Alyssa in Lansing KS is an exceptional manager, person. She cares about the customers and her employees. If youve never been or stopped going here please give it another chance. Alyssa is there all day Mondays and other times during the week. She has hired new employees.

The food tasted fresh but the only problem we had was they dont offer plates to use for your food while you eat. Side note the room temperature was a bit to high while we were there eating.

Food was warm at best. The chicken strips are tiny. Legs had broken bones. Good flavor but left me wanting more when I was finished

Got a classic chicken sandwich, reach in and bun is almost ice cold. I try a bite and its not super cold but not quite hot enough. I went to the counter to complain/ask for a fresh one. The young guy who seemed like a manager said "ok I got you." He didnt take the one I had which I liked. But then after a minute or 2 hands me another.. exact same thing. Cold sandwich. I understand things happen, but when a customer complains about food being less than fresh, it seems to me they should make DARN sure that the next one is straight out the fryer. Sandwich was still really good despite being lukewarm. Only reason for 3* review.

The cashier was unable to make change, because their bank didnt deliver any....lol, the fountain drink machine was inoperable and waited over 30 minute for our meals. The dining area had 4 brand new televisions and a bunch of other things in the dining area. Tables were filthy. This is the Leavenworth Kansas location. What a mess, wont be going back. We love Popeyes but this store is a mess.

They have no change and they have no chicken. Why are they open? The soda fountain in the lobby doesnt work. They have no napkin holders out, therefore no napkins. What is wrong with the owner of this place? I only come here because I love popeyes chicken and this is the only one near me.

Actually the first Popeyes Ive been to in the last couple years that you could actually go inside and eat if you choose to. Every other location I have been to has had there lobby closed. Staff was friendly and the would have gotten 5 stars but were out of mashed potatoes and gravy the one item I was wanting when I stopped in. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

Show up at 230 in the afternoon. ONLY my wife & I in the restaurant & they got our order wrong. How?! Ordered chicken strips & a spicy chicken sandwich meal. Got strips & a 2 piece with a thigh & leg. Missing fries. When I took it back up to get the order corrected, was given a cold sandwich & cold fries after we had to ask for them a 3rd time. Wont be back!

Popeyes was one of my favorite fried chicken places. This particular one in lansing Kansas makes it difficult. Seems like they limit you to what you can order or simply give you what they believe you need. On many occasions theyve been out of something or unwilling to cook more do to closing etc. Just doesnt seem very customer oriented. When ask for manager, he seems to be busy or in his truck smoking. With inflation, prices going up etc... what happened to providing first a good experience/relationship with customer? Second fresh/hot/quality food for customers to enjoy. Disappointed in the management at this particular restaurant. Ill drive further just to get better quality, service and respect.

Went to drive thru the staff were nice but it seems everytime I go thru they are out of most stuff so you never can get what you really want my boyfriend was disappointed there was hardly any chicken on strips was very dry and mostly dried out batter spent 45 min togo thru drive thru and pick up there was aline

Im giving them a one star review because of the unprofessionalism an rudeness we received from Melissa the manager. We rolled into town in our motor home on our way to riverfront campgrounds just up the road from Popeyes. We parked our motor home across the parking lot from the drive thru so not to block anyone. We get out of the rv an go to go inside to place a large order to go but all the doors were locked. So we walked around to the drive thu an waited in line for our turn to order behind the vehicles . when we get up to the window to place a order Melissa the manager starts yelling at us that she cant serve customers that walk up to the window. I pointed at our motor an explained that its not going to fit through the drive thu. She yelled an cursed at us an told us that it wasnt her problem. Now i understand in the times we are living in its hard to find help these days especially good help but that was totally un called for an just plain rude. I recommend that everyone boycott this location until Melissa is replaced.

Lobby is almost never open, drive through service sucks, never enough food, dirty inside if and when open, friars are going out, employees dont appear to wash hands or be very sanitary, often very rude service, close early all the time, overpriced for what you get, burnt food incorrectly cooked food sometimes even undercooked, not willing to replace incorrect orders or wrong orders, often out of syrup for the pop mainly get carbonation or the pop taste funny, seems to be ran by very poor management understaffed and lacking of the ability to meet the demands of the orders that come in to feed the public, has had to have several re-inspections done due to lack of cleanliness presence of flies water backups and sinks unsanitary

Major update: Not sure what has happened to this location. I call Popeyes customer service while waiting in the drive thru. Over 35 mins. Then no coleslaw. Called customer service back after I got my order .In the future Ill see who is working before ordering.I was actually surprised at how good is the service was. Far about most other fast food in the area. The food was also better than expected.

The place was very dirty! The chicken had been left in the grease for too long and the sides were cold!All the tables were dirty and the floors felt like they were covered in grease. I would not recommend this location.

Waoooo…there was a guy wearing a blue sleeveless shirt that’s said “I don’t give a f……k” and a pic of two hands giving the bird behind the counter, I guess he is an employee but off duty, yes, sleeveless one foot away from the chicken, 🤮. We waited 10 min and no service, we walked out, didn’t even order. Will never stop again, grosssss. Went to chick fillet instead.

A little slow, but for only 3 people working and a line wrapped around the drive through during peak dinner rush it was still amazing service. My food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Yall were rockin it.

Doesnt matter what time of day you come here- always SLOW. Its 4pm Sunday & still have 5 cars waiting. Hate to be here in another hour or 2. And that lady taking orders in the drive thru- Ms. Attitude with her snarky answers. Fast food (which this place is NOTmay not be your fit. But bet me, this IS the last time I will give this location "one more try". Never again-.

Had chicken sammich on my mind but after waiting for 20 minutes at the drive through to order I was definitely over it. Apparently only 3 employees on staff and they were having a break while 5 cars (2 at pick up window and 3 waiting to orderin line. Probably need to rethink their strategy to remain open.....

Very slow drive through is long and inside is packed.. waited 10 minutes to get my order taken. COOKS DIDNT HAVE ANY GLOVES ON MAKING FOOD!!! Touched all over the food!! Yuck

Horrible place to eat. Cole slaw was spoiled and chicken had zero flavor. Ordered 5 piece platter got only 4. The front staff and cook were arguing over their relationship. Terrible wait time. Dont go there..... never again....

I should have about 9, 1 star reviews for this place. Apparently it is difficult for staff to follow my food order, every. single. time. It’s always a surprise to see what’s in the bag when we get home! I am hungry for what I ordered.To continue their “tradition”, tonight was yet another surprise.Ordered 4 piece SPICY box to include a breast. Received 3 piece ORIGINAL box without a breast.Other order was 2 piece original box, both breasts. Received 3 piece original box: of a wing, a thigh, and a drumstick. Not even enough meat for my 18 pound dog.Ordered 2 large mac n’ cheese, received 1.I know I should pull over before I leave the restaurant to double check my order, but seriously, my orders are not difficult.I’ll continue to do 1star reviews until I’m blue in the face.

My favorite fast food chicken. Had to update and change the review to reflect the decline in service at this Popeyes. Also, they no longer give military discount. I wouldnt recommend it anymore. The drive through I think are just fine with poor service. They didnt give me my receipt , I had to ask twice. Unfortunate. I used to love this store

Took 35 mins in drive through for food that I ordered for Lobby Pick Up. Pulled up to window and they told me to come in after the doors were locked. They finally opened the door for me and had to wait 30mins more. Mike the owner was walking around doing nothing while his 3 employees where busting there a** to get the food out. This place needs new management and ownership specially since MIKE CANT OPERATE! They are super short staffed and MIKE should be helping but he’s not!

Waited 30 mins for food I asked manager Aubry what was going on and all 4 staff members were upset about me inquiring about the extremely long wait. After my 30 min wait I requested a refund and that took an additional 10 min. This store is always out of something and the lobby is never open. I would not recommed anyone to visit this location.

It took longer than expected to get our food once we ordered, but the cashier very nice and apologetic about it. The food was good also.

UPDATE 05/22/2022 I was in the area last night during business hours and the store was dark - no lights, no employees. Lets hope they did the right thing and shut the store down instead of continuing to steal peoples money and time. UPDATE 02/12/2022 - decided to give them another try. Instead of being held hostage in the drive through, thought I would order ahead online and go pick it up. That way they would have lead time and hopefully I would not have to wait. NOPE, NOT HAPPENING. I went in and the manager said that they were sorry, they could not serve me. For the safety of all customers, they were throwing all the food away and remaking everything. I am #$^%$&%^* serious. This place has failed in every manner possible. It should be shut down. Previous review: DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT FOREVER. The service is AWFUL in that they NEVER HAVE FOOD READY. EVER. There is always a wait. I waited 22 minutes in line on the last visit before giving up and leaving, and was still four cars back.They do not tell you that there is a wait when taking your order. Today THEY RAN MY CARD without telling me and then told me they had no food. Since I did not want to wait AGAIN, I told them no thanks and left. Of course I did not know that they ran my card. so they basically stole my money on purpose and to get it back, I have to drive clear across town, wait in line...... spend an hour of my day because they are incompetent idiots who apparently take great joy in holding people hostage. They are nice people, always respectful and polite. The food is good, but you cant have any unless you were planning on a camping trip at Popeyes. If I want to go camping, Ill go to the lake.

Extremely slow drive through service and the food wasnt good. Better to go to one of the other fast food places right next door.

The worst. Very understaffed under trained. Incapable of fulfilling app order in under an hour then got it wrong in addition to being out of and not carrying items listed on app as available. Ended up having to toss what random food I received in end away as it wasn’t any good. Wasted time and money. Don’t waste yours.

Lobby closed only drive thru open, with no signage. Constantly out of items with no explanation. This place needs to get it together, with better management.

This is far and away the worst Popeyes’s I have ever been to, possible the worst in the franchise. Ever since the new management took over, the quality service has plummeted. I have continued to come back, giving them the benefit of the doubt that the sub-standard service was due to short staffing.After waiting 25 minutes in the drive thru with only one vehicle in front of me to pick up my mobile order, being yelled at through the loudspeaker that I needed to wait, receiving a drink with no ice and no straw, and watching the “short staff” laughing and carrying on through the window rather than making any attempt to actually fulfill orders, I am done with this place.I recommend that you avoid it as well.

Ordered 3 10 piece boxes of chicken strips and other sides. When I got home I had 2 boxes of chicken. Popeyes is 10 miles away I am not driving back. On top of that I ask for honey mustard and was informed they had no dipping sauces. The operation of this location is a joke.

This place is an unsupervised mess. No less than 6 of us waiting at the counter for online orders. Zero acknowledgement from employees until wed been there 20-30 mins. They never printed our tickets off to start the orders. All of the food was out and cooked, just wasnt going to customers. The employees mostly walked around, talked to eachother and went to the back. One stopped to answer her phone and disappeared for a bit. At one point, there were no employees up front. This is an absolute joke of an establishment. This was the evening of 28 Jan. Unbelievable.

Lately they are always out of things. Last week it was the beignets, tonight they have no sides and no shrimp. The service was awful. Nemaya was rude and they made the sandwich I ordered sloppily with Mayo all in the bag and not on the sandwich. I’m done with this store!

I had an overall great experience. The manager was able to get me exactly what I requested the last time I was there. I highly do recommend this place. There chicken is prepped really good and fresh.

Horrifying service. The person at the drive through window didnt want to give us our drinks. When we inquired about the juice for my daughters kids meal the person told us that it was in the bag. I looked and there was no juice. Only *then* did the person remember that they were out of juice boxes. Ok, fine, no worries. They gave us a small drink instead. I ordered the mild version of the chicken and received the spicy version. Beyond that, we were given no sauces for the chicken tenders and NO napkins. Oh and no spoon or any utensils for the mac and cheese that we ordered. Popeyes in a great restaurant, but this location is giving the chain a very bad name.

It was ok. Regular chicken was a 20+ minutes delay, so we took spicy. But for some reason it was way more expensive than I thought the menu said. Also got no sauces even though we ordered several. We were already down the road when we realized it.

One of the worst drive thru experiences EVER! Waited 10 minutes at speaker, everything we tried to order, shrimp, chicken tenders , were not available..girl asked our order 5 times, was rude at window. Classic chicken was SPICY, rubbery. So embarrassed, as we drove to town to deliver Xmas gifts.Could have stopped anywhere. Wasnt offered aWill not recommend. receipt, or a thank you.

If we could give zero Stars we would this was the worst experience ever going to Popeyes especially since it was our first time! We spent $38 dollars, and they did not give us our mashed potatoes and cole slaw. When we tried calling theyre phone they didnt answer, when we knocked on the door the employees just looked at us and even after telling them were missing food, they did NOTHING! We couldnt even go through the drive through because there were at least 12 cars ahead of us what we did get would have been cold! NEVER NEVER will we be back!

Normally I love Popeyes but today they did my family wrong. I ordered a 16 piece family meal with an additional large red beans and rice. I got home and found they just gave me one regular (not the requisite includedred beans order. Thats 1/4 of what I paid for. I am not a happy customer. In addition, when I called back it goes to an mailbox that is not set up.

They dont hire enough employees to handle customer demand & the few they do hire are visibly overworked.(The store manager probably gets a bonus for doing it too.)Its a disgusting & un-American workplace practice.They need to stop exploiting their workers & undeserving their customers.The employees are great, but the hour long wait isnt.Management must be horrible.

Went through the drive thru, was asked if we could wait. Cool no problem. After we sat here for 10+ minutes waiting on whatever the employees were doing we finally got to place our order. After being told exactly what we wanted they tried to upsell the family boxes which we had to say no to multiple times. (Last time I checked people order what they want...It was extremely frustrating to sit with no information. It looked like possible shift change, but no one said a word as we watched a few employees go in. They turned on the drive thru mic so we could hear them talking but it still took time to even order. I rarely come to this popeyes for this reason. Usually the food is pretty good. They stood at the window for about 2 minutes just holding our food. Fast food work is not that difficult and I know I sound like a Karen but when you literally have the food in hand, give it to the customer. Dont make them wait!!!Just wanted to edit...in our 12 piece MILD. We got spicy chicken. We ordered mild because I cannot have spicy foods. The chicken sandwich everyone raves about, mediocre at best. The only thing that was right and perfect was the chicken tenders.

Always a pleasure. Always great chicken. The sandwiches are transcendent. But people are always nice and helpful and there are sneaky GREAT food deals here. Every time I come we pay the same as an average fast food for one meal but end up with soo much food it feeds us for 2 and sometimes 3 meals.

Very happy with the service and the meal was exquisite. Customer service was exceptional with couple staff members who actually took time to ask if you are enjoying your meal and if there is anything they can assist with please ask. I will surely visit again and will encourage folks to stop in. LOVE IT!!!

Have always enjoyed Popeyes spicy chicken but this location isnt the most consistent on seasoning. I have sometimes gotten spicy that wasnt that well seasoned while sometimes I have gotten extra spicy which I like. They have also messed up orders quite a few times but have really good customer service and will fix it with no problem. Just make sure to check your order before leaving. They can also be pretty busy sometimes. Have had 15 minute waits in line before but this is with the line going to the other side of the building. Overall greatly enjoy the food and eat they a few times a month. Wife goes more often and it kids enjoy the mild chicken. Would recommend eating here.

Actually we were very pleased with our visit! The food was fresh and very tasty. We had to wait a few minutes for one of the side dishes we ordered which we were told when we ordered that side. We were offered 2 free drinks of our choices while we waited. Very friendly employees and excellent service! Its a lil pricey but definitely worth it this evening. . . .

Never had an issue other than a missed order here and there; but thats fast food. Nothing life changing. Been here many, many times. Chicken is good and always crunchy. Taters are canjun tasting so if youre looking for brown gravy go to a basic KFC. Green beans are actually really good here. Love them.
