Mario has been amazing since I started bringing my car into him for 11 years now. Being a female you always are worried youll be lied to or ripped off, thankfully hes a man of God so he has to answer to someone bigger than him.

Among the best customer service Ive ever experienced. Im very happy we chose premium auto to prepare our cars for a move across country. One of our cars had a lot wrong with it and the initial estimate was high. Mario had a lot of patience explaining details and helping to decide what was essential and what could wait. Dont hesitate to take your cars here. I have a lot of confidence well have a safe, uneventful drive to New York.

They charged me $2,100 to change my brake pads, replace my coolant tank, and charged me labor to find an oil leak they didn’t fix. 6 days after they fixed my car more problems happened to my car than before. As nice as they are, they scam you. Overprice everything for no reasonable explanation. Terrible company

Man, at least determining which auto garage and mechanic crew to take your beloved (or "be-loathed"!into doesnt have to be as tricky as sleuthing out where that smoke is coming from, or if thats oil, coolant, or your last bit of patience pooling...everywhere.Honestly, Premium Auto can be trusted to give you the Gods honest truth about whats causing your auto heartache, and (equally appreciateda generally optimistic, knowledgeable and layman-friendly action plan for fixing it. There hasnt been a single situation which Mario, Javier and the rest of the dedicated professionals at this shop havent been able to diagnose and repair, in unbeatable timeframes no less, in my own storied and troublesome auto woes.Even if the piece of mind that comes from knowing where to start your dilemma is the easiest news you learn today, at least your luck is already improving by choosing Premium Auto -- hands down, one of the best and most capable auto garages in the market today.

I do my own work but since Im on the road for work I dont have the tools or area to do any work on my car. I diagnosed an issue with my car, called them to fix it, they let me know that they can fix it but no warranty as they werent the ones who diagnosed the car. I said "no problem!" Brought the car in and they got it fixed that day! Issue has been fixed and car has been great.If I have any more issues while Im in the area, Ill definitely bring my car back to premium auto!Thank you again!

I am incredibly appreciative of Mario and the service I received. My vehicle was towed to Premium Auto with very little advanced warning due to breaking down outside of office hours and needing to choose a drop off location sooner rather than later. They were very accommodating of my situation, allowed me to have my car left there until it could be serviced, and did a diagnostic as early as time permitted. Mario was very communicative every step of the way and was open in all aspects of the issues my car had and what it would take to address them. Even though I ultimately needed to turn down the repairs, I could not have had a better experience.

Premium Auto is the best shop I’ve ever taken my car to. I’m a frequent customer as my car is getting older and Mario and the team are honest about which repairs are more urgent than others which helps me out a great deal. I’ve had battery repairs, an oil leak fixed, a tire replaced which they pointed out had side wall cracking, spark plug overhaul, a broken car door handle replacement and routine oil change. They give me a heads up about repairs that may be coming with thorough car health inspections. Their pricing is competitive, they pay extreme attention to detail and they follow up with every job to make sure the repairs are performing as expected. Mario and all of his team are some of the kindest people I have met. The second I discovered this shop I knew it would be my home base for my car maintenance. I have worked with Mario and his team for about 6 years and I always feel like the really care about me and work really hard to be affordable for my cars needs. This shop is honest, friendly and genuinely care about the people the work with and their relationships with their customers.

Mario and his crew are absolutely fantastic, they have never steered (excuse the punus wrong and we recommend them to everyone we know who has a car issue. They will show you the parts that have issues, explain the fix, give you estimates and show kindness that is uncommon from a mechanic. We will continue to bring our vehicles here as long as theyre around!

I’ve been taking my Subaru here for tires, oil changes and any repairs for the last two years since I moved to Ogden. Great service! Mario is always very communicative helpful and honest. Call ahead to get in the schedule! They’re busy!

The quality of work and integrity at this shop is what everyone looks for in a mechanic. They shoot you straight and do not oversell. I trust them to tell me exactly what my car needs. Their pricing is more than reasonable and they have even treated me well when repairs take longer than they expected/planned.With such quality work, I have found that this is a busy shop. If you need work done you will likely have to schedule an appointment a few days to a week out. Which is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.They will always show you the parts they replaced and tell you exactly how the part failed.

REVISED: JAVIER IS A DISHONEST, UNTRUTHFUL INDIVIDUAL WHO PERFORMS POOR QUALITY WORKMANSHIP, Deceives ANTHONYS CLIENTS, IS DESTROYING ANTONYS HARD EARN REPUTATION!Javier charged me $80.00 for putting 4 plastic zip ties on my fuel line and typing in his cell phone for me to understand what they did to my truck and why it costs so much more than his estimate.His statement was "We had to cut and reroute your fuel line because it was dragging on the floor".He did not do this. He simply put zip ties on it, never cut and never rerouted it and committed Consumer Fraud against this Deafman!He also tried to take me for $220.00 to replace a failing O2 sensor.His statement on that was that the O2 sensor doesnt come out, it needs to have the exhaust pipe cut out, then grind the O2 sensor flange down, reweld a new O2 sensor flange onto the exhaust pipe and then reweld the exhaust pipe back into the splice and then install the O2 sensor itself. $220.00I told them that is not true, gave them my bad attitude and was told to take my truck as they refused to work on it anymore.When I got under my truck with a pipe wrench and REMOVED the O2 sensor with a few turns of the wrench, is when I noticed his poor workmanship and the 4 plastic zip ties.Javier is a disgrace and if you do not like my truthful words Javier, you can sue me but you are going to have to explain your poor workmanship to the courts if you do so. Looking forward to it.TO ALL WHO HAVE WORK PERFORMED AT THIS AUTO SHOP....BE VERY CAREFUL AND VERIFY THAT THE WORK YOU ARE BEING CHARGED FOR HAS ACTUALLY BEEN PROFESSIONALLY COMPLETED IF JAVIER IS ON DUTY BEFORE PAYMENT.Mario is a very respectful person and keeps a Bible on his counter for all to read which is very appreciated.Mario has always been honest and offered very, very competitive prices with outstanding service providers he employed.Sadly, I no longer have services performed at this shop. I was wrongfully rude to Mario and he was completely undeserving of my attitude.He had just returned from vacation and he was unaware of the rude attitude I received from Javier when I took my truck in for repairs.I am truly fed up with being treated with disregard and spoken down to by Javier!I am 100% Deaf.This does not mean I am dumb! Which is how I feel when dealing with Javier.Very little respect from him towards my Wife and I.However, my Wife chooses to keep her comments to herself. If you’re searching for an auto repair shop, you’ve found your place. Premium Auto is fantastic! Mario (Ownerand Javier (Shop Managerare extremely knowledgeable and professional. Whenever I take my car to them, they are able to quickly diagnose the problem and get working on it. While they are great at fixing cars, the best thing about their shop is the fact that they aren’t interested in gouging customers and making a quick buck. I really appreciate that they will tell me what repairs need to be done for safety reasons and which ones can be put off for the time being. It’s clear they want to establish a long term relationship based on trust and honesty. I always leave Premium Auto feeling like a valued customer who was treated fairly.Chris S

This place is great, transparent with costs, and honest. Stopped by on a Sunday, since nobody else was open, showed Mario my radiator leak, and he fit me in his busy schedule. New radiator installed and system flushed by the next day. Truck running good now. Its hard to find mechanics as honest and friendly as these guys. Highly recommended.

I live in American Fork and we were needing a mechanic to look at a possible car we were buying up in ogden we found Mario and now I wish we lived closer to him for all of our other car repair needs. Very professional, honest, and fast awesome customer service if you need anything done for your cars at in the Ogden area please Premium Auto best experience ever! He even followed up and to see if we purchased the van and how that was going for us and then months later he followed up again to see if you needed any other things for any of our cars Awesome mechanic!

Mario was great to deal with on my daughter’s car repair and new tires. He called each night to give me an update. Myself being in Alabama and my daughter being in Utah is more than unnerving when her car has problems. I’m very thankful for all the employees for their honesty and automotive repair knowledge. They are the best!

Not A Positive Experience...The First TimeThey may be honest...I Believe They Are....I Trust Them NowOriginally I was unhappy....But maybe they were just making sure everything was done their way, not mine. But I came back because they are the best in Ogden. I cant always make the trip to my original longterm family mechanic in SLC. I am getting too old for long drives, so I am happy they are here. My original review a year ago was 3 stars now back up to 5 stars. Original Review (July 2010...they sure know how to waste time. I got the run around because they were too busy to do the work needed when I needed it done. It was frustrating to have to make multiple and separate visits for an initial analysis then schedule an appointment to determine what will have to be fixed and then, after that, schedule for repair the following week, maybe.Are they good? Not in my opinion. Are they fair? I felt I was treated badly, Are they cheap? ...I am not complaining about being overcharged thad did not happen Are they fast? Certainly not. I can only assume they must be good for other people or they would not be so busy. For me, I cannot recommend Premium Auto. After wasting both time and and money I am back to my regular mechanic in SLC who does great work, is fast and treats me right. I wish I could find service like that here in Ogden...but what can you do? Answer. Keep looking or drive to Salt Lake City.

Mario and his crew are the best in town, the only mechanics that i fully trust to work on my car! Mario is very nice and always returns my calls and always has time to help me with my car, his crew is also super nice and very experienced. This is the only place that i take my cars to get worked on because Mario and his crew are honest and professional and very experienced! And they are very affordable! Mario calls us all the time and checks on our cars after he fixes them, i cannot say enough good things about this place! Very happy I’ve found them!

Mario was super helpful and got us in quickly. He made sure to keep us updated on how things were going and worked to get the repairs done in a timely manner.

We came in from out of town and my alternator AND AC compressor went out at the same time on a Sunday. Fantastic start to a vacation. I changed my own alternator with the help of a friend in an autozone parking lot but the AC compressor was too much of a job for me. This place was open that Sunday. They got the van in, gave me an estimate (a very competitive one at that), and had it ready the next morning at 10 AM. I was worried half my week of vacation would be ruined but it wasnt because of this shop! If I lived in Ogden, this would be my permanent shop.

I took my truck in to get the breaks inspected they had just begun squaking loudly. Javier the only person in, told me my breaks look fine they just squeak from rust and paint. But if I would like to replace them it will cost around 750$ for disk breaks on all 4 tires.I took my truck home and removed all the wheels myself. Only the front needed to be done. I almost got taken advantage of and misdiagnosed. I replace my own brakes for less than 200$. I used to work at Marios shop many years ago. Hes a great man with great business. Im just not sure what the shop if turning into.

Since moving to Ogden Ive come here to get my oil changed. Theyve always been good with that, informing me about anything I need to know.About a week back my serpentine belt broke on me. I was able to get it to them the next day and got it taken care of. When I can back they let me know that my water pump was leaking. Since I needed new tires, and I wanted to make sure nothing else was going to break, I had them look it all over.I dropped my car off, and had all the work I need done on it. When I came back the next day, the service really shone. I always worry about the work being done on my car no matter where I go. You see stories, or hear news reports, and it makes you skeptical. When I came in to pick up my vehicle they showed me all the parts that they had replaced and the wear on them. Just getting that reassurance really put me at as, and has me given my trust in going here.

Premium auto is the only shop i know I can trust The owner Mario goes above and beyond to offer a great in person experience. Javier was great gave me all the information I needed they are up front about everything and they take the time to explain what the issue is and what are the reasons the parts need to be replaced and gives you a breakdown on prices and give you updates every step of the way. And once everything is all done he took the time to show me all the old parts and points out what and where the problem was. Overall by far the best auto Shop in Utah

Mario and his staff are so amazing, they give you lots of options with fixing vehicles if they can and don’t try to push you into decisions. They are super honest and always check in a few days later to make sure the car is running well. Can’t say enough good things about this crew!

They are the best and most fair mechanic shop I have found anywhere in Ogden. They dont try to take advantage of you and tell you things are wrong with the car and its not. They get right to the point when they diagnose the problem and bid you a very fair price for what the problem is. I will be going to them anytime I ever have any issues with any of my cars. I feel confident going to Premium Auto. They are professional and are always friendly to me. Mario always explains to me what my vehicle needs done before doing it and tells me why. I feel like they are honest and do their best to keep my vehicle running well. I am able to get in and out at a reasonable time too. Its hard to find a mechanic that you feel is being honest with you but I feel like I can trust Premium Auto for sure!

Excellent customer service, thorough explanation of the problem and solution so I knew exactly what was being done to my car, and then they got to it quickly. I suffered through all of last summer without A/C because I thought it would be an expensive job, but Premium Auto took good care of me and the car at a great price.Had my car in again for new tires and brakes. Premium Auto is the best repair shop in Ogden. Ive recently moved out of state and havent found any shop with the same quality workmanship. Their punctuality and ability to explain the work done in an easily understandable way, are the things I appreciate most.

I brought 2 cars in to Mario for a bunch of service to include, ac repair, emissions, trans service, brakes, check engine light, etc.First of all, I was greeted with Excellent customer service, a clean, presentable garage and waiting area.. I soon found pleasant, knowledgeable technicians that go out of their way to help.After my automobiles were repaired, I was shown all of the replaced parts, where those parts failed, and offered an idea on what to watch for in the future when other parts go bad. I was given a very reasonable bill for the work performed and quick return time.Excellent experience, and I highly recommend everyone to go to Premium Auto first for repairs!!!

I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received from Premium Auto. Mario especially was helpful, kind, and patient as I navigated my car trouble. Mario recommended a great towing company (which was also reasonably pricedand had my car done before it was scheduled. I am really glad that my coworker recommended Premium. Ill continue going there for my car needs for as long as Im in Ogden.

When we moved here from California, we struggled to find an honest mechanic. We weren’t looking for the cheapest; we were looking for someone that was going to treat us the way they would a neighbor. And that’s Mario and his team. They’re honest, fair, and aren’t going to sell you something you don’t need. And if they feel you have the capability to fix or handle something your car needs on your own to save you money- he’s going to let you know it. We’ve had everything from our lifters fixed, to our oil changed here.They stand by their work, and their employees. Javier and Mario were extremely professional and courteous to both me and my granddaughter. They were up front with us about the cost. When problems were found I received a phone call and short video of the damaged part before the work was performed. When I picked up the vehicle they showed me the parts that were replaced. I felt that they were very reasonable with their parts cost and labor. I will take my vehicles back to them when repairs are needed. Great job guys.

Great shop! And great people. Mario did a great job on assisting me, I came from Idaho to visit Utah and had some problems when arrived to Ogden . My vehicle wasn’t gonna let me make the drive back but Mario made sure he was able to get me back on the road and home safe. He’s a great man, very professional with great communication and does very good work and makes sure you’re good to be back on the road.If I lived in Utah this would be my go to shop for anything!

I was so happy that we finally found a trustworthy mechanic, they do a wonderful job and are always honest about cost and time.They even follow up with you to be sure your vehicle is running well after service.Even though we moved we still go to premium auto because of the service and honesty.

They did a great job!! My husband took our truck in to have the alternator changed. They were very fairly priced, quick, honest and courteous. They went above and beyond any other mechanic weve ever been to. Very impressed! Will definitely come back in the future and recommend to anyone that needs a good, honest mechanic.

I have had very good experiences with Premium Auto. This week, my wiper fluid wasn’t working in my car. I figured the pump was broken and that I’d need a new one. I took it to Premium Auto, fully expecting to pay for a new part and labor. Later that day, they called and said the lines were just clogged and they were able to clear them out. It would have been easy for them to just replace the pump and charge me a heck of a lot more, but they took the honest route, which I appreciate. This business has my trust!

Our radiator sprung a leak as we rolled into town late afternoon. Mario was able to get it in due to a cancellation and worked a little late to do it. They has us ready to finish our road trip the very next day with excellent service and a fair price. I was very, very impressed with his honesty and great customer service!! I got lucky I called them, would highly recommend!

Mario and his staff have done amazing work on my car. The first time I went to them I had gone over a bump and damaged the under carriage of my vehicle. Mario and his team worked quickly to repair my vehicle, and kept me appraised of the status. After all the repairs were done, Mario took me into the garage and showed me all the damaged parts that his team had removed and replaced. I have snice been back for other maintenance, and plan on returning again whenever I need work done. Thank you Mario and all the staff at Premium Auto for your hard work and honesty!!

Mario has worked on my fleet of over 15 vehicles for years. He runs his shop w integrity - Theres no doubt he is an honest mechanic and does a great job. Ive done tons of work w him and any time something wasnt right he fixed it immediately. Hes even fixed things at no cost for a couple of people I sent him that were down on their luck. You wont find a more trustworthy shop than his. I send all of my friends and my personal vehicles here as well.
