Great hike
Nice trail with access to the waterfall lookout, lower trail to 22nd Street trailhead and access to Bonneville Shoreline Indian trail. Well mantained, but not very wide in a few spots. Which means you need to be aware of bikes coming down from above. Saw deer, birds, and wildflowers along the way. Fantastic views of the canal siphon and Ogden Canyon waterfall to the north.
This is such a beautiful trail, one of my favorites!
Amazing nice hike wide trails not to steep definitely kid friendly dog friendly everything is good nice lighted parking
A very busy trail, but you can access several trails from this point.
Nice gentle walk on paved walkways along the river.
Beautiful easy hike hike up the mountainside. Trail had light traffic with some hikers and bikes.
Being from Dallas, we don’t experience the awe inspiring grandeur of mountains and hiking trails like this. The weekend I visited, the Parleys Canyon fire started, so I stayed close to Ogden.First it was the river, then this trail that got me hooked. Highly recommended for all but best to go with a friend if you’re not experienced at hiking slopes or occasionally slippery gravel right next to the edge...and best to have a walking stick...and bug spray handy. The plateau overlooking the golf course was especially quiet and serene, with all sorts of interesting plants. Going back ASAP!
Very nice, hardly anyone, but the smoke out in the valley is nuts.
Run from rainbow to waterfall canyon and back, good trail!
Beautiful place to relax.
Nice little hidden picnic areas found one in the afternoon on fathers day.
Lots of shade. 👍
The shortest hike ever, but still pretty. If you stay quiet, you can hear the birds.
Nice little private peaceful area by the river. No bbqers but good for a picnic and getting your feet wet area.
Trail is good nice view
Nice upkeep with friendly trail users lots of mt. bikes being very polite.
Not stroller accessible. Not very pretty either.
Love the trails and the views highly recommended ⛰🚲
If ya like to hike and enjoy the mountain trails. You can go to the dinosaur park or walk the trail down. Fishing and picnicking.
Lots of parking and multiple great trails for beginners.
Great trail, beautiful views, just right in length and perfect for any skill level. Bonus: Dogs allowed! Our 3 month old Golden Retriever LOVED it! 🐾
Trail head is nice, plenty of parking and it has restrooms there for those who forgot to go before heading out or after a long hike and a lot of water.
Beautiful scenery and a nice easy going trail to hike, run, bike, walk what ever it may be you do you boo boo.
It was beautiful
I love the outlook point of this trail.
Nice trail. Well kept. Frequently traveled, no complaints.
Happy 4th of july! Beautiful day at Ogden River!! A little buggy this year but,had a great time!
This is an easy little hike that will take you away from the city for a minute. Very wooded and shady. Flowers, birds, foliage. We continued on Overlook and had a nice view of the valley (and, unfortunately, the golf course).Trail was a little narrow but not difficult.
Great place to start a hike or a Mountain bike ride!
One of my favorite places for a quick hike. If alone be aware of your surroundings. Ive ran into a few creeps and some hobos off in the bushes while I was walking this trail. I would say its a great trail if you arent alone!
Amazing, rode my onewheel-XR all over.
Nice of Rainbow Gardens to let us park here. You can go along the steep valley wall westward or southward to the bench which is an ancient shore line. I just went with my son to collect rocks by the river. I found three pieces of red granite. One was falling apart , the next was a similar color and the last was slick and very hard. Granite forms at depth and eventually falls apart at the surface; so called isostatic rebound. My son found a cliff of boulders glued together with concrete. Go up further and see if you find the antique car.
Fun to mtn. Bike
Moderate trail for all ages.
Pretty, paved, some shade.
One of the best trails around, a lot of options that are clearly marked
Ogden has awesome trails.
Lots of poison ivy! But its nice
We go here when we want a nice easy hike with lovely views and a good mix of shade and sun. Sometimes we see deer and of course always hear birds, especially on the upper half.
Great area for hiking trails. Trails could use a little work but are in fairly good condition.
lost my dog but with good trails after she had run off due to the good trails I found her.
See if you can find the "downward spiral!" its hiding in plain sight. ;)
Great area for a hike but is a little crowded between urban areas.
Great place for hiking and trail riding.
Our evening bike ride was perfect. Not busy at all.
Nice easy trail. Children (not toddlerscould do this trail too. Active seniors can survive this trail also. Its pretty gradual not steep at all
Easy, safe l, well marked family trail.
Beautiful hike. Trail was all maintained.
OkAy this place will not disappoint. Throughout the trail youll get a variety of gorgeous views. The deeper into the hike you goi the more and more you feel like youre in Hawaii. This is definitely an experience I would recommend
