Quinta da Vila in Santana

This was the second time we stayed at this fabulous wee apartment, all ya need for a few days in Porto do Cruz, the town is a must see if you visit Madeira, the views are spectacular, wether you want to surf the 3 beaches or visit the rum distillery, walk around the point or just sit in awe of the mountainous cliffs from east and west including Penha do Ãguia. The apartment is overlooking the town, with its own banana plantation. Very well equipped with very approachable owners. Beds are comfy and has a great area outside to sit and watch the world go by. We are around 60 years old and enjoy walking, just to say that Porto do Cruz is built on very steep hills so please keep this in mind as some can be very tough. Cheers 😁😁😜🤪😜🤪

Krásné ubytování za přiměrenou cenu. V ubytování je k dispozici kuchyňka (sklokeramická deska, mikrovlnka, konvice, lednice, spousty nadobí). Pan majitel velice vstřícný a milý. K dispozici je terasa, zahrada, parkování v zahradě. Do centra vesnice je to asi 100 metrů (bankomat, restaurace, bar, obchod). Pokud máte auto, je to velice dibře umístěné ubytování na výlety a túry. Během půl hodiny dojedete na levády Calerirao Verde, nástupní bod na Pico de Ruivo, Canical, Funchal, nebo třeba úžasný trek Vereda do Larano.

Ferienwohnung mit kleiner, gut ausgestatteter Küche, Bad mit Wanne, Bett, Schrank und kleiner Terrasse mit Sitzmöbeln und Liegestühlen. Einfacher Standard - aber alles, was man braucht. Im Garten Bananen zum Selberpflücken :-)Fazit: Man fühlt sich nicht als "Hotelgast-Touri", sondern Dorfbewohner auf Zeit. Erst recht, wenn man die touristischen Stätten meidet und dorthin geht, wo die Einheimischen sind: Einkaufen im Minimarkt (Rua dos Cravos), Kaffee und Frühstück im Café mit Bäckerei (Rua das Oliveirasund Essen im Restaurant "A Pipa" in der Rua Doutor Abel de Freitas. Und wer schon mal hier ist sollte unbedingt bei Belmiro und seiner Surfschule Salty (Madeira Surf Schoolvorbeischauen.
