The entire hallways smell of smoke, the non smoking rooms smell of smoke. If youre asthmatic or have sensitivity to smoke, stay far away! Bathroom door didnt shut properly and the room had to be shut hard or else it wouldnt close all the way. If youre a MIL family, the price might seem fair but spend a little more elsewhere! Also... the literal pool is green and stand still!!!
You get what you pay for, but if I were a Quality Inn corporate inspector, I would ream the maintenance contractor. Our first room, the door to the bathroom was split in the laminate for the entire top half, did not have a front entry light, and missing light bulbs from the lamp. Any number of visible curtains for the outside windows are sun damage and shredded. We had to go back how to recode the room key card. Most of all, the breakfast was a very cheap offer of packaged pastries, packaged oatmeal, fruit, and very little worthy of the name of food. Lesson learned. This place drags down the name of the franchise. Thats a shame because we appreciate other QI stay overs in the past.
This Quality Inn must be struggling. The room was not cleaned well- floor was definitely not vacuumed. Broken or malfunctioning faucet and not a complete repair under sink- toilet paper shoved in the wall. Tub/shower is chipped and dresser drawer and door where mini fridge located was bent/katty wampus. Informed front desk of unclean room when went to ask for one more towel. Was told he would bring one and then he called the room and said we could not have one because he was booked...did not seem to be fully booked unless he meant per a reduced room availability as the parking lot was not full at all. The only saving grace was the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very limited and not well stocked. There were families with children looking to eat. A friend was filling in at the front desk and was very very helpful and wonderful as he restocked the breakfast items enough for the families. Seemed a lot of skimping in the repair, upkeep and operation. I did inform in writing and verbally before I made this review of these issues. We are staying at Choice Hotels on this trip and reviewing. I would recommend someplace else as this place is struggling.
Great Staff, Grest price, and everything you want in a hotel. Made our trip to Tombstone a delightful one.Shak was one the best front desk person I ever meet at any hotels. He was very kind and did everything he can to accommodate us. A+ StaffThank You
Room is large, bed was mostly comfortable and the check in clerk was very friendly and accommodating. Due to covid breakfast selection was small but at least they had one! Would stay again if were ever in the area.
The room was dirty I seen blood stain on mattress on corner bottom , not enough towels, A.C not cooling . Front desk people nice but nice has nothing to do with cleanness. Didnt have safe Box . Wont stay here again.
We had an amazing experience with this hotel! We had to come here due to a death in the family. During our stay the hotel staff was incredible at helping us with any request we had. They took amazing care of us with our unique circumstances! Thank you for your help!
Service was lacking the pool was closed most days and there was a sorry breakfast of an apple bottle of water and a granola bar. A fat cry from what we have become used to with quality inn. And weve been choice members for better than 5 years . I was told these were amenities only. I told them that was why my wife and I stayed. We are through.
Pool was closed due to cloudy weather. Smells of cigarettes/old building. Doors dont lock very well. No breakfast despite listing it. Rooms are hot/humid. Sheets are stained/dirty.
The manager or owner(whatever he waswas very nice. Room was clean. My only complaint would be the smell. Not the room but in the halls it smelled bad.
I loved it. It is under new owners and remodeled.. Well worth the money and rooms were spaced and clean. It had everything you need. If it didnt, theyd do what they could to accommodate you!! But most of all, the management, front desk, housekeeping and maintenance are great. Theyre all very pleasant and great customer service. It felt good to get what you pay for, for once. I live in Sierra Vista and I have stayed there several times, a day or two. And a whole week when my home was being worked on. I would recommend that if you need a hotel, Quality Inn, Sierra Vista is the place to goGREAT PLACE!! THANK YOU AGAIN TO THE WHOLE STAFF FOR MAKING MY STAY RELAXED AND ENJOYABLE
The whole place was dirty and had a funny smell. The swamp cooler outside was absolutely disgusting. The beds were uncomfortable and the room was extremely hot! It wasn’t worth the money we spent! I won’t be returning
spacious room with back door access directly to the pool. no breakfast offered at all. rates should be discounted since there is no breakfast offered at all. too far from stores the only gas station near by closes at 8pm
I was mad when the front desk didnt tell us that he is booking a smoking room for us over the phone. We got there and Im like Im pregnant I cant be in that room it smells really bad. They didnt have any other rooms available for us to change the booking and so we had to figure out where we are going to stay for 10 days since we just moved from washington to arizona due to military orders.
Good price, clean rooms. No sign on building and it was tucked behind other buisnesses. It felt a little dated and in need of repairs. Great value and pool was in good shape.
Checked in to the place, received room keys, walked in room and saw cockroaches in the sliding glass door area that goes to the pool. The door didnt even have the appropriate security bar to deflect potential intruders. The front desk person was great and very friendly which was the best part of my experience. I received a full refund without hesitation fro the front desk clerk.
The room was okay, the shower curtain rod hung so you had to tuck the curtain to stop water from covering the towels and toilet. Also the rod moved freely. The water was warm enough, and slowly got warmer. And the worse part was the cockroach in the sink.
Ok so the people here are real nice. Im on a mission to roof a school down here. They dont touch your stuff so make sure your bed is clear. They change the sheets which is nice. I got one problem the bathrooms have no vents....bad smell after a while I would assume....
Pay attention...once you see the towering sign, thats the only designation to locating the INN. It sits back behind another building. There is nothing to announce "this is the Quality Inn". Even driving up to the entrance, nothing on the door or in the lobby says the name. I had to ask the front desk if I was at the right place. The room was clean, a plus. There were ample electric outlets. The most in any room Ive stayed in. Another plus. The central bath venting didnt work. (Two rooms, neither worked)We had a light out in the bathroom. The toilet kept cycling on.Hmmm. Sorry this review isnt better.
Arrived early afternoon. Property looked tired. Carpeting in hallway loose and dirty. Check in was quick and professional. Pool area is outside. No lock on gate or outside doors but Jacuzzi hot.Bed was ok with sheets scratchy. Bathroom partially remodeled. Faucet had corrosion exterior. Went to take a shower that evening - no hot water! Response from front desk was ??? and will get back to you. Nothing else.At 7am still no hot water. Front desk said yup. Water lukewarm. Too cool to shower. Received an adjustment that was not acceptable. Clerk would not discuss.Breakfast marginal. Issue was not quality but that items were not refilled. By 8:30 no pastries or bagels. Only white bread. Nice biscuits but no gravy. Sad.Lots of better motels in Sierra Vista for less.
Great customer service, tasty breakfast. Start serving at 5:30 am-9:30 amRooms are VERY CLEAN. COMFORTABLE.QUIET. AFFORDABLE.I will be staying here from now on.THANK YOU.....😁
The rooms are really comfortable and clean especially for the price. Friendly staff. Also they have Wi-Fi, and free breakfast until 9:30. The food was really good and fresh. Will come back for sure.
Spent a week here with my wife when we first moved to the area. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was generally helpful and the breakfast was more than adequate. We stayed in an "accessible room" and the shower was a bit weird, but we can handle quirky if the price is right...!
Will stay here every time I fly into Tucson! Great rates!Remember your not paying Hilton prices 😜TV signal could be better & surround around air conditioning unit needs a few nails🤗Decent place to relax. No hookers, druggies, massive parking problems, or bugs... yuck😁Nice comfy bed w/LOTS of pillows😁In this case Id have to say I got a lot more than I paid gor😁Thanks staff for making my stay lovely🌺
Good hotel for its price. Nothing really special but it is definitely affordable. Rooms are decent size, and clean. Was not impressed with their breakfast. Besides the waffle station and yogurt in the fridge I would skip the rest.
I just stayed here to spend the weekend with my husband who was down here for training.... I will NEVER stay here again! First off, Im a woman in a new area and my first red flag was that the exterior doors to the hotel have a key card reader there, and THEY ARE NOT IN USE. So now I dont feel completely safe, the front desk staff was unprofessional as I checked in. Having conversations with friends that just came to "chill" and when I called down at night, the phone rang until it just hang up and I had to call again for someone to finally answer, I asked for a new towel, and she told me to come down and get it myself, and when I came down she was leaning against the wall flirting with some construction guy. On top of that, they arent doing their job right because 3 of the 4 days I stayed, I had to walk down and have them re-program my key because they didnt And if that is not enough.... I dont think anyone likes to see spiders crawling on the walls and going into cracks in the baseboards. I do not recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel for the money. Big rooms with microwave and fridge. Breakfast isnt the best but is free. I wish the cleaning staff would go around before late afternoon at times. It is annoying to come back to the room at 4pm and have them either there or knocking very quickly to ask if you need anything.
The staff was fantastic, its an all block building so it was very quiet. The beds were a little hard for myself and at the time we stayed here the jacuzzi was not working, other than that a great establishment
Check in was slow but choice advantage has sucked since it was forced upon hotels in 2006. It should be streamlined and stop causing issues for employees and guests alike. The check in gal was very nice, she had worked a shift went home for less then eight hours and was back again. I was thinking you to know that good employee are VERY hard to come by, wearing someone out will push them to find something else if you dont make sure they get time off. Shower curtain in 206 is to short, we kept floor dry with used towels (thats y so many were on the floorand watch the bathrooms. Toilet needs cleaned under rim sink faucet is badly tarnished, but the top looked like soap was still on it. Remember bathroom and bedroom are the two facets of a hotel room that must be clean. Recap: get more people hired (people who want a job and make sure you pay them a living wage). And clean the bathrooms better.
Awesome value, very clean and quality. Staff couldve been a bit more initially cordial, but nothing a short chat didnt help. Only issue was A/C unit seemed to be stuck on one setting- wondered if it was purposely that way, not a huge issue as temp was fairly comfy. Breakfast was decent, WiFi worked great.
People mention about this place as being dirty, or looking in bad shape. In my opinion, for the money, this place is good. Not great, but good.Ive been in many different places during my travels, in the U.S, and overseas, and it all comes down to one thing: you get what you pay for and so far I cant complain. The sink plunger might not work or the microwave carousel may not turn but come on, you get what you pay for.By the way, this place IS clean and it IS quiet.
Drove 2000 miles and arrived early. The person at the desk was very nice, and gave us a room on the first floor right away (we are senior citizens). Room is large and very clean. Good deal for the money.
Hotel itself was built in the early 70s and it shows. There are evaporative coolers going to storage rooms that are rusted and moldy right on the walk ways outside. There was evidence of cockroaches in the main hallways. (Dead bodys). Cleanliness could be a little better and our toilet seat was about ready to fall off. Seriously, both screws were on their last bit of thread. I would have thought the cleaning person would have noticed it...
Doors barley close (you gotta slam them), wifi only stay connected for like 15min at a time. One wash, one dryer. Front desk cant make cash for aforementioned washer and dryer. Rooms are sheets arent always clean. At least the people here are really nice.
I would rate a 0, the staff is rude, go down for breakfast, the new business owners whole family seems to attend. Have to wait for coffee, and food. We used to stayed here a lot, at least 3 times a year. Never would we have had this issue. The beds went from Queen to Full, We had always stayed in the same room. The owner is rude, claims its is hotel and do what he wants. The price right, but... "great" job to the new management. So, my recommendation is, pay the extra and stay next door at the Hampton Inn!!
The entrance to the facility isnt ideal for someone driving in at night. Its not a very well lit area. The facility itself is nice for what youre paying. Spacious rooms, fairly equipped gym on site and updated appliances within the room.
Great hotel for a reasonable price. The staff was friendly at check in and check out. Housekeeping kept the room clean our whole stay. The free breakfast had a wide variety of items for everyone. Our room on the ground floor had a slider out to the pool making it convenient to swim when we wanted with minimal mess
Desk clerk couldnt tell me where they were, and gave me incorrect directions. Got put in a corner room, and you could feel the heat through the walls. Power outage killed ac, and had to leave the room to survive. Breakfast was the typical obligatory "something" hot, but was quite unpleasant. People with food allergies are never catered to, and neither are vegetarian or vegans.
Clean rooms and very polite staff. We were lucky to get a room here after a disastrous attempt to stay at a motel down the way. SO glad we came here.Breakfast was good, the pool was nice and the location is wonderful. Will DEFINITELY stay there again if we come through Sierra Vista.
Nice quiet place ..clean large room great TV with remote. Wonderful AC and very comfortable bed. Nice microwave and great size refrigerator. I love the coffee maker. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic .....waffles and biscuits n gravy toast pastries juice coffee tea.....even TV to relax and start your day!### I found my hideaway and I will be back. Oh yeah the bathroom was nice great show head and hair dryer too.
Nice location close to restaurants and the mall. Very quiet and relaxing place. Fabulous breakfast and nice friendly staff. AC worked great. The parking was very convenient to my room. You get all the privacy you want. No one bothered me and I stayed for quite a few days. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Great coffee maker and large refrigerator....and dont forget that new microwave! I found a Gem of a hotel...I will return!!! Aloha
The room was fairly clean. Not really any complaints there. But the staff at the front desk was rude when we checked in and was not accommodating at all. The second day we were here, we left our dirty towels on the floor and they were not replaced. I tried calling on our room phone not once but twice. Both times the phone rang and rang without answer. After I hung up the second time I called on my cellphone and on the second ring the phone was answered. Which makes me believe that phone calls from room numbers are purposely ignored. When the front office staff answered and I opened with "Hi, I just called on our room phone but there was no answer. Is there any way we can get some towels? The ones we left on the floor were not replaced." And the office staff replied with "Excuse me?!" So I repeated the part about the towels not being replaced and the reply I received was "Well housekeeping is gone for the day. Youll have to come get them yourself." Oddly enough, she as fairly pleasant when I went down there but she still had a chip on her shoulder. There was also a guest at the pool with his son and the father was smoking marijuana. I reported this to her as well and she said there was nothing she could do about it.The WiFi was also terrible and did not work.
Ive stayed here several previous times. This time will be my last. I came and checked in, brought my bag to my room and left to run an errand and have dinner. Came back and my key would not work. Went to the front and the woman behind the desk asked if I had had a back pack. I told her yes. She brought my backpack around and told me that someone else had been booked into my room. She stayed that they had been moved and fixed my key card. I went to my original room to find that the sheets had been pulled down and disturbed as well as towels having been used. I called to the front desk as this seemed highly unsanitary and was not okay. The woman gave me attitude about how she was the only one working and couldnt get new sheets and towels into the room. After a couple minutes she finally offered to move me to a new room. Had this been offered initially or even had the room been cleaned this would not be an issue.
The location was right off of highway 90 so it was easy to find. The grounds were okay and the lobby was really clean. The rest of the building left a lot to be desired. Had to switch rooms because of a water leak from upstairs. Staff was almost nonexistent. If I absolutely had to I would stay again but only if I couldnt get a room elsewhere.
If I could give no stars I would. The front desk attendant Bernadette or whatever her name is got very irate with my family and I and told us we had to check out because we made too many "complaints". They skipped over our room the second morning we were there and I went to the front desk to let them know and they took care of it. We didnt make any complaints or say we werent happy with our stay there which is what she claimed we said. After she told us to leave she called the police and had them sent to our room 20min before checkout while we were packing our stuff. My family and I took the whole ordeal as racial discrimination and being military and traveling constantly we hope we dont receive this kind of treatment at another Quality Inn.
Clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed. Tiny amount of freeway noise in day but not at all noticeable at night. All promised amenities were in working order. The location felt safe. The breakfast was continental, average quality food for that kind of thing but kept nicely stocked for full three hours. Would recommend.
Enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Nice staff. But the spiders. In two nights i killed 3 the first night and 5 the second. Simple monthly bug spraying would take care of that.
My wife and I wanted a place to stay for an affordable price during my drill weekend. She needed to catch up on some work so I invited her to come stay at the quality Inn with me, she could catch up on work while I was I was training and wed spend the evenings together. From the outside the building looked very nice. There was a large, clean fenced in pool and, of course, continental breakfast. The rooms were actually very nice for the $50 a night price we got online, comfortable bed, normal sized shower with an adjustable shower head, basic satellite and a nice fridge. The only complaint was that the hallways smelled like cigarettes.
Doesnt look like much from the outside, but they have renovated and for the price, you cant beat it! Definitely great value. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub.
Unwilling to work with us as a company. Very short and stubborn. I was looking to use them for our company and use them regularly. They were 40% full and I was looking to book 6+ rooms. They would rather loose my business, now and in the future, then work with me. Harry the manager was quite short and rude. All I was asking was for was our rooms to be eligible for the reward points on our corporate card. VERY VERY VERY unimpressed.
