99

Honestly by far the most amazing cafe I’ve been to. Service is so good, the staff are so friendly and kind, the food comes out quick and the coffeee is absolutely delicious! I’ve come here multiple times and they have never failed to disappoint! Food is amazing as well!! Highly recommend

Great casual spot for a nice meal.Very friendly staff, great service. Both the chicken burger and lamb & pumpkin salad were nice.The lamb was actually perfectly cooked, could use very slightly more seasoning, and the pumpkin could use some roasting to take to the next level, but really cant complain.Reasonably priced. Very solid 4 stars.

Steak salad is amazing! Burger is delicious! Chips are extremely crunchy and juicy! We had been here for many times, and tried the chicken burger and lamb burger as well as beef burger. For salad, the dressing is too strong. Previously, we have ordered the thick milkshake, which is too sweet so we cannot even finish half of it. Overall, it is a good place for a short break

Had lunch here. Got the vege burger with chips and drink for $16. For that price youd want something good, and it was. The burger was delicious with well cooked haloumi, a soft brioche bun and other fresh ingredients. Chips and dipping sauce were pretty good too. The burger was extremely juicy, so watch out for sticky hands afterwards. Note, coffee here is also pretty good with a good breakfast menu as well.

Surprisingly good food here. Had the Reuben. Also had grilled Barramundi, which was a little bit fishy, but fries were good though. Order and pay at counter.

This is probably my favorite burger place in Macquarie area!🍔Beef burger is amazing!! The coffee is fantastic and so smooth even when you order soymilk.☕️Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome all the time!! Don’t order the thick milk shake!!! We ordered the strawberry milkshake and Nutella milkshake, because they looked amazing on the menu with those fancy decorations. But what we got was just a big glass with a corn ice cream sitting on top, and we’re paying $12 each for this! Very disappointed. But the food we ordered were quite nice.

Best handcrafted burgers, fresh salads and steaks, fish and chips is great too, friendly staff and great deals. Realy nice place to enjoy meal with your friends or get take away

I have eaten here three times and so deemed it appropriate to review this place.The staff were friendly, the kitchen was very clean.They make the best burgers (brings back memories of the old style Milk bar burgers from my childhood), in particular the signature burger, full of flavour, beetroot and mouth watering special sauce.They make delicious smoothies as well.The menu has alot of variety but also look up at the board as there may be extra items such as the grilled chicken salad.Suitable for breaky, lunch or dinner.For$15 got the Meal which includes fries and a coke.

Friends and I were tossing up whether to go to Point 99 Cafe or the Grill’d right opposite it. We’re glad we made the right choice.Point 99 cafe furnishes affordable gourmet burger deals at under $20. I got myself the Point 99 crispy chicken burger meal - with the strong belief that a house burger can’t go wrong.Unlike the snitzel style chicken that we often come across with the fast food chicken conglomerate - yes you know what I am talkin about - Point 99 adopts a unique approach to deep fried their chicken, allowing the outside layer of the chicken to have a crispy but not oily crunch. It goes quite well with the sweet chilly sauce as a garnish.With well cooked fries this has been a splendid burger meal.

I had a lovely time at point 99. Service was 200% great, I was given table water quickly and didnt have to wait. Panna cotta arrived quickly. Could t be happy. Highly recommended.

Burgers are delicious albeit a bit overpriced. Owner is very nice, friendly and polite. Coffee made by the guy with the slick hair is excellent. The staff work very hard and do their best to accommodate everyone. Keep up the great work!

Went with 6 adults and 2 young kids during the easter break and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Each and every one of us loved our food. Price was pretty reasonable and the food was fresh, delicious and the serving size was quite generous. Will be back again.

Awful place - we decided to order skewers - lamb and chicken followed by sweet potato fries , the lamb was over cooked , rubbery and chewy , the chicken was okThe fries were very oily and mushyNo cutleries as you can see in one of the pics, no tissues as wellOne star was for the staff - they all had smiley faces and greeted everyone , but in terms of food stay away

Excellent service provided by friendly staffs. The cafe offers a variety of food on their menu so you can come in anytime of the day and theyll have a dish that will satisfy your hunger. The quality for their food is high and healthy and its what keeps me coming back. Definitely try their eggs Benedict, risotto and Reuben sandwich if its you first time :)

The food here is decent, but if youre looking for a breakfast meal Id look elsewhere as they dont serve real bacon. The dessert themed drinks are good bang for buck (the one pictured features an entire cornetto!); however, they are also sickeningly sweet.
