This is a popular Temple. I was there a couple of time. I am very proud at the moment something change because there is no Buddhist Mafia anymore in front of Temple. Before when you get entrance to the temple they just put some stupid flower into your hands and ask you to pay 100 thb. For the ReUse flower and Candlelight but now all that thing is gone. You can donate by yourself for whatever you feel like. And you can pray and walk around the temple as long as you want. There is a car parking at the temple and also the market in front of the street where you can buy some souvenir awesome food for your friends and family.The temple is very beautiful and the Buddha image in a temple is popular and divine.Must visit once in a lifetime :-)

Amazing unseen Thailand

This temple looks stunning from the outside. The design is very beautiful and its huge. From the inside it was a bit less, however, it was a nice experience.Besides this, it can be quite busy during holidays and weekends, so its recommended to go there some other day.

Outside is picturesque but inside renovation was going on so cannot visit the idol. Opposite side there is a big market can buy many thing. Can say a must visit when in chachoengsao.

Very beautiful and sacred place to pay homage to Laung Por Sothon. This place is famous for praying for success, work, prosperity. Many people always bring boiled eggs as the offerings to Buddha Sothon. You can bring your own or buy boiled eggs from surrounded shops. The temple only takes cash for donation, make sure you have some cash with you.

วันนี้ยังมีผู้คนมาหนาแน่นมาบนบานศาลกล่าว และขอพรกัน ภายในวัดยังมีการก่อสร้าง วันที่เราไปอากาศร้อนเหมือนมีพายุ ฝน เข้า ท้องฟ้ามืดครึ้ม แต่เราก็ไม่หวั่นมุ่งหน้าไปไหว้หลวงพ่อโสธรได้ไปห่มผ้าท่าน ได้สักการะท่าน และขอพรท่าน หลังจาก สักการะสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ เราก็ได้ออกมาแวะซื้อของฝากเพื่อไปฝาก เพื่อนๆ ของฝากมีเยอะแยะแล้วหลากหลาย

ที่จอดรถสะดวก แต่ต้องแลกมากับการช่วยอุดหนุนแม่ค้าขนมจากและช่วยซื้อดอกไม้ที่หน้าบ้านสถานที่นั้นๆ ซึ่งราคาดอกไม้ราคาสูงกว่าปกติ แต่ก็เข้าใจได้ว่าเป็นทำเลธุรกิจ ...ขนมจากหน้าวัดรสชาดอร่อยราคาไม่แพง สามารถซื้อไปเป็นของฝากได้ วันหยุดที่วัดคนจะมาไหว้หลวงพ่อเยอะมาก ทั้งมาไหว้และมาแก้บนไข่ อย่าลืมพกเจลเเอลกอฮอลติดกระเป๋ากางเกงไว้คอยฉีดมือตัวเองและเด็กๆค่ะ วัดสวย คลาสสิค แลนด์มาร์คของแปดริ้วเลยค่ะ ใครที่ได้มาฉะเชิงเทรา ต้องมากราบหลวงพ่อโสธร เพื่อเป็นมงคลชีวิตซักครั้งเป็นอย่างน้อยนะคะ

Arrived at 7.30am in the morning and its quite crowded especially the area that people are coming to do thier fulfilling ones vow.

Yes, I have been. Wat Luang Pho Sothon is a cultural attraction. Its very cool. I dreamed of going to pay respect to Luang Pho Sothon in Chachoengsao province once. Then I went and I would recommend everyone to go. travel This place is awesome, its good for everyone.

This has been a popular temple for a long time. It has been a faithful people coming here to make offerings, especially boiled eggs and pineapples.As well as making general mirror this seems to be an initiative to be lucky and lottery numbers.There are many buildings and it is on the river. I enjoy a quiet walk along the river and feel the breeze.There is parking on both sides of the road. Is extremely busy on the weekends and public holidays. And clean bathrooms.

The reputation from this temple is the revered Buddha stutue named LuanPoSothorn (หลวงพ่อโสธรwhich belong to this temple long times ago (since the late Ayuthaya Kingdomvia floating from the river and stop. The posture of this statue calls PangSaMaThi (ปางสมาธิ). This sitting posture depicted the scence during the night of enlightment when the Buddha sit down under the Bodhi tree. The statue made from sandstone and has the typic early phase of the Ayuthaya Kingdom art. There are others 4 statues of Buddha that people think they are kinship; LuangPoBanLam, LuangPoWatRaiKing, LuangPoWatKhoaTraKhoa and LuangPoTo.
