Ramada by Wyndham Pottsville/Frackville in Schuylkill County

When I made the reservation I was told it was 2 minutes from pottsville nope it is in downtown with parking across the road. The front was dirty and unwelcoming. It smelled like cigarettes. It took me 15 minutes to find someone to check in. There are all kinds of people hanging in the lobby playing the gambling machines. There is no breakfast and I just didnt feel safe there. I have stayed in much better hotels for a lot less money

Parking is horrible, had to cross a street with our luggage to get to the hotel. Very poor for elders and the handicapped should not even consider it. Did not take a shower as the shower head was filthy and loaded with mold. Did not sleep well, bed was hard as a rock. Forget the continental breakfast as they are "renovating" come get something from the front desk they said. Overall not a good stay!

Older building but out deluxe room was recently renovated. Clean, LOVE the laminate flooring vs. Carpeting! Location a bit sketchy at night but no issues. Only complaint is the Skills game room off the reception area. Its open to public and attracts a lot of non guests walking in off the street. Feel its a bit unsafe for paying guests.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, we wanted to do the Yuengling tour. The first night we arrived we had to park across the street and cross traffic to get to the hotel. When we got in the lobby the floor and front desk was dirty, when we got up to our room the room was filthy. We had to keep our socks on and the bottoms of them were black by the end of the night, the wallpaper in spots was pinned into the wall with push pins and the bathroom was sticky (the sink and the toilet). Unfortunately I didnt read the reviews before I booked, as it seems other people had the same problem with cleanliness. On the bright side, the Yuengling tour is wonderful, and only a few minutes from this hotel!

I travel a lot for business and was satisfied with the quality for the price I paid. All members of the staff were very nice and one even checked my room to ensure it was ready to go before I headed upstairs. It was quiet and my room was clean with no stains or anything on the bed.A lot of the reviews are people complaining about the parking situation. It is literally a parking lot less than 10 steps away from the hotel and it is free to park in - really not a big deal here. I will say if you have/are traveling with someone who has a disability, it would be difficult to get inside. If not, it is legit 10 steps.

6/24/22 - Pottsville, PAOur room was filthy! When my husband pulled the toilet seat up the toilet was covered with pee and hair. The beds were made with the sheets and spreads tucked under the mattress. One bed had a huge wrinkle. When we pulled back the blankets the sheet was clumped at the foot of the bed. Both beds had hair in them!!!The front desk worker said that there was a new housekeeper who had marked the room as clean. This front desk worker tried very hard to accomodate us but there were no other open rooms. She offered to clean the room herself which we declined. She then assisted us in finding other lodging (because it was Friday night 7PM, we had to call 8-10 places before we found a bed and breakfast with an opening).Really awful!!!!

Ive had annual martial arts camps nearby and stayed at this location on multiple occasions. I have been a satisfied customer to keep coming back and with ownership changes over those same years. My last camp began Halloween 2021 for 3 or 4 nights. The first night in our "suite" was a bit rough as we, my roommate and I, had been traveling all day and were weary beyond words. So we were a bit cranky, when we settled in to find a few things that we were promised to be lacking: The room had not been cleaned, there were no hangers in the closets, the in-room phone could not connect to the front desk, there was no fan (as promisednor was there a 2nd desk in place...all of which were corrected the following day, but it made for a frustrating start. However, the rest of our stay was quite good and the hotel manager (Rockymade good on his promise to comp our first night due to the admitted miscues. Also front desk staff were very nice and accommodating (especially, Gina). All in all, Id give them a B+ and we shall return in 2022.

Had a great expectation as I was driving from Canada and needed a good place to sleep and rest. The first shocker was parking, have to park opposite to the building and walk up with the luggage with run down steps. The lady at the reception was warm and courteous. The building definitely need some serious repairs and maintenance. Had room on the first floor. The rooms was OK and the bed was comfortable but the wasroom was a sticker with taps and sinks needing repairs. The TV never worked.The supposed breakfast next day was damn squib. Will never visit or recommend .
