I loved the atmosphere of the market. There was a great variety of raw ingredients and prepared meals.Free wifi is a great bonus., especially for travelers.
Great little market building. It differs from some of the others Ive been to in that the building itself is older, but the flip side is if you come sat afternoon there is a large outdoor courtyard/ overflow where a lot of bars and wine can be had
A good-sized covered market where you can find good German sausages and charcuterie, fruit vegetables, breads but also a lot of non-local products such as Italian and Spanish specialties... too bad the market is not more typical.
Just one of my favorites in Frankfurt. I love to shop, eat and drink (😝🥴here. I spent so much nice and funny time here.♾ amazing!!!!
A very busy market that has everything you could possibly want. The line for a famous Fleischwurst at Frau Schreiber’s was very long, so we didn’t wait. We will certain get one on our next visit!
We got some fruits from there, and they all taste juicy and sweet.
An absolute delight for vegetarians. The varieties of veggies and the colorful display will put non-vegetarians to shame any day 😉The veggies looked very fresh and healthy.
Very thematic place. Pleasant and polite waiters. Good beer, though there is no a lot of selection.Outdoor seating, nice view on the Römerberg and all events taking place tthere.Fried Pork Knuckle is very good, but consider it for at least two persons :)
One of my favourite places to visit in Frankfurt either to buy some groceries, have a quick bite, taste a glass of Riesling or just browse around. Most of the foodstuffs and produces, like fresh and cured meats, seafoods, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, pastries, breads, nuts, species, etc. sold here are of good and high quality though their CP values may not be too high due to premium pricing. There are also some high end products, dry-aged wagyu beef and Bresse chicken from France for example. It is an interesting place for a casual meal or drink. You can find German cooking, Spanish tapas, Italian pasta, sandwiches and even Singaporean laksa there to suit different palates. There is a more formal restaurant upstairs if you want to sit more comfortably and a wine store where you can taste different kinds of wines from the region. It is also a colourful and vibrant place to browse around even if you are not in the mood of shopping or eating something.
Very cute fresh market and local produce. Most things are a but overpriced, but worth the experience.
This was a terrible experience. The staff at NOOM were so unfriendly and not very helpful at all. We had a few items from them and then complained about the chicken that smelt off. The lady that served us started shouting and giving us attitude, saying that nothing was wrong with it, yet one could smell that it was off. She also never gave me my receipt, nor did she give me something I had ordered and paid for. This cant be said for the entire market but definitely for this stall. The pork belly I had was pretty good but was overshadowed by the lack of service.
This place is A-MA-ZING!!!! Make absolutely sure that you visit when you are in Frankfurt, especially if you enjoy good food and produce. This was my second trip, Id not been back in years since before Covid even. I was glad that it hadnt changed too much. I was visiting with family and didnt intend to get much be got caught up in all the amazing options and stopped at the spice store to pick up a few things. The vendor was super nice and showed me his offerings by letting me taste several new things Id not had. He even said, "I dont expect you to have to buy I just want you to taste some interesting things" Well I got what I was looking for AND bought more because it was such a fun experience. I wish more people had the same attitude about dealing with customers. The butcher meats are amazing and the produce is great too. I will be stopping by this guys spice shop on every trip back to Frankfurt.
Great market and the products are so fresh. Everything looks really delicious, and it brings the comparison from the other supermarkets. Best bio, organic quality, and you get to support your local businesses.
Nice market in the middle center of Frankfurt. There are different shops buy vegetables, meats, flowers….
Fresh berries, some tarts we had fun there
Nice place to buy local produce. Not too crowded nor too many stalls on a Saturday morning.
Not a big market, can easily finish walking the entire place within 15 mins. I guess its more for local to do their marketing, not so much for tourist. Limited ready to eat food options, can you probably have to takeout as theres limited dine in area
Great little market building located in the middle of downtown Frankfurt.Fresh everything at this market from meats to produce to backed goods to chocolates.Fun.Very friendly staff and salespeople.Well laid out stalls/Good central location.Fair pricing
Amazing variety of stalls from vegetables to fish to cooked food and drinks. Worth a visit for a bite and to see what local produce is in season at the moment.
Great experience. If i lived in the area, i would probably get all my groceries here. The produce all look so big and fresh! Prices were picket friendly too. And all the stall owners were very nice. Most of them speak english.
Wonderful place to spend a Saturday afternoon. In the Halle there are many stands where you can buy cheese, meat and all sorts of snacks as well as alcohol. Outside people just stand and hang out with their group over a bottle of wine and some snacks. If you’d rather get something by the glass, there are little stands outside nearby that serve beer and cocktails. Great atmosphere and experience.
Frankfurts oldest market to shop daily need essential things. This market has fruit shops, meat shops, coffee shops, etc.
Wonderful market with absolutely good quality produce and products
Wow, awesome market, with stalls for veg, butchers, deli stuff, cheese, bread, cured meat, flowers. Must visit!
a food markethall that primarily sells fruits, vege and meat. you can buy some nice desserts, coffee, and meals here.
It’s a very big indoor market that sells different types of canned, dried and prepared food to eat there, cakes, dried and fresh meat, fresh flowers and plants. It reminded me of Borough Market in London
For me, it seemed not so klein as there were many stalls to buy all sorts of fresh produce. If youre a foodie then you may find yourself lost in here for a while...
Cute local market where you can have a bite. I went on a sunny day but I think this is even better when it is cold since it is covered and works both as a market and food court. Good for tourists and locals, an hour of your day will be plenty to do a round trip, get a snack or go for a glass of wine.
What a fantastic place to purchase all different types of foods from around the world.
Friendly - very touristic place - one of the places that you will find it on too many advisers lists to visit in Frankfurt - presents the locals production and most of everything is processed by hands as the locals themselves
Ive been to Frankfurt a few times and I cant believe Ive never been to this little slice of heaven. So many fresh vegetables, fruits breads, cheeses and meats! A wonderful market to sample local food options. I could have spent all day here shopping. Outside there was a huge party of people gathered in the square enjoying post covid life which was so great. A fun destination!
Visited today, it’s an indoor market full of shops.. meat, vegetables, cheese, meat, flowers etc etc.. good spending time here.. location isn’t hard find, closer to Römer.
This best market you visit inside Frankfurt where you will have all kind of grocery, meat, cheese,?deserts and bakery, all in one cover market , also you some restaurants where you can enjoy local food , must visit when you are in Frankfurt
Cool traditional market place..when you can buy really everything..and with bonus...you feel grate, because you support real people, local people. And it is great place to meet your friends too...all you need , you can buy under one roof!More places like this... 🥰
While Im walking around, I found this amazing small market, which I didnt know about by googling. I loved my time there. I tried a lot of free samples, i.e: olives, cheese and more.In the second floor, you can have a sea food meal. I saw lots of people there enjoying their dish with wine.People there are friendly, you would certainly enjoy your time.
Large selection of anything and everything you want to buy fresh. Only a few food vendors, but thats not really the point of the market. The point is fresh bread and treats, meat, fish, cheese, fruits, vegetables, and spices.
Kleinemarkethalle, a local market with independent stakeholders selling produce, nuts and spices, cheeses, meats, plants, breads, coffee and more. Certainly pay this place a visit, try a few things and buy some more to take with you. Schreiber in the Kleinemarkethalle is popular and rightly so. Serving up pork or beef says sausage, served with a roll and mustard, they’re the perfect snack.
Definitely worth a visit. Not too many options to eat in place but still worth the detour. And of just shopping, youll find great assortment and knowledgeable and friendly merchants! And a good escape of the cold if visiting Frankfurt in the smack of winter
Indoor market with small bistros and restaurants where you can shop your meats and fish and eat there with wine, beer or coffee. You can drop by and walk thru the market if youre passing the area. If not you can skip it.
First day of the Christmas market! Two words Fun and Yummy. Indulge all of your senses and be prepared to spend some cash and I do mean cash; the majority of the vendors do not accept credit or debit card. Almost sensory overload, there is something for everyone. The gluhwein is a must; I discovered hot white wine, its "slapsomebody delicious". There is also apple wine, all kinds of schnitzel, pretzel bread, crepes, German potato salad 😍😍 . Just Go!
A covered marketplace where you can get many kinds of fresh food to prepare at home or eat it right away. Always worth a visit in order to take photos or try something to eat.
Interesting market with plenty of independent shops selling different products ranging from meats, sausages, cheeses, herbs and spices, pastries and vegetables.Go up one floor and youll see a few restaurants to dine at.
Absolutely lovely market within the city center of Frankfurt. Lots of different varieties of eats from sausages, cheese, fruits and veggies and all kinds of other yummy delights.
Crowed, loud and not that big, but the Kleinmarkthalle is a must see when you visit Frankfurt. The variety and the spirit of this place is fantastic. After shopping take a rest outside with some wine and enjoy your day!
Was here with a friend who works in Frankfurt and he recommended that I go and check this market out when I am in town. The atmosphere in here is unreal and the produce was amazingly fresh, local and delicious. There is a wide selection of fruit, vegetable, meats, fishes, bakeries and etc to pick from so do not worry you will be sure to find something that you will enjoy. I managed to pick a couple of things back as gifts and would like to come back here for sure one day.
What a great market we stumbled into. If there is anything fresh you want they have it. Meat, fish, chicken and veggies everywhere. It gets a little crowded but it’s worth the stop. Friendly people and a hidden gym. Or at least I think it’s a hidden gym.
Kleinmarkthalle is smaller then expected but it is packed with generous vendors and unique foods never seen in your average grocery store. Only downside is that most of the items are pricey.
Behind an unassuming entrance is Kleinmarkthalle a giant indoor farmers market. Filled with stalls selling fruits, veg, chocolate, fresh bread, meats, cheeses, fish and there are restaruants as well. The place is huge and busy a foodies paradise! Totally worth finding and buying something delicious!
Must visit this market when you are in Frankfurt. The shops are small but nice. Know the daily food enjoy by local people, and you can buy much cheaper then tourist places like Central Station. The WC are free in the underground floor. So good.
Great location with lots of stalls of different types of produce, friendly service, good prices especially on meat (lamb shanks for only 13€/kg)!I had a great coffee here too, though I cant say the same for their service!
