We did "Ruins of the Mystic Temple" as a couple and finished it with just a few seconds left. It was a fantastic experience! Weve done about a dozen escape rooms around the Denver area, and I have to say this one was the best by far. Between the set design, the sounds, the lighting, and the special effects - they have created a truly immersive atmosphere.

Beautiful theming and interesting puzzles. However after doing two of the rooms, I found it frustrating that two of the rooms had these light based puzzles that were super finicky and time wasting, even if you understand what you need to do. I’d suggest the team works on improving those mechanisms since they’ve left a sour taste even after completing a room in time.

Went for my sons 18th birthday. We had a blast. We escaped the ruins. This place is a blast you really have to work together in this particular room to escape in time. They offer a place to set your belongings securely in a locker with a key at the front while you play. The place looks like a time machine. The staff were awesome friendly and sweet. Our girl was really cool an it made asking for clues so much easier to do. When your with all boys getting them to ask for help isnt easy but this girl was a gem. We totally loved the adventure and cant wait to go again!!

Hands down the BEST escape experience we have had at an escape room. (We’ve done over 60+).Clayton was our GameMaster and he was AWESOME!!! The rooms are super immersive and will have you truly feeling like you are in the scenarios.Will definitely be back to finish the room we missed!

Played all three rooms here and they were great! They were immersive and theatrical, with clever puzzles that were challenging enough to get your brain turning, but always made sense in the end. Also, Katie and Clayton were awesome. Ps. Keep an eye out for sidewalk chalk outside the entrance. You may be in for a fun surprise.

We visited during our team retreat. Easily the most immersive escape room Ive ever been to. Found out that the designer of the rooms also designs for Meow Wolf which makes complete sense after you go through them. Challenging but not so much that its impossible, the host was exceptional, she was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend, its worth whatever travel it takes to get there.

One of my top 10 escape rooms in the US. Props were inventive, every little detail was a delight, and the way it all worked together to immerse us in the world it created? Genius. We did Frost Station Z, 10/10 will go back for more in the future.

This was a VERY FUN escape room! So intriguing and kept us on our toes. Also appreciated them letting our 10 person family do the same room at one time. The effects were quite impressive. Shannon was very personable, and Casey was so nice and helpful as well. Definitely recommend this escape room, and will definitely return to try the next adventure!

Cant say enough about how fantastic this place is! First, the customer service was impeccable. They are absolutely determined to make sure people are taken care, feel comfortable and have a GREAT time! The decor is top notch and really sets the tone for the experience. And the rooms/games/puzzles are just challenging enough so that you have fun yet still get to display your intellectual abilities. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

A group of 4 of us played Paradox and loved it so much we went back the next day to play Ruins of the Mystic Temple. Both rooms were awesome! The theming and scenery to each room was next level and both were challenging in their own ways. The staff was friendly and helpful both games. Highly recommend with a group of 4 or more. One of the best escape room companies I’ve ever been to!

Casey was awesome and helped our group have a great experience in the time travel escape room. There were 6 of us and we were all busy for the whole time we were in the room.

So much fun with my siblings! Detailed puzzles with super friendly staff, Casey to welcome us. We hope to visit again soon, would recommend to anyone who loves puzzles.

We completed The Last Speakeasy scavenger hunt as an activity for my daughter’s 34th birthday. The kit we received was very detailed and the clues were appropriate for a wide range of audiences. It was a fun afternoon on the Boulder Mall.

SO fun. Went with two friends and did Frost Base Z-- and we just barely escaped with four minutes left on the clock. Very well put together with clever puzzles that were not ridiculously difficult but definitely interesting enough to make you feel like you had figured things out. Im definitely going back if I get the chance.

This was the coolest escape room Ive ever been too! The set up, the props, the execution of the stories, it was all so well done. We totally lost because it was just me and one other in a recommended 4 party room, but I definitely WILL be returning and recommending this place.

We just did two escape rooms here in one week. They were the most in depth and immersive escape rooms weve ever been to and weve done over 30 rooms. It felt like we were in a movie and we had so much fun! We loved how innovative and creative the puzzles were! No detail went unnoticed, even in the lobby. We also loved how you can add on things to your room. Our only complaint is a panel on the wall in the last room in Frost Base Z fell on 2 people (one on the head and one on the handbecause it wouldnt stay up, so I hope that can be fixed so nobody else gets hurt. Otherwise, we highly recommend!

Believe the hype about Rabbit Hole Recreation Services! We are escape room owners and enthusiasts and this is one of the best we have ever seen! The owner and employees are fantastic and welcoming. The lobby is fun and interactive. The puzzles are engaging and unique. Truly a gem and we are so glad that we made it a must do before leaving the Denver area! Loved this place! We had a long weekend in Denver visiting from Springs and this place was recommended by an escape room owner and this place lived up to everything that was mentioned. Great props, very intriguing storylines and no bottlenecks for a max sized group. We came on a Friday and returned on a Saturday and already cant wait to return to Denver to finish one last room. 12/10.

We have experienced a number of escape rooms and this one was the best so far! Amazing set design to augment the storyline. We will definitely be back! And, all experiences are private for you and your crew!

We did ruins of the hidden temple. It’s a very well done room, interesting and challenging puzzles, we also loved that there weren’t very many key/code locks and instead had a lot of unique puzzles that move you through the room. The ending is also cool. Our game master was also lovely. We have done another room here as well and also really liked it, this is a great company. Definitely recommend.

The most unique and well-designed escape room I have ever done! Every puzzle and clue was hand crafted and totally fit with the theme. Not a single padlock in sight! I also loved the way that they deliver clues. Our game master kept them coming at just the right pace so we were able to do most ourselves but not get too frustrated with ones that stumped us. This place definitely sets a new standard for room design and escapee experience.Definitely coming back to try the other two!!

Party of three with experience ranging between 3 - 90 rooms.We had a phenomenal time at Rabbit Hole today. Clayton and Katie were fantastic hosts, guiding us through all three rooms back to back. Top notch rooms in set, puzzles, and tech. We had tons of fun. They even walked us through the room, let us ask questions and explained the tech we were curious about. Super great to talk to. These are very approachable rooms, with intuitive design and great sound and lighting design. That being said, I would almost do an average room before you do these just so you can appreciate them more.Frost Base Z was my personal favorite, but you cant go wrong.Cant wait until this awesome company expands because I have no doubt everything they produce will exceed expectations.

What a COOL experience!!!! We did the Mystic Cube room and had Shannon as our Game God. Perfect level of difficulty, and the production value was out of this world. We’ll see you all next week!!!!!!

Some of the best escape rooms in Colorado! Ive done over 30 escape games and rank this company very high for immersive games with good stories and quality puzzles. All 3 rooms are great! Most recently experienced Shannon as our game master and she perfectly supported us with clues that nudged us in the right direction without giving too much away. We felt like she was attentive, fun, and kind! Definitely go check them out!

Our group of 5 had so much fun completing the escape room. Everything was set up so well and was so responsive. Very creative and fun!

Absolutely fantastic Escape Room. The rooms are made with a lot of love, atmosphere, and expertly crafted to guide you from one puzzle to the next. Big shout out to Alex for helping us through, definitely going to come back for the other two rooms.

I had a fantastic time here!The staff were kind and helpful, the aesthetics were on point, and the puzzles were fun, varied, and appropriately challenging. Each member of our group had multiple chances to shine. Also, the lobby is absolutely delightful. We did the Ruins of the Mystic Temple room, and we plan on returning to try out their other rooms!

Fantastic room, Jack did a good job answering our questions. I strongly prefer the text hints instead of a microphone, so I am happy they used text here. My team did Frost Base Z and we crushed it! Got out with 9 minutes left with 2 hints, this was not the norm as we were told that groups that get 3 or less hints get out 35% of the time. The room was very immersive and linear and all the puzzles and clues made sense. I hope try their other rooms out!Update: Got around to the Mystic Temple! The room was equally immersive and well-done. They did lose our team photo but they provided us a coupon for future use.This style was not my favorite, my team struggled to simply try to match some symbols, this was our fault, it just didnt click for us. This cost us a ton of time. We did not get out but our gamemaster (who swapped at some point during our solveshowed us through through the finish which was very nice of them. There were a few things on the floor that mislead us near the end too. If you do this room you likely will see why or how. Overall I am super happy we did it (and I hope to do Paradox!but I did prefer Frost Base Z (maybe because we did better, Ha!). Thanks Rabbit Hole!Update (2):We got around to doing Paradox, and we crushed it! With 2 hints and 4 members on the team, we got out with 17 minutes to spare! WOW! The room was equally high quality as the others and it was clear how puzzles connected. It had a nice storyline that was easy to follow. I was a bit concerned at first about 1 item you use, but it was used exceptionally well (and not overused). The room has a more stable and calmer mood compared to the other 2 rooms. Clayton was a great and welcoming puzzle master.I feel like Frost Base Z was my favorite of the 3, but primarily for the set design and one very cool feature at the start. Thankfully, there are very few locks in these rooms (Master-lock type of locks). This is a huge upside. If you can, I would do all 3! If you cant, pick the theme/storyline that your group finds the coolest, you cant go wrong at Rabbit Hole. The only downside is that I wish they had more rooms ;-)

We had the most amazing time on mothers day at the Rabbit Hole rec escape rooms! The puzzles were innovative, challenging and super fun - I was really impressed. Very professional staff and experience from the moment I called and asked to schedule 2 rooms at the same time so we could do a kids vs adults competition. We all, loved the experience (yes, even the teenagers!!)

Went for mothers day! We love escape rooms, so this is only our 4th, but definitely the best weve been to. We played Paradox. The puzzles were just hard enough. We didnt make it out in time, but were on the last step, we enjoy the challenge. Casey our host was great. The decor inside is fantastic and the room was very immersive. Highly recommended. We will be back.

My boyfriend and I have done probably ~25 escape rooms around Denver, and I would HIGHLY recommend Rabbit Hole Recreation Services. Their rooms are immersive and contain unique puzzles (i.e., zero or few combo locks). Tech is also well done which makes completion of puzzles very satisfying. We have done two of their rooms now and each was enjoyable, immersive, and exciting. The staff have also been fun and professional (we had Casey one day and Harry another).Judging an escape room location can be very difficult based off of reviews as all offer a cool, unique experience. However, Rabbit Hole is a must whether you or experienced in escapes or not. We will definitely be back!

Had a lot of fun with my friends! We did the Frost Base Z room and escaped! The set dressing from the moment you step in the door is astounding! We were helped by Katie, who was a wonderful help. I came out of town but Ill def love to return to play the other rooms! A++ experience!

Definitely the best escape room weve ever been to! Very immersive. Super kind and knowledgeable host. Absolutely beautiful room with lots of mechanisms we hadnt seen before. It really did feel like we were transported into the game.A few times while playing, I genuinely felt like we underpaid for the experience.

Fabulous!!! The Rabbit Hole exceeded my expectations.Update: 2nd adventure down the rabbit hole - even better than the first. My whole family loves this place so much! Our only concern is, that once weve experienced all of their escape rooms, then what - will they make more for us? This place is a gem. You really must experience it.

We went with a group of five people and we had a fantabulous time. Jack our host was warm and welcoming. He was willing to answer any questions we had for him. Give him a raise!! There were fun puzzles with good effects. Frost base Z was for sure recommend!!

This place was lit. From the time I walked in, I knew it was going to be legit. Ive done over 15 escape rooms. We ran out of rooms to do at our local escape so we asked our puzzle master for some recommendations. Without hesitation, he said Rabbit Hole was hands down his favorite. Honestly, he said it with some jealously so I knew we had to book an experience ASAP. We did Frost Camp Z, and Im still shocked how awesome everything was. I genuinely felt like I left Colorado and went to another world. Lots of escapes try to do this, but it actually worked here. The puzzles were complex but not overwhelming. Everything made sense. Special effects and attention to detail were off the charts. We are 1000% coming back and doing every room they have. Thanks Katie! You rock too! :Stop reading, and go book a time.

My daughter and her three friends (all 11 years oldhad a blast doing the Mystic Temple escape room. It was challenging, fun, and a little bit scary at times - and they loved it. Their game host Clayton was great and provided helpful clues when they got stuck. They cant wait to go back again.

This was our first-ever escape room. Our son (8 years oldwas a little apprehensive, but Katie was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We had a great time completing the mystic temple room. It was well thought out, great for all ages, and super fun. Katie gave us plenty of hints to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. My son loved it and cant wait to come back.I also did the stuffed animal add on, which was a cute feature and very well received. I love that they also offer add-ons for other local shops to share the love and help you shop local.

Ive done over 20 escape rooms in 3 different states and this is the best place Ive ever seen! The rooms really cant be beat. The puzzles are a little more difficult than other places, but this makes it great for a larger group of 5-6 people. Everyone will have something to be working on. Ive done all their rooms here and they are all immersive, well-thought out and creative. I cant wait for them to expand and add even more rooms!

Review for Frost Base Z room. Ive done over 30 escape rooms, mostly in Los Angeles, and I was very impressed with this room and the overall service. The production level and design of the room is up there with the best, easily the best Ive seen in Colorado. My group was comprised of 3 other escape room addicts and we finished with 7minutes left and needed 2 clues that appeared on the monitor. But I feel like the difficulty is one that many types of players could handle. The puzzles all make sense in the world of the room, there are no giant leaps in reasoning. The room is advanced in terms of its technology, lots of custom built stuff and it all worked properly as it should. My only complaint is that I wish I was in town longer to play their other rooms. Oh and our gamemaster Katie was great. Fun and kind and she let us go back into the room after we escaped to talk out some of the puzzles that we wanted to review with the team. Ill be back!

WOW. These escape rooms blew me away! The aesthetic and tech of the rooms really make you feel fully immersed. The creativity that went into these puzzles are phenomenal. I highly recommend these rooms to someone looking for a professionally executed design and story line experience. We will absolutely be back!

My husband and I did the mystic temple room as a date night and had an absolute BLAST! We were super immersed and the puzzles were really fun! Ellie was wonderful at knowing when to give us hints and we loved that we werent limited to a certain number as other escape rooms often do. We cant wait to come back and do the other rooms!

We try to hit an escape room in each city we visit, and we travel a lot! Rabbit Hole has blown all the others away! By far the most immersive experience yet! Definitely stop and check them out if you are in the area!

Ingenious room design, fun for all levels.We have now done all three rooms at Rabbithole. They are all very well done with clever puzzles and interesting story lines. This is definitely not your "padlock-and-code" style puzzle room facility.Mystic Temple - great for families and for folks that want a fun challenge. The payoff when you solve the puzzle is among the best of any room we have done (now over 30).Paradox - one of my personal favorites, with an interesting story, and amazing special effects throughout. this room is particularly well suited to groups, as there are many puzzles that can be worked concurrently.Frost Base Z - Wowza! This is an experience from the moment you step inside the set and special effects are terrific. The puzzles are challenging and very clever. We got out with just a minute or two to spare, but enjoyed every minute of the puzzle, exploring the landscape, and learning the story.Rabbit hole has also created an artistic lobby with great opportunities for selfies and team photos before and after your puzzle room adventure.
